The next day I woke up feeling extremely nauseous.

"You okay, starshine?" Seth asked me, sitting up as well. I tried to hold it in, but there was no way. I shook my head and ran towards the bathroom, ending up with my head in the toilet bowl.

Seth came in after me and pulled my hair away from my face.

"Please tell me this won't last long?" I asked him as he handed me a cloth to get cleaned up.

"I can't say I've had any experience with pregnancies, starshine, so I couldn't tell you. Mom can though." He replied, helping me up.

I asked Sue as we were on our way to the clinic for the ultrasound and when she told me it could last for 6 more weeks and that some women had it even longer, I nearly cried.

She determined that I was indeed almost 6 weeks and that our date of conception was spot on. I was officially due March 13th. She printed off some pictures, even though the baby only looked like a tiny little bean. It made it so much more real.

We went back to the house and I started pacing back and forth in front of Seth.

"We've got to tell Charlie today before I lose the nerve and can't do it." I told him.

"Do you want to invite him here, or do you want to go up to his house?" He asked me as he sat on the bed.

"His house. I think he might take it better if he was in his own environment." I muttered.

"Calm down, Bella. Don't stress about it. You know he won't be mad at you, he'll be mad at me." He told me as he grabbed my hand to stop me from pacing and he pulled me into him.

"I don't want him to be mad at you either." I whispered to him with my face in his chest.

"We don't know how he'll react, starshine. Is he off work right now?" he asked me.

"He doesn't go in until 6." I replied.

"Then let's go now and get it over with. You heard mom, the sooner the better." He said, grabbing my jacket and handing it to me.

We drove up to Forks and parked outside of Charlie's house and I took a few deep breaths.

"It'll be fine, Bella." Seth reassured me, but I was worried.

We walked inside with Seth holding my hand the entire time. Once we closed the door, I noticed Charlie sitting in the recliner, watching TV.

"Hey Bells, Seth. What's new? I didn't know you were coming up today." Charlie said as we walked into the living room.

"Can't I just visit my dad for no reason?" I attempted nervously, but Seth squeezed my hand. Sue told us not to tiptoe around it.

"I know that look, Bells. You've got something to tell me." He replied, pushing the footrest of his recliner back into place and sitting up with his elbows on his knees. "Go ahead and sit down."

We walked in and sat down across from him. I twiddled my thumbs for a minute, looking down before Seth spoke up.

"We do have something to tell you, Chief." Seth began.

"Engaged?" Charlie asked, but Seth shook his head.

"No sir, not yet." Seth told him.

Charlie took a deep breath, looking up at us. "I have to admit, son, I thought things were, you know, in place to prevent something like this."

"They were, Dad." I told him quickly.

"Then what the hell happened?" He asked both of us with completely unreadable expression.

"When I got bitten, I, uh, missed my 3 month shot appointment. I didn't think about it at all until yesterday when I threw up at work." I told him honestly. "Emily suggested that it may have been more than just my heightened senses, and she was right."

He pinched the bridge of his nose. "I won't say I'm not disappointed. Seth's only 16. That's too young to have a kid, Bella. But I can't blame you for missing your appointment and not thinking about it. You weren't in good shape for a while. I assume this happened after she was healed, son?"

"Yes, sir." Seth replied, gulping.

"This is my baby girl, Seth. Now I've come to love you like a son, but a child is a lot of responsibility. It's not easy, not at all. Some people say it's only an 18 year commitment, but it's not, it's lifelong too, just like your imprint. You're 16, son. You don't have a job, a house of your own, or even a car. Bella has a truck, but even it's not suitable for a baby. Hell, you're still in high school. Now tell me what you're going to do about all of that." Charlie requested and I looked over at Seth.

"You're right, I am only 16, but I'm committed to your daughter for life, no matter what happens, and you know that. I'm already committed to our child, too. I'll be working for Sam over the rest of the summer to save up some money, and Bella has a stable job. We'll make ends meet. We'll stay at mom's until we have enough money to buy a house, whenever that might be. I'll be honest, I haven't thought about the car situation yet, but we'll figure it out. I'm going to finish school and the pack has offered to help Bella while I'm in school once the baby is born." Seth explained to him.

