Hey there, i just wanted to say that updates to this story will be pretty random so yea enjoy.

also minor oc alert

Sans is used to weird stuff, and that is no joke. After all his world is in control of a random kid that fell to the underground, and they use everyone else like their own toys and many times kill everyone on the underground.

Heck even before the kid a flower did all of that instead. But right now him watching the moon being broken to pieces like it was his own hopes and dreams, tells him that he really should consider talking to the psychiatrist.

"well ive never gotten to see the moon before but im pretty sure its not supposed to look all broken, and uh yeah that broken"

He stopped moving the moving the moment he saw the moon, he doesnt understand how that happend or when but he now knows that this could only mean a few things.

'OK so moon is broken, uh its NOT meant to be like that so that could only mean a few things, either A, i somehow ended up in the far, Far future and now mosters somehow became very primitive and violent and someone, somehow broke the moon"

While there is a chance that could somehow happend to him, it was still not a very big one and he doubts monsters would suddenly just devolve like that for no reason. And it couldnt be the past because well grenade launcher and weird glass phone thing.

'option B, i have somehow travaled to an alternate timeline where monsters are like this for some reason...but something is off about this place...i cant really get a good feeling with the magic in this place...feels odd. And my own magic feels different from this place so im not sure about this option either'

Now things get complicated because the last option is probably the worst case scenario.

'And lastly option C...i...somehow ended up in another world comepletely...this one is the most likely, but i cant really be sure. i've not really met any alive humans around here to ask so...'

Sans sighed "welp guess i'll have to look around and hope to find a place with humans, and hope that they dont hate monsters...i mean if this is another world then what are the chances of it being a world full very discriminatory people against other species that arent human? right?"

"Meow"

"i'll take that as a good meow"

After finding a good spot on a tree branch that could hopefully support the fat boned skeleton and his small companion, sans takes half a second to fall asleep, the cat following soon after.

Meanwhile somewhere in the cold depths of ATLAS a conversation between two important individuals are having a delicate conversation far from each other.

"Ozpin i assume you recived my message about that strange energy reading we got a few hours ago"

"Ah yes Glynda also showed me the same reading...but what i am curious about is since when could we detect energy like this? I feel like i would remember having a machine that could do so..."

"Ozpin this is serious, this type of energy has never seen before in the history of Remnant, you wouldn't happen to know anything about this would you?"

"...I can't say...i felt something very familiar but very different when the energy struck...it reminded me of magic but different..."

"We will keep looking for the point of origin of this strange energy, on another note did you manage to convince the maiden?"

"Yes as a matter of fact she should be on her way to beacon right now, she might not like it but this is for her own good, and she understands this"

"Well those are some good news, Ill keep you updated if we manage to find the point of origin of the strange energy"

"Very well old friend, I shall take my leave now" *boop*

'I am not sure what that energy was, but i will find out and make sure that its not a threat for humans and faunus...hmm now that ozpin mentions it, I dont actually recall asking for a machine that could detect energy like that'

Sans woke up yawning with a cat on his face, licking him like crazy.

"g´mornin lil guy, what is it that its making me suddenly taste very delicious to you?"

"Mreow"

"...oh, you must be hungry, uh here i got a few of these" Sans then pulls out a Hotcat out of his 'magical' pockets "i'd normaly charge you for one but eh, ill give you a full friend discount, how does that sound?"

"Meow"

The cat then starts to eat the Hotcat like its life depended on it "wow you Mustard been pretty hungry to eat it so quickly" said sans while pulling another hot cat and adding a bit of ketchup and mustard to it "i don´t think ill ketchup to you heh"

After a nice and not healthy breakfeast sans and the cat got down from the tree via shortcut, and tried to come up with a plan of action.

"ok so i guess the first thing that i should do is find a human village, there might be one close by since there was a human body just laying around here but I am not too sure"

"Meow"

"we could also try to find a high enough spot and see if we can spot a village, and then just use a shortcut to reach it...tho using shortcuts over large distances on places i havent been before does tire me out a bit"

'now that i think about it that human probably had a map or something with him...welp i dont remember in which direction that was and i didn´t set a shortcut point there so..."

