Alex had just woken up after being in a coma. While he was in the coma he knew Izzie had died. They got in a car accident while headed to Seattle and Izzie had died from it.

Alex woke up but something felt off. He felt like something was different Alex remembered everything that happened until the car crash. Alex looked to his side and grabbed his phone . He looked at the date. Which read 2012, September 8, 6:23 am. Alex squints his eyes in confusion. He gets dressed thinking maybe someone is pulling a prank on him.

As he gets dressed he puts on some clothes he found in the familiar closet. He puts it on as he thinks 'wait this is Meredith house' he thought. Slightly confused. He knew that house like the back of his hand.

He walks out of the room. As he does he looks and sees Cristiana. He just walks downstairs awkwardly. He looks in the living room to see no couch. Alex starts understanding what's going on now.

He remembers his talk with Izzie, and Denny,Lexie, mark and George. He remembers the trade they did. How Izzie gave her life to let Alex live again. Guilt began to rise as he thought of that. He had figured out why it was the year 2012 again. There had to be a important reason to come back, and he knew what it was. It was Jo

She was the reason for him to live. For him and her to have a restart. So he could fix all the stupid mistakes he's made. So he doesn't do those again. For their relationship to change for the better.

So here he was back to being a fellow. But this time he wouldn't be such a jerk. As he arrived at work he got paged for a trauma. He goes down there as he grabs a gown he notices Jo. He tries to remember exactly what he said. Wanting them to meet the same. "Why are you following me?" He grunts trying to hold a smile in. He puts on his gloves arriving outside.

Jo looks at him. "I'm your intern for the day" jo said as she puts on her gloves. Alex looks down then back at Jo. "Hello intern you have a name?" Alex asked even though he knows what it is.

Jo looks at him as she smiles "jo Wilson" she simply answered. Alex looks at her and smiles "nice I like chicks with boys names" he says

Callie looks at alex "karev" she warns. "What I do it's hot" he admits

"She moved her toes with a nearly severed foot" jo says excitedly they walk in the elevator as he notices her standing there. "Wilson aren't you coming" Alex asks motioning her to come in the elevator. Jo excitedly walks into the elevator "yes thank you so much dr. Karev" She says. Alex sends a crooked grin her way mesmerized by her excitement.

The baby was out, and all the girl cared about was her friends party, this made Jo furious. She didn't understand how someone could just leave their baby.

Alex knew this case was hard for Jo. So he went looking for her. He finds her sitting on the hospital bed in the corridor. He walks up to her sits down next to her. "Hey are you okay" he asked. "Yeah I'm peachy Jo sighs as she rolls her eyes.

"You don't seem okay" he says worriedly.

Jo sighs. "You probably wouldn't understand" Jo says looking at Alex.

Alex sighs as he decides to tell her about his childhood. "I'm gonna tell you this, because I feel like I can trust you, ok so my father would be abusive and crap like that, and my mother she has schizophrenia. So I just I don't know" Alex says.

Jo nods with a understanding. "Ok I guess I better tell you about me then, and the real reason I'm upset" she says

Alex nods as a sign that he's listening. He looks at Jo.

"My mother she left me at a fire station at 2weeks old. I was in foster care until I was 16 and started living out of my car,my teacher ms. Schmitt she let me do my laundry there for free, and I would sneak in before class to use the showers" Jo says as she finally admitted her past to him.

Alex nods as he looks at her. All he truly wanted to do is hold her and tell her how much he loved her, but he couldn't do that. That would definitely just freak her out.

I know this chapter was pretty short don't worry I'll start making my chapters longer :)
