PREVIOUSLY-
"Do you want to look, or do you want me to look?" He asked me as I stared at the wall. I swallowed nervously and shook my head. I couldn't do it.
He reached over and picked up all three, looking at them all at the same time. I bit my lip as he sat them back down and lifted my chin to look at him. I couldn't tell what it was from his expression.
"Bella, we're going to be parents."
I'm pregnant? I'm pregnant. I'm going to be a mother. I'm going to have a child. Seth is going to be a father. We're going to be parents.
"Bella?" Seth asked and I snapped back to reality.
"We're going to have a baby?" I asked, still unsure.
He motioned to the tests for me to look for myself.

"We're going to have a baby." I repeated, this time as a statement.
"Yeah, starshine, we are." He whispered to me. "We can do this. It might not have been planned and we might be a bit young, but we'll make it and we'll love this baby more than anything."
I nodded to him. I knew we would.
"Our parents are going to kill us." I muttered into his chest.
"They'll get over it pretty quick." He mentioned.
"I guess we need to tell Leah she's going to be an aunt." I told him and he chuckled.
"She knows, she heard us. She's coming down, so be prepared." He replied and opened the bathroom door, leading me back out into our living space.
Leah came down shaking her head with a smirk on her face.
"So, my 16-year-old baby brother knocked you up, huh?" She said.
"Looks that way." I told her with a nervous expression.
"You know, I thought you've smelled different since last week. Kinda figured that's what it was." Leah told me and I looked at her, completely shocked.
"I noticed too, but just thought it was probably more of the wolf side-effects." Seth mentioned and I turned my gaze to him.
"How do I smell different?" I asked curiously.
"Even better than before." Seth muttered happily, so I turned my attention back to Leah for an actual explanation and raised my eyebrows.
"You smell sweeter, Swan, and even more like Seth than before." She explained. "Congrats, by the way."
"Thanks. Any suggestions on how we should go about telling your mom?" I asked her out of desperation.
"Just tell her straight up. First of all, how did this even happen? I mean, I know you guys go at it like rabbits, but I thought you were on the three month shot?" She asked and I picked up the planner and handed it to her. "Oh, that's when you were laid up, wasn't it?"
I nodded. When I'd been healing, getting a birth control shot wasn't even a thought in the back of my mind, then after, Emily and I had been so focused on opening the shop that I didn't think about it.
"I think my wolf might've known something I didn't, you know, that day in the woods?" Seth mentioned to me and I thought back on it.
"You think that's when?"
"I feel like I know that's when. Or more like my wolf knows." He replied. "Spirits, that day you smelled so incredibly amazing, I couldn't keep my hands off you. It was like you were calling to me. I couldn't think straight until after."
"Probably because that was when she was most fertile, dipshit. We are half animal, you know, and our instincts behave the same way a wolf would. Your wolf knew your mate was fertile and decided he wanted pups. Pheromones are powerful shit when it comes to animals." Leah told him with a smack to the back of the head.
"I didn't know that at the time! It's not like my wolf was chanting 'let's get her pregnant' or anything!" Seth replied to her.
"Guys, what's done is done, okay? We've already determined that Seth's wolf and the imprint doesn't care about age, it's all about instinct. He wouldn't have done anything that day if I hadn't wanted it just as badly." I told them both.
"It does that two to tango." Leah smirked. "Listen, I'll be here to help. You know, big sister/auntly duties and all. But you're on your own telling Mom and Charlie. And I suggest telling the pack tonight at the meeting because they'll know if either of us phase."
"I know. We'll tell the pack first, then Mom and Charlie." Seth said before Leah walked back upstairs.
I put my forehead against Seth's chest as he rubbed circles on my back.
"You know, starshine, besides the fact that Charlie's probably going to shoot me with his shotgun, I'm actually really happy. I'm having a child with the woman I love more than life itself. It's what I saw in my vision of our future…" He whispered to me as he continued.
"I thought we were a little bit older in the vision?" I replied as I looked up at him.
"Who's to say that the vision was of our first? It could've been our second or third—"
"Don't get too carried away, we just found out about the first one." I said with a laugh.
"My point is, the vision only showed us parts of the future, not all of it." He explained.
"I know, and I'm happy about it too. Scared as hell, but happy. I did think that we would probably be married first though. Things in our relationship have completely been backwards." I told him with a giggle.
"Well I'm not going to propose right now because then it would look like I did it just because you're pregnant. But you already know I will, and if you want, we can find a way to get married before the baby is born." He whispered to me as he leaned down and kissed me sweetly.
"In order for the baby to be part of the tribe right away, wouldn't we have to be?" I questioned him.
"There's ways around it. I'm not going to push for anything if you don't want it, you call all the shots." He told me.
I already knew that was what I wanted though. I was terrified about the fact that I was only 18 and Seth was only 16 and we were having a child, but I knew we would be okay.
"We'll talk more about it later. So, your last year of school will be fun…" I muttered to him sarcastically. "And no, you're not dropping out."
"Thanks for reminding me, starshine." He grumbled as I laughed. "So if it was that day in the woods, how far along would you be?"
"Well you have to add two weeks to the date of conception, so I'd be what, five and a half weeks?" I calculated. It had been June 20th and it was now July 14th, so that was about right. "I, uh, guess your mom will confirm?"
"Let's worry about telling the pack first before mom. They're going to have a field day with me when they find out. Youngest member of the pack having the first kid." Seth grimaced.
A/N- I couldn't resist. I gave my readers a second chapter of The Right Path today, so i figured I'd be nice and give you a second one too :)
I was 17 when I got married and pregnant (no, it wasn't a shotgun wedding, we found out 2 days after, lol). Now I'm 27 with a 9.5 year old (and an 8 year old, and full custody of a 4 year old). My babies will be graduating high school while some of my classmates will still be having their first, lol. It is a huge responsibility (trust me, I know) but Bella and Seth are so solid in their relationship and Seth's already proved that he can handle huge responsibilities with being part of the pack.
