Hello guest! yes, you are right on that, but I also like to think that sans does have normal telekinesis that does work on nonliving objects such as the Grimm, but it's not as effective as his soul manipulation, I mean i can´t really think of another way in which sans managed to stack up so many freaking hotdogs on top of frisk´s head in Undertale.
For example, while he can carry a few Grimm, he can´t hold them all, so he can´t just grab like a giant nevermore or similar Grimm, the most he can muster are an Ursa and things smaller than one, and only one at the time and even then it does take a bit out of him when he uses it on them, so he can´t really say start grabbing a bunch of them and throw em around.
also, fun fact ruby could probably avoid sans soul manipulation if she turns into petals but would feel it again once she turns back to normal.
7sky Thanks a lot for the reviews! You are the first to point out my grammar mistakes and that means a heck of a lot to me! English is a second language to me so I´m bound to make those mistakes. So I´ll try to do better from now on! and also after posting this chapter I´m going back to edit the others to make em more readable! (Already done! hope the old chapters are a bit better now!)

James Ironwood going over all the information they had on this new individual named sans, to say that he was shocked to learn he could use magic was an understatement. He wanted to send Atlesian troops to find him as soon as possible and capture him, an individual such as him is not one he would look over and ignore. But Ozpin managed to calm him down assuring him that he had it under control, and that Qrow was following him.
While the fact that they knew where he was and were, he was heading, did calm down a bit, he still wanted to send troops to catch him at Argus. Ozpin however told him that they had no reason to do so, since he hadn´t done anything that would warrant an arrest of sorts. James argued that if he had even the slightest connection to Salem, then that should be enough to want to capture him. And even if he doesn´t then they should get to him before she does.
However, Ozpin argued that if they were to antagonize this individual, then they could retaliate, and they could lose a potential ally. James, after a few hours of discussion finally backed off, and called off his troops, but he told Ozpin that if things got out of hand, then he would come in and intervene.
At the very least the Fall maiden was now safe and sound in the walls of beacon, even if she lost half of her powers it was still a relief to see her safe at last. If there was one thing going for the mysterious individual, it was that he did stop Salem´s agents from taking all of her powers.
"General Ironwood sir." The voice of specialist Winter Schnee brought him back from his thoughts and James turned to see her saluting at him.
"Ah Winter, I hope you managed to find the location of the strange energy we detected." After a few day´s they managed to pinpoint the location of the strange energy, so he sent Winter and a small team to go and check it out.
"Yes, and I think you´ll find our findings…interesting to say the least." Winter then pulled out her scroll and opened various pictures of the presumed location of the energy, then handed her scroll to James.
James looked at the pictures one by one, with a confused expression "Winter, what am I seeing exactly?" the pictures were of a forest, or a tree in a forest to be more specific. One was of a tree with a broken branch, another of a bunch of chairs around said tree and lastly a small bowl besides a few bags of cat food.
"Sir that is the location, of the coordinates you sent us, and those items were all in said place, we managed to find small energy readings from that tree, but they are slowly becoming weaker, so analyzing the energy has become impossible, and soon it will disappear completely." Winter had been confused when she first arrived at the location, finding it strange that someone would just leave a bunch of random items in the middle of a forest.
James looked thoughtful for a moment, the location was extremely close to the village, the mysterious individual had first appeared, and seeing the cat food, reminded James that Ozpin told him that this person had a small black cat around him.
"Winter I want you to keep a small group of Atlesian soldiers to stay at that location and remain vigilant around it, if anything happens there, I want to be informed immediately, I´ll inform Ozpin of our findings." This was no coincidence, now James knew that whoever this 'sans' was, in someway connected to that strange energy, which made him even more wary of him.
"Yes sir" Winter then walked out of his office, once James was alone, he got ready to call Ozpin and inform him of these new developments. If this guy had magic and access to unknown energy, he could become either a powerful ally or a terrible adversary.
Sans was sitting eating a burger at the dinning cart of the train, enjoying the nice view of the station from his window because the train hasn´t left yet. He had to admit that he has never been in a train before, since the underground didn´t need one. There was the idea of building one once, but the blueprints for such train were found wet and destroyed with paw marks all over it. They never found the culprit, but they said they could hear someone singing 'tralala' happily in the distance.
He wouldn´t lie, he was kind of exited, he heard that the trip would take a day so he would sleep on the 'sleeping cart' so that also exited him. All though he wasn´t very exited to share a room with others, but he could handle it.
