It was a nice sunny day in Vista Verde. There were no crazed super villains running about, no giant monsters on the lose, and no world ending threats from space. Everything was peaceful. It was so peaceful that the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. decided to take a trip to the beach. The smashers grabbed their beach gear, Jen put on a one piece, and the team loaded up in the Jump Jet and headed out.
Several miles away a large supped up truck with tinted windows stopped near the coast. The doors opened up and out hopped the four members of the Street Shark. Ripster, Jab, Streex, and Big Slammu got out to stretch their limbs and to look at the sea. The Street Sharks were on a mission to locate their archenemy Dr. Luther Paradigm, who recently been freed from prison by his evil Seaviates. Paradigm and his minion had boarded a highly advanced jet and had fled the prison complex and the Street Sharks were determined to recapture him and throw him back in prison. Reports from local authorities had lead the Street Sharks to this part of the world, but the trail had gone cold. Ripster was annoyed, so Jab decided to cheer him up.
"Hey bros, check this out!" Said Jab before he ran towards the water and did a cannonball.
This lifted Ripster and the others and they all dove into the water for a swim. The Street Sharks swam out to the ocean with ease and went deep underwater. Since they all had gills they didn't need to worry about coming up to the surface for air. The Street Sharks were enjoying themselves, when they took notice of several humanoid figures swimming far below them towards shore. It was a large group of Atlanteans lead by Attuma. The Street Sharks had never faced the Atlanteans, but they know about them from the news broadcasts about the Avengers. Whatever Attuma was up to it wasn't good. The Street Sharks swam after the Atlanteans.
The Agents of S.M.A.S.H. were hanging on the beach playing a game of volleyball, when other beach goers began to suddenly began screaming and pointing at the ocean. Hulk turned and a scowl appeared on his face as he saw Attuma leading a small army out of ocean.
"Surface dwellers today you shall be conquered!" Declared Attuma.
"Not likely fish face!" Boomed Hulk as he charged at Attuma and the two began to exchange punches.
The rest of the smashers began to attack the army and the Street Sharks rose out of the water and began to attack the army from behind. Atlanteans were sent flying by blows given by both the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. and the Street Sharks. Ripster fought his way to Hulk and Attuma. He reached the two combatants and delivered a punch to Attuma's face knocking him back. Attuma looked Ripster in shock and surprise.
"What madness is this? Who are you?" Demanded Attuma.
"I am a Street Shark!" Declared Ripster.
"You're a traitor to the ocean!" Yelled Attuma as he punched Ripster knocking him to the ground.
"Leave him only!" Yelled Hulk as he punched Attuma and knocked him to the ground.
Hulk then helped Ripster to his feet and then the two of them charged forward together at Attuma and delivered a combined punch to the villain. Attuma was sent flying through the air and he skipped a few times across the ocean before sinking beneath the water. The Atlanteans saw this and fled into the sea. The smashers and the Street Sharks whooped and gave each other high fives.
"Man I can't believe we just teamed up with the Hulk and his team!" Said Jab excitedly.
"So who are you guys?" Asked Jen.
"Oh I know who theses guys are. They're the Street Sharks!" Said Rick.
"Street Sharks huh? Well thanks for your help." Said Hulk.
"What brings you here to our part of the world?" Asked Red.
"We're tracking our archenemy, Paradigm." Said Ripster.
"Well why don't you come to our back to our base and we can see about helping you." Said Rick.
"Sounds like a plan to me." Said Jab.
"Alright we just need to go get our truck and then will head to your base." Said Ripster.
"Awesome." Said Rick.
The Street Sharks headed into the ocean and swam away.
To be continued.
