The next few days went by relatively slow for Oliver. Nyssa made him stay in bed to rest and would bring him food, to prevent him from needing to get up. Every time Oliver tried to get out of the bed or tried to leave, she would hear, due to her honed senses, making Oliver curse her training.

That led to Oliver now wincing in the pain from his chest as he tried to stand from the bed, again. He was too distracted to hear Nyssa enter the room, "Are you seriously trying to leave again, you will only injure yourself further."

Oliver ignored her as she rushed over the help him sit back down on the bed, "You are being reckless, my fathers men will find us eventually and you must be healed by then."

Nyssa sent him a dirty look when he rolled his eyes, "I have to get home to Thea, and Roy, Laurel, Digg, Felicity. I owe it to them to let them know I'm alive."

"No, you don't," Nyssa answered, "Maybe to Thea, but do the other deserve your forgiveness? You are destined to become Ra's al Ghul Oliver, you can't run away from it forever."

Oliver shrugged his shoulders, "Maybe, maybe not. But I owe to to all the people who have fallen because of me to protect Starling City. Just as I owe it to Tommy not to kill."

"As you knew Sarab? I was wondering how you knew his former name." Nyssa questioned.

"I knew him as Maseo, he was my handler when I was forced to work for A.R.G.U.S. and do Amanda Waller's dirty work."

"Ah," Nyssa said as her lip curled up, "Amanda Waller, a woman who seeks the power she can not have. You know if you joined the league we could take A.R.G.U.S. down."

"Not even the League of Assassins has enough resources for that," Oliver scoffed.

Nyssa chuckled, "You must not have the full information on the League then. The League of Assassins would make A.R.G.U.S. look like children. We have existed for centuries, and despite using older weapons, our armour is still impenetrable by bullets, lone shadows could infiltrate and take down governments, we are known as assassins for a reason. The League has thousands of members. She could be dead within a day, and it would be made to look like an accident."

"Good," Oliver answered, "Amanda is a bitch, she deserves to be taken down a few steps."

"You healed with herbs, during your time on the island of Purgatory, did you not?" Nyssa asked standing up.

"Yes a man named Yao Fei, originally healed me with them after he shot me with a arrow," Oliver quietly responded.

"I will get some, the league uses herbs for healing as well, I may have them with me, it will speed up your healing process."

Starling City

Team Arrow was worried, Oliver had left to fight Ra's al Ghul weeks ago, and they had no word. Malcom Merlyn frequently broke into their headquarters to inform them that Oliver was dead, as he was apparently doing now.

"The League has a sacred ground they use to settle matters of blood. Ra's al Ghul had a tradition to leave the blade used in battle on the grounds to honour those who he has defeated. I found this blade there, Oliver would not of known Ra's traditions, he is dead." Malcom said with few traces of sympathy on his face.

"No," Felicity cried, lunging towards Merlyn irrationally, "Oliver can't be dead, he wouldn't leave me."

Diggle stopped her while glaring a Merlyn who just gave them a blank stare and sighed, "Oliver is dead, you can test the blood, but I unable to uncover his body, it fell into a ravine below the cliff."

"We will, now please leave Mr. Merlyn," Roy replied.

Malcom gave them one last smirk that didn't quite reach his eyes before leaving.

The League Fortress, Nanda Parbat

"Al Sayf, do you bring news?" Ra's al Ghul asked, his trusted member from his personal guard.

"Not yet my liege, we have split directions, and have narrowed down only a few more places near the ravine that Oliver Queen and Nyssa al Ghul could be. Nyssa would not have been able to get very far, due to Mr. Queens injured condition." Al Sayf responded evenly.

"I see. I expect news soon then. If you find them regroup with Sarab's squad, my daughter is an experienced fighter, and Oliver Queen could possibly be well enough to fight with her." Ra's al Ghul demanded.

"Yes my liege, we will find the heir soon," Al Sayf replied before Ra's ended the call.

He turned his attention to the other pressing matter, speaking as soon as his other shadow answered, "Al Dhiyb, is Al Sa-her still in Starling City?"

"Yes, he remains in Starling, Master." His shadow answered through the phone.

"Good. Continue to follow him, don't let him sense your presence." Ra's ordered.

"Yes my lord."

Unknown Location

Nyssa had given Oliver some healing herbs earlier in the day and she could already see them at work. Oliver was now able to stand without wincing, but was unable to walk far without his injuries bothering him. It was still an improvement as he gained strength.

"Nyssa I can feel you staring at me." Oliver quipped.

Nyssa rolled her eyes, "I was only checking on your condition. You are healing much faster than I anticipated. We will be able to leave within a few days once you are able to walk, but you are not to fight or do any strenuous activities until you are fully healed."

"Nyssa, I have to get back to Starling eventually. The city needs me, it needs the Arrow." Oliver replied.

Nyssa shook her head sadly, "Oliver you will not be able to return to Starling for long. Once my father finds out you are there, he will hunt for you. You are the prophesied heir of Ra's al Ghul. If you decline, your family will be in danger. Your city has others, and your team does not trust you, what is there for you besides your sister."

Oliver had no response but instead just looked out the window as he shivered, the fire in the room not keeping him warm enough from the biting winds outside.

Nyssa face softened to a degree, "You are cold." She stated as she went to sit on the bed next to Oliver, sitting close to him, careful to avoid his injuries. "You need sleep. Rest I will keep watch, you are cold and healing is taking a toll on your body."

Oliver nodded, already feeling drowsy, enveloped in the warm of another person lying next to him. Nyssa, the one who had saved him from death.

The second chapter is done! The cold part at the end was kind of similar to Shado and Slade.

Just a note if Nyssa and Oliver seem out of character remember they have been together for weeks, Oliver was unconscious for over 4 weeks healing. Nyssa took care of him when he returned from his short death. That forms connections between the two.

A squad from the League is 7 assassins. So they have 14 assassins including Al Sayf and Sarab looking for Oliver and Nyssa.

The team knows of Olivers "death" and Malcom feels guilty.

Ra's is still searching for his heir, and Nyssa and Oliver discuss the league and the team. Oliver as expected is stubborn and tries to leave, but unlike Tatsu, Nyssa refuses to let Oliver leave and get more hurt, she is just as stubborn as Oliver is.
