Lena

I had met with Alex earlier for the red sun device she told me some very interesting things about Kara. Alex is nice I understand why she's so protective of Kara I think I will get on well with her. I was sitting at my desk I had finally replicated the red sun device and was dreaming about Kara's reaction when she realised what I had planned "Miss Luthor do you still need my help?" Eve made me jump "Can you let my brother know his device is ready please." Eve nodded and left my lab; I was thinking about something Alex had said about moving out of here and separating me from Lex. I decided to look at apartments I found one not far from Kara it was actually in the same building. I checked to see when I could view the apartment and lucky for me there was a space today. After booking my viewing I decided to go and see Lex.

"Lena, have you brought me the device?" "Hello Lex, yeah I'm Ok thank you for asking." Lex looked up from his laptop. "Well do you have it or not?" I put the device onto his desk. "I'm sure a genius like you will be able to figure out how to use it." I began to walk out of his office "Oh I'm moving out too." Before he could answer I shut his office door behind me and headed off to my appointment to view my new apartment.

Kal

"Guys you need to see this!" Winn said has the put the news on the screen at the DEO. Me, Alex, J'onn all gathered around the back of Winn's chair. On the screen was a gang using alien technology to rob a bank. The news reporter filled the screen "Where is Superman when he is needed? He is too busy protecting National City even though they have Supergirl. I really hope he is watching this, Superman we need you." The tv cut from the reporter back to the news studio where the presenter talked about how this is the 5th attack, they have done in the last few days. I looked at Alex then J'onn. "J'onn, Alex I'm needed back in Metropolis I shouldn't be gone long."

I hated leaving Kara to deal with Lex but at least we knew what he had planned and that he couldn't go through with it. Well, that's if you trust Lena which I don't but for Kara I have promised to give her a chance, but I hope it's not going to cost Kara her life. I Gave Alex a hug "If Kara needs me just call, I will be here. Take care of her and yourself Alex." "I will you just be careful with that alien tech." I nodded at Alex and left the DEO I hated that I didn't get chance to say bye to Kara, but she would understand.

Lena

I had got the keys to the apartment MY apartment I couldn't believe I was going to live right by Kara. I was so glad that it had come fully furnished so that was one less thing for me to worry about and I didn't bring much with me when I moved to National City. I had brought some of my belongings with me and started putting my clothes away when I got a text off Alex. Lena, I need you to let me know in advance if Lex is planning anything Superman as had to go back to Metropolis and Supergirl is left here on her own and we both don't want her going up against Lex on her own. I agree I don't want Kara fighting Lex with him you never truly know what he as planned I quickly replied to Alex. Yes, I agree if I find anything out you will be the first to know. He does have the device though. Also forgot to ask do you have any of those red sun bulbs but for yellow sun. It didn't take long for Alex's reply Wait when did he get the device! And yes, I do there called sun lamps and yes you can have some. I smiled at the fact Alex knew what I was going to ask. Today I didn't know Superman wasn't going to be here, so I gave it him I thought everyone was ready. Now I was starting to panic.

Alex

The text from Lena had really got me nervous. Had Lex changed his plan and set up, Kal to make sure he wasn't here to protect Kara. So, Kara now must face Reactron and Lex Luthor alone and probably at the same time. I just hope Kal hurries back and we get Lex but behind bars. I was pulled from my thoughts by Brainy shouting "Oh! Sprock!" I turned and walked over to him. "Brainy what's wrong?" Brainy was furiously typing then he turned to the big screens. "I've managed to track a signature that belongs to Reactron. He is on the move and from the signature he's stronger than ever. I think we need to get Lena to come and help with this one." That didn't sound good to me that Brainy wanted help. "I will get Lena to come right away." I quickly text Lena. Need you at the DEO Brainy needs help in finding a way to stop Reactron who is growing stronger somehow. Within moments of sending the text I had a reply. On my way.

Kara

I arrived at the DEO after helping at a multi-car pileup. I couldn't see Alex anywhere I stopped an agent "Where is agent Danvers?" the agent looked up from her phone "She's in the Lab." "Thank you." I walked into the lab "Alex where is Ka …. Lena what are you doing here?" I walked over to Lena and gave her a kiss "Alex messaged me for some help." She hugged me and went back to working on the computer. I motioned to Alex to come over to the other side of the room. "What's going on?" I could tell Alex didn't want to tell me, but I gave her my 'don't lie to me' face. "Kara, I had to ask Lena here because Reactron is stronger." I was too impatient how could she involve Lena in this. "Yes, but I have Kal and you guys. Why put her in danger." I looked at Alex who clearly hadn't told me something. "Kara that's the thing Kal had to go back to Metropolis there is a gang using alien tech robbing banks. You are on your own until he gets back that's why we asked Lena to help."

