"Now it's time for the fight you have all been waiting for to begin. And I know you can't wait anymore." After, Miyuki's announcement, the crowd cheered louder than they have ever done this whole time. The other fighters took note of how excited they were. "But first, we will introduce his opponent. A fighter from both the world of pro wrestling and MMA. He has come to show us how much power he has. Standing at 6'5 and weighting 298 pounds, he is a new face to the Kegan matches. Representing the FWW 'The World Eater' Brick Lazor!" Loud rock music played as a very muscular figure walked out with a buzz cut and tattoos all over his body. The man was wearing baggy shorts with fingerless gloves on his hand and bare feet. He took deep breaths while he looked around before fixing his gaze on Miyuki.
"So, this guy is a real beast in the ring?" he asked her. Miyuki looked at him with a smile and nodded back. Then, the lights on the place went off, leaving a single reflector to allow the crowd to see Miyuki.
"And now, the man most of you have been waiting to see. He showed up four years ago and has torn through every opponent that has been put against him. With a record of 295 victories and zero defeats, standing at 6'3 and weighting 234 pounds, representing the Toshio Square 'The Snake Demon' Mamushi Shibo. All the lights returned and loud rock music played as the crowd roared with excitement. Shibo walked out for them all to see. He wore a short sleeve bodysuit that stopped halfway on his upper arms and his hips showing off his muscular limbs, his hands and ankles were wrapped in tape.
"Hmmm, he is pretty popular." Brick said with his arms crossed, watching Shibo walk out. Shibo turned to look at him with his hand flat as one was lower to the ground and the other over his head like he was ready to chop him.
"I'm not one much for talking." Shibo said smirking and Brick smirked back, clenching his fists tightly and getting in a basic boxing stance.
"Me neither." The referee walked up, looking at them with his hand up, sweat was forming on his face when he stared at the two of them for a few moments.
"Ready?" he asked them, looking for a few more moments before throwing his arm down, "FIGHT!" Brick threw a punch, striking Shibo hard in the face, he then moved back when Shibo shot a jab at him.
"It seem i have the advantage in speed." Brick said smiling, throwing a few more punches, striking him into the chest and face, leaving Shibo seemingly off balance from the sudden attack. But Shibo's hand touched Brick's left arm. Brick felt the touch on his arm and instantly jumped back from him. Looking at his arm, he could see a bruise forming on it, leaving him in shock.
Kenji(?) was watching from a training room with his arms crossed. His eyes narrowed, seeing Shibo do the same thing he did earlier during the encounter with Ashai.
"There it is!, but how did he do it?" The young man asked himself, deep in his thoughts about the workings of such an ability and, therefore, its true effects. Kenji(?) gazed at the screen, hoping he could get his answers after seeing it, or help him find out the answer at least.
"T-the hell did you do?" Brick asked, looking at his bruised arm and then glaring back at Shibo, who was grinning with a wicked smile, showing he was not that hurt from all the attacks he took.
"That's my special move, Venom Strike." Shibo said, getting back into his fighting stance, still grinning, "I can touch your body in a way that will pop your blood vessels." Brick gritted his teeth, looking back at him with his hands up.
"So, i just need to avoid your attacks." Brick said smirking. Shibo grinned and launched several jabs at him, Brick ducked under them, throwing a few punches into his chest to make him groan before moving back to keep Shibo on his toes.
"You're stronger than i thought." Shibo said thrusting his hand, Brick leaned back to dodge before striking him in the face with a punch and then taking hold of his head. Brick then slammed his opponents face into his knee, but winced after Shibo's hand come to rest on his knee. Brick moved back, only for pain to shoot through his leg. He looked at a large bruise on his knee. "But that little speed advantage you had is now gone." Shibo said smiling. Brick looked back at him with a serious look, sweat forming on his face while his mind was busy analyzing what he should do. But he didn't have much time to think before Shibo launched towards him, thrust his jabs at him with several aiming at Brick's body.
"You really think I'm helpless?" Brick asked, grabbing one of Shibo's wrists and then slamming his elbow into his face, and then used his leverage to throw him over his shoulder to slam him hard onto the ground. Shibo was stunned after his back hit the ground, then he felt Brick punch him a few times in the chest with all his might before he crossed his arms. Jabing Brick's arms hard, he winced from the pain to step away from Shibo's attack. "Damn it, even one touch throws me off my attacks."
"Yeah, that's the power of my style." Shibo got up and thrusted a jab at Brick, who flinched and moved back only for his hurt knee to buckle under his weight. Seeing this made Shibo smirk wider and thrust his hand a few more times before Brick launched himself towards him. Wrapping his legs around Shibo, Brick forced him to his knee and then slipped his hands into a kimurah lock. The people in the crowd were shocked to see Shibo in the lock. Brick gritted his teeth, pulling hard on Shibo's shoulder to force him to quit.
Brick held it tightly before pain shot through his body with so much force that his grip suddenly loosened and Shibo slipped out. Brick was in shock before Shibo balled up his fist and punched him square in the face, instantly making a concussion form in Brick's head, knocking him out cold. The referee was shocked at the scene. Shibo stood up smiling at his opponent, "You were stronger than i thought you would be."
"T-the winner by knockout, Mamushi Shibo." the referee yelled and the crowd cheered loudly. Shibo lifted his arm up to play to the crowd with a smile. He stopped near the tunnel and turned his gaze towards the top of the area where Taaru was glaring at him with teeth clenched tightly.
"Calm down." Kenta said, putting his hand on his shoulder, trying to calm him down, but Taaru pulled his shoulder away from Kenta's hand and he shot a glare towards him.
"Shut up." Taaru spat out, making him feel pressure he had never felt before. Kenta could only watch Taaru walking off towards the door. The lights turned off and a single spotlight shined onto Miyuki's form, standing in the middle of the area to draw the attention from everyone around.
"Well, with that final match in the history book we have come to the end of the first round of this Tournament." she said, looking up smiling wide at the crowd for a few moments before resuming her speech, "We have seen several intense matches over the last three days and many surprises along the way. Now, sixteen strong fighters have each fought their way to the next round to set up this interesting bracket! 'The Gentleman Fighter' Nigel Gordon vs. 'Kick Man' Norris Cage, 'The Regened' Yaju vs. 'The Roaring Ursa' Taaru Mota, 'The Killer Pacifist' Raj Shan vs. 'The Amazon Brute' Jose Rocha, Abyss vs. 'Straight Fist' Nathan Tradway, 'The Walking Hazard' Kenji Glassman vs 'The Man-Mountain', Ashai Horuto, 'The Berserk Bunny' Alia Schmit vs 'The Conductor of Pain' Seth Adams, 'The War Chief' Hehu Harata vs 'The Bodhisattva of the Open Hand' Osundak 'Osu' Jutarangaban, and finally 'Mount Baektu's Vengeance' Cho Jung-Hwa vs 'The Snake Demon' Mamushi Shibo!" A 3-d bracket flashed behind her and showed pictures of all the remaining fighters that would be competing in the next round. The crowd cheered for the announcement as she added, "The next round will be held in two days to allow them all to rest up and get ready for their matches, so until then, enjoy your stay." The lights died as the area became dark. The other fighters were smiling, getting ready for their upcoming fights.
