The next two months flew by way faster than I'd expected and before I knew it, it was time for Seth to start going back to school.

He'd begun hearing our baby's heartbeat only a week after we found out and was completely overjoyed by it. I could faintly hear it, myself, a few weeks after that.

I was now 14 weeks pregnant and I'd started showing within the last two weeks. My bump was still small, but definitely noticeable to Seth, who couldn't get enough of it. Something he said was wolf related.

My morning sickness had stopped around the 10-week mark, which I was super grateful for.

My business with Emily was flourishing and we had several normal clients. Our shop was one of the most popular on the res and I was so happy doing something I loved so much. Our donuts and muffins were our best sellers in the morning and a lot of times we were sold out by noon. We were only open until 3pm though, so that we'd have plenty of time with our own imprints.

Charlie had been looking at cars for us over the past few weeks, but still hadn't found the right one yet. I was so thankful that he agreed to help us look for a car, especially since Seth had finally gotten his actual driver's license now.

There hadn't been any sightings of vampires the whole time and I was so beyond happy about it because it kept Seth's patrols short, giving him more time at home.

After Seth's first day back at school, I got off work and picked him up.

"How was your first day back?" I asked him.

"Not as fun as being home with you, starshine." He told me as he leaned over and kissed me.

"Did anyone say anything?" I asked him, pointing at my belly.

"No, I don't think they know yet." He responded. I had worried about what his classmates would say once they found out he was going to be a father at 16.

"It won't be long before they start noticing." I muttered.

"Hey, I don't care what they think. I love you, I love our baby, and that's all that matters. Not to mention you know I love seeing the proof of it." He said as he placed his hand on the small swell of my stomach.

Two weeks later, at 16 weeks, I felt the baby move for the first time. It had been as I was waiting to pick up Seth from school and he immediately saw my elation as he walked out to the truck.

"What's got you so excited, starshine?" he asked me with a smile as he kissed me.

"I just felt the baby move for the first time. It feels like a flutter." I told him happily.

"Really?" He questioned, reaching over to feel my even more rounded belly.

"You might not be able to feel it for a wh—"

"I can feel it, starshine." He said excitedly, reaching over to put both of his hands on my stomach. "You forget I have wolf senses. I can actually feel it."

He could feel the same fluttering that I could, and I was beyond happy. I could feel his happiness about it as well, but I also felt an undercurrent of slight annoyance and I knew it wasn't directed toward me.

I could see some of the students pointing toward the truck and whispering to each other and I knew what that meant.

Seeing as we were still in the school parking lot, I rolled my window down so that my own heightened hearing could pick up on the chatter of the parking lot.

"Did you hear that Seth Clearwater is going to have a kid? He's only 16!"

"I heard that's why he's graduating early."

"Who even is that girl he's dating? I heard she's 18 and already graduated."

"Yeah, she runs a bakery here on the res with Emily Young."

"You know they live together? Seth and his girlfriend?"

"And she's like already showing so she must've gotten pregnant early in the summer."

I turned to Seth after rolling my window back up.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked him with my eyes narrowed.

"I didn't want you to stress out about it. It's just gossip. It'll die down soon. Jake, Embry, and Quil are trying to smooth it out already." Seth responded.

"Gossip that's true." I muttered to him.

"I don't care about it, Bella. We both knew it would happen eventually. You know what we can do about it?" He asked me and I looked at him, intrigued.

"What can we do about it?" I asked.

"Show them that it's all true." He suggested. "When you come pick me up tomorrow, wear something tight and stand outside of the truck waiting for me. I'll handle the rest."

"You're sure that's a good idea?" I questioned.

"What's a better way to stop the gossip than answering everyone's questions at the same time? Then they'll have nothing to talk about." He told me proudly.

"It might make it worse, but if you're okay with it..." I told him with a laugh.

"I am, now let's drive down to the beach." He said and I turned on the truck, driving down to the beach.

It was still warm outside, being in late September, so I took off my shoes and rolled up the bottom of my maternity jeans (that I'd already had to resort to) while we walked down on the beach.

Seth held my hand as we walked down to the end of the beach where there weren't any people and I stopped, looking out at the waves as they crashed. I'd never been so relaxed as I watched the water. Seth wrapped around me from behind, resting his hands over either side of my bump and resting his head on my shoulder.

