Hello everyone, i am Striker56. This syoc fic was originally written by user "King Spike Rules", i was his editor for grammar and a participant. Around chapter 27 he lost the spark to continue the history and he offered me to write the remaining chapters using the base ideas, so i will finish the "job" to the best of my ability.
Without further ado, enjoy.
Neon lights filled the late night of Tokyo, with many having the time of their lives, hangin out with friends, co-workers, or their loved ones, while others had... More frisky ideas for the night. One of these people, mingling in the night crowd, is Kenta Toshio, age 20, coming off a hard worker job at his father's business. Since he was young, he always felt living in his father's shadow, or his three older brothers as they all had their own businesses that formed the Toshio Square. Sighing and crestfallen, he kept walking down the sidewalks...
When suddenly a random noise caught his attention!
"Huh?" Kenta said out loud staring at the alleyway and looking around to see if anyone else noticed what he had just heard. After a few moments, he slowly walked down the alley to where the noise came from and gasped when he saw a young black hooded person around his age...
Facing off against three thugs!
Kenta could not tell much from the individual with the black hoodie on their head and their hands in the hoodie's pockets, but he could tell they had a dark complexion.
"What did you just say about me?" one of the thugs asked them, menacingly poking their chest, making the person lean against the wall.
"All i asked was if you knew a man with a snake tattoo on his right arm." The mysterious person said with a noticeably male voice and seemingly staying calm facing off against the three of them.
"And i said people like you should show respect when in our country." Said the thug poking him again and flipped the person's hood off, revealing a man with long black hair and green eyes. In an instant, the guy grabbed the thug's hand in his and quickly turned it. There was a loud crack and the thug fell to his knees, screaming as if he was in a stadium cheering his team in a soccer match, "Y-y-you broke my FUCKING WRIST!"
"I see," the man said looking down at him with his menacing green eyes and Kenta could feel the tension from where he was watching, "You think because I'm not from here, i have to follow the rules of some punks like you." He then further turned the thug's wrist and this time a sickening crunch was heard. If it could have been possible, the thug would scream even louder than before.
"Let him go!" one of the other thugs yelled and taking out a knife, he thrusted it towards the man of the hoodie. Seeing it coming, he let the first thug go and dodged the knife thrust, grabbing the second's arm and swiftly broke his elbow. Screamed in agony, he dropped the knife and bent down. The third looked nervously at the previously hooded man who slowly turned to look at him.
"Now, will you answer my question?" he asked looking at him with his piercing emerald like eyes and the thug began to tremble, sweating bullets while worry invaded his mind.
"N-no, we don't know any one with that kind of tattoo your talking about! Seriously!" he answered and stared at the guy with horror in his eyes. The man of the hoodie stared at him for a few seconds before letting go of the second thug's arm.
"That's all i needed to hear." Then walking past the third, who went to aid his companions, continued on as he walked past Kenta, who felt a tremendous pressure of the likes he had never felt before and he could feel his knees getting weak. The guy looked at him for a moment before resuming his way.
"Wait!" Kenta yelled collecting what courage he had and turned to look at the stranger, who had stopped and turned to look at him, asking "What's your name?" The guy remained silent for a few moments, just staring at him.
"Taaru Mota." he answered him and began to leave just when Kenta reached for his arm, causing Taaru to grab his throat, choking Kenta and questioning him "What do you want."
"T-to talk." He said struggling to breath, Taaru looked at him before letting go of his throat, Kenta rubbed it and coughed, looking up at him panting heavily.
After a while, now eating at a restaurant, Taaru was ripping off pieces of meat from a medium sized steak and eating it while Kenta was enjoying his at a slower pace.
"So, you came here looking for someone?" Kenta asked watching Taaru eat his meat like a starved lion while he used chop stick to eat his own.
"Yeah, and all i know is that he said he was from Tokyo and had a snake tattoo on his right arm." Taaru said ripping more meat and looked at Kenta while chewing, swallowing his food before asking, "Why do you care about this?"
"Because seeing you do that stuff in the alley makes me think we can help each other." he explained, looking at him as Taaru finished his meal and put the bone on the plate.
