With a quick rub of his hands, Mage leaned down and focused. His eyes flashed a deep brown as he pressed his hands into the earth under him, feeling for the subtle movement of the ground, the warmth of the earth. It radiated around his very being, and allowed him to feel it reverberating through his entire body. The longer that he focused, the harder it was to focus on everything at once. He could see the entire spark of the ground around him.

With a large and powerful inhale, Mage let his power go. Slowly, the world around him began to rumble in a powerful and deep earthquake. To all those around Mage, each of them bearing colors of different tribes, it felt as though some massive natural disaster had struck. They each, however, watched as the boy moved his hands down and pointed his palms to the ground, causing the tremors to move underground.

In front of Mage stood a massive field of ground that sloped and rolled in all directions. As he focused his power, the entire earth began to roll and rumble with it. Slowly, the hills flattened, the ground leveling itself out. A nearby river was suddenly diverted away, causing it to violently froth from the vibrations. The very ground itself was brought down to Mage's feet.

With another flick of his hand, Mage caused a small patch of dirt to churn up. Slowly, it began to spread, churning up the ground and spreading out in a massive ring. The large ring of dirt was sent flying around the entire massive patch of leveled ground, until it had formed an entire circle. When it was finally finished, Mage leaned his hand up and took a hard breath, trembling on his feet for a brief moment before smiling and turning to the assembled people behind him.

"This will be the spot of our new Summit," Mage nodded, "The Summit has, and always will be, a symbol of our progress towards a unified World. No matter what happens to that symbol, we will always work to rebuild it. And now, we will work together to do that, and bring forward a brand new era for the Tribes." The massive assembled crowd of people began to stir as Mage took a step towards them and out of the ring he'd formed in the ground.

"Each of us has contributed to the peace we now are in," Mage continued, "We fought the Raiders off and destroyed them for good. Never again will we be threatened by them. We showed everyone that we're stronger together than we ever are apart. And that means that, no matter what, we have the ability to move forward not as a set of random people, but a unified whole of Tribes that, together, can defeat anything that threatens us! Let us rebuild this Summit as a sign of our ability to push forward, no matter the odds!"

The massive group of workers let out a massive cheer, several of them clapping for him. Slowly, they began to filter forward and around Mage, each holding some kind of tool. The Earth Tribe members quickly went in and began the process of solidifying the ground for the rest of them. Metal Tribe workers hauled in massive chunks of metal soon to be shaped into the first supports. Water Tribe and Poison Tribe members began working with the nearby river to orient the flow and shape it into a water source for the building. Light Tribe and Sound Tribe members began to take tools and get to work with the others to start working the nearby land along with the Nature Tribe. As the members of various tribes got to work, Mage smiled warmly and walked over towards a nearby rock to slowly sit down.

"We've broken ground today on a new era, Lloyd," Acronix' spoke up. Mage turned his head to see the Time Tribe leader not in his overly bulky armor, but instead in a simple set of working leathers, each one painted blue and green atop their dull browns. He brushed his hair back around his head, tied it off with a bit of cloth.

"We're just rebuilding the last one," Mage admitted, "We kinda did everything over again, so it's not really a new era, I think!"

"The lives of these men will never be the same again," Acronix' shook his head, "But I believe that it is for the better. The Raiders have forced us to see that our strength is truly from unity. I believe this time, the Summit will be a far stronger body than it was before."

"Well, I did have it designed to be even bigger," Mage smiled, "It's going to be big enough to house an entire Tribe by the time we're finished."

"As it should be," Acronix' chuckled, "... I think we truly have something to look forward to here, Mage."

Acornix' looked off into the distance. When Mage followed his look, he saw none other than Krux' helping heave a massive chunk of metal up. His gauntlets were nowhere to be seen. A young man carrying the back end of the chunk suddenly slipped, dropping the metal. Krux' turned just in time, causing the end to be frozen in a deep, red status holding the beam in the air. He offered his hand to the young man, helping him up and releasing his power once he had his grip back again.

