PREVIOUSLY-

"Hi, I'm Bella." I said. Leah said nothing, just walked away. Seth stayed though, so I held out my hand to shake his and he took it eagerly. I looked up to see his face and found myself gazing into his eyes as the whole world seemed to have faded away. All I could see was Seth. I could feel the electricity pulsating through our hands where they touched and I could have stayed there, staring into his deep chocolate eyes forever if I hadn't been interrupted.

"So, Bells, what are you planning on making?" I heard Charlie ask as I was pulled out of my reverie. I blinked a few times, not wanting to look away from Seth, but reluctantly turning my head to look at Charlie.

"Um, I think I'll make spaghetti. Easy and feeds a lot of people." I told him, turning to see Seth still looking at me with confusion in his eyes.

"Sounds good. You get started on that; I have a few people to call for Sue." Charlie said, walking off. I turned back to Seth, desperate to go back to wherever I'd been before.

I didn't know what had happened. I knew it must have been some type of wolf thing, but I hadn't heard of anything like that before. Being so captivated by someone, it was like nothing else in the world had mattered.

I looked back up at him, only now realizing that he was closer to me than before, close enough to touch. I found myself reaching out to touch his shirt-covered chest before realizing what I was doing. What was happening to me?

"Seth, why don't you help Bella with dinner?" I heard Sue say from behind me, snapping me out of it again. I swallowed deeply and heard him clearing his throat.

"Uh- yeah, I- I can do that." He said as if thinking too hard about his words. He looked back up at my eyes. "Bella, what can I do to help?" I felt a shiver run down my spine as he said my name as if he were tasting it like a fine wine. Then he smiled and it was so bright and genuine, I thought my heart would explode. I felt like I needed to slap myself, he was only 15 for goodness sake, and I was 18! Guaranteed, he looked like he was at least 19 or older… wait, I really needed to snap back to reality.

"Um, can you just like, find me the ingredients to make spaghetti while I pull out the pots and pans?" I told him, trying to reign in my thoughts.

"Yeah, sure. I'll do anything you want me to." He spoke and it was like I felt it in my bones that he truly meant every word, and not just about helping me cook dinner. I really needed to figure out what was going on.

I went to work on finding the pots, pans, and utensils I needed, all while noticing Sam talking to Jared over in the corner while watching Seth and I carefully. Did they know something had happened or were they just concerned about the possibility Seth phasing in front of everyone? I thought about that for a minute. He was a brand-new wolf, only having phased today. Why was I not terrified at the thought of him phasing uncontrollably? I wasn't even remotely nervous about it. I was scared of Leah phasing, considering she looked so angry, but when I thought about Seth phasing, the only thing I could seem to think about was what his wolf looked like. What color would he be? Would he be big like Jake and Sam or smaller because he's the youngest?

"Bella?" I heard his voice say from behind me. I reeled in my thoughts and turned around to him immediately. "I think I have everything you need, but I don't really know how you like to cook spaghetti, so—"

"Seth, it's alright, what you got out is exactly what I needed. Thank you." I cut him off, seeing him nervous rambling as he scratched the back of his head. "Can you put some water in this pot and turn it on high to get it boiling while I cut up the onion?" He nodded quickly and got to it while I started to cut the onion.

I hated cutting onions because my eyes always watered terribly when I did. I found myself in my head again, thinking of what was happening, confused, but slightly intrigued by it. I felt a sharp pain in my finger, and I looked down to see that I had sliced my finger with the knife. Before I could even hold it up to inspect the wound, Seth had grabbed my hand (not forcefully) and put it under some cold water before wrapping it in a paper towel.

"Hold that, I'll go grab you a band-aid." He said to me, putting my other hand around the paper towel before rushing off. What had just happened? I hadn't even gotten the chance to see any blood (of which I was very grateful, I didn't want to throw up while cooking dinner) before he had it fixed. How had he known I was injured before I even knew myself? Soon enough, he came rushing back in, peroxide and band-aid in hand.

"I'm sorry, Seth, I didn't mean to cut myself, I'm a huge klutz." I told him, trying to keep my mind off of the wound in my finger.

"It was just an accident, it's alright. You're not very good with blood, are you?" I shook my head. "I'll fix you up, you don't have to watch. It's not a bad cut, just a small one."

I smiled up at him gratefully and found myself focusing on his face, watching his eyes as they focused on bandaging my wounded finger. I felt the electricity between our hands again, even as he just held it gently. Why did I feel so connected to Seth now? I literally just met him.

"All done." He said, holding up my hand to show me it was finished. "How about I chop the onions and you start on the rest?"

I agreed and he washed off the knife and began chopping away as I worked on the rest. We worked in tandem the entire time, like puzzle pieces. He seemed to know exactly what I needed, when I needed it, only furthering my confusion.

The whole time we were cooking, Sam was watching us intently. After the food was finally finished and ready to serve, Sam called for Seth to follow him outside. Seth shot a worried glance at me, then followed his alpha out the back door. I felt cold almost immediately at his departure. When he got back inside, I needed some answers.

I told everyone that dinner was ready, and it was decided that everyone would get their own instead of all sitting down at once. Too many things were going on, so it was easier for everyone to eat at their own leisure.

I felt my warmth return as I saw Seth walk back inside with Sam, seemingly nodding at him for some reason. Sam then looked up at me and nodded once with a small smile, then walked back outside. Seth came over and grabbed a plate, piling it high with spaghetti, looking down at me.

"You need to eat, too." He said in a concerned voice.

"I will once I get some answers…" I muttered to him, really needing to know. He took a deep breath and looked back down to me.

"How about this, you eat first, then get answers." He tried to say, but he could tell by the look on my face that I wasn't backing down. "Alright then, grab a plate and come outside with me. We will both eat and get answers at the same time?"

A/N- 2nd chapter, yay! I know it was about making spaghetti, but I feel like it was important to show the intricate nature behind an imprint. They'll literally do anything, including help make dinner. Let me know what you think so far!
