The skittering sound of Scroops spider-like legs in the snow sent an uneasy shiver down Jims spine as the trio of pirates finally came into view. Much to his relief, both Merry and Hands seemed to shrink slightly, seeing Silver standing on his own and looking at them, Scroop on the other hand only narrowed his eyes with a soft, menacing hiss. Even with his back turned to Jim, the human boy could see the red light of his eye reflecting off the snow.

"Well, isn't this a surprise." Scroop hissed. "I thought you were in a bad shape, Silver…"

"I got better." Silver chuckled, his voice soft but deep. Jim swallowed as he stood behind the large man, the knife tight in his grip. "Now I know Amelia don't trust you louts enough to send ye after the boy, so am I right to assume that ye went ahead and mutinied without me?"

The Pirates all frowned, clearly eyeing Jim as Silver spoke openly about the coup. John chuckled and eyed Scroop, his organic hand clenching. The large pirate stepped forward out in to the cold wind, looking down at the spidery alien with a hard glare.

"Ye always have been a power grubbin lout, Scroop." Silver's voice was a dangerous growl. The other two aliens shuddered and took a step away, Hands looked down right meek. Scroop swallowed, clearly nervous knowing the Ursid was up and, seemingly, well. Scroop looked like he was about to say something, but Silver moved first. His hand, lightning fast, reached out and grabbed the Mantavor around the throat, lifting him off the snow. Jim stepped away, his heart racing at the sight of it, he had never seen Silver be out right violent before...not like this.

"Now, Scroop." Silver snarled. "I will give yeh one warning, and one alone. You will fall in line and do as yer told. You pull a stunt like this again, I'll throw ye overboard and watch ye fly away. Are we clear?"

Scroop scrabbled in the Ursids large hand, legs kicking frantically as he tried to pull Silver's fingers apart, gasping for air. To Jim's surprise, Scroop nodded frantically. The Mantavor collapsed when Silver finally let go, gasping for air desperately as he rubbed at his throat. The results were clear as day to Jim. Without skipping a beat, shirtless and wounded out in the snow, Silver had instantly regained control of the ship.

"Jimbo." Jim jumped slightly as Silver addressed him. He looked up away from the gasping Scroop to see Silver holding a hand out to him. Jim swallowed and nodded, moving forward.

As soon as he was able, Silver wrapped his arm around his boy, pulling him close against his side, tightly. Jim felt his face burn at the rather public display of affection, but didn't say anything. He just watched as Silver eyed his crew, apparently communicating silently as to what was going on. Jim saw Hands and Merry nod from his peripheral vision.

"Now that that's all cleared up." Silver huffed, glaring at Scroop again as the alien worked back to his feet. "Tell me what's going on onboard. What did you lot do with the others?"

"The other three are in the brig." Merry said, seemingly anxious to get back on Silver's good side. "They aren't hurt though."

"I see." Silver nodded, his free hand rubbing his chin thoughtfully. "And the map?"

"Well, um…" Merry glanced back at Scroop, who let out a deep hiss before reaching in to a pocket and pulling out the golden orb. Silver smirked and swiped it from the aliens claw.

"We can't open it though." Hands said, his deep rumble of a voice sounding so meek it was almost funny. "The Captain lady said only the boy knew how to open it."

"Is that so?" Silver hummed and glanced down at Jim, holding the sphere out to him. "Jim?"

"Yeah." Jim nodded, taking the sphere from Silver. Silver slid his hand off of Jim's shoulder, resting it instead on the small of his back as Jim moved his fingers over the sphere until it opened. The pirates gasped as the map opened, showing their current location. Jim reached out and pressed his finger against the small holographic planet before it began to move, tracking the rest of their course to Treasure Planet. Silver chuckled, his hand wrapping around Jims waist and pulling him into another side hug.

"Looks like we're about a week away, what with all the course changes that had to be made." Silver mused aloud. "Lets get back to the ship, lads."

Hands and Merry gave small cheers as Jim handed the map back to Silver, who placed it in a pocket. Scroop mumbled but said nothing as the group started making their way back through the snow to the longboat.

