ALEX

"Super Girl we need you back at the DEO ASAP." I don't know how much more of this I can take. There was a thud behind me, before I even turned to see I knew it was Kara (AKA Super Girl) my adoptive sister. "Al, what's up?" Kara looked worried. "I didn't want to do this to you, but you have a right to know." I looked down at my feet, I just couldn't look at Kara's face when I broke her heart. "I'm not sure if it's best to tell you or show you, what would you prefer?" I hated that it was me that found out, but Kara is my little sister, and I will do anything to protect her. "Alex please just show me for Rao's sake!" Kara was getting annoyed at me for putting off telling her what I knew. I walked over to the computer and pressed play on the video I had been sent anonymously, I watched Kara's face I hated what this was going to do to her, but I couldn't let her go through with it without knowing.

The video showed a man and a woman sitting really close in a bar and the man leaned into the woman and kissed her, after a few seconds they part, he then moves in again and the kiss lasts even longer this time. Then the man gets up and takes the woman by the hand and heads for the bathroom.

I jump the video to the point where they are about to come out of the bathroom, I know the exact time because I watched it hundreds of times hoping that I was wrong, wracking my brains to find an explanation that isn't going to destroy Kara's world.

The man exits the bathroom first, he is fiddling with the zip on his trousers while the woman follows him closely behind. Her hair all messed up and blouse open at the top she pulls down her skirt and smooths it off.

"I … Is that Mon-El?" I watched the first tear fall from her eye she quickly wiped it away, but I had already seen it. "Kara I'm sorry I wished I didn't have to tell you." Kara turned and grabbed me, a little too tight if I'm being honest. "W … why would he do this to me. H … how could he do this to us, we are meant to be getting married next week." Kara began to sob into my shoulder. I rubbed her back and spoke into her ear "Talk to him, let him explain then we can kick his Daxamite ass." This made Kara laugh. "Alex please don't tell J'onn you know what he's like." Kara looked at me with her puppy eyes knowing I can't argue with her. "Also do you know who sent you the video?". "Not yet but I have Winn working on it and if anyone can find out who it is it will be him." Kara nodded at me before heading off to talk to Mon-el. I sure has hell wouldn't want to be Mon-El right now I thought to myself.

KARA

How could he do this to me, to us. I promised Alex, I would hear him out, but this anger is burning inside me I want to hurt him like he's hurt me. I head to Al's Dive Bar Mon-El is normally there while I'm out saving the world. As I walk in, I'm greeted by many of the aliens drinking in there. I look around searching for the woman in the video footage after all it was in this bar it happened anyone in this room could have been the one who sent Alex the file. I scan the building he's not here that's a good thing I didn't want to do this here in front of everyone. I head back to our apartment to find Mon-El asleep in our bed, my anger rose I picked up the nearest thing to me, the tv and threw it at him I knew it wouldn't hurt him, but I hoped it would. Mon-El jump up and looked into my eyes. "Kara, please honey let me explain." I promised Alex I would listen to him, but this is too hard. "Well go on I'm listening, and it better be good for your sake." I watched as Mon-El swallowed and looked at his feet. "I was being sent Alderbaranian rum you know how much I love that drink and next thing I know she came over with another drink. I don't know what I was thinking it just happened I'm sorry Kara." I couldn't speak I needed to get away from him, I wished it wasn't true that it was a fake video that someone had made to stir up trouble I needed to get far away from him as possible before I did something I would regret. I walked over to the window and shot off into the air.

Mon-El

I watched as Kara flew off, how did she find out? I needed to see if she was the one who told Kara she promised me she wouldn't. I quickly got dressed and headed for the door just as I was about to open it there was a knock from the other side. I opened the door to see Alex my soon to be sister-in-law well maybe not now.

"What the hell was you doing Mon-El you have broken my sister's heart I will make sure she will never forgive you and before you even say anything I know who she is, it will destroy Kara even more if she found out you cheated on her with someone who works for the Luthor's!" "Alex, I didn't know she worked for them honestly and I know I shouldn't have done it, but this is between me, and Kara so stay out of it." Alex took a step closer to me and spoke through her gritted teeth. "One, do not tell me to stay out of it she's my little sister and I will do anything to protect her and two, I was sent the video of you two and I had to be the one to tell Kara. So do us all a favour and take your disgusting Daxem ass and all your things out of Kara's apartment."

