Hal Jorden had not been on Earth to help the League after Batman had gone missing as he was called over to Oa to deal with some remaining members of the Sinestro corps. Hal Jordan was willing to accept any task the Guardians gave him at stopping Sinestro's corp as he felt that it was his fault that they got so far. Considering his past, he is not exactly wrong either Hal had gotten a lot better since his time during the Regime but he still had a way to go and he had recently lost his ex Carol as well.
"That is the last of them, Ring, take these Sinestro corps members to the Guardians," Green Lantern said.
"Hal," a Green Lantern Corps member shouted at Hal after coming to the scene.
"What is it?" Hal Jordan asked.
"The Guardians want to see you they have something very important to talk about," the Green Lantern Corps member said.
"You mean the stuff with the Sinestro corps I already have that covered," Hal Jordan said.
"It's not that," the Green Lantern Corps member said.
"Hal Jordan as we called you to Oa for help a major problem is happening on Earth," A guardian said.
"I understand that, but what is the problem?" Green Lantern asked.
"You're familiar with the Black Lanterns of death?" A guardian asked.
"Yeah, I am black rings that bring people back from the dead as zombies," Green Lantern answered.
"On Earth, someone named Black Hand has initiated the ancient even Blackest Night. He used his power to bring back several people as zombies what he plans to do, we don't know, but we need you to go and stop him," A guardian said.
"Black Lantern those things haven't shown up in thousands of years," Green Lantern said.
"You are correct about that, but they have now and we need you to go deal with them," A guardian said.
"You can count on me, I will head back to Earth straight away," Green Lantern said.
Green Lantern using the ring to quickly fly back to Earth making it there in a few minutes. He arrived in Gotham he knew this is where Batman and the rest of the League hung out. He first needed to get in contact with Batman and tell him what was going on.
"Batman, are you there I need to talk to you, Batman are you there," Green Lantern said in his communicator in his ring but got no response.
"I'm afraid that Batman won't be answering that," A man who looked a lot like Nightwing said.
"Damian of course you are involved in this somehow," Green Lantern said.
"I'm not Damian I need you to listen to me," The man said.
"I have heard enough," Green Lantern said.

"Something feels different about you," Green Lantern said.
"I tried to tell you it's me, Dick Grayson," Deadman said.
"Dick Grayson how can this be your dead I saw you die during the battle of Arkham," Green Lantern said.
"A gift from Deadman you could say. Your exactly the person I need I am guessing you were sent here to deal with the Black Lanterns," Deadman said.
"That is correct how did you know?" Green Lantern asked.
"There has been a great disturbance in the land of the dead several people at once have been brought back to life so I was sent to help. After looking around for a bit It seems that someone is using these Black power rings to bring back people from the dead," Deadman said.
"It is some guy named Black Hand that is behind this though what exactly he is planning I still have no idea," Green Lantern said.
"We need to get into contact with the rest of the League, this is the kind of stuff that they handle," Deadman said.
"Speaking of which, do you have any idea where Batman is, as you saw I can't get in contact with him?" Green Lantern asked.
"I wish I knew exactly where he was but all I know is he went missing," Deadman said.
"That is unfortunate I was hoping that you knew something. Wait for a second if you're a ghost how do you have a physical body?" Green Lantern asked.
"Oh, this is not my body you see normally I am invisible to everyone but I can control other people. So I found a guy who wanted to be a hero, but lacked the skill and used his body," Deadman said.
"That is pretty smart," Green Lantern said.
"Yeah proved to be quite challenging as well," Deadman said.
"Also, do you have any idea exactly who Black Hand has resurrected to his side?" Green Lantern asked.
"Um, Jordan your not going to like this, but," Before Deadman could finish that suddenly they both heard a loud noise.
"What was that?" Green Lantern wondered.
"Hal Jordan it has been a long time," Someone in the distance said.
"No, it can't be, not again," Hal Jordan turned around to see exactly who he wished it was not, it was Thaal Sinestro.
"Out of all the people that Black Hand choose to bring back, of course, it had to be you," Green Lantern said.
"This black power ring has given me a new purpose one of power and might soon the entire world will bow down to the New One Earth Regime," Sinestro said.
"The Regime is not coming back Sinestro never again," Green Lantern said.