Between Hands and Silver, the small boat was very crowded. Jim had to sit on Silver's lap, which he wouldn't have minded had the other aliens not been there, and Merry was on Hand's shoulder. Scroop sat between the two larger aliens, his claws clenching and unclenching as he shot glares at Jim whenever Silver's eyes were averted. The trip back to the ship seemed to take forever. When they did finally arrive, Silver took Jim by the arm and ordered Scroop and Hands to secure the longboat as Merry followed them out onto the deck.

As soon as the crew saw Silver, a weight hung over the ship. They all averted their eyes, as if ashamed as he passed by, practically dragging Jim along beside him. Silver stopped in the middle of the ship and let out a sigh before addressing the crew.

"I aint gonna mince words." He said sternly. "I'm still the Captain here and I expect ye all to work double to make sure ye stay in me good graces after the little stunt you all pulled."

The pirates instantly nodded, mumbling apologies. Jim was baffled. Before all of this Jim had thought the crew all looked mean and rough, but they all acted like children around Silver. And Silver, who had seemed strict at first, was just a jolly cook who could tell stories and teach him how to actually work on a ship. Then he was the weirdly affectionate...lover? Jim still wasn't entirely sure what their relationship was now. But seeing the fat old man take charge and scare an entire crew into submission with just his tone of voice and general demeanor was...terrifying.

"And one last thing." Silver boomed over the crowd again, holding Jim against his side. "This lad is off limits, ye hear me? He belongs to me and if I so much as suspect one of you lot of so much as mutterin about him, we're gonna have some problems. Am I clear?"

"Yes Captain!" The crew nodded or saluted, whatever the individual wanted. Silver gave a nod and the crew instantly jumped back in to work. Silver reached out to Dogbreath as he passed by, getting his attention.

"Have the prisoners been fed yet?" He asked, voice low but no less authoritative.

"Not yet, Captain." The alien said, shaking his head. "I think Turnbuckle was gonna make somethin and send em their scraps."

"Tell Turnbuckle to take the helm. I'm gonna go settle in to me new cabin and get a better look at the map." He ordered, "You whip up some grub for the men and the prisoners. Let me know once its done, before ye send it to em."

"Aye aye Captain." Dogbreath gave a salute and scurried away to talk to Turnbuckle, Silver turned to Jim.

"Go get me stuff from me old hammock." He said, his voice slightly softer but maintaining the era of control. "And get yer own as well, an hurry up to the Captains Quarters."

Jim swallowed and nodded before Silver finally let his hand off of Jims back and started making his way to the cabin. Jim let out a breath and hurried to grab their stuff, hauling both of their bags over his shoulders before making it to the cabin.

Jim stepped into the cabin to see Silver sat in a chair, looking at the map as it sat on a table. The Ursid was looking pale, his shoulders were stiff. Jim frowned a bit and carefully set the bags down, closing and locking the door, and making his way over to Silver. He placed his hand on the Captains arm, getting his attention.

"You okay?" He asked softly. Silver chuckled and nodded, taking the chance to wrap his arm back around the cabin boy.

"Yeah. Me wound just stings a bit." He said with a tired sigh. Jim nodded and moved to look at it, drawing a groan from Silver.

"We should get clean bandages on it now that we're here." Jim said with a sigh. Silver huffed and pulled Jim back around, pulling him down to sit on his lap.

"I know I know." Silver grumbled. "In a bit."

"John…" Jim tried to argue but stopped at the feeling of lips on his neck. A shiver ran up his spine. Silver let out a chuckle as both arms wrapped around Jims slim waist, pulling him against him.

"How about we enjoy having a warm room fer a bit." John practically purred in Jims ear, giving small nips to his neck. "A warm room and a cozy bed, what do ye say?"

Jim flushed and squirmed a bit in Johns arms, torn between wanting to stay there and wanting to care for his wounds. Jim swallowed and tried to push him away a little to look at him.

"Wouldn't it be better to get that done first, then relax?" He asked, his voice embarrassingly weak in his ears. Silver chuckled, shifting to grab on to the lads bottom. Jim gave a small gasp, but tried to suppress it.

"I'll be fine Jimbo." Silver hummed. "I wanna touch ye right now."