After finishing his burger and sharing his fries with Lil bud, who was hiding in his pocket to avoid trouble, he remembered that he forgot to grab his cat food, and his bowl. So, he quickly excused himself to the bathroom to take a shortcut back to the tree and take the food and the bowl.
"a 'right let´s go get you food bud, I'm sure my roommates won´t mind you- "sans took the shortcut to the tree, and was met with no cat food, nor bow, not even his chairs were there "…where-" then sans looked around to see a bunch of humans surrounding the tree but not looking at it. Sans then immediately took a shortcut back to the train. The Atlesian soldiers didn´t even notice his notice his sudden appearance.
"….Hey." said generic soldier 1.
"Yeah?" asked generic soldier 2.
"Do you ever wonder why we're here?"
Meanwhile back at the train sans was NOT having a good time "okaaaay then, guess those guys found my little spot, AND stole all of my stuff….which wasn´t much in the first place 'sight'." sans now had to find a better place to store all of his stuff AND buy more cat food 'really liked those chairs too…'
Sans got out of the bathroom, thinking thing´s couldn´t get worse "Hey there mister religious guy!" only for a drunk guy to appear in front of him "Been a while since we last saw each other! what a coincidence to find you here" Qrown said with a small smile on his face.
"oh hey, bird guy, how´s it goin? what a small world we must live in to find each other here." sans knew that this wasn´t a coincidence, he could see it in his expression that he was looking for him. But sans played along to avoid antagonizing the drunken man.
"Yeah, I have an assignment on Argus, so why are you heading to argus?"
"well since business isn´t doing so great at the villages, I thought I´d try my luck on the bigger cities."
"Really now? Weird, with how good those hotdog-"
"Hotcats" sans interrupted.
"….Hotcats were, you´d think you wouldn´t be having a hard time having costumers."
"Eh, maybe I just haven´t been trying hard enough." which was kind of true, since all he did was sit and wait for people to come to him and buy a hotcat from him.
"Yeah I guess so…"
"….."
There was an awkward silence after that, which neither of them was really enjoying "welp guess I´ll see you around?" then sans slowly walked away from the guy, went back to the dinning cart, and sat down back to were he was. Qrow sat down on another seat where he could still watch sans, while smiling at him.
'greeeat, now I gotta deal with this weirdo' sans was sure he knew that he lied about the whole hunter thing, so he wasn´t sure why he didn´t question him about it, but decided to just wait and hope to sneak past him once he reaches argus.
Then the train finally started to move, leaving the station behind and gaining up speed until he couldn´t see the station anymore "woah, this is pretty nice" sans could see the forest passing by at fast speeds and the sun shining down on it.
'Man pap´s would love to see this….all of them would, and undyne would probably want to get on top of the train, while pap´s tries to follow her lead, with asgore, tori and alphys trying to stop them while I watch, doing absolutely nothing to help.'
He could see it happening and it looked hilarious, with undyne opening a window and trying to get out with papyrus while screaming 'NGAAHHHHHH' and all the others pulling them back….or at least trying. "…soon, maybe I´ll get to see it with my own eye sockets…" sans muttered.
"See what?" sans blinked twice then looked behind him to see the familiar face of Lisa lavender and some guy he has never seen before.
"uh…." sans blinked once again in confusion.
"Cole did you get that?" asked Lisa to, who sans could only guess was Cole.
"N-no sorry Lisa but I forgot to charge my scroll" said Cole looking sheepishly at Lisa.
"Damnit Cole, I told you to charge it before leaving!" said Lisa scolding Cole.
"I forgot okay! Sorry!"
Sans watched amused at the couple´s antics then said "Heya, uh Lisa right? how´s it goin-"
"None of your business" said Lisa before stomping away to another seat, leaving Sans and Cole to stare at each other.
"….uh hi, name´s sans, guess you´re cole?" asked sans while pointing at Cole.
"Y-Yeah sorry about that, she can get a bit emotional at stuff like this." said Cole while scratching the back of his head.
"….are….are you guys following me?" asked sans, at an now panicked looking Cole.
"N-No?...Are you following us?" Cole responded, making sans chuckle a bit.
"guess not, so then there are no problems then" sans didn´t really care if they followed him. After all he could lose them once he reached Argus.
"Hey there again! Friend of yours?" asked Qrow who somehow managed to sneak into the conversation sitting in front of sans.
"eh, not really, just met this guy today. Cole, birdguy, birdguy, Cole" sans introduced them to each other before trying to stand up.