"I'm not happy about it. That much should be obvious, but I can't do anything about it now. What's done is done. Does Sue know?" Charlie asked.

"Yes, sir. We told Mom last night." Seth told him. Charlie nodded.

"And what did she say?"

"She said that she'd hoped we would have waited until further down the road but that she wasn't exactly surprised with Bella being my imprint and all. My wolf has different instincts than I do and Bella's my mate. Neither my wolf or the imprint takes things like age or other situations into account. It's all about instinct." Seth explained to him.

"So you're telling me your wolf had something to do with this, son?" Charlie questioned.

"It was my wolf instincts, Charlie. I didn't even know that's what it had been until yesterday when my own sister had to explain it out for me." He told Charlie honestly.

"Animals do things differently, Seth." Charlie grunted.

"Like I told Mom, I know that now. I didn't think about it then. All I could think about was—" Seth cut himself off quickly with a reddened face. Charlie gave him a pointed look and he swallowed nervously before continuing. "Anyways, the point is, I love your daughter and I promise that I'll take care of her and the baby."

"I expect things to be done the right way before the baby comes." Charlie stated to Seth.

"Dad! We're not having a shotgun wedding just because I'm pregnant. When we get married, it'll be because it's the right time and when we want it to happen. All of us know that it will happen, so don't pressure things. We're not in the 19th century anymore." I told him, irritated.

"I just don't want to see my grandkid born out of wedlock, Bells." He said to me defeatedly.

"Don't worry, Charlie. I have a plan." Seth told him, making me look over at him with wide eyes. Charlie's eyebrows rose too.

"Listen, I'll try to help you with the car situation. And I expect the both of you to be a lot more cautious after this one's born. Try to wait a few years before you have another. One is one more than a 16 year old needs, so don't be adding more to that any time soon." Charlie told us and I felt a heavy weight lift off my shoulders.

"Understood, Charlie." Seth told him, knowing that it wasn't up for debate.

"Thank you, Dad." I said as I stood up and rushed over to give him a hug.

"Now when will my grandkid be born?" He asked gruffly as I pulled away. Seth wrapped his arm around my waist as we both looked at Charlie.

"My due date is March 13th." I told him with a smile, happy that he took it as well as he had.

"Better not go past that date, Bells, March madness will be on." Charlie said completely serious and I burst out laughing.

"I'll try, Dad, but no guarantees." I laughed. "Oh, and we heard some interesting news from Sue last night. Don't ask how we got on the topic, but Seth and I were pretty surprised."

"And what would that be?" Charlie asked curiously.

"You two used to date." I stated. Charlie's face went bright red and he nearly spit out the beer his was drinking, opting to half choke on it instead.

"She, uh, told you that?" He asked cautiously.

"Yep. She said the two of you dated before she met Harry and you met mom. So, is it true?" I questioned.

"It's true alright." He muttered, seemingly trying to keep something under wraps.

"How long, Dad?" I questioned even further, wanting to know.

"Bells, that's not really relevant…" he tried, scratching his head.

"How long?"

"Fine. 2 years. We started dating when we were 15. Are you happy now?" He told me. I looked over at Seth with wide eyes. They'd dated for two years?

"On that note, why don't we go back home, starshine?" Seth asked me and I nodded, considering I was speechless.

"You better take care of my girl, son." Charlie told him, holding his hand out to shake. Seth shook it and guided me out to my truck.

On our ride home, I thought about what Charlie had told me.

"Two years?" I asked Seth. "When your mom said that they dated, I figured she meant like a high school fling like a few weeks or something, not two years!"

"Calm down, starshine. Everyone has a life before they get married, well, other than me. But you get the point." Seth told me.

"I know, I was just surprised, I guess." I muttered to him. "So what's this plan of yours?"

"It wouldn't be a surprise if I told you." He winked at me. I was intrigued.

I was relieved that Charlie, Sue, and the pack all knew now and that everyone was understanding of our situation, even if they weren't quite happy about it.

A/N- Everyone knows now! Yay!

This is pretty much how my dad reacted to me being pregnant at 17 (even though I was already married-for two whole days- when we found out).

There will be a few time skips coming up (especially since the main danger is over). So be prepared!
