Chapter 19: T-minus 36 hours

Sebastian's mouth pressed along the curve of Kurt's neck as they made breakfast. For once Kurt was letting Sebastian help him in the kitchen and not out of necessity. Kurt pressed back into Sebastian's chest and closed his eyes as he enjoyed the sensation.

"This is why I don't let you help me."

"Because you know if there isn't a counter between us that I won't be able to keep my hands off of you?" Sebastian asked in all honesty.

"Yes." Kurt answered and tipped his head even further back to allow him more access. "And I am unable to tell you to knock it off." It was the same reason Sebastian had Kurt stay out of the kitchen too when he cooked. It was equally as distracting whenever the other was the lead chef.

Kurt pulled away enough so he could turn around and link his arms around Sebastian's neck, pressing up close to him, letting Sebastian know that he was definitely not unaffected. "Shall we wait on breakfast than?"

"What do you think?" They didn't make it upstairs, they found a chair and Kurt sank onto it while Sebastian straddled him and both were completely naked.

Afterward, once they had both recovered enough for thoughts other than what just happened, Kurt surveyed the disaster and tipped his head back. "What a mess." They had gone without condoms this time.

Sebastian kissed Kurt's mouth and sent him toward the shower with a swat on his bottom. "I've got this."

"You're sure?" Kurt asked, looking at it, wondering if Sebastian would know what to use for the different materials. Whenever this happened in the past, Kurt had been the one to clean it up.

"I'm positive, now go, before I change my mind." Sebastian winked and Kurt scampered off upstairs to take a shower. They had a full day of activities ahead of them and this would be the only time they'd get alone until after the rehearsal dinner that evening. Even then, they were unlikely to get much time together.

The out of towners had actually all gotten hotel rooms this time. They figured it would just be easier to stay there the few days they were there rather than shlep back and forth between the different houses in the area and the wedding and reception area. With the way they were all planning to party this week, it made perfect sense.

Since they could easily afford it, Sebastian and Kurt were fronting the bill for everyone who attended their wedding, they'd bought out the hotel. They didn't want anyone to head anywhere drunk. No one was excluded either, all of Sebastian's friends over the years, relatives, and coworkers were invited. All of Kurt's numerous connections over the years were also invited.

Well... Karofsky (and the other bullies) weren't invited though they had once been on decent terms. Even then, Kurt had always been uncomfortable, and this wedding wasn't going to be about that. Even Sue, Emma and Will were going to be in attendance. Sue had invited herself and they had to invite Will if they were going to invite Emma. They sent Sue a Save the Date and Wedding invite when they knew she was planning on coming, because they did not want her to go Maleficent on them. They pretended it just got lost in the mail and she played along. Even Becky was coming, with the same story from Kurt and Sebastian.

Sebastian joined Kurt shortly later in the shower and helped him wash the difficult to reach areas while Kurt did the same for him. They ended up getting a lot more messy before they were finally clean and dry and dressed again.

"Let's just go to breakfast." Kurt finally suggested. "We have our favorite coffee shop and the secluded booth..." He lifted a suggestive brow and Sebastian thought of their half-cooked breakfast and nodded.

"There was no saving that, was there?" Kurt shook his head and Sebastian hooked an arm around Kurt's shoulders. "Ok then, let's go." He'd already tossed it out, he just knew Kurt would be upset if he knew food got thrown out that could be saved. If Kurt had said 'yes', he'd make up an excuse that the guards had come up and ate it. They'd agree to the story and Kurt had seen it happen before when food had been left out unattended. Kurt never got mad, all their roommates had always done so and Kurt always made enough for everyone (even Finn's bottomless stomach) and fed the guards often.

They snuggled together in the quiet corner of their favorite booth in their favorite coffee shop and just breathed together while sipping on their coffees and ate their easy breakfasts. It was a perfect moment for the two of them.

They stayed there until Kurt's phone rang and they realized they were already late for the rest of their activities.

"Why is Rachel in charge of events?" Sebastian muttered as they somehow untangled themselves from their cuddling position. The booth was like one big couch that wrapped around and was incredibly comfortable.