"welp it was nice to meet you, uh Cole, buut I´m going to take a nap now, since i´m as empty as the battery of your scroll" said sans while getting off the seat, trying to get away from Cole and Qrow.
"Aw, leaving already? C´mon, why not stay and enjoy some food with your roommate?" at that sans froze then turned around to face Qrow.
"pardon?" sans was not liking the implications of what Qrow said.
"What? you didn´t know? we are going to share bedroom´s together! Isn't that nice?" said Qrow giving him a big smile.
"really? well uh, sure I guess? but I rather go to sleep already" sans was about to go but was stopped again when Cole spoke up.
"Um, actually we also got the same room as you so…." sans the turned to Lisa, who was now looking away while drinking a glass of water.
'sigh' "well ain´t that just great" now sans knew that he had the luck of a rock, heck even a rock was luckier than this.
Then the train started to get close to a tunnel, Lisa got closer to the group leaving her glass of water on the table they were previously sitting on and sans said "look I dunno when you guys, suddenly decided to start a fanclub about me, and started to follow me, but I´d really appreciate it if you-"
"Goodness…you, should all discuss this on your own room like civilized adul-" said a weird guy eating a bunch of good smelling fries approaching Qrow from behind. Meanwhile another guy was walking towards all of them. Right as the train reached the tunnel, all lights went out.
Panic soon ensued on the few that were on the dinner cart, which wasn´t a lot, and sans decided to close his eyes to avoid the two white dots that made his eyes, to show off too much.
"Oh my"
"The heck? what happened to the lights?" asked Qrow while trying to not stumble around the darkness.
Then they all heard glass shattering.
"Woah!"
"Meow"
Then suddenly a drowned scream could be heard amongst them, which scared most of the people on the cart.
When the lights came back on, everything looked normal, except Qrow who was now, on the ground on his butt and the body that now laid on the ground with a bunch of fries surrounding him and his blood pool between Qrow, Sans, Lisa, Cole, and the weird guy, then chaos ensued.
Earlier
Cedar Cedric was having an enjoyable evening! taking a bite out of his fries while waiting for the train to start moving. He was a famous detective on Vacuo that solved crimes and placed bad guys right where they belong.A rare Gem for the people of Vacuo since the people there were...different from him to say the least. He wore a nice long coat and had small glasses that, did not look to well with his black and messed up hair.
He was going to the city of Argus to follow up on some suspicious white fang movements that had caught his eye and was already following a trail that could lead him to something bigger and sinister and dangerous….so he was quite exited!
He was at the dinner cart with a few other passengers, but non caught his attention, so he kept eating his fries while waiting for the train to start going. When it did a few of the passengers started to talk to each other. Then it started to sound much like a discussion which, did not really did well with his peaceful fry eating time, so he tried to tell them to take the conversation back to their room, since he could hear the whole thing.
But then they reached the tunnel and the light´s went down. between the chaos of the situation glass shattering could be heard and he could swear he heard a cat. And then the scream came, and after the scream he heard something snatched his fries from his hands!
Then when the lights came back on and the body was revealed, the few passengers that where on the cart began to scream while Qrow backed away from the body while Lisa and Cole began to scream while Lisa looked for her scroll at the same time. Sans was…. he didn´t look affected at all.
After Qrow and himself began to calm down all other passengers while sans, Lisa and Cole sat down on the seats close by, Qrow told them to not move from there. After calming down everyone he began to inspect the body, when Qrow tried to tell him to back away from it, he told him he was a detective showing him his ID.
"Huh well, that's pretty convenient I guess, but we should probably wait until we reach argus and let the police do their jobs."
"I would agree with you on that but sadly we cannot wait because-" Then Cedar moved the body to reveal a knife stuck in his throat! "This man has been murdered! which means that there is an Assassin among us!" He exclaimed while everyone else gasps at the revelation.
After Qrow tried to calm everyone down again Cedar began inspecting the body. It was a young cat faunus boy, with brown hair dark skin, shorts, and black shirt, one could see the horror in his eyes, which Cedar closed with his hands.
Cedar looked at the knife that was stuck on his throat, it looked like it was deep, which meant that it must have taken incredible force to be plunged so far into his throat. He looked around the body to find many of his fries on the ground and a broken glass of water right beside the body.
He began to count the fries when Qrow came back "OK I managed to calm down everyone and informed the conductor about the death, and told him to stop the train, there are now huntsman guarding the exits of the train, so no one is coming in or out."
"Very good, now would you be kind and tell everyone except the people you were talking to to leave the cart?" requested Cedar, which confused Qrow.
