Chapter 8 Inuyasha home alone

Meanwhile back at the house Inuyasha decided to play his favorite videogame series Resident Evil. For a while he was in the zone and was currently finishing up the final boss fight in RE3. Then he gets distracted momentarily by a noise outside but just ignored it. But then there was a knock at the door. Inuyasha then realized that it was way to early for his mother to be back. So deciding to go see who it was he paused the game and went downstairs.

When Inuyasha arrived to the front door he looked through the peephole and to his astonishment it wasn't his mother but Theo with a bundle of roses and a box of chocolate. Also he was dress nicely and well groomed. With annoyance and disgust he decide to go on what his mother said to give him a chance. So he slowly and calmly unlocked the door to greet Theo.

Then Inuyasha says hey Theo how are you? Theo just smiles mischievously and hands him the gifts. Inuyasha just blushes slightly and gladly accepts them. Then Theo asks if he may come in and Inuyasha says ok. Theo then says where are your parents.

Inuyasha says my dad will be gone for a week or so for the invention fair and my mother should be back shortly from the market in a little while. Theo says okay. Then Inuyasha asks if he would like anything to eat or drink. Theo says that he would love a beer if it wouldn't be too much trouble. Inuyasha says not at all just give me a moment to put these flowers in a vase and the chocolates in the freezer since chocolate tastes better cold and frozen in my opinion. Theo says no worries take your time. I will be in the living room relaxing on the couch waiting he says "with a wink." Inuyasha goes to the kitchen to put the chocolates in the freezer. Then grabs an empty vase for the cabinet to put the flowers in also adds water too.

Afterwards he brings it to the living room to put it on the coffee table. Then Inuyasha goes to the living room to join Theo on the couch. Then hands him the beer. Theo says thank you before taking a sip. Then Inuyasha tries to make conversation so do you play any videogames or have any hobbies other than hunting?

Theo just smiles then laughs and says no hunting is all I love to do I don't really like that much. Besides hunting and drinking. Then Inuyasha says that you should try taking on some other hobbies there are lots out there and you might like others. Then Theo asks Inuyasha what are his hobbies? Inuyasha says I adore reading, writing, and videogames plus I used to fish with my parents a lot when I was young.

Theo just quirks an eyebrow and smiles. Then says small world my parents used to take me fishing a lot when I was young as well before they died. During the conversation Inuyasha then realizes how late it has gotten. Then Inuyasha starts to panic. Theo then notices that something is wrong with Inuyasha. So he goes over to Inuyasha to see what is wrong. But Inuyasha just refuses his help. Then ushers Theo out politely.

But when Theo refuses Inuyasha then gets physical, and uses his inhuman strength to force him out which works. But as a last ditch effort Theo forces Inuyasha into a kiss, and asked him to marry him which just earns him a slight kick to the groin. Then after getting Theo out he locks the door.

Then Miroku asks how did it go.

Theo just grabs Miroku and says I will have Inuyasha as my husband make no mistake about that, and then limps back home.

Then Inuyasha runs out the back door.

Is he gone?

Then starts ranting can you imagine? He asked me to marry him. Me, the husband of that boorish, brainless...

"Madame Theo Can't you just see it?

Madame Theo, His little husband.

No sir, not him, I guarantee it.

He want much more than this provincial life.

I want adventure in the great wide somewhere I want it more than I can tell.

And for one it might be grand,

to have someone understand.

I want so much more than they've got planned."

So Inuyasha decides to relax in the grass contemplating what just happened between him and Theo. They were having a moment of a normal conversation until Theo acts the usual way that he does. Most of the time when they are alone together. Which pisses off Inuyasha royally and wonders if he will act like a real gentleman. Not just some creepy flirt. So closing his eyes to steady his breath also to calm down as well. Then a few minutes later Inuyasha hears urgent hooves coming his way.

Then realizing that it was Danny so he gets up then calms him down which works after a few minutes. Inuyasha then notices that his father wasn't there. Starting to panic he asks Danny where his father was? Danny just looks back at the forest. Inuyasha asks Danny to take him to his father. So Inuyasha unhitches the carriage to make it easier on Danny and they both head into the forest.

BUT TO UNKNOWN INUYASHA HIS LIFE IS ABOUT TO CHANGE...