"Because she's going to keep us on task."

"Santana could do that too." Sebastian pointed out.

"Yeah, but she's got enough on her plate with Brittany." Brittany had a scare and had headed into the hospital earlier that week. They had only been reluctantly told about it because Brittany had to use a wheelchair for extended distances and would either have to be in the wheelchair or sitting on a chair during the ceremony. Even before that though, Santana had gone all sorts of protective of Brittany and the pregnancy. Kurt didn't want to bother her and frankly, Rachel would be nicer about things.

"Rachel will be happy that she'll finally look to be the same height as someone in pictures." Sebastian teased and was pleased when Kurt wrapped his arm around Sebastian's waist. He wanted to, it wasn't a necessity. Kurt hadn't had an attack in a week and they were both praying that it would hold out until after their honeymoon, through the wedding if they weren't being greedy.

"I'm glad we decided to just take in Rachel's dress because Brittany in a short dress while pregnant and sitting wouldn't look great in the pictures." Kurt mentioned, focusing on the image of the wedding again. It wasn't a problem that he did so, Sebastian was glad that he was looking out for that. He knew their pictures would be immaculate.

Sebastian pressed a kiss to the top of Kurt's head. "Ready?" They'd been sitting for longer than normal and had a pretty robust morning, his question was easily read for the one he was actually asking.

Kurt looked up and smiled brightly, not a trace of trying to smother the truth in his eyes or on his face. There was absolutely no discomfort or pain. "Ready." Both were relieved.

None of Sebastian's complaints were new nor was any of this new to Sebastian. He was just joking around and they both knew it. Santana would always be Sebastian's favorite though he could never tell anyone else that.

"Come on." Kurt pressed himself up against Sebastian, belying his words to sink his fingers into Sebastian's hair.

Sebastian smiled happily, his arms looping around Kurt's hips. "You first."

Kurt scanned Sebastian's face. "I love you so much. You have no idea just how much you mean to me."

"I think I have some idea." Sebastian replied, his mouth hovering over Kurt's but not pressing them together. "It's somewhere in the ballpark of how much I love you." Kurt pressed his forehead against Sebastian's shoulder.

If they left this coffee shop now, it meant that it was real, that they were really rolling the ball to pick up speed and crash into the wall when it stopped it's path. If they left now, it meant that it was true, they would be separating tonight until the ceremony far too late in the day tomorrow.

Neither were looking forward to it.

"I don't want to stay alone in the penthouse." Sebastian finally admitted. "It's too lonely there without you." He'd only experienced it a few times before.

"I don't either." Kurt had gone through that recently, Sebastian was meant to be gone over the entire weekend and ended up coming home a night early, but Kurt hadn't been alone.

"I want to stay with Finn and Rachel and the kids." Sebastian loved Marie and her sister Josie to pieces. It would be a little easier there, less stress, more fun and less loneliness.

"That's fine..." Kurt thought about where he'd be staying instead. "I'll just go crash with Adam."

Sebastian's arms tightened. "No, I think not. I don't want to spend the night worrying about him trying to convince you that it would be ok to sleep with him just once before you're a married man."

"I am a married man." Kurt pressed his thigh up against him. "Your man."

"Nobody else knows that though, not yet, but oh, they will."

"Besides, sex with Adam now would be kind of lackluster with my current limitations. It wouldn't be able to convince me of anything other than looking forward to when we can go back to your prowess."

"He'd probably be a bottom anyway." Sebastian scowled.

"Not versatile like you?"

"Like us." Sebastian slid his hands over Kurt's hips.

Kurt gave a small wicked smile. "Sometimes like us."

"So, you're not staying the night at his apartment?" Sebastian asked hopefully.

"Maybe Elliott and Jerald's?" Kurt suggested after thinking about it for a second. Sebastian had no trouble with either of them.

The original plan was for Kurt to stay at the loft this night but that wasn't happening on so many levels, chief of which, someone else now lived there.