Lena was too busy working away at the computer to hear me walk up behind her. I bent down and kissed her on the top of her head "So my beautiful genius, have you worked out how to stop him yet?" Lena turned her head and looked up "Not yet but we are close you need to remove the reactor core from his chest but it's like a bomb it will explode, and a lot of people will die." I could see how stressed Lena was about all this, so I gave her a kiss. I turned to Alex "I will be right back" I knew exactly what Lena would like so I flew out of the DEO, and it wasn't long before I was walking back into the lab where Brainy, Alex and Lena were working hard.

Lena was the first to turn round to look at me I held up the bag of food. "Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Is that Big Belly Burger? Ever told you you're my favourite person?" Lena had told me that she had been addicted to these since I gave her a list of places to try. I hid the food behind my back until Lena had given me a kiss. "When did you last eat?" Lena had a habit of skipping meals when she was working. "Ahem" I looked at Alex who was now holding her hand out for food. "And don't think that I am going to kiss you for it." We started laughing I handed Brainy his food "Thank you Kara." Then got back to work.

After eating we were sitting lost in our thoughts when Lena jumped up and shouted, "That's it!" Me and Alex got up and followed her to the computer we watched as she run a stimulation and it said successful. "The chest unit is powered by a demon core it's a subcritical mass of plutonium but once it is removed it will be unstable and will nuke the city, so we need to encase it with lead as it pulled out." Alex turned to me "Could you cover your hand in lead and pull it out?" I wasn't sure it's not something I had done before. "I … I erm I can try." Lena walked towards me "You can't do anything until I know one million percent that it will work, and you won't get hurt." I took her hands in mine "Lena you know I can't let him hurt people." She looked at me with pleading eyes. "Lena please don't look at me like that. Reactron is here to hurt me to get back at my cousin so anyone that gets killed or injured it's my fault." I watched as the tears fell from Lena's eyes, I pulled her in for a hug I held her tight to me.

My phone started to vibrate in my pocket I looked at the caller it was Miss Grant. "Miss Grant I … is everything okay?" "Where are you? I expect you to be here when I shout you, Kiera." I looked at Alex and mouthed I need to go. "I'm on my way Miss Grant I'm not far away." As I was flying over National City heading to CatCo. "What on earth is that noise?" "It's wind I …I have the window open in the cab." I landed on the roof before I realised Miss Grant had cut the phone off, I quickly got changed into my normal clothes and walked into the building.

"Kiera finally you're here." I pushed my glasses on further and gripped my notebook and pen with my other hand. "I'm sorry Miss Grant I was sorting out your dinner with your mother." Kat looked up at me "Cancel that I have a party tonight and I want you there with me, I have an award for my article on Supergirl." I cringed at the memory of that interview where I accidently let slip Superman was my cousin and that's why I now have Reactron to deal with. "M …Me you want me there?" Kat stood up from behind her desk "Well you did get me that interview with Supergirl" I went to speak but she stopped me "James told me it was really you that did it. So, I want you there and I want you to bring her with you." I jerked my head up "Y …You want me to bring Supergirl? She is very busy saving people." Kat looked up at me "Yes I want you to bring her." With that she picked up her bag and left I just stood there with my mouth wide open.

Lena

I really didn't like the idea that Kara had to rip the core out with her hands. She would have a nuke in her hands! She could get hurt or worse. Alex must have read my mind she walked over and sat down next to me. "Lena I was the same when she first became Supergirl but now I don't worry as much but trust me I still do but you get used to it." I looked at Alex tears in my eyes "Alex I …I've fallen for her. Yes, I know it's only been days but it's like we have known each other longer than we have been alive." Alex smiled at me "I know that feeling I had it with Maggie. It's intense." Alex was right it is intense "Have you spoke to Kara about this how you feel?" I shook my head "Well I told her I really want to make a go of things and I'm not sure if I have told you, but we made it official we are actually dating but I haven't told her that I'm in love with her or that I feel like she is the one for me." We were interrupted by Brainy "Oh! Sprock!" Me and Alex jumped up and marched over to Brainy there was an alarm going off on one of the monitors "Brainy what's that alarm for?" Alex looked worried. "I had an alert for an attack matching Reactron." I started to panic Kara was at a party with her boss. "Where is he, Kara is at a party how is she going to get away." Brainy turned and looked at me and then Alex. "That is the things he is at the party and also Kara as her ways."

