Chapter 10: Farewell Doc
Later, the gang, with help form the grown-ups, went to Saurus Rock to put the tooth in place. However, Doc was about to leave.
"Doc. You don't have to leave." Cera said to him. "The Time of Bad Luck is almost over."
"I best be moving on anyway. This herd isn't for me." He said to her. "Too much talking."
"I guess." Cera said sadly. "But don't go too far. You'll never know when we'll need a hero."
"Kid. You've already got a hero. Your father."
That got Cera to turn to Topps and Bowser and Grandpa. Doc was right. They were all heroes. Littlefoot and Chomper saw the same thing as well.
"Well, I best be going now." Doc said as he turned around. "But someday, our paths will cross again."
"Farewell Doc." Cera said sadly. Just as Doc left.
After that, Cera walked over to the others. Looking at Saurus Rock, it looked brillient with the real tooth in place of the stone one.
"How's that look Father?" Chomepr asked.
"Much better than before." Said Bowser.
"Now the time of bad luck will finally be over." Said Cera.
"Cera. That was all just a bed time story as Grandma said." Grandpa explained.
"I know. There's no suck thing as bad luck. And no one knows if the story is true or not. But there's no harm in making sure."
"I guess so." Said Topps.
"I promise Dad. I'll never believe in nonsense ever again."
"Now that's the best news I've heard all day." Topps said as all of them went back to the valley.
Later that night. Littlefoot, Chomper, and Cera were seen at the fire pit telling s story to Dinah and Dana and other young dinosaurs.
"There was no escape for the Leaf-eaters." Said Cera.
"The huge Sharptooth was stomping his way to the valley. His massive teeth dripped blood as he roared." Said Littlefoot.
"But then, when all seemed lost, the Leaf-eaters looked on the horizon and saw, The Great Dinosaur Trio." Said Chomper. "The Great Longneck, The Great Three-horn, and The Great Two-claw."
Not too far away, Bowser, Topps, and Grandpa listened tot he story. They knew it was about them.
And so, another myth was born. It will change with each retelling. And even now, who know when this one will end.
And so, The Secret of Saurus Rock was come to a conclusion at last.
But did feel right for Cera to believe all that? Even I'm not sure.
Was it the right thing?
Maybe it's better that I don't know. Maybe.
Anyway, The Stone of Cold Fire is next. Don't worry, Cera will be back to her old self in that story. So stay tuned.