"You don't have to go that far out. Why don't we both stay at Rachel and Finn's? We don't have to stay in the same room."

"We're not supposed to see each other before the wedding." Or so tradition dictated. Kurt was surprisingly traditional in a lot of ways.

Sebastian tried to be respectful of that, he was himself in other ways. It was just hard because it meant they'd be spending a night apart.

"I guess I could stay with Santana and Brittany in their hotel room? They are going to spend tonight there rather than haul themselves back and forth." Kurt shrugged, deciding on that game plan. Still... Long Island was a very long way away from the hotel... The Hudsons would be spending the next night at the hotel but not this night. They thought it would be too much on the kids to do a couple of nights at this stage.

Perhaps they were right.

"Let me stay with the Lopierces." Sebastian suggested and Kurt shook his head.

"Sorry, Santana still isn't a hundred percent certain that you're 100% gay. She thinks you're going to make a move on Brittany. Though I told her that she was crazy because you two have the better chemistry."

Sebastian was about to agree with Kurt but should have known that he'd pull something last minute like that. "Seriously? Of the four of us, I'm the only one who has never made out with or even kissed someone of the opposite sex with my permission." Brittany had taken to laying a big fat one on Sebastian whenever he was unsuspecting. It used to be just in greeting but Sebastian had learned and started pulling away or turning his face, so she chose other moments to surprise him with it.

Kurt found it incredibly amusing as long as Sebastian wasn't upset. Since he wasn't, Kurt could laugh all he wanted.

"I suppose if I were to go straight, Santana would be the ideal choice if she were also straight and not married with a child." Sebastian lifted his shoulder and let it drop, he could see that. "Even less of a reason for Santana to worry about me making a move on a very pregnant Brittany."

Kurt shrugged, he had no answer to that. "I didn't make up her feelings."

"She's the one that wants to carry your baby." Sebastian rolled his eyes at the notion. "That's practically cheating right there if you think about it too hard." Kurt started at him until Sebastian asked "What?"

"There's a very real possibility that Brittany could be carrying a child that biologically belongs to either of us."

"Or a million other guys. You have a big friend group with a lot of guys in there." Sebastian pointed out.

"Still though, if it is one of us, then your logic dictates that we've cheated on the other with Brittany." Kurt let out a little giggle. "Meaning, Santana was right all along."

Sebastian shook his head. "That... makes a lot of sense. Ok, ok, you'll stay with them and I'll stay with your brother and best friend."

"I'm her best friend, she's not mine!" Kurt maintained and Sebastian smiled broadly. "I could never choose one out of all my friends." Sebastian's smile only widened. "What?"

"You're precious." Sebastian answered before his lips covered Kurt's.

Another phone call interrupted them and Kurt groaned. Rachel knew them too well. "We've got to go."

"Ok." Sebastian linked their fingers and swung their hands as they walked out to the waiting car.

The drive to the venue was not short and they had to stop twice so Kurt could get out and walk around. Then he got back in and they would continue on. Once they arrived, Kurt spent a few moments walking the grounds and keeping his hip limber while Sebastian went to go deal with the fine details.

They were going to run through the ceremony quickly with their wedding party and officiant. The wedding party did a good job coming from the different directions. Then he and Kurt met at the altar and held each other's hands between their chests and just looked at each other while the officiant, Burt, spoke. Sebastian and Kurt both decided that's where they wanted him, needed him. He didn't go into the whole speech he had prepared for tomorrow's ceremony, just cliff notes on tasks.

Kurt had decided his best man was going to be Finn after all while Elliott, Santana, Mercedes, Brittany and Rachel took up the remaining spots on his side, not necessarily in that order. Sebastian had Isabelle, Nick, Jeff, Jeremiah, one of his college buddies and one of his workmates who he'd connected with quickly the first year he started there, and both happened to be female. It kept their numbers even quite nicely.

They ran through it twice more and no matter how many times they did it, would it be any less powerful for the duo in the center. They seemed to have it down pat though, and there'd likely be hiccups tomorrow but they'd weather those. While kids were incredibly unpredictable, they still decided on Marie to be their flower girl.