"Sorry, but i can do it on my own." Taaru replied, standing up and cleaning his mouth before heading out and walking past Kenta, who was left shocked. Racking his brain looking for whatever he could do to stop the man from leaving: an idea popped into his head.
"Wait, do you have any money?" Kenta asked him and Taaru stopped in his tracks, standing there with no reaction and then slowly turning to look at him. "Thought so, you help me and I will let you stay at my house." Kenta said taking out his bank card and paying for the meal, standing up smiling at Taaru, who looked at him annoyed. After a cab ride, they arrived at a house that looked barely big enough for one person.
"So, is this your place?" Taaru asked him and looked it over, the question made Kenta rub the back of his head embarrassed.
"Yeah, It's the best i could afford right now." he said looking down worried while Taaru walked with his bag on shoulder.
"If it keeps you warm and safe, then it's ok, that's what matters." he said opening the door and leaving a shocked Kenta smiling. Following him into the house, when he stepped in, he saw Taaru's hoodie on the floor along with his shoes by the door. He looked up and saw the wife beater Taaru wear, which struggled to keep his muscles under control.
"Damn, he's ripped." Kenta said looking at his body, seeing it was nowhere near his size and sighed, picking up the hoodie while closing the door.
The next day at his job, Kenta was in the middle of doing a mountain of paperwork and sighing out of fustration when a knock came to his door.
"Hey Kenta." a voice called out and he looked up from his computer to see the office manager looking at him from the door.
"Yes sir?" he asked looking at him and he could see a nervous look on manager's face, with his eyes looking behind him, making Kenta follow his eyes and his own widening when seeing Taaru standing there with arms crossed.
"Y-you have a visitor." he said moving out of the way and Taaru walked into the office, seeing him made Kenta swallow hard looking at the green eyed man.
"Why are you here?" he asked Taaru when the manager left, and then shutted the door so no one could hear them.
"You said you'd help me, not spend your time in your job." Taaru said annoyed looking at the worker, who was shocked that he would come here and want results so soon.
"I will, but this will have to wait until..." Kenta started to explain when the door suddenly burst open and a man walks in, he was in his late twenties with long black hair and a stern look on his face as he stared daggers at him.
"Brother, why do you have guests at work?" he asked him and looked from Kenta to Taaru, who gave him the same menacing glare, making him back down slightly.
"My name is Taaru Mato and your brother is helping me find a man with an arm long snake tattoo." he answered for him and turned to Kenta who was sweating heavily before sitting up and yelling with determination "Denji, i want to speak to the chairman now!" Drawing all their attention as Taaru turned back to look at Denji, who was still in a state of shock form what he was told.
"As you wish, I'll return with his word." he answered and walked out of the room, leaving them as Kenta was shaking from what had just happened and Taaru looked at him with a different view due to what had just happened. A short time later, they arrived at the chairman office while Kenta shook again as he tried to reach for the door. Taking hold of it and pulled it open Kenta saw his father, Gou Toshio, sitting at the desk looking at his computer.
"Are you just going to gawk or are you coming in?" Gou asked looking away from his computer screen and stared as Kenta gulped down, walking into the room until his father put a hand up to stop him and Taaru from going any further. Taaru paid this no mind and continued to walk with Gou watching him head his way, "Well, you seem to not have many manners."
"Shut it, i want to know about a guy with a snake tattoo in his right arm and i think you might know him." Taaru declared glaring at Gou, who gave an equally intense glare back at him showing no signs that he cares about what Taaru said.
"You really don't know anything about business, do you?" Gou said sighing and sitting back in his chair, looking at Taaru, who is slowly starting to lose his temper.
"What the hell are you talking about?" Taaru asked reaching the desk, and Gou, grabbing his caller, looked at him without losing his composure.
"Back off or i will call the police." he said, Taaru could only grit his teeth and return to Kenta's side. "How could you have brought me such a savage person Kenta?" Gou asked looking at his son, who was staring at him with a furious look on his face. "tell me what you want." he said fixing his collar as Kenta began to walk further into the room and stopped just feet from his dad's desk.
"Dad..."
"I'm joining the Kengan Matches!"
Kenta yelled catching his father's attention. Looking at his son in shock before he finished, "And he's my representative." This statement was shocking to both Gou and Taaru, causing them both to look stunned at Kenta.
