Chapter 7 Melissa at the market
Melissa and Inuyasha wake up the next morning. Then got ready for the day. Inuyasha goes to take a shower while Melissa goes to make breakfast. Inuyasha finishes his shower. Then gets dressed and heads downstairs to the dining room. Melissa looks up and says good morning sweetheart did you sleep well. Inuyasha nods. Are you hungry?
Inuyasha nods again.
Melissa says why don't you go get washed up. I will have the table set by the time you're done. Inuyasha says ok. He goes to wash up. Then Inuyasha returns to the dining room. They both sit down and eat breakfast. After they are done eating Melissa gets up to do the dishes. But then Inuyasha says he will do them. Melissa just smiles and says thanks honey I have to go to the market anyway. But I should be back before sundown. Melissa goes to wash up then grab her things. Then gives Inuyasha a quick hug and kiss on the cheek.
Melissa says don't forget tonight is the night of the new moon so remember to stay inside. Inuyasha nods. Then gives his mom a hug and kiss as well. Tells her that he will see you later also to stay safe. Melissa says same to you. Inuyasha nods. After his mother leaves he locks the door. Then he goes back up to his room to do some reading for a while. But a while later he gets hungry so he heads down to the kitchen to make himself a quick snack. But then he realizes that it is almost dinnertime so he goes to the fridge and heats up a good portion of the leftovers since he forgot to eat lunch. Also he notices that his goof of a father forgot his snack that he packed. Decides to have that for dessert so it doesn't go bad. After eating his dinner and dessert Inuyasha goes back upstairs to take a shower. Then gets dressed in his favorite kimono and pants.
Then decides to play some videogames till bedtime since he usually likes to sleep through the new moon. But for some reason the same nagging feeling that he felt last night came back again. But he just shrugged it off as just nerves. Meanwhile Melissa eventually arrives at the market since she took her time taking in the sights plus stopping for lunch that she packed. Then she stopped at various stalls getting the groceries that she was looking for. Then heads to the barber to get a haircut. Since it has been a while since she had one. Wanted it to be a surprise for Rafael when he got back. After Melissa got her haircut finished she realized how late it has gotten. Then remembering what day it was Melissa hurried back home as quick as she could with groceries in hand.
