Chapter 1: Planning On Yumichika Ayasegawa's Birthday
Ikkaku rolled over as he felt some soft skin. He opened his eyes as he turned over and saw his lover, Yumichika, was still in bed with him.
Ikkaku got really close to Yumichika as he rubbed his chest and thighs.
"Baby? Are you ready to talk now?" Ikkaku asked as he kissed Yumichika's shoulder and neck.
Yumichika moaned in his sleep as he opened them, "Do you miss my voice?"
"I do. I want to hear your voice." Ikkaku said.
"Don't touch my thighs. You know that's my turn on spot." Yumichika said.
Ikkaku grinned, "I know.~ Are you in the mood~?"
"No. I want to take a shower and start the day off by avoiding the new Kuchiki." Yumichika said.
Ikkaku frowned as he put his hands down.
"You do realize that he moved into a new place with his husband, right?" Ikkaku said.
"And? As long as they're happy then good. That doesn't concern me." Yumichika said.
"So I'm guessing you're still pissed off at him then?" Ikkaku asked as he sat up.
"Yes. He slapped me which caused me to go into shock and I nearly fainted. He slapped me like ten times while pulling on my hair. How can I forgive someone who did that to me?" Yumichika asked.
"I mean…..You were being an ass to his friend. Nobody likes that." Ikkaku said.
Yumichika scoffed. He got out of bed, grabbed his bathrobe and put it on.
"I'm going shower, you know the rules right?" Yumichika asked his lover without even looking at him.
Ikkaku nodded. Yumichika didn't even care if his lover answered him or not, so he just left and headed to the restroom.
Ikkaku plopped down onto the bed as he sighed.
"Damn it, and his birthday is tomorrow. I wonder what I can do?" Ikkaku said to himself.
He then snapped his fingers as he grabbed his phone and texted Izaya for some help.
"Hey! I need you, so tomorrow's Yumichika's birthday and I need your help." Ikkaku texted Izaya as he waited for a reply.
Izaya was back at home, still sleeping with his husband, Keigo. The two went at it nearly all night long.
Ikkaku then got out of bed to find another restroom to wash up in.
Yumichika opened the door as he peeked a bit seeing his lover gone. He sighed as he headed back into the restroom, quietly closing the door.
The two went their separate ways. Ikkaku was outside all by himself as he waited for a text from Izaya.
Yumichika was in the kitchen, sitting all by himself drinking some tea.
Yumichika tried to ignore everyone talking about Izaya's and Keigo's wedding.
"Did you cry, Rangiku? I did! Weddings are so beautiful." Momo said.
Yumichika's ears twitched.
"Yeah! When they said 'I do' to each other that's when I lost it.~ They are so perfect to each other." Rangiku said.
Yumichika saw that they were sitting a few seats from him.
"And you also caught the boutique. I gasped when I saw it land on you." Momo said.
"I mean I was busy wiping my tears away and I didn't even notice that it was there." Rangiku said as she giggled.
"I caught it on video.~" Momo said as she laughed.
"You're so sweet, honey.~" Rangiku said. She giggled as she noticed Yumichika staring at them.
Yumichika gasped a bit as he immediately looked away, pretending he didn't see them.
Rangiku raised an eyebrow.
"Momo dear, mind getting me some more sugar powdered toast? They smell so good right now.~" Rangiku said.
"Sure! Be back in a jiffy!" Momo said as she stood up and ran to get her friend some.
Rangiku walked over to Yumichika as she tapped her fingers on the table and cleared her throat.
Yumichika looked up as he gasped, "Can I help you?"
"No, But maybe you can help yourself in getting rid of that nasty attitude you have. I can feel it." Rangiku said.
"I'll talk when I feel like it." Yumichika said.
Rangiku sighed. She sat across from him as she saw her friend, Momo talking to her boyfriend, Toshiro. Rangiku smiled as she looked back at Yumichika.
"Look, I understand what happened wasn't okay. But you deserved it." Rangiku said.
Yumichika looked back at her, his eyes glowing red.
"Why the hell do you think that!? It's not my fault that I smelt Izaya's friend's-" Yumichika was cut off.
"Don't even mention that. She said she's a woman and always will be. Like Izaya said, what's in her skirt is none of your damn business, Yumichika." Rangiku said.
Yumichika sighed, "Fine. What do you want me to do?"
"Literally just apologized. Izaya did it millions of times. He understood his mistake, so now it's your turn." Rangiku said.
Yumichika sighed as he drank all of his tea. "Fine."
"That's it? Bring Izaya with you. You know he's an extrovert." Rangiku said.
Yumichika looked at his busty friend as she sighed at him and walked away before Momo came back.
