A Regular Reincarnation

It was the same as every day. I got off school, played some video games, and went to sleep. I got tired of living like this. Yes, it was fun but it is not really fun when you kinda feel you're in a loop… At least TV's do have some cartoons that can ease my mind of future.

As a cartoon, I love Regular Show the most. Yeah, pretty cliche eh? Time to talk about myself before I go to watch "The Power" again. I'm Daniel, 18 years old. Yeah, pretty old eh? That's not where it ends. To be honest, I am completely, completely lazy. I am a whiner, I suck at everything I do. Well, who doesn't? I am worse than that so-called Rigby. He gets better later on but I got my diploma hah! Didn't expect that right? It lasted so many years for me to get a diploma though.

Actually, I forgot to buy some snacks that are to be eaten while watching TV and I can't watch TV without eating snacks so I will eat snacks. No one in this world can stop me. I closed the TV went outside to go to the nearest market as soon as possible.

Phew, that lasted longer than I thought. I just wanted to get some Doritos. No need to insult me when I gave you so much money for Doritos you know, stupid people. I mumbled some words behind the store manager's back, thank god he didn't hear them though. Hahaha.

Anyway time to head home.

As I was going home crossing the road, I did not see the car coming through and the drivers honking. After I realized what happened to my body it was too late.

It hurt like hell. I was in a dark place. Nothing to see. Nothing to look into. I was scared. I am scared. Please let me out. As I was praying from bottom of my heart, something unexpected happened. I slowly opened my eyes to a world somewhat cartoonish? I was laying down on the grass who knows where I am.

I stood up and looked around me, I saw a person who was kinda like Gumball Machine. I think I knew him from a show but that's impossible. He was yelling at some people that I don't know but that I had to guess. Though, that was still impossible.

I slowly went over there and greeted them "Hello, sir" The gumball machine turned over me and I was totally sure this was Benson but how? How? This is kind of like that when you die you're getting isekaid to some universe. The gumball machine replies; "Wait for a second please, I should give those two slackers some talking!" As he pointed out I saw a tall-looking bluebird and a raccoon looking at me the bluebird said while giggling "Dude, he totally looks like you. Is that your twin or something?" The small raccoon probably didn't like that and did a comeback "At least I have a twin when you don't even something" Afterwards he got hit by a blue jay.

I was kind of surprised that he told me that I look like a raccoon. I replied with "I am a human though? Aren't I?" I looked at my hands and gave a small yelp that made blue jay and raccoon laugh "Yeah dude, with that small body, you're totally raccoon" said blue jay while raccoon said, "Don't worry being a raccoon is better than being a human, you probably hit your head somewhere." I gave the raccoon a thumbs up and said quietly "I can eat as much as I want" He giggled silently

I stopped the gumball machine while he was getting ready to insult them again and asked for a job. "Uh, Can I apply here? I always wanted to work at a park but never had a chance. I can help anyone who needs help" Bluebird and raccoon looked in surprise while Benson was thinking "I may get you but what are your talents? What can you do?" I replied "I can rake leaves, take out trash and I can do litter duty also I think I didn't introduce myself I'm sorry my name is Daniel and I like playing vid- Uh, I like helping people" I got scared at the last bit because I almost blurted out something I do all the time the raccoon must have noticed that he giggled while gumball machine was still looking at me.

Gumball Machine turned towards me; "Okay, you're hired but be aware this job has the biggest two slackers possible so you might get tired" The raccoon said silently to the blue jay "It might be three" while blue jay hit him. Gumball Machine continued after looking towards them "Those are Rigby and Mordecai as for me I'm your new boss. My name is Benson. There is Muscle Man, High Five Ghost, Pops, and Skips too but you'll get to see them in the morning meeting tomorrow since they all finished their jobs including those slackers. Also, You have somewhere to stay right? Otherwise, I will give you a room that Mordecai and Rigby are using since the only room is that."

I looked at Rigby and Mordecai and said "I would like to but would that make them uncomfortable? I don't wanna live in the streets man" Rigby and Mordecai consented "It's a cool dude, don't worry" said Mordecai while Rigby "We can play games" I smiled while Benson said, "Okay, that's settled now, see you tomorrow, Daniel."

I sat down and said "Finally done, his talking made me so-" before continuing, I looked behind me and continued "his talking made me sleep" Mordecai laughed and told Rigby "He's literally like you dude, I wonder if he sucks at everything too" I glared at him "HEY! If you're sure I suck at everything why we don't play some punchies?" Mordecai looked at me while Rigby consented "Two versus one though, agreed Mordecai?" Mordecai got a smug smile while he was getting ready. "I'll let you guys hit me first."

