Chapter 3 Dinner
When they both saw the food it just made their mouths water. Melissa tells the boys to calm down and to go wash up once again since they still haven't yet. They both nod. Head to the master bathroom by the kitchen and go wash up. Five minutes later they exit the bathroom then headed to the dining table. They all sit down. The boys were about to start to eat but Melissa says prayer first. She looks to Inuyasha to do the honors.
Inuyasha said the same prayer that he always does and after he was done everyone dug in. Ten minutes into dinner Rafael broke the silence then asked so how was your day son. Inuyasha says it was fine. I went for a walk then got a new book from the bookshop keeper also pickup my fixed Xbox one from the game store. I also had a run in with Theo again. Rafael just smiles deviously at that part. Then says that bookshop owner is a very nice old man. That shop has been in his family for generations. I remember the first time my dad brought me to the shop.
My eyes went wide with all the books that they owned. When I was in high school I would spend most of my free-time there whenever I could. That is actually how I met your mother. She was an intern there working a part-time job. When I first saw her it was like my heart exploded. Each day I went to the bookshop I would read for a while till her shift ended. Then we would hang out till dinner everyday. Before long our feelings grew for each other. Inuyasha asks why are you telling me this? It is kind of embarrassing he says with a blush.
Rafael and Melissa just breakout in laughter. Rafael says look at our son dear he is blushing. But anyway you may be right. Inuyasha asks his father how long do you think that you will be gone for the fair for? Inuyasha was worried about the answer that he will get that will might make or break his mood he thinks to himself. After a few minutes waiting for his father to answer. Rafael says maybe a few days to a week depending on how long it goes on for plus how long it will take for me to get back. Why do you ask? Inuyasha then says I was thinking that we all could go fishing together like we used to when I was little.
Both his parents looks in bewilderment at their son. They were both in surprise that he suggested that since he hardly leaves his room. Melissa and Rafael look at each other then back to their son and nod. Inuyasha nearly jumps out of his seat for joy. So they make plans to take a fishing trip in the future as a family like they did before. Twenty minutes later when dinner was over then Inuyasha went to the living room, and turned on the TV to watch cartoons. Rafael and Melissa cleaned up the table. Packed up the leftovers then put them in the fridge and freezer. Ten minutes later after finishing that they prepared dessert for the three of them. Vanilla Bean for Inuyasha, Chocolate Mint swirl for Rafael, and Sherbet for Melissa. Then his parents went to the living room to join him then gave him a bowl of his favorite ice-cream.
Thirty minutes later while the three of them were eating ice-cream, and watching cartoons, they noticed that their son was very anxious also nervous about something.