"What? Why? the murder could be hiding amongst them."
"It´s quite simple really, the body was no where near the other passengers, which could only mean…." Cedar said while looking at Sans, Qrow, Lisa and Cole "That our Murder is one of US"
After the passengers left Cedar began to his questioning the four suspects, beginning with Cole.

"So, mister Cole, can you describe what you were doing when the lights of the tunnel went off?"
"Y-Yeah to be honest, I got a little bit scared when it got dark, but I was just standing still waiting for the lights to return. I did saw the guy walking towards looking at his scroll while everyone else was talking, then when the lights went off, I felt something push me aside a little bit, not strong enough to make me fall, but it still startled me."
"I see…, well that is a bit strange, but I do not believe it was you, after all you were the furthest from the body….now tell me, who do you think it could have been out of the five of us?"
"Five? Wait….you are including yourself?" asked Cole confused.
"But of course! I was close to the body as well Afterall! I know for a fact that it wasn´t me but it wouldn´t be fair if I accused everyone but myself!"
"Huh, I guess so, uh now to your question, I don´t really know…I trust Lisa a lot so I don´t think it´s her, Qrow is a pretty famous Huntsman back in Vale but I don´t really know him personally, and then there is sans who…..well to be honest I know very little of….."
It seemed like Cole was hiding something, but Cedar wasn´t sure what it was, only that it might be related to this sans character.
Cole Copper: Not suspicious.
Next he questioned Lisa Lavender

Famous news reporter from Vale News Network and boss of Cole copper.
"Now then Miss Lisa, why don´t you tell me what you were doing when the lights went off?"
"Please just call me Lisa, miss makes me sound old" said Lisa a bit annoyed.
"Ah, my apologies, but if you could answer the question?"
"Right, I was standing next to Cole after I got closer to listen to the conversation better, when the lights went out, I tried to find my scroll to turn on a flashlight, but couldn´t find it. Then I think I heard something rushing fast, all though I could barely hear it with all the commotion around."
"Hmmm, well then let me ask you, who do you think it could have been out of the five of us?"
"Including yourself too huh? Good, that already makes you less suspicious, but to answer your question, I already have a suspect" said Lisa looking very proud.
"Oh? Do tell!"
"Sans, heck it should be obvious, he is very shady looking AND I know something about him, that confirms that its him!"
"Really! then please go ahead and tell me what that is!"
"…I can´t…." Lisa said, which confused Cedar a lot.
"What? Why not?"
"I don´t have any evidence, or at least not good one, but I saw the truth with my own eyes!...but that isn´t enough, and I need better evidence before doing anything, which I may come if you manage to pin him down as the Murder"
"Now now, It´s still too early for me to decide who the culprit is! But I will keep your words in mind."
Lisa Lavender: : Not too suspicious.
After Lisa he decided to question the most mysterious suspect.
Name: Comic Sans.
Age: Unknown.
Aura: Yes.
Semblance: Unknown.
A mysterious figure who covers his face with a hoodie and a red scarf, but two little white dots can be seen which I assume are his eyes. Nothing is known about this person other than he covers his face for 'Religious reasons' and that he kept falling asleep in the interrogation.
"Well then mister Sans? Was it? why don´t you go ahead and tell me what you were doing while the lights went off?"
"yup that's me, and I was actually just standing still doing nothin, which is my favorite thing to do."
"…..And that's all?"
"yep"
"…..Are you quite sure?" Cedar asked once again, since this was one of the more suspicious between the five of them, it was quite disappointing at how non caring this guy was about the whole thing.
"You didn´t seem too affected by the death of this young man, I must say."
"don´t get me wrong, it´s not that I don´t care but uh, I didn't know the guy so, I can´t really say anything about it other than Rest in Peace random faunus"
"I see, well then let me ask, who do you think it could have been out of the five of us?"
sans then yawned, looked at Cedar, then said "none."
"…..None?"
"yup, I don´t think it was any of us." said sans with absolute confidence on his words.
"Well, I´m sorry to say this, but it must have been one of us, it really couldn´t have been otherwise, and what makes you so sure about it anyways?" asked Cedar curious.
"I dunno, guess I´m a good judge of a character heh."
"Well that-"
"Meow" Then suddenly a cat poked his head out of sans pocket, holding between his little fangs a large fry.
"oh hey, where you get that bud?" sans asked while petting the cat, who was enjoying the large fry.
"Oh my, I do believe pets are not allowed at this part of the train."
"well, I mean, true but I couldn´t say no to that face" said sans while looking at the cat.