They headed to the groom's dinner and more people joined them. Speeches abounded and they all laughed hard and Sebastian and Kurt sat with their heads touching as they listened, sometimes pulling apart enough to share a look and a smile before going back to that position. They were just too adorable for words. They shared a look and then Kurt stood up and thanked them all for coming. For being a part of their celebration and happiness and not just today or tomorrow but for everything leading up to it and everything that was to come.

Neither were big on giving speeches to a crowd outside of the work setting and they were going to trade off. Kurt got to thank those at this intimate party while Sebastian was going to thank everyone at the wedding dinner. It was usually Kurt addressing the larger of the crowds, this was a nice switch for them.

Sebastian saw Kurt to Santana and Brittany's inner sanctuary and made sure he had a bed for himself and wasn't just going to sleep on the couch or something.

"You honestly think that we'd let him sleep on a couch?" Santana sounded incredibly offended.

"I wouldn't put anything passed you." Sebastian deadpanned.

"Love." Kurt sidled up against him. "While I appreciate what you're trying to do, go away. You're just riling up Santana for no reason and it's the night before our wedding. Let's keep the peace."

Sebastian scowled. He was probably just trying to cause a fight so Santana wouldn't let Kurt sleep there and make him go home with Sebastian. He really needed to get this jealousy thing under control again, it was acting up with the oddest people at the weirdest of times. Kurt was just going to spend the night with his friends, ones he'd stayed with for years.

"'Stien." Kurt took both of his hands and made a small tug on them, pulling Sebastian's full attention back to him. "It's only a couple of hours."

"It's more than a couple of hours." Sebastian sighed, understanding what was driving him now and he laid his forehead against Kurt's. "It's closer to 18 hours, that's nearly 24 hours."

"Wow, really Sebastian?" Santana asked as if he were incredibly ridiculous.

"Then come stay with me at Finn's and wait to see Brittany until the ceremony." He pulled his head up to address her.

"I'll pass, thanks."

"So you have no right to question me." Sebastian glared at her. Kurt tugged on his hands again and Sebastian turned to him. "Sorry. It's just going to be really hard."

Kurt nodded. "I know, for me too."

"The guards are just next door." They had to commandeer the room for the night but the staff knew they were to change the linens for the real guests tomorrow. The guards had a room next to Sebastian and Kurt's for tomorrow night.

Kurt had already known that and didn't argue with the precaution. Sebastian was going to take his set with him to the Hudson's. He was having a really hard time letting Sebastian go too.

Santana pried Sebastian away. "No worries lover-boy, we'll have him at the altar ready for slaughter at the right time. Go home already." She pushed him toward the door while Brittany wrapped her arms around Kurt and rested her head against his shoulder with eyes closed.

Once they had decided on this path, Santana had been busy making plans and Sebastian was just delaying them.

Sebastian headed back to the Hudson abode while Santana turned on Kurt with a mischievous grin. "How up are you for a bachelor party?"

With everything that had gone on, they'd both forgone one. Kurt was still on a ton of pills and alcohol would not be a good mix. Santana waved off his expressed concerns. "We'll buy you Shirley Temples, we're used to it, it's what we had to do throughout high school." Kurt hesitated for a second longer but it was enough for Santana to throw a long dress on over his clothes and a wig.

"I'm not-"

"If they think you're a girl, we'll get free drinks all night." Santana argued.

"But they won't want to buy virgin drinks for the bachelorette." Kurt protested, trying to use her own logic against her.

Santana paused in trying to strip his pants off of him. They were a lot looser than what he would have typically worn and she was making progress. She looked up at him and thought about it and then sighed. She put the pants back on his hips, buttoned and zipped them back up. Actually being careful not to catch him in the zipper. She eased the dress off of him and took the wig.

"Brittany's pregnant, you're unable to drink because of the meds. This is the worst bachelor party ever." Then she grinned and took out her phone.

"No strippers." Kurt pleaded.