Jim frowned and sighed, trying to think. He came up with something, he had no idea if Silver would go for it, but it was worth a try.

"If you let me deal with your wound now...I'll do whatever you want. And give you express consent to do whatever you want."

Silver frowned, looking Jim over, thinking hard about it.

"Whatever I want, Lad?" Silver chuckled. "What if I said I wanted to have ye all the way?"

Jim swallowed but nodded.

"Then..you can have me." He muttered, feeling a bit strange saying the words. "I trust you to be careful…"

Silver hummed, leaning back and looking Jim over for a while. Jim swallowed, feeling strange under Silver's gaze. Eventually John nodded, a smirk spreading on his face.

"Alright Jimbo. You got a deal." He said. Something about the way John Silver said those words gave Jim an uneasy feeling and he silently wondered if he would regret the decision. Still he nodded and got off of Silvers lap, going to what used to be Amelia's cabinet and pulling out the medical supplies kept there. Jon leaned forward in his chair as Jim came around behind him and started working on removing the old bandage. Jim frowned at the wound. It was dirty, but didn't show any sign of returning infection. He worked deftly, not risking dragging this out after the deal he made. He washed off the wound with alcohol, drawing a sharp hiss from Silver, before carefully drying it off and securing a fresh, clean bandage to it, making sure it was secure and safe.

"Alright, you're all done." He sighed as he set the supplied down. The little box had hardly left his hand when he felt arms around him, lifting him off the ground. Jim yelped slightly in shock as Silver slung the young man over his shoulder, moving towards a closed off part of the cabin. Jim flushed deeply as he heard the door to the bedroom open and Silver carried him inside.

Jim only had a brief moment to take in the room, noting the bare walls, a single wardrobe, and a red rug on the floor before he was tossed, rather unceremoniously, onto the bed. The plush mattress bounced slightly as he landed on his back, his feet hanging off the edge slightly. He shifted to sit up and look at Silver, but was immediately pushed back again, the Ursid now hovering over him, his large hands pressed into the bed on either side of Jims head.

Jim looked up at Silver and swallowed a little nervously. Silver's eyes were roaming over him and Jim could swear they looked hungry. They stayed like that a long time, as if the pirate was thinking of the best way to continue. When Jon's hands did move, they were gentle. He slid them down Jims sides, seemingly feeling every curve on his slim body and moving down on to his legs. Jim followed the hands with his eyes, watching as the pirate quickly pulled off Jims boots and socks.

"Sit up." John said, and Jim obeyed, sitting up and raising his hands over his head as Silver pulled his loose shirt off before lightly pushing him back down onto his back. Jims trousers were then pulled off and tossed to the side, leaving the cabin boy completely naked and laying there, completely exposed to Silver's gaze. John smiled and ran his hands up and down the thin frame again, stopping only to gently brush his thumbs over the hardened nipples. Jim shuddered, both from the general touch and from the cold metal of Silver's right hand.

Jim closed his eyes, taking in a shuddering breath as John leaned down and started to plant soft kisses along his neck and chest, the bed sinking slightly as he placed his weight on it. The kisses and caresses continued for a while, only interrupted by light nips from Silver's teeth. Jim was breathing hard, shuddering at each touch of those large hands. He was hardly aware when Silver wrapped an arm around his waist and picked him up, one handed, shifting to lay his head on the pillows. When Silver pulled away, Jim blinked his eyes open to look up at the large man kneeling above him. Silver was flushed, his own large chest heaving slightly from heavy breaths as he looked down at the cabin boy. He chuckled and ran his fingers through Jim's hair briefly.

"Close yer eyes Jim." He said softly. "An don't move. I'll be right back."

Jim frowned slightly but nodded, closing his eyes and relaxing as he felt the bed shift, and the sound of Silver's heavy footsteps left the room. He shivered, feeling cold without Silver's warm body on top of him, but he didn't move. He had promised to do whatever the Cook-No….Captain told him. He let out a sigh and felt a small smile reach his lips as he heard those footsteps returning. A chill went up his spine as he heard something else, something shifting, but he couldn't place what it was. When the bed sunk again Jim felt the large hands grab his wrists and bring them together, something rough wrapping around them. He frowned, his back stiffening as the rope, he now realized, was being tightened, tying his hands together.