"And that fry…interesting, well I guess that will be all then."
Comic Sans: Suspicious?.
Now it was time to interrogate the last person.
Name: Qrow Branwen
Age: 38
Aura: Yes
Semblance: Misfortune.
Famous Huntsman that teaches on Signal academy on Vale and is the younger twin of the infamous Raven Branwen of the Branwen tribe, that he left many years ago. Also said to work for Ozpin, Headmaster of Beacon Academy.
"Well then Mister Qrow, you are the last one I need to question before I finish my interrogations! so let´s begin, shall we?"
"Whatever let´s just get this over with" said Qrow while getting comfy on his seat.
"Alright first let me ask you, what were you doing while the lights were off?" asked Cedar while leaning closer.
"Well, for starters I tried my best to not fall down, since being drunk and being in the dark do NOT mix well."
"So…you were intoxicated while the lights were off?"
"I´m always drunk, heck I´m kinda drunk right now."
"I see…well back on topic then." said Cedar trying to get back to Qrow story.
"Right, as I said I was trying to keep my balance when the sound of broken glass was heard by everyone, then suddenly I felt something pushing my left shoulder down, making me lose balance and making me fall to the ground on to my ass" Said Qrow looking a bit annoyed at the memory.
"Well I DID find it odd that, you were on the ground just like that….pretty odd indeed"
"Well that's kinda about it. Lights came back, dead kid on the ground 'sigh'" Qrow sighted sadly.
"You don´t seem very happy about his death…."
"Well of course not….but somehow I feel kind of guilty…like maybe it happened because of my semblance…" replied Qrow looking down at his hands.
"Hmm, your semblance is Misfortune if my memory serves me right?"
"Yeah, that thing is more of a curse than a semblance to be honest…"
"…Well my last question is, who do you think it could have been out of the five of us?"
"Hmph, I´m pretty sure we all have the same guy in mind." Said Qrow, to which Cedar nodded. He knew who he was referring to.
Qrow Branwen: Not suspicious.
After all the interrogations were over, Cedar brough everyone together at the scene of the crime. After reviewing the evidence and placing the pieces together, he thinks he might finally have the culprit of this mysterious murder.
"My friends, I have brough you together because I think I finally know who the culprit of this murder is! No, I know for sure I know who the culprit is!"
"About time" said Lisa while getting her scroll ready. She apparently left it in her room with her other stuff.
"Yeah I think we all have a pretty good picture on who it could have been" said Qrow while looking at sans.
"I think he means you bud" said sans while looking at Cole.
"W-WHAT?!" screams Cole in panic, to which Lisa and Qrow facepalm.
"Lets just get this over with" said Qrow to Cedar, who nodded in response.
"Well then! let us review everything first!" said Cedar while clapping his hands together "First I approached all of you after you were ruining my special time with my fries to tell you to take your discussion elsewhere! meanwhile this young faunus came from another cart and began to head our way." Cedar paused to see if everyone was paying attention then continued.
"When he was starting to get close to us, the train passed trough a tunnel, and at that very moment, all lights came off, which meant that the attack was planned beforehand! While the lights were off and chaos ensued, something rushed past Cole pushing him aside" Cedar looked at Cole who just nodded.
"At the same time Lisa heard something rush too, but it was harder to hear, and then the sound of glass breaking was heard by everyone, but not any glass but the glass of water that Lisa left on the table you were all sitting before."
"OH, so that's what that was!" said Lisa who looked a bit surprised it was her glass of water that broke.
"I mean, it was pretty obvious y´know" said sans while looking at Lisa, who just glared at him.
"Oh, shut it you!"
Then Qrow coughs to bring everyone´s attention back to Cedar "Why thank you Qrow now back to the case!" said Cedar while pointing at the fries that were close to the body with blood on them.
"Those fries were mine sadly, they were snatched by something moving really quickly towards my hand, which made me drop them all! But before that something also pushed Qrow´s shoulder, making him fall onto his bottoms!"
Qrow placed his hand on his back of the neck looking away from everyone else "You didn´t have to mention that you know?"
"Oh, but I had to! Since its another important piece of this puzzle!" Cedar said proudly.
"Can we hurry this up? I want to record the arrest for later" Lisa said getting her scroll ready.
"Hmph very well. Now with all the pieces in place I can finally say with absolute confidence that the culprit is!"
Everyone was looking at him with anticipation…well almost everyone, Sans was looking like he was about to fall asleep.
"NO ONE!"
Everyone´s jaw´s dropped to the ground, well again almost everyone´s, sans now has fully fallen asleep.
