Twenty Years Later-

"Now this is the life, starshine." Seth said to me as we relaxed on the black sand beach watching our children playing in the water with their own children and spouses.

"Mhmm, it is." I replied, letting my pores soak up the sun while it was a rare non-rainy day.

"Bro, have you seen Kai?" I heard Paul ask Seth, walking up to us from further down the beach. Kai had been his second child with Rachel, two years after Fiona had been born.

"I saw him take off with Lena into the woods about 30 minutes ago." Jared responded from his seat beside us.

"The woods?" Seth asked him with his eyes wide open.

"Damn, my boy's moving just as fast as I did with Rach." Paul replied proudly.

"That's my baby girl you're talking about!" Seth yelled at him.

"She's 19, Seth. By 19 you had three kids already." I reminded him.

"Hey, I can't help if my son imprinted on your daughter." Paul said, holding his hands up in defeat.

The spirits had decided there was a need for a new generation pack, considering the recent amount of nomads passing through and subsequent missing persons cases.

Sammy had been the first to phase, thus making him de-facto Alpha, just as Sam had been. The newest pack were older than the last one though. Sammy had already been 21 years old when he first phased and he had imprinted on Fiona right after it happened, which Paul was furious about.

Our Mia was second and she was Sammy's beta. She had imprinted on Jared's son Josiah right after she had phased, causing him to phase as well and subsequently imprint right back on her.

Harry was third to phase only two months ago, followed a month later by Paul's son Kai, who had immediately imprinted on our daughter Lena.

"Hey man! Look who decided to come in from college this weekend?" Embry said as he walked up with his daughter, Naya.

Embry didn't ever imprint, but he married a girl named Ashley who had passed away during childbirth, leaving Embry to raise Naya by himself. She was 19 years old was doing her 4th semester of college in Port Angeles.

"I'm going to go say hi to everyone, Dad." Naya told Embry before running off to where all of our children were.

"Hey Naya—" I heard Harry say as he waved her over, stopping halfway through with a dumbfounded expression on his face.

"My daughter?" Embry groaned as he watched the interaction. "Come on, man, she's the only one I got, and she's only 19! Harry is 22."

"I was 18 and Seth was 15, Embry, just remember that." I told him as we watched Naya go right up to Harry and kiss him.

"Wait, did I miss something? Imprints don't usually work that fast." Seth asked, watching our son with his new imprint.

"You guys seriously didn't know they've been dating for like five months?" Kim asked as she walked up and sat next to us.

"Five months? Why didn't Harry say anything?" I asked.

"No clue, but it looks like it'll be a lot longer now." Kim replied, shaking her head as she looked at them. Harry was swinging Naya around in the water as she laughed.

"So where's our oldest granddaughter?" Kim asked me, popping a grape in her mouth as she handed me some too.

"Mia has Sophie over there looking for shells with Josiah while she's feeding Nina." I told her.

I still couldn't believe I had a 3-year-old granddaughter, along with a newborn granddaughter.

Mia was 24 and married to Josiah Cameron. She'd had to stop phasing while pregnant but had phased in between the two.

"Are we late to the party?" Leah asked as she walked up, holding hands with her husband who was none other than Jacob Black. None of us had seen that one coming… at all.

"Come sit, Lee, we're just relaxing the day away." I told her, patting the spot on the other side of me.

"Have you guys seen Sammy?" Fiona asked, walking up toward Paul with her son, Levi.

"He's on patrol with River, baby girl." Paul told his daughter, kissing her on the head. River was Leah and Jacob's son.

"Can you take Levi, Daddy? My feet are killing me and he keeps wanting to run into the water." Fiona asked him. She was about 7 months pregnant with Sammy's second child.

"Here, Fi, I can take him. We'll go for a walk." Emily said from her spot behind me.

Out of nowhere we heard an unfamiliar howl, followed by two others. I knew the two others were Sammy and River.

"Another new wolf. Who's not here?" Sam asked from behind me as well.

I looked around at the group of us.

"Quil. Him and Sarah were getting back from their vacation today and they had Six with them." I told them all. Quil's son's name was actually Quil Ateara VI, but we all called him Six.

"Here Daddy, duty calls." Mia said, walking up with Nina and handing her to Seth before turning to the woods. "Josiah is going to stay with Sophie but they're too far down the beach for me to do a hand off." Then she took off to the woods.

"There must be another nomad nearby for Six to phase." Seth said as he rocked our baby granddaughter.

We waited for about 45 minutes until Mia came back with a confused look on her face.

"Mom, does the name Cullen mean anything to you?"