"What fun are you?" Santana grumbled and looked him over. "Still no dancing?"

"Just a very limited dancing."

Santana nodded. "Ok then." She pulled out a deck of cards. "You're rich, get ready to pay up."

"There are 3 of us here." Brittany would wipe the floor with them, he knew that, Santana knew that.

"There are 5 of us." Santana argued. "Get those sexy guards in here."

Kurt text them that they were going to play cards and asked if they wanted to join. There was a knock a minute later. Santana let them in and the five of them circled the square table and they played several hands before a clap of thunder startled Kurt.

"It's just rain." Santana looked over at him carefully, knowing that he always tried to get home the second he heard it, but only since he moved out to New York. While he was at home, it didn't seem to bother him. It surely had to rain while he was on tour too, it wasn't like he could get home then. "You're inside where you're staying for the night. You're safe."

"It's not that... It's not about me. Well, no, it is... Sebastian is going to be livid... but it's worth it." Kurt gathered up his overnight bags and looked to the guards. "Get the car, please."

"We're in the middle of a game." Brittany, as predicted, was winning. It was Santana that protested.

Kurt pulled out a hundred dollar bill and tossed it on the table. "That should cover it." He turned toward the door and Santana had a hand around his bicep.

"Kurt, no." She held him still even though he was still trying to go to the door. "It's not safe to be traveling out there during a thunderstorm. For what? To go back to the penthouse and stay there alone? You can cuddle with the two of us."

Kurt kissed her on the forehead. "Thank you for your concern, Santana, but it's not my well-being that I'm concerned about."

It took her a second and then her eyes widened. "Oh." She hadn't heard about the car accident until Kurt was back in New York, hadn't heard all the details. She had just been pissed at Rachel for telling them that she had it handled and not to bother contacting Santana. Santana would have been on the first plane out there. She was now putting it all together.

Kurt nodded and she let him go and he headed down with the remaining bodyguard to the waiting car. They stored the bags in the trunk and then headed to Long Island.

Sebastian was not liking this, not one bit. Rachel was going on and on about something, Sebastian lost the thread ages ago. Finn was in a pout about Kurt not coming and having Sebastian in his place. Then he'd apologize that he didn't mean it like that, he liked Sebastian now too. They were brothers-in-law.

Puck was supplying him drinks, one right after the other. He didn't even realize he was empty before another drink was in his hand. He glanced at Puck once, thanking him for helping him numb this miserable experience. If Kurt were there, it would have been totally different.

Why did he think staying with Kurt's brother was the smartest choice for them? He'd have had a better experience with Burt and Carole. Though he might be waxing poetry about how his only son was getting married.

Elliott and Jerald hyphened their names, Gilbert-Hewn; Santana and Brittany had mashed them up Lopierce; Rachel had just taken Finn's last name, though Finn had offered to do either of the other two options too. Sebastian had already decided long ago and had told Kurt it too that he was going to take Hummel for his last name, he wanted all of Kurt and this was just another step. He had plenty of relatives to carry on the Smythe name. If Isabelle ever got married, she'd keep her own last name and not hyphen or combine it nor even take his last name in private matters and hers in public. They'd have separate last names, she was adamant on that, and they'd figure out the kid thing later. She wasn't a Smythe though. Isabelle and Irina were sisters and had grown up in France together. Sebastian's dad had moved into town and met Irina when they were in college. Artie had said something about just tossing out all of that and coming up with their own last name, together.

That had been an option if neither of them had liked their last names. Kurt was definitely a fan of his, he bandied it around as a source of pride and a well of support and courage. It was a shield and a a sword and a blanket, a cane and a cape and armor. It was part of his identity and Sebastian not only would never take that from him, but he wanted to be wrapped under it's banner too.

He stood up to go to the bathroom and was hit sideways with the fact that he was drunk. Drunker than he'd been in a very long time. Woah.

"I think I better quit now." Sebastian announced to the room and headed for the stairs and the bathroom on that level before he could head to his room.

"Come on man!" Puck scolded. "We haven't even gotten to the porn."