"W-What do you mean no one?! Someone clearly did something!" said Lisa on an exasperated way.
"Yeah, I kinda agree with, the crazy girl, I mean, last time I checked a body plus a knife equals murder." Said Qrow looking with doubt at Cedar. Cole was just lost now.
"Hohohoho! I understand your confusion! But I assure you that the cause of the dead of this young man was Suicide!"
Everyone looked surprised at the revelation, even sans decided to open his eyes again.
"I will now tell you exactly what happened! And how not only was this a suicide but also an attempt of murder!"
Everyone stayed silent to hear Cedar´s explanation.
"This young man was not, as innocent as he once seemed! If my deductions are correct, which always are! Then this Faunus was an assassin of the infamous White Fang!" Cedar paused remembering the very reason he came to this train to begin with "You see I am currently following a lead about suspicious White fang activity on Argus and I am currently heading there to investigate myself! Somehow the White fang must have caught wind of this and sent an assassin with deal with me!" said Cedar quite happily.
"The white fang? Guess I did hear some rumors about something regarding them on Argus, but how can you be so sure that he worked for them?" asked Qrow looking thoughtfully at Cedar.
"I will show you why later! but for now let me tell you how everything went down! First our friend here waited for his chance to strike me, he must have somehow hacked the lighting system and waited for the train to pass a tunnel, and when he saw me get up and saw a tunnel approaching and began his plan!"
Then Cedar turned and looked at Cole pointing at his direction "The moment the train passed the tunnel , He turned off the lights and rushed past Cole pushing him aside!" then Cedar placed his hand on his chin and said "I must say, it was a good plan! stab me in the dark and leave my body behind with a bunch of people close to it while he left while it was still dark! since he is a faunus he had no problem seeing on the dark!...but sadly for him, It appeared that fortune was on my side, or should I say…" He then turned and face Qrow "misfortune? for you see, this young man wasn´t the only one who rushed me! something else went after me too before him!, or well went for the fries I was holding! would this little friend of ours show itself?"
Everyone looked confused at that, but then poked his pocket and out of it, the little head of a small black cat appeared, yawning "looks like you´ve been found out bud, better give your self in now" everyone looked at the cat, Lisa remembered the little bastard, while Cole had no idea he had a cat, Qrow looked a bit surprised then said "Oh god I forgot you had that cat with you"
"The little bastard is yours?!...wow that kinda makes sense" Lisa glared at the cat, who hissed in return.
"Ok I´m getting a little lost here" admitted Cole, looking even more confused now.

"After he knocked the water off he then jumped again, onto Qrow´s shoulder to give itself a boost and head directly for my fries!" Cedar then petted the cat and gave him his last fry.
"What the cat didn´t know was that by knocking that water down, he managed to kill the assassin, saving my life! because the moment the glass of water broke and all of the water was now on the ground, the assassin Ran until he reached the puddle of water and tripped! causing him to fall by accident on to the knife he was going to stab me with but not only that, I believe all of this happened thanks to Qrow´s semblance as well!"
Qrown looked surprised then said, "Wait wait wait, are you saying that my semblance was the cause of all of this?!"
"Indeed! Your semblance affects everyone around you and maybe more to those with ill intent! so my guess is that thanks to your semblance, all of this was able to happen the way it did!"
"…so there was no murder, well there was going to be, but this guy and this cat managed to stop it?" asked Cole trying to understand what happened.
"YES! which means none of us are murders! and none of you are going to jail!"
"Damnit!" Exclaimed Lisa who got weird looks from everyone else "I mean, hooray?"
"Well, that's fine and dandy but we still don´t know if the kid was even with the white fang" Qrow was having a hard time believing this but considering that his semblance might have been in play, it might be possible.
"Ah but there is a way to know! we just have to check the luggage this young man brought with himself and see If we can find anything that could relate him to the white fang!"
"Hmm, a´right guess I´ll go check for his stuff, stay here" Then Qrow left to go and search for the luggage of the supposed assassin.
"I must say sans! I´m quite impressed you managed to guess no one was the killer from the five of us! I guess you really are a good judge of a character!" Cedar said while slapping sans back.
"heh told ya so, but now that this while uh, thing is over, can I go to my room and sleep?" asked a very tired skeleton.
"Well sure! but first let us check out this young man´s luggage to see if we find the last piece we need!
"Man, poor kid, he looked so young…. how could the white fang send someone like him to do something like this? have they really gone that far?" asked Cole looking pretty sad at the thought.