"Muto finally gave him his powers back in full, right?" Mage asked.

"Indeed. Once Muto saw how we defended you during the Twins' final strike, they decided that my brother was truly worthy and had redeemed himself for his actions," Acronix' nodded, "And now, I can truly say that the Time Tribe is back to its true leaders."

Mage, rested from exerting his power, stood up and nodded his head for Acronix' to follow. The young leader didn't say anything, instead just following Mage diligently. As the two moved away from the crowd, Mage looked up at him with a rather firm expression.

"How are they?" Mage asked, "Are they truly locked away?"

Acronix', realizing what he was asking, nodded with a solemn frown, "Muto has taken them into his care. The Firstbourne agreed keeping them near Chen is a disaster waiting to happen. Muto says they hid them where none will ever find them again."

"Good, good," Mage nodded, "We can never know where they are. I don't want anyone being hurt because they know about this."

"I concur, and have ensured that no one, not even myself or my brother, has any idea where they are," Acronix' informed him, "I trust in the will of the dragons that we will never worry about them again."

"That's all we can do for now" Mage sighed, "Thank you."

"It's you who I need to thank, Lloyd," Acornix' nodded, "It was you who gave us time to move into position to help you. None of this today would be possible without you. Your friends are equally as important to this outcome… but you must know that it was you who helped to do this today. Do not forget that."

"I won't," Mage smiled, "And I won't forget that you helped me either. If you ever need me, then I'd be happy to come to the Time Tribe right away."

"I hope you feel that way about every tribe," Acronix' chuckled, "But I will remember that. I should return to the effort…" Acronix' paused, "But, Lloyd, know that I will forever be grateful to you. You truly have helped me move forward in life… and I will not forget the deed that you have done for me."

With that, Acronix' walked away. Oddly enough, Mage suddenly felt a strange sense of longing, as though something had just ended. When he thought about it, everything had truly come full circle now. From the moment that the Twins had arrived to now, so much had happened that it was hard to wrap his head around it all. Watching Acronix' walk away, even though he knew that he'd see his friend many more times in the future, seemed to be the end of something.

That strange sense of melancholy carried Mage back towards the efforts to help out. With the design laid out, the architects of the Ice and Mind Tribe were working to direct the placement of the supports for the building. Hundreds of supports would be needed to fully support the building they were creating. When it was done, Mage wanted it to stretch to the sky, much like the structures he'd seen in Harumi's world. The work to make the design happen had been immense, but now, he had the chance to truly do some good for his people.

As Mage wandered about and helped out with various tasks, from shaping the metal beams to simply drawing water out of the air for exhausted workers, he spun his way in and out of the crowds. Eventually, however, he spotted one man working to direct a series of workers in marking where one of the first supports was to be set into the ground.

"Dad!" Mage called out. Garmadon swiftly raised his hand, his normally pristine robes slightly dirtied from the massive amount of people and work around him. Seeing his son approaching, he smiled at him.

"Lloyd," Garmadon nodded, "Would you care to help us? We could use your strength. We must lay the beam upright so we can properly set the ground around it."

"Sure!" Mage nodded, "I'll be right there!"

Mage hopped his way over towards the small ground, landing around them. From the looks of them, they appeared mostly Fire and Metal Tribe. They were hefting a massive metal beam, perhaps ten feet tall and two wide, up into the air. The sheer weight of it would likely be almost too much for them.

With a glow of gunmetal, Mage reached out and placed his hands against the beam, "Alright! On three!" With a small count, Mage used his power and his own natural strength together to help pull the beam upright. The others around him quickly did the same. While each of them strained to get it up, with Mage's help, they managed to quickly rotate the beam until it lay directly on top of the small area marked for it. Once there, a member of the Earth Tribe stepped forward and focused his power, causing the beam to slowly sink into the ground and harden the ground around it as they held it upright. Once it was fully sunk into the ground, the group took a step back and looked down at it together.

