Chapter 2 Opportunities

Out in a desert in New Mexico there was a large series of tunnels and caves. One particular cave was serving as a base and hideout for Paradigm and his Seaviates. The cave housed the jet Paradigm and his minions had escaped in and a makeshift lab and living quarters. Slash, Slobster, and Shrimp Louie were outside the cave installing alarm sensors and defensive systems, Repteel was making sure that all the lab equipment was fully powered, and Killamari was helping Paradigm setup some computers and lab equipment.
Paradigm sat in front of a computer screen reading a news article about his fall from grace. Not too long ago Paradigm had been a highly respected scientist that had a great public image. He had used his genius and image to make himself look like a hero and the Street Sharks look like villains. Paradigm had dreamed about mutating the human race into his own ideal version of perfection and ruling over the world. He had been close to accomplishing his plan on several occasions, but the Street Sharks always managed to foil his plans. The repeated failures kept piling up and Paradigm's rage and hatred for the Street Sharks grew and grew. On one particular big failure Paradigm had lost his cool in front of a crowd of people who saw his piranha mutant form. Paradigm was exposed and later captured and thrown in jail. He had escaped due to the help of his minions, but now he was on the most wanted list of SHIELD and several other law enforcement agencies in the world.
The thought of his current situation made Paradigm's blood boil and it caused his mutation to act up. Paradigm stared at his mutated face in a computer screen and took a deep calming breath. His face returned to it's normal human self and Paradigm went back to thinking. Paradigm's situation wasn't ideal, but his new position gave him some brand new opportunities. He no longer had to worry about maintaining a good public image now he could focus on concurring the world and destroying his enemies once and for all. Paradigm was one of the smartest people on the planet and there were ton of people and organizations that would pay handsomely for a man of his talents he began to look up the various criminal organizations of the world. There was the Hand, A.I.M., the Maggia, the Serpent Society, U.L.T.I.M.A.T.U.M., Zodiac, and many more. Paradigm's eye landed on the insignia of Hydra and he immediately knew which organization he needed to get in contact with.
"Soon I will have my revenge on you Street Sharks." Vowed Paradigm to himself.