"Cole you should know this better than anyone, we've been covering all of the white fang movement…they are nothing but a terrorist group now…" Lisa knew far too well what the white fan were capable of and how far they are willing to go to accomplish their goal.
"…." sans stayed silent, his hopes to bring his family and all of monster kind to this place becoming less and less hopeful…but then he said "don´t let this get to your head kid, things might look pretty down to the dumps right now…. but that doesn´t mean that they can't get better, so just….stay determined…"
This surprised everyone on the room, the most affected being Lisa. But Cole took what sans said to his heart and said, "Yeah you´re right, I´m sure someday there won´t be the need of a white fang anymore!" Lisa and Cedar smiled at this, sans you stayed silent once again.
Then the train began to move once again.
"Well, I´m back with his bag, told the conductor to start up the train again, let´s see if your crazy theory it´s true" Qrow came back with a backpack that belonged to the dead faunus.
"Ah yes! time to put an end to this mystery!" They all gathered around the bag and Qrow opened it up, inside were some normal clothing a second scroll, and most importantly a mask that belonged to the white fang.
"Huh guess that settles it then, the kid was part of the white fang." Qrow then took the mask and began to inspect it.
"Marvelous! another mystery solved by my genius!" Cedar patted himself on the back.
"nice going uh detective, welp guess this mean me and lil bud can finally-" sans took a glance at the bag and noticed something hidden between all the clothes, and he could hear a low beeping sound.
"The hell is that sound?"
"Is…is that."
"Please don't tell me…."
"Oh my…."
"ah, well that's one way to drop a bomb on us."
A bomb, a ticking, active bomb was on the bag, and the timer said they had 1 minute with 30 seconds before it went off.
"HOLY CRAP WE ARE GONNA DIE AAHHHHHH!" screamed Cole while clutching hies head.
"Ok ok deep breath Lisa, VERY deep breaths" Lisa tried to calm herself to avoid fainting from fear which didn´t work well because she fell. Thankfully, Cole managed to grab her before she touched the ground.
"shitshitshitshitshit" Qrow was cursing without stop trying to remember how the hell to disable a bomb….not that he knew to begin with.
"This is not good, we cannot throw it away, it could damage the train, or the rail and it would still cause panic and attract Grimm!" Cedar was working his brain, into overlord trying to find a way to dispose of the bomb.
Everyone was trying to come up with a solution to avoid being blown up to smithereens. Sans just went ahead and grabbed the bomb and began to walk to the bathroom.
"H-Hey where are you going with that?!" asked Qrow trying to follow and stop sans when suddenly he started to feel REALLY heavy "The heck is this?!"
"don´t worry bud, I just had a Blast of an idea" then sans entered the bathroom and locked it, the bomb had only 10 seconds left before it detonated.
"You fool! what are you doing!" Cedar didn´t know what he was planning but surely, he won´t have enough time to do it!
Meanwhile Cole got ready for the explosion shielding Lisa with his body.
Meanwhile on a random forest on mistral…
"Hey…. what are they doing?" asked generic soldier 3.
"What?" said generic soldier 4.
"I said what are they doing now?" asked again generic soldier 3
"Gods damn Turk, I´m getting so sick of answering that question!" exclaimed generic soldier 4.
"Hey, you are the closest to them ok? I don't want them pulling a prank on me again" said generic soldier 4
"Okay okay, look they are just standing there and talking okay? that's all they are doing, that's all they EVER do just stand there and talk, That what they been doing a few days since we arrived and that's all they been doing when you asked me 5 minutes ago, and when you ask me again on what are they doing, I'm going to say that they are still just standing there and still talking there!"
"….What are they talking about-"
Then a strange guy popped out of nowhere "heya."
"What the?!"
"Freeze!"
Then generic soldiers 1 and 2 approached "Hey who the hell are you?" but before generic soldier 1 could ask more questions, they all saw the bomb he was holding.
"yeah, sorry bout this but uh, you all better run" then he disappeared once again leaving behind the bomb.
"HOLY MOTHER OF THE BROTHERS RUN!" Screamed generic soldier 4 and they all ran away from the device before the countdown reached zero.
"Hey guys! Why are we all running this directio-"
"CABOOSE GET THE FUCK DOWN!" Turk then tackled Caboose away from the device before a loud BOOM could be heard miles away from the forest.
Back on the train everyone else was waiting for the inevitable explosion…. that never came.
"The hack happened. Did he disable the bomb? Qrow looked confused at the bathroom where sans took the bomb, the moment he left he stopped feeling heavy.