"Yeah, think I'll skip that." It would probably be heterosex anyway.

Sebastian closed his eyes and was just about asleep when a crack of white light slithered through the room, startling him. His eyes opened wide and he stared at the ceiling, wondering if it was just a car driving by with their brights on. Rain lashed at the windows, rain was fine, rain was a part of life. He started to close his eyes and headed toward sleep once more. Then a crash echoed loud and hard in his room and Marie called out in her sleep and a cry could be heard from Josie's room.

Dread spread through every part of his body and he was immobilized with the fear. His breathing was shallow and he could do nothing but look up toward the ceiling. His stomach churned and he felt like throwing up but couldn't even accomplish that. Something was wrong, something had happened, something very bad, something... His thoughts whirled with the same mantra.

He stayed that way for several minutes, hours? The door cracked open and light from the hallway spilled in, helping to release him from his completely irrational panic. If something were happening to Kurt, this was not the right reaction to be having. He should be motivated to get up and do something, not just lay there with all the worst case scenarios running rampant through his head.

Had he called out and didn't hear it himself? Who was checking up on him? The girls had also cried out and would be the first checked on; if they hadn't been already.

He could only turn his head to the dark figure making its way toward the bed and then pulling back the sheet and slipping in next to him. The body curled itself around him and started laying gentle kisses to any of the exposed (sweat dampened) skin its mouth could reach. Words said in the most beautiful tone, in the most loving voice, the voice he would recognize even if he forgot everything else.

He let out a little whimper before he turned to the body and wrapped his arms around it in return and sobbed into its shoulder. "Kurt."

"I'm here, I'm here." Kurt rubbed his back and stroked his hair.

"You shouldn't be, that's a trek." Sebastian held him even closer, he'd driven through the wet rainy streets of New York to get to him because he knew that Sebastian needed him. "You could have gotten hurt."

"You were hurting." Kurt knew his fears when there was a thunderstorm. He'd never missed how Sebastian's hands reached for him and drew him nearly breath stealingly close; even during the day. He wasn't going to let him go through that alone on the night before their wedding. He was never going to let him go through that alone if he could help it. Sebastian had called him in the past when they were states apart and it had worked well enough to reassure him, but was not comforting enough. He'd only be comforted when he next saw Kurt alive and well. While at work, it was deafened and not as bad for Sebastian but they still called each other.

He held Kurt tight all night. "What happened to not seeing each other before the wedding? Tradition?" Sebastian asked when the storm started letting up, when he could talk again.

"Fuck tradition. What part of us has been traditional?" Kurt held Sebastian's head against his chest and hadn't stopped stroking his hair the entire time. It may have been different than what he'd been attempting but it was still true for both of them and just so Kurt to throw that out for what he wanted even more.

"I'd rather fuck you." Sebastian admitted and lifted his head to look at Kurt cheekily.

"Do you have the strength to do so?" Kurt countered and Sebastian took that challenge in stride. Kurt ended up bottoming that time because Sebastian wanted to be in him, be surrounded by him in every way. Kurt had no complaints about that, Sebastian was fantastic at topping too. It was also easier on his back in this room to bottom, they didn't have a chair and it wasn't quite what they needed either. That was fun and satisfying but it wasn't always enough either.

This way, they had access to so much more, could do more.

The rain covered up some of their quieter moans but had to hold back on some of the louder ones that tried to escape. "Sébastien." Kurt gasped and Sebastian lost control, he was done with just his name on Kurt's lips, said in that way.

Kurt wasn't far behind him and they cuddled like that, Sebastian still within Kurt for a very long time. They both fell asleep like that and woke up to Rachel's singing as she roused everyone awake. Sebastian groaned and pressed kisses along Kurt's shoulder. Their bodies were both ready for round two. Kurt snuggled in closer and then his eyes popped open as he realized what position they were in.