I went some steps away from Mordecai hoping that I'll get momentum by hitting him. I got ready while Mordecai laughing "Laugh while you still can" I ran towards Mordecai and was hit with everything I got while screaming aaaaaaaaaa "Hah, how's that he probably fainted or something" I said while looking at my back Rigby was still looking at something. I got curious and asked him "Rigby, what's the matter? Something there?" I heard some laughing behind me "I got so scared that I'm literally rolling on the floors." When I was looking at my back it was too late. He punched me that I was on the ground. "How didn't my tactic work?" I whined rolling over. Mordecai slowly walked over to Rigby "It's your turn now… Come here Rigby" While Rigby screaming "NO WAY"

The Next Day

I was sleeping when someone tried to wake me up as I told them "Five more minutes, mom.." The one who was trying to wake me up groaned and told something near him "Dude, we have to wake him up, we will be late otherwise!"

"Don't worry I got this?" said the person near him a voice I was familiar with as I was opening my eyes something fell on me and I groaned with my eyes fully open. I woke up now "Holy crap. That scared me" As I looked at the source of unease it was Rigby... "Wow, you're pretty early Rigby," I said to him while he was looking at me grinning and Mordecai facepalming himself "Daniel, look at the clock"

I reluctantly looked at my clock and gasped when I took everything off and started to run while those two were shouting behind my back "Dude, wait for us!"

We made it. It was horrible knowing that everything could go bad on day one while I was looking around pacing, Benson made an announcement.

"Someone new is going to join us today Me, Mordecai and Rigby already met him so it is your turn Muscle Man, Pops, Skips, and High-Five Ghost." After that everyone turned towards me in excitement while I got creeped out

The first one to speak was that green man called Muscle Man and it was to ridicule me and Rigby as we are both raccoons. "What is this Rigby, did you bring your son? ?" He was laughing while I was not and Rigby ignored him but in other circumstances, he probably would do a comeback.

Afterward, he said that his name was Muscle Man and blah blah his achievements and blah. My brain filtered most of his words for me and I'm thankful for that.

Before we go further on I need to teach him a lesson about me being a Rigby Jr. "What with those insults Muscle Man, are you five?" I snickered while Muscle Man glared at me while others were oohing.

The next one to meet with me was a man with a lollipop head, which was so big in real life. How does he carry that head around? Anyway, he started to introduce himself to me. "Hello, gentleman. My name is Pops, I work at this Park as you will soon. Here you go, some paycheck before you start the job!" The man who introduced himself as Pops gave me some lollipops that I grabbed it reluctantly. He was smiling all the way through.

There was also a ghost-shaped person flying above me giggling after he noticed I looked into his eyes he stopped laughing and started to introduce himself. "Hey! My name is High-Five Ghost. Nice to meet you. I live on that trailer!" He pointed with his hand when I looked there I had a sour expression because the Trailer was looking it came out from hell. High-Five Ghost noticing this just laughed painfully and said "We're still working on it"

Lastly, there was a big yeti that I haven't met already, he was looking at me reluctantly scanning me through his eyes. I got nervous because his shape was so big that he could beat me with one hand. After he got up and started coming towards me the weird thing was that he didn't even walk, he did do some kind of walking style but I don't even know what's that called.

He came to me and held out his and while saying "I'm Skips, welcome to park and you might need this" He gave me a metal baseball bat "Uhh, what I'm supposed to do with this Skips?" while others were looking at Skips nervously thrusting their heads to the side to side Skips after seeing that gave up and took it from me "You'll understand later." He went to his spot

After that I finished meeting with everyone, Benson spoke up "Well, that concludes everything for now Daniel, you already met two infamous workers on here." Which got a reaction from those two infamous workers. "Hey, Benson! We are doing our job!" After they said that Benson screamed "YEAH BUT YOU ALWAYS DESTRO-" When I was looking at him he stopped but still glared at Mordecai and Rigby.

The thing they're hiding is probably the supernatural things happening but I already know that. Since I got here, I will have to avoid Pops' death since the Universe will end after few years. I have to get ready.

While I was in deep thought, Mordecai and Rigby shook me "Dude, did you already sleep? Benson gave us the jobs, come with us" He smiled at Rigby while saying that which got me suspicious "Uh, sorry I dozed for a sec" replying with this I got up and started following them.