"what do you think?"

"Purr"

"Well said, yeah i think i´ll go for plan A, since i feel like humans would freak out if i just pop in out of nowhere...hmm, best keep up my hoodie to avoid any unwated attention"

'wow i did not think about it before but...I could die for real this time if im not careful, i havent felt any type of dejavu or anything like that...well thats just great. that only means more work for me' sans sighed.

"alright then bud, lets get going"

"Meow"

And so sans set off once again on another random direction in hopes of finding a human village, and getting more information about where he is currently. After a while sans got a bit bored and decided to practice jokes with the cat, making many horrible cat related puns. It got so bad that the cat tried to bite off his own ears.

"ok, ok i get ya, no more cat pun...after all that would be a CATastrophe"

"HISS"

"Fine fine that was the last one, and im running out of material anyway-"

then sans finally found what looked like road "well now about time we found something eh?"

"meow"

"now lets go...eh this way"

And so sans and the cat followed the road hoping to find anything that looked like civilization. After a while sans heard a scream coming from the forest, and while he really wanted to ignore it and move on, he knew his brother would scold him for not jumping into action like he would most likely would.

So sans decided to get close but not too close and check it out, if he was lucky it might not even be anything serious...oh that guy is bleeding a lot never mind.

There was a guy trying to keep away what sans could only guess was a bear with black fur and a mask on, pretty similar looking to the wolves from before. The weapon the guy was trying to use looked beyond broken, and he just recived a pretty nasty wound to his arm.

Sans sighed 'right i forgot i am as lucky as a rock'

"Meow"

"yes yes i am gonna help the kid out, just stay here this time m´kay?"

"meow"

Cye was having a bad time, first one of his team member dies because he thought he could take a pack of beowolves by himself to try and win some stupid bet, then after we bury what was left of him his team dissbands because nonone could find who to blame, and now he got lost trying to find a way back to the village where they came from in the first place. And now he is gonna die because of a damned ursa and his dumb broken gun 'my aura is broken,...this is it this is the end of me'

"g-guess dad was right"

And so the ursa brought the final blow upon the human ending his life.

Well that was the plan atleast until the ursa suddenly decided to break the laws of physics, started to float and was launched away towards the sky by some invisible force.

"woah did you see that? crazy amma right?"

"H-huh?" Next to Cye was a pretty short guy, he was wearing a blue jacket and his face could not been seen to well due to the hoodie that he had on obscuring his features, but he could barely see two white little dots staring back at him.

"W-who are you?"

"huh? really? that bear thing just went flying and you ask who am i?"

"...I-"

"Well that seems logical to me, name´s sans the...comic, yeah that"

"Oh...did..did you do that? was that your semblance?"

'sem- what now?'

"i dunno i just heard a very manly scream coming from this way and decided to check it out. i would give you a handshake buuut" looking down at Cye arm, it was still bleeding heavly "you should probably get that checked out"

"OH GOD I THINK I SEE MY BONES!"

"ok ok kid calm down, here"

Sans then pulls out a Hotcat from his pocket "eat this, it will help"

"...T-THATS A HOT DOG!" "Uh no? Its a Hotcat duh, and besides trust me it will help, less you want to ynow bleed to death?"

Cye was about to protest but considering that he was most likely going to die either way, he might aswell have a good meal before dying "F-fine just give me the thing"

After taking a few bites of the Hot cat Cye wounds began to close up and he could even feel his aura coming back to him!

"Woah what the hell did you put on these thing?"

"lots and lots of love and sweat"

"I feel good...no i feel great! thanks man! i can even feel my aura coming back to me!"

"...your what now?"

"my aura? what kinda question is that? only a idiot would not know what aura is"

"...well uh would you be able to entretain this idiot?"

"wait you really dont know? and you are out here in a forest full of grimm without aura?! the what the heck was that with the ursa?!"

"...the wind?"

Cye sighed "I dont have time for this we have to move away from here, or more grimm will show up. But i still dont know where the damned road is!"

"oh you mean the road that is just back that way?"

"...I hate my life" So sans and Cye got back on the road with the cat rejoining sans, and they started to walk the way back into the village.