"Oh." Sebastian always had lube within reach but by now it had to have melted away. Kurt was still stretched out because he'd never been given a chance to tighten again. They'd never spent the entire night like that, if one had stayed in the other, they usually fell out by morning but they were still stretched out enough to go another round without much prep. "How do we go about this?" Kurt asked after a moment where they both stilled and Sebastian twisted his head to look him in the eyes.

"How would I know?" Sebastian asked honestly, he'd never stayed in another guy for longer than accomplishing the task. He'd only ever fallen asleep inside Kurt and even then he hadn't had to worry about hurting him in the morning since the problem usually took care of itself. He barely bottomed before Kurt and never let anyone stay in him for a second longer.

"Because you're the one inside of me and I thought maybe together we'd figure out a solution?" Kurt wiggled a little, thinking about what he could do to make this as easy as possible. Sebastian stilled his hips and pressed in closer, deeper. Kurt gave a small gasp of pleasure at the motion.

"I've got a better idea." Sebastian reached for the lube and applied a generous amount to his fingers. Then reached between them, sliding out slightly, and coated his base. Before pressing his fingers in just slightly around what remained inside Kurt, making just a bit more space, stretching him just a bit further. Kurt moaned and Sebastian kissed his shoulder. "Too much?" Kurt didn't know how to answer that, it was both yes and no.

Sebastian eased himself in more then back out further, lubing himself up even more and repeated that action again and again until he was entirely out of Kurt and managed to lube his entire shaft from point to base. Then slid back in easily and filled Kurt all the way up with a single thrust. Kurt's head fell back onto Sebastian's shoulder and shuddered with pleasure. Kurt was already mostly lubed up due to Sebastian's ministrations but it just made it even smoother. Sebastian reached around Kurt and used his lubed up hand to curl around Kurt's own shaft and kissed his man from ear to jaw to shoulder and back, making sure he didn't mark him at all. Kurt would have a fit if he had hickeys in the wedding photos or having to wear makeup to cover them up.

While Sebastian would love that in the photos, he knew better than to piss Kurt off and those photos would piss him off every time he saw them. Sebastian was a smart boy.

Both were brought to completion and while Sebastian was tempted to stay in Kurt for even longer, knew they had to get up and join the obnoxious Tweety Bird who kept walking by their door. Did she know Kurt was in there too? Who all knew that Kurt was there last night?

Sebastian pulled back and it was his turn to be irritated. "We have to talk about you driving over here in a rainstorm-"

"I'm allowed to be protective of you, Sébastien." Kurt wouldn't allow his irritation to stay or irritate him in return. This was their wedding day. "You needed me last night."

"You could have been hurt. I would rather go through a rough night on my own than lose you." Sebastian stroked Kurt's hair above his ear, brushing against it too as he did so. "If something had happened on the way to the house-." His words cut off as his oxygen wouldn't let him finish that thought, nearly strangling him with it.

Kurt held his gaze and sighed, a little annoyed himself now. "You'd have done the same. Don't even argue with me about this."

Sebastian looked up at the ceiling again, he was still holding Kurt close to him and could feel the tension in his body. "I'm sorry. You're right, we're equals in this and I would have come running. No matter what the weather was too, not caring that I was putting myself in danger just to get to you, because you needed me. Thank you, thank you for coming, for knowing without me having to ask, that I needed you so badly last night. I don't know how I would have made it through the storm in this unfamiliar bed without you."

Kurt nodded and turned onto his bad hip to snuggle in to Sebastian, ignoring Rachel's fourth pass by the door. Sebastian wanted to ease the pressure on that hip, help him out, but knew that Kurt was an adult and made his own decision. If he felt he could handle this, then he could or they'd both have to deal with the consequences of it together.

Rachel made a fifth pass much sooner than she had been, most of the others must be up already and showing their faces to make her stop coming by their rooms. "Shut up already, Rachel!" Kurt yelled and the singing stopped short.

"Kurt?" She pried the door open a little and peeked in. "When did you get here? I thought you weren't going to see Sebastian until the ceremony-." They had pulled the sheets up over their naked bodies, mostly for Kurt's sake, who hated being seen naked by anyone but Sebastian. He was incredibly modest outside their relationship, unless it was for fashion's sake; or for a play.