"I should have never joined you Sinestro that was the biggest mistake of my life," Green Lantern said.
"Yeah, unfortunately, Sinestro is one of the people that Black Hand brought back," Deadman said.
"Do you know of anyone else that Black Hand has brought back?" Green Lantern asked.
"Well, I saw that Black Hand has busted Grundy out of jail So I am guessing he is going to use him. Shazam and Lex Luthor have also been resurrected."
"Great there not going to be happy to see me," Green Lantern said.
"They aren't the only ones," Someone else in the distance said.
Hal Jordan turned out and was mortified to see who it was even more than he was to see Sinestro. It was "Carol Ferris."
"Carol is no more you may now call me Star Sapphire," Star Sapphire said.
"No way is this happening," Green Lantern said.
"Who is this girl Jordan?" Deadman asked.
"This is Carol Ferris, she was my ex-girlfriend. She was killed during Brainiac's invasion I thought I lost her forever, but I guess Black Hand decided to bring you back solely for me I'm guessing," Green Lantern said.
"You never cared about me Hal Jordan and soon this whole world will be free from love," Star Sapphire said.

"Man Black Hand sure did a number on you," Green Lantern said.
"Not who I expected Black Hand to resurrect," Deadman said.
"What I'm wondering is how Black Hand was able to get her, I thought that she had been erased on Brainiac's ship," Green Lantern said.
"I wish I knew Jordan but the answer is only known to Black Hand," Deadman said.
"We need to find the rest of the League I know where the Batcave is follow me," Green Lantern.
Green Lantern and Deadman started moving towards the Batcave and eventually ended up near the entrance to Wayne Tower. However, a sleeper agent had been planted by Black Hand.
"Hal Jordan I see you have decided to return to Earth," Catwoman said.
"Selina man am I glad to see you," Green Lantern said.
"We need to regroup with the rest of the Justice League, let's get to the Batcave," Catwoman said.
The three started to move inside, but Green Lantern was noticing something was up about Catwoman. She was not leading the way she seemed to be waiting for them to get inside, which Hal Jordan found odd since Selina had visited more than him and knew the place inside out.
"Selina are you okay, you are acting very weird," Green Lantern.
"What do you mean?" Catwoman wondered stuttering from the comment.
"Do you know how to get inside the Batcave?" Green Lantern asked.
"Of course I do," Catwoman responded.
"In that case, why don't you lead the way," Green Lantern said.
"Uhhhh," Catwoman said and then right after attacked Deadman to the ground.
"I knew something was up, time to get rid of whatever is controlling you," Green Lantern said.
(Match 4: Green Lantern Vs Catwoman)
"Ring, analyze Selina Kyle," Green Lantern said.
"Nice job Hal Jordan, and I'm supposed to be the smart one," Deadman said.
"Don't get ahead of yourself," Green Lantern said.
After purging the mind control from Catwoman, she woke up.
"Thanks for that Jordan," Catwoman said.
"How did you end up mind-controlled was it Black Hand's doing?" Green Lantern asked.
"No, it was Raven," Catwoman said.
"Raven she is still alive," Green Lantern said surprised.
"Yeah, I was surprised as well it seems that she has teamed up with Black Hand and they plan to restore the Regime," Catwoman said.
"This is not good we need to get into contact with the League asap," Deadman said.
"If your trying to contact Batman it won't work he has been brainwashed by Raven. Try contacting Harley she is the one leading the league right now," Catwoman said.
"Before Metropolis I never could have even imagined a day where Harley was the one leading the Justice League but here we are. Harley are you there, it's me Hal Jordan I am back to help," Green Lantern said.
"That is good Lantern," Harley Quinn said.