"S..Silver?" He asked softly, not opening his eyes but wanting reassurance.

"It's me Jimbo. Don't worry." Silver chuckled as the rope pulled taught, securing Jim's hands above his head. "Ye can open yer eyes now Lad."

Jim blinked his eyes open and looked at the smirking pirate then up at his bound hands. His face was burning now, the inability to cover himself making him want to do so more than ever.

"You okay Lad?" Silver asked, his voice deep and concerned as he cupped Jim's face in his hand. "If it's too much I'll untie ye. Ye just gotta say so."

Jim blinked and sighed, turning his head into the soft hand and gave a small smile.

"It...It's fine. Just...ah." He chuckled. "Wasn't expecting this.."

"Is it too tight?" Silver asked and Jim shook his head.

"No...it's okay…" He blushed and swallowed, glancing away for a moment before looking back at the pirate. "Y...you can continue."

Silver chuckled and leaned down, kissing Jim on the forehead as he leaned over him.

"Alright. If it's too much, tell me though. Consider that an order." Jim chuckled and nodded, smiling as he relaxed more in the position.

"Aye Aye Captain." He muttered. Silver laughed as his hand slid down Jim's side, tucking under him to grasp his bottom. Silver smiled and took a moment to just look over him, tied to the bed and completely vulnerable. Jim swallowed again and blushed at the scrutiny, humming as Silver's thumb brushed along his hip bone.

"I might get a little rough with ye Jim." Silver said softly, his eyes roaming over the slim body.

"That's okay.." Jim muttered, not really sure how rough Silver meant. John looked back at his eyes, his own face looking a mixture between wanting and being serious.

"Think of a word, Lad." He said bluntly. Jim blinked.

"Huh?"

"A word." He said again. "Somethin you wouldn't accidentally call out durrin sex."

Jim flushed and bit his lip, trying to clear his head to think of something.

"Uh….Solar Surfer." He came up with, the first work coming to mind. Silver though for a minute and nodded.

"A bit long, but It'll do." He nodded and reached up, holding on to Jim's chin with his fingers. "I want you to listen Jim, cause this is important. If at any time you feel scared, or if I'm too rough, you say that word and I stop, no questions asked. Okay?"

Jim frowned, a little confused and worried, but he nodded anyway, swallowing hard.

"W...what would you do that would scare me?" He asked, genuinely confused. Silver sighed and sat back on the bed, looking down at him.

"Hm...maybe this should wait.." He muttered before starting to reach to untie the rope.

"Wait.." Jim said. "I..I said you can do whatever you want."

"I know Lad." Silver chuckled as he untied the knot around Jims wrists, pulling the slim arms to his mouth and planting gentle kisses to where they were tied. "But I got ahead of meself. This is something to talk about in depth before jumping in."

Jim frowned but nodded, smiling at the attention given to his wrists, even if they weren't sore.

"I...don't really get it.." He admitted. Silver chuckled.

"Exactly why we will talk about it. Later though." Silver smiled and carefully laid Jim back down before standing, sighing as he took off his own clothes.

Jim flushed a brighter red than ever at the sight of a fully nude Silver. He had gotten fairly used to the bare chest while they were in the cave, but completely nude was something else. Silver was wide, his hips broad, his legs thick and muscular. What got Jim flushed however was Silvers large member, partially erect, being there in clear view. Jim felt a very confusing sense of fear, excitement, and curiosity as he tried to avert his eyes.

There's no way he'll fit… He thought as Silver slid into the bed beside Jim, pulling the covers up over both of them. Jim expected hands to start roaming over him again, but Silver simply pulled Jim against his chest and gave a soft sigh, looking like he was about to fall asleep.

"Um…"Jim started, feeling very confused.

"Hehe, sorry Jimbo." Silver chuckled, nuzzling into Jims back. "Ye don't gotta worry. Just try and get some rest."

"It's still morning…" Jim mumbled, trying to hide his own aroused member. "I thought you wanted to…"

"I do Jimbo." He nodded. "But...I think it might be wiser to wait a bit."

"John.." Jim hated how much it sounded like a whine. Silver chuckled and sat up, looking down at him.