"One down, however many to go!" Mage smiled, "Good work!"

"Indeed," Garmadon directed the men to take a brief rest as he made his way up to his son, "It will take a long time for this place to become what you envisioned it to be, son. But as long as you continue to commit to making it, then I am certain it will become a true reality."

"That's what you said about the last Summit, dad," Mage chuckled, "I know what you mean, though. It's going to be a lot of work, but… it's going to be a sign that we can move forward."

"I think it's time that we truly do move forward together," Garmadon smiled at him, "And I and the Firstbourne will be at your side no matter what."

"You make it sound like she's like you, dad," Mage smiled, "But, thank you. I'll make sure that I count on you guys when I need you."

Garmadon smiled warmly, putting his hand on his son's shoulder. The two of them looked out and over the massive amount of construction going on, and what it would all mean for them together. Mage wasn't sure exactly how long this would take, or even if it would get done before winter came. But either way, he knew that it would be important for them to work at it either way. All of the Tribes were here, working towards this new future. It made Mage feel as though everything that he had done here, and everything he was going to do, would mean something.

"Is Skylar here?" Mage asked, "She normally lets everyone know that she's around when she gets here!"

"Hrmm, I imagine she likely had business back home," Garmadon chuckled, "I suppose that you might just have to go check on her after this. You can still call the Firstbourne when you need her, yes?"

"Of course!" Mage looked up towards the sky, "I'll check on her after we're finished today. I want to make sure everyone sees us make progress today!"

Garmadon nodded, "Then we have a rather large amount of work in front of us."

Mage slowly leaned back, looking around the massive field. All around him, people were completing their tasks, doing everything they needed to make this vision a reality. Mage recalled the moment that he'd put the idea forward to the other leaders. He'd prepared a speech, an entire plan forward, and in turn he'd simply been told they would do what they needed. While they tended to their wounded, mourned their losses, a massive project like this would be the perfect way forward. And now, as he saw all these men, all these people from places that were all over the World, Mage couldn't help but feel a swell deep in his chest.

"Let's get to it!" Mage punched his fists together, causing a ripple in the earth underneath him. With one last smile at his son, Garmadon turned and directed another massive large metallic beam to be raised for Mage to lean over and help with.

With a large flap of powerful wings, the Firstbourne flew through the air. Deep down on the ground beneath her, the deep light of sunset cast her shadow, letting it roll and rise against the hills beneath them. Mage recognized the lands as the rocky and valley-filled spaces of the Time Tribe. He watched them skirt a massive lake that he swore he'd been to at some point, and soon he could even spot the path that would lead to the Time Tribe deep within their lands. He, however, wasn't interested in it.

Soon, the lands began to turn into massive, brown savannah-like fields. The massive rolling mountains gave way to soft brown grasses that barely stretched above the knee. There was little wind to disturb them, making the land almost appear as though it was frozen in some kind of time. There was only one place where people would be to disturb these grasses, and it was the only destination that Mage had in mind.

The Firstbourne knew the location by heart. Soon enough, they came to the massive islands secluded in lakes of boiling, acidic waters. The former home of the Amber Tribes, their buildings long since fallen to ruin, rose before them. Several massive buildings all connected with large ramparts to a large, half-crumbled temple dominated the horizon. The temple was made out of a slightly orange-ish stone, with fading red and yellow paint adorning their surface. Plants had grown into the stone a long while ago, and even now, they hadn't been removed from claiming the structure. Several more small islands had smaller, more house-like structures on them.

One building, however, appeared to have been restored. One of the large, tower-like structures with bridges connecting it to the main temple was oddly clean, the shape restored and new color having been applied to its surface. Windows had even been installed in the slots around it. It was a sight of serenity, oddly, amongst the strangeness of everything else that remained around it.

"Down there, Firsty!" Mage shouted over the wind, petting his dragon's neck. The massive beast gave a large grunt and blinked her eyes at him, then angled her wings to angle towards the tower. She circled it twice, the force almost pulling Mage off and throwing him spiraling into the air. Instead, when she got close enough, Mage leapt off and used a quick burst of wind with navy eyes to land perfectly on the lip of the windowsills on the tower's top.