Then the bathroom door clicked and opened, the sound of the toilet being flushed could be heard, and sans came out of it without the bomb on his hands.
"W-What happened to the bomb?" Asked Cole looking at sans with a confused expression.
"oh yeah, uh don´t worry about it, I threw it in the toilet then flushed, now if you excuse me." Then sans walked away ignoring the attempts of questioning him, walking straight into his room.
"…. In all of my life working as a detective, have I ever seen such way to dispose of an active bomb…. how fascinating."
"I need a fucking drink." Qrow then went to look for a really strong drink that would hopefully make him forget today ever happend.
"Ugh, did we die already? Is this hell?" Lisa asked while getting up with the help of Cole.
"To be honest boss, I don´t know."
"Please tell me I recorded all of that?" asked Lisa looking at Cole.
"…You look tired boss, you should head to bed."
"Gods…. Damnit Cole"
It was already nighttime, and sans was finally laying down on his bed, but sadly everyone else decided to NOW go to sleep as well, Cole took the bed above himself, while Qrow slept and the bed next to sans, Lisa was now sleeping in the bed above Qrow´s.
'Great, what if one of 'em tries to pull my hoodie down while I sleep? looks like I won´t get to sleep today huh…' Then sans looked to his side to see lil bud sitting down while watching Qrow and Lisa "Hey bud, what are you doing?" the cat didn´t respond and instead looked at sans then back to Qrow and Lisa "…. are…are you looking out for me?" the cat responded with a small meow.
"…. heh thanks a lot…. I own you one now huh?"
Then sans petted the cat and finally got sleep, while lil bud stayed up to make sure they didn´t try anything on sans.
The next day the train finally arrived at Argus, sans got his stuff and began to get off the train, he was now one step closer to Vale "Hey hotdog man" sans turned around to see Qrow walking towards him.
"Just wanted to say, good job dealing with that bomb and stuff, you really work well under pressure eh?"
"eh not really under pressure, but still thanks I guess."
"…Look we know that you lied about the whole hunter thing, I don´t really know why but still, there is someone who really needs to talk with you."
"really now? welp sorry bud but you are gonna have to tell 'em I ain´t interested" sans didn´t want to get involved with whatever that whole Amber situation was about and would rather stay low and finish his little project.
"You don´t get it, We know that whatever you do is magic, and Oz can use it too-"
"yeah, that's great and all, but I´m still not interested."
"Just listen won´t you? you are in danger now, those three guys work for someone very dangerous, that knows about magic too, they WILL come for you, we just want to help you!" Qrow didn´t know what kinda crazy magic powers this guy had, but he knew that Salem shouldn´t get her hands on him.
"again thanks for the offer bud, but I´m not interested" Sans began to walk away when Qrow called for his name to try one last thing.
"WAIT! you are heading to Vale, right?" asked Qrow, which made sans turn around and look at him.
"Then at least let me go with you there, to make sure that you make it safe, I am heading to Vale anyways."
"... i mean, suit yourself bud, not gonna stop ya for going the same place i´m going"
Qrow let out a breath of relief, at least now he can keep a better eye on him while he makes it to Vale and make sure he is safe.
"but, one thing, stop telling me to show you my face, seems like a fair exchange, right?"
"Fine whatever"
"Wait you are heading to Vale? Yes!" Exclaimed Lisa, while Cole carried a bunch of bags behind her.
"…lemme guess, you are also heading there" asked sans, knowing the answer already.
"Yes! I work there after all!" Lisa thought she would lose her chance to reveal the truth about sans to the world, but if he is heading to Vale then she wouldn´t have to worry about that anymore.
"…welp, looks like we are sticking together 'till we reach Vale huh" Sans looked at the three of them and wondered, if his semblance wasn´t misfortune like Qrow´s.
Sans sighted, grabbed his Hotcat stand, and got ready to enter the city of Argus.
"…..What do you mean someone just showed up and blew everything up?" asked a very confused Ironwood at Specialist Winter Schnee.
"Sir, the group of soldiers left to watch the spot reported that a strange man suddenly just appeared and left a bomb there, which they barely manage to avoid, since the same individual told them to run."
"Well, at least there were no loses." said James relieved.
"No sir all of them are fine but unconscious, but one of them got really injured, after the explosion after they somehow fell down the hole that the explosion left behind."
"Really now? how did that happened?
"We are not really sure sir, the only member that isn´t unconscious right now was the only one that could tell us what happened and all he said was and I quote 'Turk did it.'"