"Yeh really get turned on by just a bit of petting, lad?" He teased, his hand sliding down to Jims thigh. Jim flushed and looked away. Silver chuckled again and sighed, rolling over on top of him.

"Alright then." He hummed as he shifted Jims legs open, settling between them. "But we aint gonna do the whole thing."

"Why not?" Jim frowned a bit. What are you doing, idiot! He berated himself in his mind. "I can handle it." No you can't! You saw how big he is, He'll rip you apart!

"I'm sure you could Jim." Silver smiled, leaning down to press kisses along his collar bone. "But to make sure you could would take quite a bit of prep, and we only got until Dogbreath finishes cooking."

Jim frowned for a moment, opening his mouth to ask what prep Silver meant when the Ursids tongue ran over one of his nipples, causing a shiver to run through his body. He let out a soft moan, seemingly to the pirates delight as he repeated the motion, his hand sliding down to Jimps legs, hoisting them up to rest on his own hips as he rocked forward, his large member pressing and rubbing against Jims.

The motions continued, Silver's hands and tongue roaming over Jims chest and neck, while he ground against the young man, eliciting soft moans from both of them. Jims arms wrapped around Silver's neck, holding the larger man close as Silver slid his organic hand down, cupping his bottom, and gently pressing one finger against his entrance. The digit slid in easily, despite being dry, due to Jims arousal and the Ursid started to slide his finger in and out in time with his own thrusts, massaging both of Jims most sensitive places at once.

It didn't take long for Jim to reach his climax, writhing and moaning under Johns weight as the pirate worked to please him. It wasn't with the same intensity as the first time, but the shuddering release of pressure in his lower stomach still made his head dizzy as he arched his back, his nails digging into the back of Silver's neck. Both men felt the hot, sticky wetness of Jim cumming on to his own flat belly and on to Silver's round one. John chuckled and smiled, placing a gentle kiss on Jim's neck.

"Good Lad." He chuckled as he nuzzled into the small crook under Jim's jawline. "It's my turn now."

Jim shuddered as John sat up and grabbed both of Jims legs again, shifting them to press together and holding them against one of his shoulders. Jim was confused for a moment before he felt Silver's large cock slide between his thighs, the old pirate smirking down at him as he started to move again, using Jims long, pale legs. Jim watched, hazey from his own climax, a small smile spreading on his lips as his hands carefully slid down to touch the large member, fingers deftly brushing against the tip.

The low growl that came from Silver's throat was both terrifying and the sexiest thing Jim Hawkins had ever heard as his hands wrapped around the thick cock, letting John thrust into them as well as his thighs. John smiled, his organic hand reaching out to gently brush the fringe away from Jim's face as he moved faster.

Even without the force going directly into his body, Jim still found that his frame rocked each time Silver thrusted in, having to raise one hand above his head to make sure he didn't accidentally hit the headboard. He kept his eyes on Silver's face, watching the green eye, seemingly hazed over in lust as he moved, and the mechanical one that was glowing almost white.

The only warning of John's climax was the sudden tightening of the arm around Jims legs before one, harsh thrust. Jim felt his face heat up again as John came on to his chest and torso, feeling an illogical sense of embarrassment at the amount the Ursid produced. John was breathing hard as his cock pumped the last bit of his load out onto his boy's chest, once finished he released Jims legs and let himself sit back on to his heels, chuckling at the somewhat stunned expression on Jim's face.

"You alright Lad?" He asked, shifting to stand up. Jim swallowed and nodded, not wanting to move for fear of making a mess of the bed. John chuckled and started looking through cabinets and the wardrobe, eventually returning with a towel. He gently cleaned up the mess on Jim's chest, leaning down to plant kisses on his face as he did so. Jim chuckled and let out a breath, his body feeling slightly numb after the activity.

Once Jim, and himself, were all cleaned up, John tossed the towel on to a bedside table and slid back into the bed, pulling Jim close against his chest. Both men gave soft sighs and closed their eyes, ready for sleep, when the faint sound of a knock could be heard from the main room of the cabin.

"Bugger it all…" Silver grumbled, working to get back up and pull his shorts back on. "Get dressed Jim, it's probably Dogbreath."

