Authors note: Been reading other fic's like this one you are about to read but wanted to add my own little twist to it. Hope you enjoy and suggestions are always welcome.

"JJ, I'm sorry! I swear it was just for a second! I didn't mean for this to happen!" Reid cried, pleading to JJ for forgiveness.

"If you didnt mean for this to happen maybe you shouldnt have been so carless for the life of Henry!" JJ Shouted back.

"JJ calm down." Will warned.

"Calm down?! My son is in the hospital because of Reid!" JJ cried.

Tears were pouring down Reid's cheek especially when he heard that last part. JJ never calls him Reid.

"Just leave I dont want you here right now. you are a horrible godfather!" JJ tried to shout but only came out as a whimper as she hugged Will.

"JJ..." This time it was Hotch who tried to step in but Reid waived his hand up at him.

"No JJ's right this was all my fault If ive been more aware this would have never happened."

"Guys just stop ok this isn't anyones fault." Will tried to reason.

"He's right guys." Garcia mentioned.

Reid was having none of it and got up and started to storm out of the waiting room. "Kid where do you think you're going?" Morgan runs toward Reid to try and reason with him in staying.

"I just need to be alone right now." Reid countered.

"You know this isnt your fault kid."

"Yes it is now please leave me alone." Reid finished and gently pushed Morgan out of the way and exited the hospital.

Hotch came up to Morgan and put a hand on his shoulder. "Give him some time Morgan he will come around."

"I hope you're right Hotch."

"Family of Henry Lamontagne?"

"That's us" Will stated seeing how JJ was too in her emotions to form a coherent sentence.

"My Name is Dr. Blake and after looking at Henry the only damage that we came across was a dislocated shoulder and a couple minor scrapes. We managed to fix it."

"So his head is ok? No damage there?" Emily questioned.

"No his head had no damage done to it."

"Can we see him now?" JJ finally spoke.

"He's resting now but i can take you to his room."

Everyone got up from their seats in the waiting room and made their way to Henry.

Reid stormed out of the hospital feeling all sorts of emotional. He was sad, angry, upset and terrified. Sad that Henry had that accident happen to him and terrified at what this ordeal meant in terms of his and JJ's friendship. He couldn't risk losing his closest friend, even though she is completely mad at him.

Angry and upset was what he was feeling the more he was thinking about JJ. How could she think he would purposely let Henry get hurt on his watch? he may be a genius but he isnt god, accidents happen and he was just hoping that Henry would be ok.

It was pouring out but Reid didnt care. He was walking down the sidewalk the opposite way from his apartment. He was too busy thinking about Henry and how upset he is with JJ. Too busy to think about how he didnt notice he was slowly veering to the left of the sidewalk and eventually walked off of it into the main road. Too busy to notice the oncoming traffic heading the opposing way. Too busy to notice the pain he felt when he got struck by a car. Too busy to notice himself slowly fade away into blackness as onlookers started running up to him and dialing 911. He was too busy thinking how JJ will never forgive him for making her Henry hurt.

*Meanwhile at the hospital*

"Hey buddy how are you feeling?" Will said to Henry once he woke up a half hour later. Will was on one side of Henry's bed his hand gliding up and down his arm. JJ was on the opposite side stroking Henry's hair.

"Mommy, Daddy!" Henry softly said as he was still half asleep.

"Hey my little man." JJ said as she hugged Henry.

"Where is Uncle Spence?" Henry said

"He had somewhere to be. He told me to let him know if you were okay tho." Will said to Henry.

"Is he mad at me?" Henry said apologetically while sniffling.

"Why would he be mad at you Henry? did you do something to upset him?" Morgan asked.

"Uncle Spence told me not to run and to always hold his hand when in public but I didn't listen and tripped." Henry answered.

Hearing Henry's confession made made her go wide eyed. She had it all wrong. Of-course Reid would never intentionally put Henry in harms way. it was just an honest accident.

"No bud, Uncle Spencer just had something important to take care of. He will be by later to check in on you."

"Okay Uncle Morgan."

"Hey now that we know Henry's going to be okay why dont you 4 head on home. Thanks for meeting us here Henry probably appreciated seeing you all. We will call with updates." Will said to the 4 BAU members.

"Okay. If you two need anything let us know. JJ i want you to take some time off to be with Henry and Will." Hotch ordered.

"Okay." Was all JJ could say.

Hotch, Morgan, Garcia, Rossi and Emily all exited the Hospital and headed to the SUV since they were all at the BAU before they got the call.

"Good thing the rain decided to settle down." Rossi said from the back seat.

"Tell me about it. I hate the rain, especially at night. its so hard to see and so unsafe." Emily stated.

"As long as our headlights dont go out we'll be fine." Hotch said driving along the main road.

"Hey whats going on over there?" Morgan pointed to the flashing lights in the distance.

"not sure but we are going to find out. we are going to drive past it." Emily said.

"Looks like a car wreck? but theres only one car. maybe they hydroplaned?" Garcia stated.

"Baby girl i know you are not trying to profile that scene."

"I'm just curious is all my chocolate thunder."

As they were driving past they noticed the car had a slight dent on the front bumper and hood but was otherwise okay. Then they noticed that there was a person getting a neck brace fitted and getting lifted into a stretcher and headed to the ambulance. Morgan noticed the persons face before anyone else did and gasped.

"Is that..?" Hotch said while trying to keep eyes on the road.

"Thats.. REID!" Morgan yelled.

Authors Note: I just realized I'm terrible at writing out Morgan and Garcia's way of talking to each other so i probably either wont do it or limit it cus Id rather them not talk to each other in my fic's than talk normally cus thats not who they are in the series.