"Skylar!" Mage shouted. With a blink, Skylar, currently cooking something on a small fire pit, looked up in shock. The shock faded a moment later as she gently moved to open the glass for him with a swift application to control the sand the glass was heated from. The young teen blinked at Mage in confusion.

"Mage? What are you doing here?" Skylar asked, confusion in her words as Mage leapt inside. He landed just in front of the fire, seeing a hole in the ceiling above him the smoke was escaping from.

"You weren't there when we broke ground at the new Summit!" Mage chirped out, "I thought you would be."

"That was… oh!" Skylar looked out the window, "I… kinda lost track of the days out here. Not really anyone here that I can use to help me keep on track, you know?"

Mage blinked. Skylar shrugged, returning to a small black pot hanging over a small flame. She held her hand out and, using her control over amber, caused the flame to rise up and begin to completely work on the bottom of the pot. A sweet smell of meat filled the room.

"Is everything alright?" Mage asked, "You normally don't forget things."

"Uh… well," Skylar chuckled, "I guess I can't hide anything from you right now, can I?"

"I mean… we did… kiss and, stuff," Mage blushed, rubbing his arm, "From what I heard that, kinda means that we're, you know…"

Skylar's face lit up in a deep blush, "You're such a child sometimes, you know that?"

"I am not!" Mage shook his head fiercely, "I just, I just mean that! Y-You know!"

Skylar didn't answer, embarrassed in turn about what she was thinking about. Slowly, however, she saw Mage's concerned gaze poking through his own flustered cheeks. Slowly, Skylar leaned up and ran her fingers through her hair, causing it to fall backwards on her neck and reveal more of her forehead.

"I guess… I met that other one of myself, you know. In the battle," Skylar began, "And, I kinda… was really confused when I actually heard that, uhm… that. You know. All that she's done and, what she hasn't done," Skylar shook her head, "Ugh, I don't know how to actually say all of this!"

"Well… I'm not going anywhere for right now," Mage smiled, gently moving to sit down along with her, "I'm happy to listen."

Skylar, thinking for a rather long while, slowly raised her head, "Well. It's just that… I was on track to really start, rebuilding my Tribe and all that. I'm the last member of the Amber Tribe out there, and… if I don't do anything, it ends with me. I thought that was going to be the biggest thing out there I'd have to handle. But then, we go and we fought in that battle, and it all just…"

Skylar reached up and gently gripped her shoulder, "You know. We were able to do, all of that. We fought the Raiders in… in another World entirely. And won! And that was huge. But, then I think about rebuilding my Tribe and it suddenly… feels so much harder to do. Like, can I even do it? If this is supposed to be so much smaller than defeating the Raiders, then why haven't I been able to make any progress towards it?"

"Because the Raiders, obviously," Mage frowned, "Skylar, you know that you don't have to do this alone, right?"

Skylar slowly looked out the windows, towards the sunset, "I mean… yeah, I know I don't. But, I also don't know what to do right now. If I just stay here then… What should I do? I can't rebuild this entire Tribe on my own, but I don't know… I don't know who would willingly leave their tribes and, come to live with me, you know?"

Mage was silent in thought. The time he took to do so, however, was long enough that Skylar slowly sighed and hung her head in front of him. The deep rays of the sun kissing the horizon burned into the room, slowly reflecting her in a deep darkness.

"I guess, I'm just wondering if it's possible for me to do it. Can I really go and rebuild my entire tribe?" Skylar asked with a wistful gaze towards the sunset, "I really want to say yes, but I also… I also know that it's going to be hard. And if I don't do it right then… what might that mean for my people? Am I… going to be able to…"

Mage moved across the room and gently wrapped his hands around Skylar's own. With a confused glance, she turned to look at him, causing Mage to nod at her and take a deep breath before he gave a long glare at her.