Jim nodded and quickly as he could pull his clothes back on, only struggling slightly with his boot as he followed Silver back out of the bedroom. Before opening the door, John thrust his hand into his sack by the entrance, pulling out, and on, a shirt to cover himself. Just as Silver had predicted, Dogbreath was standing in the doorway, holding two plates of food, one larger, the other significantly smaller.

"I got your meals, Captain." He said, trying to smile. Jim got the distinct impression of a dog seeking praise.

"Set em on the table." Silver sighed, stepping aside to let the alien in. Dogbreath glanced at Jim for a second before quickly looking away as he set the food on the table near the map.

"And the prisoner's meals?" Silver asked, leaning against a bulkhead.

"Was about to take em down." Dogbreath said. "Unless the Captain had other plans?"

"Jim." Silver said in a surprisingly strict tone. Jim blinked but looked up at him. "I want ye to take the food down to the lady Captain and the good Doctor."

Jim blinked, and started to open his mouth to ask why, but the narrowing in John's eyes made it very clear there would be no debate. So he swallowed and nodded.

"Aye." He muttered. John nodded and motioned to Dogbreath.

"Give him the food for the prisoners." He muttered and walked past Jim, placing a hand on the lad's shoulder. "You can talk to em for a bit, but don't dawdle once you leave the brig."

Jim smiled and nodded, giving another "Aye aye" before leaving the cabin with Dogbreath.

They moved through the ship quickly, careful to avoid any of the pirates as they worked their jobs. Jim couldn't help but smile when he entered the galley, the familiar room feeling a bit like home after being marooned on that planet for so long. He wished he could stay a bit longer, but the three small bowls of food were already pressed into his hands, and he was ushered away to the brig.

This was a part of the ship Jim had never been in before. His feet echoed on the steps as he descended into the darkness. When he entered he first saw Hands, who was sitting off on a barrel, apparently taking up his guard post once they had returned. Hands stared at him for a moment before motioning to a cell with his head. Jim nodded and shifted, stepping in to view of the cell to see Captain Amelia, Doctor Doppler, and Mr. Arrow all sitting.

As soon as he saw Jim, the Doctor jumped to his feet.

"Jim! Are you alright?!" He asked, approaching the bars. Hands made a sort of grumbling humph but didn't move to stop the doctor. Jim nodded silently, not sure what he could say to him. Instead he started placing the bowls of food into the slot in the door for the prisoners to take. Doppler took the bowls and passed them to Amelia and Arrow, never taking his eyes off the young man.

"What happened?" Doppler asked quietly. "We figured you were on board when the guard returned but...what's been going on?"

Jim sighed and leaned against the bars, not meeting the Doctor's eyes.

"I've been with Silver since we got back." He said softly, though the room was so small there was no way Hands couldn't hear.

"Silver's alive?" Amelia asked, one of her clawed hands wrapping around a bar. "I assumed Scroop would have killed him in his injured state."

"He didn't get the chance." Jim chuckled. "He's healed up pretty good and, well...lets just say he put Scroop in his place pretty fast."

"Jim…" Doppler said, his voice low and almost sad. "I...I know you and Silver have grown close but...you need to know something. He's-"

"The Captain of this pirate crew?" Jim finished the sentence for him. The Doctor sighed and nodded. "I know Doc. I figured it out while we were on the planet."

"Has he hurt you?" Amelia asked, her voice surprisingly gentle, compared to her usual cold demeanor.

"Hurt him?" A voice said from the entrance, Jim and Hands both turned to see Grewnge waddling down the stairs, his thumbs in the waist of his shorts. "Why, I think our Captain has been treating the boy very well, right Jimbo?"

Jim frowned. He hated hearing someone else use that nickname. Still he shrugged, looking away from the Pirate as he came closer.

"What do you mean by that?" Doppler asked, his large doglike eyes looking very confused.

"Well tell em Jim!" Grewnge chuckled, his arm draping around Jims shoulders as if they were old friends. "We all saw the Captain's hands all over ye! He had a bit of fun after coming on board didn't he?"

Jim felt his face flush bright red. His eyes were on the floor now, his hands clenching at his sides. He didn't even look up at the sound of a soft hiss coming from Amelia.

