Chapter 13 Arrival

Spider-Man swung from building with Killamari and the other villains in hot pursuit. Every now and then Spider-Man would twist around and shoot some webs and insults at the villains to keep them focused on him and away from civilians. Spider-Man knew he couldn't take all the villains on at once and he needed to take them to a wide open space to take his enemies down one by one. He saw Central Park up ahead and headed towards it. Spider-Man jumped over the fence, while Killamari and the others just smashed their way through it and chased after the hero.
"Let's play hide and seek! I bet you creeps can't find me!" Called Spider-Man as he disappeared into the trees.
"Split up!" Ordered Killamari to the other villains.
The villains split up and began to search for Spider-Man. Shrimp Louie was stalking around some trees holding his laser cannon, when he heard some noise from above and fired his cannon up at the trees, only to have some tree branches fall on top of him and daze him, before Spider-Man came swinging in and delivered a kick to his chest and knocked him to the ground a few yards away.
"There you are!" Snarled Slash as he charged at Spider-Man.
Spider-Man leaped over the charging Slash, who ended up crashing into a tree that fell right on top of Shrimp Louie pinning him to the ground.
"Help!" Cried Shrimp Louie.
Slash charged at Spider-Man, who dodged out of the way and Slash ended up slamming his nose into a rock and getting it stuck. Spider-Man was fixing to move on, when his spider senses went off and he barely dodged a blast of lightning from Repteel. He looked around and saw the other villains arrive on the scene and helped free Shrimp Louie and Slash before turning their attention to him.
"You're done." Said Killamari.
"I think not." Said Spider-Man looking up at the sky.
The villains looked up in time to see a jet flying in and the smashers and Street Sharks jump out and land a few yards away.
"Looks like the heavy hitters have arrived." Said Spider-Man as he leaped high over the villains and landed next to the other heroes.
The smashing was about to begin.