Yumichika saw them laughing and talking to each other. He then noticed his lover was gone too.
Yumichika sighed once more as he got up and left quietly.
Rangiku noticed as she watched him leave.
"Hey, I saw you talking to Yumichika. Does he want a party?" Momo asked.
"Huh? I'm sure he does, but we can't tell him, remember~? It's all gotta be a secret.~" Rangiku said.
Momo giggled as she cutely 'shhh' her friend.
Yumichika headed back to his room to change clothes. He looked back making sure Ikkaku wasn't coming back. Yumichika left a note as he opened the window and left.
Izaya finally woke up as he yawned and checked on his phone. He had a message from Ikkaku.
"Want to go shopping and buy him a few things?" Izaya asked.
He turned to his husband as he rubbed his cheek.
"Want to go shopping today babe~? A friend's birthday is tomorrow." Izaya asked.
"Sure! What would they like?" Keigo asked as he opened his eyes.
"Hmm? Maybe candles and anything that's sapphire and peacock related." Izaya explained.
"Perfect, do they want a party?" Keigo asked.
"I'm sure they do. I'm a master at them.~" Izaya said.
"You are, love.~ I'm going to wash up real fast." Keigo said as he kissed Izaya and headed to the restroom.
Izaya smiled as he texted Ikkaku back.
"Here's my address and we're also buying party supplies for the party." Izaya replied.
"Hold on! I wasn't able to ask if he wanted a party. I- I tried to talk to him…..he's still angry." Ikkaku said.
"He'll come around. Meet me and my hubby at the mall, please." Izaya said as he got out of bed also.
Ikkaku sighed as he headed to his room and walked in.
"Yumi-babe, do you want a- Oh? I guess he's still in the kitchen." Ikkaku said.
He then saw a note on the nightstand as he picked it up and read it.
"Babe, I'm heading to the mall to say sorry to Izaya and to his friend. I'll probably be there for maybe an hour to cool off. I'm sorry for my gross ugly attitude. I love you." -Yumichika.
Ikkaku raised an eyebrow, "Wait, he doesn't even know where Izaya lives!"
Yachiru came into Ikkaku's room with Kenpachi.
"Yo~ Looks like he's still pissed off and probably drinking as much sake to 'forget' about things huh? Well good! We're going to the mall to buy him something." Kenpachi said.
"Yay! Baldy look, I made a list on what we can buy him." Yachiru said.
Ikkaku read it as he nodded, "Good. And funny, I was just heading there right now."
"Perfect~! Text Izaya and let him know that we'll meet him at the park so we can all head there." Kenpachi said.
"Sure thing, captain." Ikkaku said as he gave him and Yachiru a nervous smile.
Kenpachi grinned as he left with Yachiru.
Ikkaku sighed as he hid the note and wrote a response note and put it on the nightstand and left.
Izaya and Keigo we're at the park, tearing the decorations off the trees and throwing them away.
"Is your friend still angry, babe?" Keigo asked.
"He is sadly. I didn't mean to embarrass him like that." Izaya said.
"I hope he'll change his whole attitude once we get the party decorations set up for him." Keigo said.
"I hope so too, babe. I love your predictions.~" Izaya said as he winked at Keigo.
Keigo blushed and winked back.
The gates opened as Yumichika landed, he panted as he noticed he was at the park. He turned around and gasped seeing Izaya and Keigo taking off the decorations.
Yumichika saw the mall as he ran to it as fast as possible and headed inside.
Yumichika headed inside as he panted and drinked some water.
"Now, where is- Ah-ha." Yumichika said as he headed to the store but it was closed.
"Huh? It's passed ten though. Are they on break?" Yumichika said to himself.
"No. They're closed on the weekends." A voice said that made Yumichika jump up.
"Ahhh! Darling, you must not scare me like that." Yumichika said to Nel.
Nel giggled, "I'm sorry. It's a bad habit. But yeah they're closed on the weekends. But we're trying to convince them to have it open since people get married or just do whatever on the weekends, you know?" Nel said.
"Yes, that's true. Is there a way I can email them or something?" Yumichika asked.
"No. They're going to set that up along with their own website." Nel explained.
Yumichika sighed, "Thanks anyways."
Nel smiled at him as she walked off back to her job.
Yumichika looked inside the store, remembering the spot where Izaya slapped him, pinned him down, slapped him again while pulling on his hair.
Yumichika sighed as he walked off, heading to a different store to shop at.
Kenpachi, Yachiru, and Ikkaku arrived at the world of the living as they saw Izaya and Keigo putting the wedding decorations in the trash.
"Hey you married couples~ Doing chores~?" Kenpachi asked.
