Seattle Grace Hospital

**Message over intercom**

"We need Dr. Shepherd to the Helipad, I repeat Dr. Shepherd to the Helipad"

** Pagers beep in succession"

"Jeez, how many people do they need on this? I heard practically 20 pagers just then." Said Meredith. "I don't know. But I heard it was a priority patient. Hence the helicopter." Cristina replied. "No, actually I heard it was a major bone break. Something around 35 individual bones." Interrupted Jackson. "Why would they have Shepherd on the case then dumbass?" Added Alex. They all rushed up to the helipad. They had all been paged for an enormous trauma. When they got up to the helipad, they prepared for the worst, or best. Cristina took it into her own hands to ask Bailey what was going on. But for once, it appeared Bailey didn't have the answer. Suddenly they heard the spinning of helicopter blades. They were surprised to see it coming down fast, too fast. "Hey um. That helicopter is both smoking, and practically sideways!" Meredith shouted over the sound. All of the doctors dove out of the way as the helicopter crashed abruptly onto the helipad. "This is bad," Alex added. As if it was necessary. "Well? What are y'all waiting for? People need help! Get on it!" Bailey yelled. All the doctors scurried to the rescue. Jackson opened up the helicopter door on the side facing up. When he peeked inside, he was surprised to see Callie laying on her side, unconscious, bleeding. "Uh guys, it's one of ours…"

Callie lay still on a patient bed in the ICU. "She's breathing, but barely." Teddy announced. "We need to do an MRI to see more. Until then, we don't know the real damage." Shepherd added. "Whatever you do, DO NOT mention this to Arizona please." Teddy begged. She knew she would be a little too emotional to handle this. And besides, she should be preoccupied with pediatrics until tonight, she already had plenty on her plate.
