Hunt's team rushed into the nearest available ambulance. It was stocked with any and all equipment they might need. And now it was stocked with some of the best surgeons in the country. If two surgeons were already down, they would have to be super careful with these.

"Hey, be careful and take your time on the road, we don't need anyone else getting hurt today. " Hunt called up to the front as the driver was pulling out of the ambulance bay.

As the Ambulance sped down the highway, the only thing on everyone's mind was what condition both Callie and Arizona would be in after all of the chaos passed. Where would they stand with each other? Almost everyone knew that they had been through some couple struggles recently. It was hard not to notice, they had a tendency to put it on public display. Of course, all of this only mattered if they both pulled through intact.

"Okay crew, let's keep our eyes peeled, Robbins could be anywhere, and we don't want to miss her, she's been out here who knows how long." Avery added, breaking the somber silence that had coated the inside of the ambulance.

Everyone craned their necks to look out the nearest window, determined not to delay their rescue arrival. Suddenly Lexie stood up in a rush. "Stop, wait! I think I see them!" Collectively the group focused in on where Lexie was pointing, they all agreed it looked like it could be the helicopter.

As the ambulance drew closer to the suspected helicopter and accident location, reality sunk in. The helicopter was barely recognizable. It was missing crucial parts and was slightly smoking. It was crisped and the doors were missing. Though they couldn't see the victims from the distance, they could see some of what they assumed to be blood staining the sand and front windshield of the helicopter. Everyone was finally understanding what had gone down.

They had all been eager to save Robbins, and although they still were, they were reluctant to see the damage to the bright, peppy woman they knew before. At least Callie had made it back to the hospital. They weren't even sure if Arizona was even in the helicopter at the crash scene.

As they approached the helicopter, Meredith took the time to prepare herself. She was already traumatized from many various incidents involving her and her friends, so she was determined not to add this one to her list.

Hunt walked up first, carefully approaching the bloody sand. He peeked inside the helicopter and took a heavy relieved sigh. 'Whew, both her and the pilot are in here, they look to have sustained some minor trauma injuries but nothing on the surface seems serious." Everyone smiled, now approaching the area more briskly. Avery cracked a smile, Lexie took a deep breath. But something was wrong.

Meredith walked away, removing herself from the situation. She heaved in quick breaths, trying to catch herself. She was overheating, trying to breathe but not being able to. Then all at once, it stopped. She let tears stream down her face as she came to sit on the side of the road. She tried to pull herself together so she could go help them load up Robbins, but her body wouldn't let her. She sat there, crumpled up, as everything that built up, finally escaped her grasp...