Alex always got herself involved with mine and Kara's relationship maybe she planned all of this but there is no way on this earth I'm letting her come between me and Kara fixing things. "Just for your information Alex this is mine and Kara's apartment and I want you to leave now!" Alex turned and headed back out the door she turned back to face me she spoke with so much hatred "Over my dead body will you and Kara fix this." I watched as Alex stormed off, I needed to speak with Eve now and find out who recorded us and sent it to the DEO to Alex of all people.

Alex

How dare he! My phone started ringing I looked at the display it was Winn. "Winn what have you got?" I had a bad feeling about this. "Alex you're not going to like this but we need to tell Kara the video was sent in by no other than Lex Luthor and he didn't even try to hide his identity he knows we would see who it was that sent it so what is he up to." Yeah, I didn't like this at all, and Winn was right we do need to tell Kara. "Thanks Winn leave it with me." I hung up the phone and sent a text to Kara. I have an update on the video meet me at my apartment in 20 minutes. I quickly sent a text to my girlfriend Maggie. Sorry may have to rearrange our date tonight. I will explain as soon as I can. I love you.

20 minutes later I was just opening the door to my apartment Kara was standing in the kitchen hands on her hips. "What's the update I've been waiting ages for you." I could see she had been crying her eyes were red I walked over to her and hugged her she stiffened a little. "Winn found out who sent the video, and I really don't like this." Kara was clearing getting impatient with me. "Alex, just tell me for Rao's sake!"

I walk over to my sofa and sit down I motion to Kara to take a seat next to me. I waited till Kara had seated next to me before I began. "Kara the woman Mon-El cheated on you with is called Eve Teschmacher. The person who sent the video is her boss Lex Luthor." I watched the shock then fear spread across Kara's face. "Maybe Mon-El was set up then." Kara was trying to find an excuse for him, but I wasn't going to let that happen. "Kara no don't you dare make excuses for him even if they did plan this, he still had sex with her he could have walked away he kissed her they left together."

I hated doing this to Kara, but it was the truth. "I think we should call Kal this is Lex after all." Kara just looked at me and nodded. "I will ask him to fly up here." Without saying another word, she got up and flew out the window. I thought about the last time she was like this when we were in school together and her best friend was murdered. Kara never lets people get close and the one person she did he goes and does this to her.

Kara

I always loved the wind blowing over my face and through my hair flying helps me to think up here is my favourite place. I was lost in thought when I heard a swoosh next to me, I turned to see my cousin Kal. "Hey Kara, you said you needed to see me urgently?" Kal looked at me with his dorky smile. "You won't be smiling when you find out why I have asked you here." The smile disappeared from Kal's face. "Let's head to the DEO we can talk there I don't want to go home yet." Kal looked at me quizzingly but didn't say anything he knew I would talk to him when I was ready. Within minutes we were in the DEO Winn nodded to me but carried on working on the computer he was at. "I need you to promise to listen to everything I say and not go off and kill him before I finish." I looked at Kal's confused face. "Kara, I can't promise anything if anyone has hurt you then I will teach them a lesson. But I will try my best so please tell me what's wrong you're worrying me."

I paced the room not sure how much I should say but I knew I needed to tell him everything in order to find out what Lex was planning. "Mon-El has cheated on me btu that's not the reason I called you here. Alex was sent a video showing Mon-El cheating the woman has been identified as Lex's personal assistant her name is Eve" before I could finish Kal spoke "Eve Teschmacher I know of her." I saw Kal's jaw clench this wasn't a good sign. "Yeah, so he cheated on me with her but the video was sent by none other than Lex himself he didn't attempt to hide his identity so that makes us think that he's planning something." I looked at Kal his jaw and fists now clenched. "I'm going to kill that Daxamite then I'm going after Lex.