"Skylar… I don't think you should be out here," Mage shook his head, "You shouldn't be living your life alone here."

"I… kinda have to, though," Skylar blinked, "Mage, you know that, I don't have anyone…"

"I mean that nobody should be living alone like this," Mage smiled at her, "What, would you say if I came out here and, lived here with you?"

Skylar's eyes widened to massive saucers, "W...What? You, what are you talking about?"

"I… I think that my dad would approve of it," Mage nodded, "Your Tribe is pretty far out from the Summit, but if I came here and lived with you, people would feel more comfortable moving here. And then, all we need to do is start building up everything, and then maybe… maybe in a few years, we can actually go and… and you know!" Mage smiled, "We could have, an actual full tribe!"

"But… this place is really far out there. I've been hunting for all my food and, I don't even have any traders out here anymore…" Skylar shook her head, "You'd be alone, Mage. You can't do that, just for my sake…"

"I want to!" Mage gripped her hand tighter, a blush on his face, "W-What I said to you. Before we went into that big battle… I-I don't want you to think that I was lying. You mean, a lot to me, Skylar! And… if you're hurting out here, I want to be the one to help!"

Skylar continued to stare at him. Slowly, she felt as though she was leeching heat out of his hand, causing her face to burn with a deep, powerful blush. As the two stared at each other, on their knees in front of a tiny fire, red rays of light painting the two of them there, both of them felt like they wanted to crawl back and hide from some unseen force. However, the longer that Mage remained where he was, he knew he couldn't back up.

"Y-You're just… wow, Mage…" Skylar giggled, "I can't even… you're just so. You really just do whatever you think is right, don't you?"

"I, thought that's how you're supposed to be!" Mage blinked in shock.

"Well," Skylar sighed, "That's, kinda not entirely, you know. I just mean that… I don't know what I'm saying," Skylar gave a weak smile, "If you're honestly serious about living out here with me, I wouldn't tell you no."

Mage gulped, "I-I'm serious about it, I wanna stay with you! I want to help undo what happened to you people and… I want to share my time with you."

The two young teens stared at each other, both trying to figure out what to say to each other. Slowly, however, Mage let go of her hands and, in turn, he moved towards her and sat down beside her instead. He got onto his knees and placed his balled up fists against his thighs, forcing himself to sit upright. Skylar quickly did the same, both of them unsure of how to proceed.

Mage, however, had an idea. Slowly, he turned to face her, a fact which made Skylar stiffen up all over again. With a small gulp, Mage took another deep breath, thinking about how they'd done it the last time. Skylar, realizing what was happening, shut her eyes tightly and awkwardly leaned forward. Mage, knowing it was his chance, slowly did the same, leaning towards her and gently giving her a small kiss.

As the two shared their small moment together, Mage felt a tiny blossom of warmth in his chest. It grew out into every part of his body, hitting his fingertips and toes, his spine and towards the deep parts of his gut. And the more that he felt it, the more he wanted to keep feeling it. But even then, he was doing his best to keep the kiss up for Skylar. She seemed to grow further into it with each passing moment, however.

Eventually, however, Skylar leaned back with a small blink at Mage. When the two slowly opened their eyes, they were both blurry in one another's eyes at first. It was a rather long while until they both realized what was happening, at which point they quickly gulped and looked away from one another.

"T-That was…," Skylar whispered, "I, guess you can stay."

"You weren't going to let me?" Mage asked. Skylar broke out into a tiny chuckle.

"Come here, Dragon Lord," Skylar smiled nervously, "We have a lot of work ahead of us."

Mage nodded. Gently, he leaned forward, and soon the two of them were sharing another small, gentle kiss. In the ruins of a Tribe that had long since faded from memory, the two of them shared their small moment of quiet as the sun finally began the set, and the night could herald another new day for the two of them. The destiny of Dragon Lord and Amber had begun to entwine, and the pain to their future, distant and murky as it was, seemed clear to them for the first time in a long time.
