Barry groaned as he came to, feeling an unnatural sense of dread in his chest. He looked around the room in a daze, trying his hardest to remember what had happened. All he knew was that one minute he was arguing with Steve and the next he was waking up in this room.

Wait.. he was arguing with Steve. Barry closed his eyes and took a deep breath, trying his hardest to remember why exactly he and Steve had been arguing. Nothing came flooding back to him though, and that's what annoyed him the most.

The room he was situated in was a dark grey, Barry noticed as his eyesight began to clear up. He was in his suit, he noted, looking down at his chest. He paled at the sight of it though. The sight before him reminded him too much of how he looked when he first arrived on this Earth, and that, he wasn't particularly fond about. The suit, which he was sure had around $8 million worth of technology in was trashed, the majority of it ripped away, revealing his naked torso. He slowly stood up, wincing as he felt the bone in his right leg shift with the pressure. That's why his leg ached so badly. He hobbled over towards the lone window in the room, gasping at his reflection. This really was like the first time he first saw himself after the Singularity. There was blood caked over his face, scratches and scrapes littering his whole face, blood leaking from the majority of them all. Luckily his cowl was still intact so at least his identity hadn't been revealed.

Barry wanted to speed out of the building and find Steve and the others but he couldn't run on his right leg, and he wasn't too sure about where they would be or where the exit was. Sure, the window showed him he was somewhere in the Icy Tundra but he didn't have any clue where to go. Besides, it wasn't like Tony put a backup GPS in his suit seeing as the majority of it had been fried. He raised his right hand to his comm, hearing nothing but static noises being emitted. Barry cursed softly.

Just then, the door to the room swung open, revealing multiple armed men. Barry turned to face them, not bothering to fight them as they dragged him out of the room and into another part of the building, but this room held no windows. He allowed for them to tie him down to the chair, gasping as he failed at phasing out of them. He could hear one of the guards around him start to laugh as they ripped his cowl off, making him flinch from the roughness.

The main door swung open, revealing someone Barry had heard a lot about. Red Skull. The man, or skeleton, well whatever he was approached Barry smiling maliciously. Barry tensed when Red Skull crouched down in front of him.

"So you're the man from the wrong Earth" Red Skull laughed, grabbing a fistful of the suit and pulling Barry towards his face, eyeing the younger man. Barry sighed in relief when Red Skull released the hold on his suit.

Red Skull turned to this man behind him, and Barry paled at the sight of the man's silver arm, "Crack him. I want to know everything about him, about his powers. I want to know everything about the Avengers too"

The soldier nodded and turned towards his colleagues, nodding at them. One of them grabbed the seat Barry had been strapped to and the other was waiting behind him. The soldier grabbed Barry's suit with his metal arm, smirking when he heard the man whimper from pain.

"What's your name?" He asked, seeming relatively calm. That still didn't stop Barry from gritting out, "Go to hell"

"Suit yourself" The soldier shrugged, letting go of the speedster. Just as the solider turned to walk out of the door he said something, and it made a chill run down Barry's spine.

"The name's Barnes, but you can call me the Winter Soldier"

And with that, Barry's head had been thrown into a bucket of water.

It went on like this for hours. Barry would refuse to give them any information and he'd get beaten for it. By the time he had been stabbed a fourth time, Barry had began to feel numb from it all. He could feel his mind start to slip away from the scene. When they began pushing his head underwater again, he didn't even bother to try and push them away, instead, he let them do it, giving in to what they wanted.

By the 8th hour since he had been kidnapped, Barry had started to believe all the taunts they were giving him. He had began giving them the information they wanted in small bits, not wanting to give them everything he had. He had to buy the Avengers some time.

Bucky walked in the room moments later, smirking as he saw the desperation on the Scarlet Speedster's face. He crouched down in front of Barry, his hands going towards the ropes tying the young man down. Barry looked at the soldier in shock as he helped him stand up and leave the room. Bucky took Barry to a room which seemed much nicer than the previous ones he had been in.

"Now, Mr. Allen," Red Skull began, "It's time"

Barry looked at Bucky in confusion.

"It's time for you to become one of us"