"Just respecting mother nature.~" Izaya said.
"So, ready to go shopping? For Yumichika?" Ikkaku asked.
"Sure! Party store first. Then wherever." Izaya said.
"Here's a list I've made!" Yachiru said as she handed it to Izaya and Keigo.
They both read it as they nodded.
"Good idea, Yachiru~ Yumichika will definitely love these." Izaya said.
"Welp let's go peeps. We got more decorating to do.~" Kepnachi said as they all walked off to the mall.
Yumichika bought a few things as he sat down to take a break.
"I wish there was a way for me to text them." Yumichika said to himself.
He then looked up, hearing a loud high pitched voice.
Yumichika's eyes widened as he saw Izaya, Keigo, Kenpachi, Ikkaku, and Yachiru heading inside the party store.
"They're here? Wait for what? Who-" Yumichika then slapped himself on the face.
"My birthday is tomorrow! How could I forget about my own birthday?!" Yumichika cried out.
Grimmjow rolled his eyes as he walked up to him.
"Yo. Keep it down, pretty boy." Grimmjow said.
Yumichika looked up as he fake cried and sniffled.
"Aren't you Ichigo's boyfriend?" Yumichika asked.
"Yeah. Anyways, I heard what you said about Giselle. Better man up and go say yer sorry to her." Grimmjow said.
"Whoa whoa easy there big guy! I was going to but their store is closed! The green haired girl just told me." Yumichika said.
"Ah, Nel. That's her name. I always forget they're closed every weekend. Well I have their number here. Tell em 'Grimmjow gave it to me.' " Grimmjow said as he gave a card to Yumichika.
Yumichika looked at it as he took it. "Thank you. But it'll be better if I apologized to…...….." Yumichika choked on his words.
"Say 'her'!" Grimmjow said as he folded his arms.
"To her, face to face." Yumichika said as he sighed.
Grimmjow sighed, "Yer a pain the ass. Just call her up and let her know and I'm pretty sure she'll let you. I gotta get back to work. Happy birthday by the way." Grimmjow said as he walked off.
Yumichika sighed as he stood up, grabbed his stuff and headed to the restroom.
The gang came out of the party store as they've brought peacock, lavender, and sapphire streamers, stickers, and balloons.
"Okay. me and Yachiru will head to the jewelry store. Y'all?" Kenpachi asked.
"We'll go to the candle store." Izaya said.
"Alright deal. Let's split up." Kenpachi said.
"Hey wait, Izaya. Let's go inside this store first." Ikkaku said.
Izaya looked over as he gasped.
"The Crystal store! Let's go you guys. You'll love it." Izaya said.
Keigo and Ikkaku followed him in as they walked in and looked around.
"Welcome! Everything is on sale, as I'm going to put up new crystals." Sung-Sun said.
"Hey Sung-Sun, thanks! We'll see what we can buy." Izaya said.
Sung-Sun giggled as she waved at Keigo and Ikkaku.
They both waved back at her as they looked around.
"Izaya, what do these crystals do?" Ikkaku asked.
"Protect and heal." Izaya said as he picked out three stones for Yumichika.
"Sung-Sun, I'll take these three." Izaya said.
"Ohhh you're in luck. The best ones! Okay come on up." Sung-Sun said.
"Y'all can buy some too. Pick anything you want. I'll help you learn how to use them." Izaya said.
Keigo smiled as he picked out three crystals.
Ikkaku had a blank look on his face.
Izaya paid for his and Keigo's new stones as Sung-Sun gently wrapped them up and put them in their bags.
"Thank you, come again!" Sung-Sung said.
"Bye Sung-Sun.~" Izaya said as he, Keigo, and Ikkaku walked out.
"Erm, the candle store?" Ikkaku asked.
"Sure! Let's go." Izaya said as he and his hubby followed Ikkaku in.
Yumichika came out of the restroom as he looked around. He saw his Captain and Yachiru still in the jewelry store.
Yumichika smiled a bit as he left the mall. He ran back to the empty park as he panted. He opened the gates as he headed back to the soul society.
Yumichika ran to his room as fast as possible as he closed and locked the door and panted.
"Boy, that was a close one." Yumichika said.
He hid his shopping stuff he bought as he saw a note on the nightstand.
He picked it up as he read it.
"I love you too babe. I'll be heading out too. If we want to catch a movie or something. Call me. I would love to hang out with you before your birthday comes.~" -Ikkaku.
Yumichika felt light headed as he groaned and landed on his bed as he passed out.
Izaya, Keigo, Kenpachi, Ikkaku, and Yachiru, came back to the soul society as they called everyone to help set up the decorations for Yumichika.
