Chapter 4 The confession
As his parents they are most of the time aware when their son is nervous also when there is something wrong. Inuyasha nervously put his bowl of ice-cream down and look to his parents then says that I have a confession to make. Melissa and Rafael look to their son and say you can tells us anything. Inuyasha says I am afraid to because you will be mad.
Rafael says what makes you think that we will get mad. You know you can say or do a lot of things but we can never get mad at you. Inuyasha says you promise they both nod. Inuyasha says ok here goes Mom, Dad I am Gay. Melissa and Rafael just smile. Then Inuyasha asks why are you smiling? Inuyasha is just severely confused and surprised. A few minutes passed when they both eventually answered.
They both say sweetheart we knew that you were already. Inuyasha's eyes just goes wide. Then asked how did you know? Sweetheart we had our suspicions for some time. For one you only hanged out with boys when you were at school and outside school. For second when your best friend that meant the whole world to you died you were utterly devastated. So it wasn't hard to put two and two together. Also you shut us out for a good period of time. Then you refused to eat or sleep for a week. Also when you did talk to us you got extremely defensive and violent. That is how our suspicions were confirmed.
Inuyasha then says I wanted to tell you for years but I couldn't work up the courage. Then he breaks out in tears then hugs his parents. Sweetheart don't cry we are happy that you finally told us even though we knew at first. We are very proud of you working up the courage to admit it. We love you no matter what. Inuyasha and his parents hug for a bit. But eventually broke apart then just smiled at each other. A few minutes later they went back to watching cartoons for a little while longer until Rafael had to leave for his long trip. Then eventually the time came for Rafael to leave. So Rafael got up then got packed for the road. Double checking everything making sure he has everything. Now reassured that he believes that has everything he starts bringing out the supplies to be loaded up.
Later Inuyasha goes outside then hitches up Danny. Then helps his father to load the invention plus the supplies for his long journey. After everything was loaded up Rafael checks if everything is secured then assuring that it is he smiles. Afterwards Rafael hugs his son then his wife. Telling that he loves them and he will see them soon. As his father rides away Inuyasha couldn't help a nagging feeling in his gut that something terrible is going to happen. But shrugs it off for now so not to worry at all and ruin the moment. But as his father rides away Inuyasha couldn't help but smile that is father is on his way to become a world greatest inventor also a well known name to all. Then Inuyasha looks to his mother and just notices a glee in her eyes. Then realized that she was feeling the same way that he is for his father.