"You know I love you more than the universe, starshine." He murmured in my ear.

"I love you too, Seth, always." I muttered back to him.

"Marry me?" He whispered. My eyebrows rose and I turned around immediately to face him. I definitely hadn't been expecting that, at least not at this exact moment.

When I turned around, he was holding a ring and looking right into my eyes.

"Really?" I asked him, still unbelieving. He nodded with a smile. "YES!" I said, flinging myself into his arms. He slid the ring onto my finger, kissing me.

He then picked me up and swung me around carefully, putting me down before placing both hands on either side of my face and kissing me about a thousand times.

"So this was your plan?" I asked him curiously.

"My plan since the day we found out you were pregnant was that I would propose the day that we felt the baby for the first time." He told me, pushing a piece of hair out of my face.

"Does my dad know?" I asked him curiously.

"How do you think I got this, starshine?" He asked, holding up my hand so that I could look at the ring closer.

It was beautiful but simple. A single pear-shaped diamond on a silver band that looked familiar to me.

"Is this my gran's ring?" I asked him incredulously.

"It is." He told me as he spun me back around so that he could hold my belly while he kissed my neck down to my mark.

I inhaled sharply as I always did when he kissed my mark and felt a rush of heat to my nether regions.

"Home. Now." I told him breathlessly.

"You got it, starshine." He told me, pulling me back down the beach smiling as we ran through the water, kicking and splashing each other.

After our post-engagement escapades, we called Charlie to come down for dinner with us, Leah, and Sue.

As we sat around the table, Leah was the first one to notice my ring.

"No way, he finally popped the question?" She nearly shouted.

Both Charlie and Sue looked at my hand and smiled.

"'bout time, son. You've only had the ring for a month now." Charlie replied with a chuckle, causing me to raise one eyebrow at Seth.

"Had to wait for the right time." Seth replied proudly.

"And what was the right time, Seth?" Sue asked him curiously.

"We felt the baby move for the first time today." Seth told them happily.

"I want to feel!" Leah said quickly.

"The baby isn't moving right now, but I'll tell you when they are." I told her.

"Well congratulations to you both." Charlie said to us. "So before the baby or after the baby?"

"Dad! We haven't even talked about dates yet!" I gritted out.

The next day came quickly and I pulled up to his school, taking a deep breath as I got ready to do as he'd asked me to.

I'd worn a tight long sleeve t-shirt that showed off my belly pretty well, which was actually one of Leah's from high school, with Clearwater clearly written across the back.

I opened the door of the truck and got out, closing my door and leaning up against it as I heard the bell ring. As they all started coming out of the school, I could hear the whispers.

"Omg, Seth's girlfriend really is pregnant!"

"Clearwater's going to be a dad?"

"Look at that ring on her finger!"

Then I saw my imprint coming out and walking right toward me. He put his backpack down next to my truck and picked me up, spinning me around before kissing me in front of them all.

He then dropped to his knees and pressed a kiss to my belly before standing back up and kissing me again.

"How is my fiancé and our little one today?" He asked me, just loud enough that the others could hear.

"Better now that you're here." I told him with my arms around his neck as he held either side of my belly.

"Omg it's totally true! They're engaged and the baby is his!"

"You have to admit they look adorable together."

"Her shirt says Clearwater, are they married already?"

"I would've had his kids too! 16 or not, he's totally smokin'!" I laughed at that one.

"I still can't believe he's going to be a dad at 16."

"Dude, the chick that he knocked up is pretty hot." Seth growled at that comment.

"Are they going to get married while he's still 16?"

"Let's go, starshine. I think they've had enough show for today." He told me as he kissed the spot behind my ear.

"Damn, that was really hot. Did you see the way he—"

We climbed into the truck and he drove me back home as we both laughed the whole way.

"I have to admit, that was totally worth it." I laughed.

The pack had a field day when Quil told them about what we did, considering he'd watched the whole thing, but they were all so happy that we got engaged.

A/N- So there's some time skips, obviously. I'm not going to drag her pregnancy out, just hit the major milestones, because I want to show Daddy Seth in this story :)