"Anyways i didn´t get a hold of your name kid"

"What? oh, call me Cye"

"Well Cye whatcha gonna do when you head back into town?" staring at the ground for a couple of seconds Cye then said "Well i have to report all that happend to my team...and then to be honest, I think im gonna leave this whole hunter stuff. Dad was right about it, its not as easy as it seems"

'Hunter huh' "Well if that whole hunter thing didnt work for you, Im sure you will find something else to do"

Cye sighed "yeah i guess...hey wait you dont have aura right?"

"Nope not that i can think of anyways"

"Well as a thanks for saving my life, how about I awaken you aura?"

"Well first off, remember that i don´t know what aura is, ya didnt tell me and second are there any weird side effects on it?" sans did not want to catch some weird other worldly disiese from some random guy trying to awaken something inside him...wow that did not sound good.

"Aura is just a force field that covers your body and protects you from taking any real damage, and also makes you stronger, faster, etc and no it doesn´t have weird side effects beside aura exaustion i guess" Well that didnt sound too bad, but sans wasn´t sure if this aura thing would even work on him.

"Well i mean i guess you could go on and try i guess" not that i got much to lose for trying.

"alright just stay still for a second" sans the stood still and watched as cye lifted his hand close to him and began to chant something weird about inmortality and other weird stuff

"is that whole chant thing necesary?"

"To be honest ive got no clue but might aswell" after the ritual is done sans feels...not really different at all

"uh did it work?" Asked sans while looking at himself.

"Im not sure, I think i felt Something when i tried to pull your aura but im not sure if it manifested right...guess you will have to wait?"

"eh, sure maybe it will come out later or something" 'or maybe it simply did not work on me, and to be honest it would not really suprise me'

"oh hey we finally made it to the village" Sans looked at the distance and saw the little human village

"Oh neat, finally get to rest my bones"

"Also ive wanted to ask, whats with the hoodie? i cant really see your face with it on you know"

"Eh something about my religion dont worry about it" Sans came with the first excuse he could come up with.

"...Well if you say so"

'good thing this covers my face really well...tho i should get something else just in case' sans then realized that he had no monney, and did not know what type of currency they would take in this place.

'Hope they can take gold as payment...'

After passing some guards sans and Cye finally managed to enter the village.

"Well this is we part ways, It was...nice meeting you i guess?"

"Right back at ya kid, and don´t worry, im sure you will be just fine with the whole hunter thing"

"Yeah...well if you need anything ask for my name in the guild cya sans!"

"yeah Cye kid"

walking away from eachother cye noticed that sans had made a pun with his name, and that got a little chuckle out of him.

"well bud looks like we made it to the village in one piece"

"meow"

"now all we need to do its to find a place where to stay" 'and maybe something to cover my face more...good thing i wear gloves for no reason'

'now where to look...oh i cant read anything written on this place...well thats inconvenient'

"Meow"

"oh hey good idea, i´ll just ask someone"

walking around, sans got close the the nearest person close to him "heya lady, i was hoping i could ask you for some directions"

The girl in question stared at sans for a bit, as if trying to figure him out.

"i know im pretty good lookin my self, but i would really apriciate it if you could just point me to the nearest inn"

The girl then noddded and pointed behind sans and said "Just keep walking that way and take a turn to the right, its the biggest building around here"

"Hey thanks, you would not believe how tired i am right now, so again thanks"

"No problem..."

Sans then departed and followed the girls directions 'she seemed nice, but seemed a little weary, welp guess i can´t do anything about that. now that i know where the inn is all i gotta do now is find myself some good olbooks and start looking for information about this place'

"Meow"

"yes yes, we finally made it, but sadly we are just begining"

"Mreoww"

"I know right? so much work ahead of us...this will require many naps"

And so the skeleton and cat made it to the village and finally sans will be able to find out more about this place. Meanwhile the girl that sans talked to just got to the village aswell but has been on it before so she knows where to go, but she has to buy a few things before going to the inn.

After all she needed to get ready to meet with this Qrow person and meet Ozpin...then maybe be able to use her powers more efficiently and be able to help others better.

Little did she know that she was being observed, and that a evil plot was being made to take away the power that belongs to her.