"Mr. Hawkins, did that Pirate do something to you?" She asked, her voice sounded dangerous. Jim felt trapped. He didn't want to be there anymore, and he certainly didn't want Grewnge's arm on him.

"Don't be shy now Jim!" The alien chuckled. "There's nothing to be ashamed of! Hell it's pretty impressive that the Captain decided to take you! He doesn't usually take playthings ya know!"

Jim genuinely could not tell if this was Grewnge's idea of being friendly or if the alien was messing with him. It was so confusing and uncomfortable, especially hearing the angry sounds from inside the cell. Grewnge pulled Jim down a bit to whisper into his ear, though again it didn't do much for secrecy in the small space.

"Tell me Jim, has he had ye all the way yet?" He muttered. Jim felt his face burn and his stomach churn. He wanted to throw up. The alien laughed and slapped Jims back hard, causing him to lurch. "Ah, who am I kiddin. Of course he hasn't. You wouldn't be walking if he had!"

Grewnge laughed loudly at his own joke, his large belly jiggling as he barked with it. Jim glanced at Amelia and Doppler, they looked positively murderous. Jim tried to think of something to say, anything to get Grewnge away from them when a new voice spoke up.

"That's enough Grewnge!" They turned to see Turnbuckle standing there, all four arms resting on his hips. "The Captain said to leave him alone you hear! The boy's still new so leave him be and get to work!"

"Aw we was just talkin, Turnbuckle!" Grewnge laughed, slapping Jim on the shoulder again.

"Talking about something that is not your business." Turnbuckle humphed. "The Captain won't be happy to hear that you've been making fun of his boy, or that you've been delving into his own business."

This got Grewnge to shut up. Jim had never been so happy to see Turnbuckle before in his life. Grewnge let his hand leave Jim's shoulder as Turnbuckle nodded toward the exit.

"Come on, Hawkins." He said sternly. "You should get back to the Captain."

"Er...right." Jim nodded and moved away from the cell. He didn't hear if Doppler or Amelia said anything more before he was led out of the brig by Turnbuckle. He walked with the second in command all the way back to Silver's cabin. Turnbuckle knocked on the door and waited, one of his tentacles resting on Jim's shoulder, much less familiarly than Grewnge had. The door opened and Silver looked over the two of them, his eyes narrowing.

"What happened?" Silver asked, motioning Jim over to him. Jim moved, glad that Turnbuckle didn't try to hold on as he pressed himself against Silver's chest, the large man's cyborg arm wrapping around him protectively.

"Grewnge was hazing the kid." Turnbuckle sighed. "Didn't hurt him but.."

"Blighter…" Silver huffed, glancing down at Jim briefly before looking back at Turnbuckle. "Get Grewnge and take him to the Galley. I'll be there shortly."

Turnbuckle nodded and turned to leave as Silver closed the door, both hands going to Jims shoulders.

"You alright Jim?" His voice was soft, tender. Jim sighed and nodded, leaning forward to press his head against the pirates large belly.

"Yeah...more embarrassed than anything." He muttered. John nodded and gently led Jim over to a chair, sitting him down in front of a plate of food and a mug of water. John took a seat next to him.

"What did Grewnge say to you?" He asked, leaning one arm against the table as the other gently pet Jims back. Jim sighed.

"He was making comments about us. About...what we do together." He muttered. John frowned a bit.

"What sort of comments Jim?" Jim didn't want to answer, his face already flushing again at the thought of repeating the words. But he sighed. He had learned pretty fast that, on this ship, it was a bad idea to not do what he's told.

"He called me your plaything." He muttered. "Asked me if we had...gone all the way. Then commented that I wouldn't be walking if we had…"

"Hmph." Silver huffed and leaned back in his chair, nodding.

"Alright Jim. Thank ye fer tellin me." He muttered softly, petting his back some more. "Eat up and get into bed. Ye need yer rest. Don't worry, I'll deal with Grewnge."

"John?" Jim spoke up as the Captain shifted to stand. John stopped, looking down at the boy, waiting.

"They're all gonna talk about this, aren't they?" He asked, his voice soft. John sighed and nodded.