"Well that makes me feel secure in here." Sebastian deadpanned.

"I have a key." Kurt reminded both of them. "Finn saw me come in too. He and Puck were drinking downstairs. He lifted his head, instinctively going into papa-protection mode until he saw it was me then he settled down and drank more with Puck." Finn had been pleased and attempted to get Kurt to join him, but Kurt was on a mission.

"Puck didn't do or say anything? Or even look your way?" Sebastian teased.

"Puck was... pretty drunk." Kurt answered. "He stirred but was pretty out of it." Beth wasn't going to here until later today. Puck might not be so inclined to drink if his teenage daughter was around.

"With all the drinks he was supplying me, it doesn't surprise me at all." Sebastian shook his head.

"So you were drunk last night when I came in?" Kurt turned his head to look at him and Rachel took that as her cue to back out of the room and close the door.

"Once I realized how much I had consumed, I stopped and headed up to bed. Sounds like Puck continued at a faster pace." Sebastian traced the outline of Kurt's face. "I didn't forget or miss a single moment of your presence last night." He assured Kurt.

Kurt frowned but then nodded, his face lightening up. "As long as you're not hung over during the wedding."

"I won't be, but I can't promise that your best man or his best friend won't be."

"As long as it's not the entire wedding party." Kurt shook his head. "Santana tried to go down that path yesterday too."

"With you and Brittany?" Sebastian seemed skeptical. "What was she thinking?" He was channeling Kurt with that question and how he said it.

Kurt shrugged. "I think it was all a ploy to clean us out with poker."

"That would be difficult."

"I tossed them a couple of hundred." Kurt teased. "They need it more than we do." They had a fund for their loved ones, paid for by the settled law-suit. Blaine's parents took it out of his trust fund. Even though he was cut off from them, he still had things in his name which they couldn't touch, or couldn't touch without good reason. They'd had their lawyers settle quickly, the dual trials were not something they wanted for their reputation, even if it were their son.

It still wasn't enough though, he was getting off too easily in Sebastian's mind and made sure nobody would rent to him. He called in all his connections to make sure Blaine was homeless. Even the realtors wouldn't sell him a house. He had to couch surf but Sebastian had made sure there was a flag on every website cautioning people that he was a violent criminal who had been jailed, even if the courts had deemed it something else. He couldn't hide the fact that he was in jail.

Very few people would let him spend the night, even hotels refused him entrance. Where ever he was staying was likely to be very seedy, or out on the street. It might not be enough but Sebastian would consider it debt paid. He'd gotten his revenge, he'd settled the score, and the others had pitched in, to make Blaine's life absolutely unbearable, no job, no stable living situation, no friends, no family. He was done and Sebastian was ready to put him securely out his mind and their lives.

Unless something threw Kurt into a flashback or something, or if Blaine somehow got close to them again, Blaine would never be thought of again by either Sebastian nor Kurt. He was permanently out of their lives and he had been punished severely.

Kurt had actually orchestrated this whole thing himself, letting Santana think the poker match was her idea. It was the only way he could give those two money. Despite Santana being a free-loader she refused to be given cash. He knew Brittany would win the games fair and square with her crazy maths skills that even she wasn't aware she had.

"Well done." Sebastian kissed Kurt and then helped them both sit up. "Shall we join the rest of the gang?"

Kurt pouted but then nodded. "Maybe a mimosa or two for everyone?"

"Not you." Sebastian disagreed. "Maybe just Finn and Puck." He had a small headache. "Maybe myself too." He rubbed at the base of his skull. Puck had a lot to answer for. "Did you at least bring the guards?"

"They drove me here." Kurt agreed. "Then headed back to the hotel since yours are here." There was no room at Rachel Inn for them. "They're in constant communication with each other. We're good."

Sebastian hoped so and he was far too happy to have had Kurt in his arms last night to worry about it anymore. "Hungry?"

"For you? Always. For breakfast- we'd probably better eat since we'll unlikely eat much today."
