Dean sat on a bench in the locker room when Roman and Seth came back all sweaty after having fought each other for the main event. No one else was in there. They were the final two to shower and get dressed.

"Good match," Dean said.
"Thanks," Seth said.
"We always deliver," Roman smirked.
"What do you say we all go out afterwards? Like old times," Dean said.
"I got plans," Seth said.
"What plans?" Dean asked.
"None of your business," Seth said.
"Don't fight," Roman sighed. "I'm really tired, Dean. In case you didn't notice, we just went 30 minutes no disqualification in there. I'm so fucking beat up that I just wanna sleep. Another time."
"Your loss," Dean said.

Roman and Seth undressed and went to shower. Dean waited a minute and then stepped up the showers. He leaned his shoulder against the wall and stared at Seth.

"Why are you staring at me like that?" Seth asked.
"Are you upset that I can have her at any given moment?" Dean asked.

Seth opened his mouth to say something but no words came out. Dean smirked at the lack of response. Seth knew exactly who Dean was talking about. To Seth it was clear Dean knew about him and Petra. He had most likely seen Seth touch Petra's ass in catering earlier, and had connected the dots on his own.

"I'll just snap my fingers and she'll come running," Dean said.

Seth took a deep breath. There was a time Dean would be able to make Seth angry. Not anymore. Things had changed.

"She hasn't called you once," Seth said.

Dean's jaw dropped and Seth smirked. Seth had just gotten the upper hand by calling Dean out on reality. Petra had not reached out to Dean since he left.

"I'll prove it to you," Dean said.
"What?" Seth asked.
"Remember to wash your balls," Dean smirked.

Dean turned around and hurried out of the locker room.

"Dean!" Roman yelled. "What the fuck are you planning on doing?"
"Roman!" Seth said loudly.

Both men turned off the water. They ran to their clothes and got dressed in record speed. They ran through the arena searching for Dean and Petra. Seth froze for a second when he heard Dean's angry voice.

"What the fuck does that little shit have that I don't?" Dean asked angrily. "You fucking jumped on his dick the moment I was gone."
"That's not true," Petra said.
"I waited for you!" Dean yelled. "And what did you do? You fucking resigned here. Why?"
"To get away from you," Petra said.

Seth looked at Roman, and both men hurried into the room. Petra was standing up against the wall. Dean was in front of her. He was towering above her and looked threatening. He had one hand on the wall next to her face.

"You never cared," Petra said. "I've always been alone and you used that against me. You made sure I needed you. You made sure to give me enough to keep coming back for more. I was fucking scared to be left by you too, but you were never there. Even when I was with you, I was alone."
"See a fucking therapist," Dean said. "Look, I get it. Seth is good looking. You were curious. You had your fun. He doesn't care about you. You already know that. You're just a free fuck to him."
"And what am I to you then?" Petra asked.

Dean reached his free hand forward and grabbed a lock of her hair. Seth gritted his teeth in anger. Roman grabbed Seth's arm to hold him back so he wouldn't jump on Dean. This was an important moment for Petra. Neither her or Dean had noticed the other two men in the room. This was the truth that Seth needed to see.

"We always have fun," Dean said.
"You have fun," Petra said.
"You're always so willing to jump on my dick," Dean smirked. "And you will again tonight. I booked a hotel room. Let's go there and have fun like we always do."

He leaned down to kiss her. Seth held his breath. Dean's face was right in front of Petra's. If she let him kiss her, there was no going back.

"I love him," Petra said.
"That's sweet. I always knew you loved me," Dean said.
"Not you. Him. I love him. I love Seth," Petra said.

Seth felt like he could breathe again. He couldn't stop himself. He started giggling. Dean and Petra both looked over at Seth and Roman.

"I love you too, beautiful," Seth said.
"Well, ain't that just fucking sweet?" Dean growled. "He'll leave you too, Petra. Everyone fucking leaves you. You're horrendous to be around in the long run."
"Is that why you keep calling me?" Petra asked. "There's a reason I never answer your calls. I told them you don't call because it was easier than to explain back then. I should have blocked your number, and I will tonight. There's a reason I haven't called you once since you left. I want you out of my life. I'll rather be alone for the rest of my life than have you in it."
"And alone you will be," Dean said. "Bitch!"
"Enough!" Roman growled. "You don't talk to her like that. She's not alone. She has us. And we're both sick of you as well. Leave and stay gone. There's nothing more for you here."

Dean bared his teeth but he had no more words to say. He stomped towards Roman and banged his shoulder into his former friend as he passed him.

"Very mature," Roman said.
"Asshole!" Dean growled.

Dean disappeared out of the room. Seth walked over to Petra and placed his hands on her cheeks. Tears were running down her face, and he wasn't sure why they fell. Probably a weird mix of anger, fear, pain and relief.

"Easy. Take it slow. Just breathe, beautiful. He's gone. He can't hurt you anymore," Seth said.
"A decade," Petra said.
"A decade? I don't understand," Seth said.
"You and Roman have been with me for almost a decade. You're still here. I didn't realize that until today. It's been nearly 10 years and you still haven't left," Petra said.
"And we never will," Roman said. "Although I'm gonna go back to the locker room now and start packing our things. You two take your time. I'll wait by the car."

Roman walked out of the room and left Seth and Petra in there. Seth leaned down and pressed his lips against hers.

"You came for me," she said.
"Of course," he said. "He talked some shit in the locker room and I was not going to let him hurt you in any way. We ran from our showers to find you."
"That's why your clothes is wet," she chuckled.
"I almost ran out naked," he chuckled too.
"I'm sorry I lied," she said. "He calls but I never answer. I will block him. I just had a hard time coming to terms with what I was feeling inside. That I want him out of my life for good."
"Don't worry about it. I'm not mad. I understand," he said.

She grabbed his t-shirt and pulled him down for another kiss.

"I love you," she said.
"I love you too," he said. "I'm forever your clown."

She let out a little laugh at that. He smiled at the sound. It was nice hearing her laugh through her tears.

"Forever is a long time," she said.
"It feels like too little time when I'm with you," he said.

He kissed her again and moved his lips over her cheek and over to her ear. He wrapped his arms around her and hugged her.

"Move in with me," he said.
"Okay," she nodded.
"Okay?" He asked.
"I'd love to," she said. "But just so we're clear, I'm never calling you master."

It was his turn to laugh. He hugged her tighter and kissed the top of her head.

"Clown is growing on me," he said.