"Most likely. At least at first." He said. "I wish I could stop em, but pirate crews talk, especially about their Captain and his lovers. It's just...common among crews like this. It's how they blow off steam."

Jim nodded and sighed, covering his face with his hands, dreading the idea of those words being spread around the ship. John patted his back gently, trying to comfort the young man to no avail.

"I'm sorry Jim." He said quietly. "All I can do is make sure they don't bother you."

"I know. It's not your fault." Jim sighed again, looking up at him with a tired smile. "It's just something I gotta get used to I think…"

John sighed and gave a nod, patting his shoulder gently.

"Eat up and get some rest. I'll be back soon."

Jim nodded and watched as Silver pulled his coat on and placed his hat on his head before stepping out of the cabin. Jim watched the door for a bit before looking down at his food. Just by looking at it, it was no were near the quality Silver could provide, but it was what they had. So he ate the gruel, for lack of a better definition, swallowing as much as he could with how he was feeling. Once his bowl was clean he stacked it with Silvers and made his way to the bedroom. He kicked off his shoes and crawled into the bed, pulling the covers up over himself and giving a soft sigh, slowly falling asleep.

John Silver made his way to the galley, his heavy footsteps echoing on the large ship. It was clear from everyone who he passed that he was in a foul mood, but they didn't know the half of it. John was struggling with two different parts of himself; The greedy, ruthless pirate, willing to do whatever he needed to do in order to get what he wanted, and the other side, a new side that cared and worried about the young man in his cabin. That second part was ashamed. Ashamed for asking Jim to join his crew, ashamed of touching him.

He sighed as he entered the galley, folding his arms as he looked at the two aliens sitting there. Turnbuckle looked equally as unamused as he felt, Grewnge looked like he was about to pass out. Silver frowned and stepped forward, towering over the other alien.

"Now, Grewnge…" He said, low and dangerous. "What was it I said earlier? About messing with Jim?"

"I didn't mean no harm by it Captain!" Grewnge muttered. "It was just a bit o' banter…"

"I didn't ask that." Silver snarled. "What was it I said?"

Grewnge swallowed, rubbing his hands together nervously.

"Y...You said he was off limits…" Grewnge muttered. John nodded.

"That's right." He said, low and deep. "Now, I hear about something like this again, and you'll end up eating a prisoners rations for a month, are we clear?"

"Y..Yes Captain." Grewnge swallowed, nodding his head frantically.

"Good." He huffed, turning to Turnbuckle. "Make sure Dogbreath knows to withhold his meals for the day. And inform Oxy and Moron they've just been relieved of night watch."

"Aye Captain." Turnbuckle nodded, looking at Grewnge with a sideways look. Silver nodded, excusing Grewnge from his sight. The short alien moved quickly, leaving the galley.

"Turnbuckle." Silver sighed. "Keep an eye out fer any more of this. I don't wan em talking about stuff that aint their business."

"Understood Captain." Turnbuckle nodded. "If I hear anything more, I'll let you know."

"Good man." He nodded. A little relief let Silver relax. He trusted Turnbuckle, in fact he was one of the only men he fully trusted. They had been together a long time. "Keep an eye on things. I'm gonna rest, and business will continue tomorrow."

"Yes Sir." Turnbuckle saluted and moved to walk past the Ursid, a tentacle reaching up to place on Silver's shoulder. "It's good to have you back, Captain."

John smiled and gave a nod, watching the Zirrelian leave. He sighed and rubbed his hand over his eyes, feeling drained, before straightening up and leaving the galley.

He didn't speak to anyone on the way back to his cabin, simply moving with purpose, trying to hide the ache in his back from his wound. As he stepped inside and closed the door, he had to wander to himself how it was only nearing mid day. His eyes scanned the room. The table only had the map and the dishes from their meals on it, Jim was nowhere to be seen.

John hung up his hat and coat, walking to the bedroom, smiling at the sight of Jim, curled up in bed, breathing softly. He chuckled and carefully slid his own shoe off before making his way over, trying not to jostle the bed too badly as he slid in under the covers behind Jim. Careful not to wake him, John slid an arm around his waist, pulling him close as he joined the cabin boy in sleep.