Alex spoke into her comms "Kara, Reactron is at the party you need to find some lead fast." While Alex was talking to Kara, Brainy managed to hack into the security cameras at the party so we could see what was going on. I watched on has Kara took a big kick to the stomach that sent her across the room. While she was down Reactron sent energy beams into her body, Kara began to squirm on the floor. Then I noticed James standing behind Reactron saying something to him. "Brainy can you get sound please?" Brainy tapped on the keyboard and sound from the party filled the room. I heard James's voice "I'm Superman's best friend Jimmy Olsen if you want to hurt Superman then hurt me." Then James run off. Brainy then messed with the keyboard and James appeared on the roof. "Kara, James has taken Reactron to the roof."

I watched as Kara stood in the middle of the room and looked round her. "What is she doing?" Alex looked at me before speaking "She is looking for lead." Kara then looked at a statue and used her heat vision to melt some of it. I watched panicking as Kara put her hand into the hot melted lead. Then in a blink of an eye Kara was on the roof and flew into Reactron knocking him off his feet. Reactron had gotten back up to his feet, but Kara had her back to him telling James to get out of there she had just turned back around in time to lift her hand that wasn't encased up and blocked the energy beam that Reactron was firing at her. Kara pushed herself towards Reactron while deflecting the energy beam when she was close enough with the hand encased in lead, she punched Reactron in the face, then as he stumbled back, she ripped out the energy core from his chest. I watched as Reactron dropped to the floor. "Did Kara k …kill him?" Alex turned and looked at me and smiled "No he is just a human so without the core he isn't strong enough to stand in the suit."

Kara

I arrived back at the DEO to be greeted by Lena running and pulling me into a hug. "Lena, we need to talk." Lena looked worried I kissed her. "What about?" I scooped up Lena and flew her to my building. I landed in my living room putting Lena down on her feet, I used my super speed to change into some of my normal clothes. Before Lena even knew I had moved from her side I was back she looked puzzled at my appearance. "Sorry you will get used to it." I said smiling at the brunette as she sat down, and I dropped next to her. "Lena, I need to tell you how I feel I can't do this anymore." Lena moved away from me "Are you ending it? We have only just started dating." I scooted closer to Lena and grabbed her hands "Lena no baby it's the opposite I … I have fallen for you I love you I know it's so soon and we haven't been together long and I ..." I was cut off by Lena pressing her lips against mine. When Lena pulled away, she spoke softly "You were talking to much. Kara, I spoke to Alex earlier about feeling the exact same."

This time I kissed Lena I wrapped my arms around her and floated us to my bed. Lena pulled out of the kiss and gasped "Oh my God are we floating?" as I lay us both down on the bed me on top of Lena I whispered, "We were." I leaned and kissed Lena using my powers I ripped off Lena's blouse. "Kara, I liked that shirt!" I laughed before I spoke "Babe I will buy you another one. Now get those trousers off before I use my heat vision to cut them off." I watched as Lena quickly wriggled out of her suit trousers and kicked off her high heels. I looked down at the sight of Lena's nearly naked body. Lena took her opportunity while I was distracted and slid her hands down my trousers, into my underwear and sliding her fingers into my wet core. "Oh Rao!" I floated just above Lena and tore her bra in half between the cups exposing her breasts. I opened the door to my apartment and seen that my belongings where in boxes in the living room I found the one for the bedroom and dug out the red sun bulbs and put them into the lamps around the bed I had ordered some restraints and some toys for me and Kara online and couldn't wait for them to be delivered I would have to keep this place a secret until everything was ready.

I put the yellow sun bulbs in the main ceiling lights and the yellow sun grenades in the cupboard next to the bed. I put my bedding on the bed I was happy with my new mattress a lot more comfortable than the one I was sleeping on in Lex's mansion. I put my clothes away and put all my toiletries in the bathroom. I walked into the kitchen and made myself familiar with the cupboards, there were new plates and cutlery I opened the fridge and looked in the freezer and seen it was fully stocked up. There was a note from Eve who must have brought all the food and plates. The note said that she hopes everything is okay and that I settle in fast and that she will help me in my lab when I need it. I hadn't thought about my work not since I gave him the device I needed to know when he planned on using it so I could give the DEO and Kara a heads up.

I quickly text Kara saying I'm sorry that I would sort food out for her, but I really needed to head into work. I didn't get a reply and I didn't expect to for a while she was out on her Supergirl duties. I couldn't wait until Lex was arrested, I could finally go to LexCorp and change everything it stands for I wouldn't have to work in this mansion hidden from the world. When I closed the door behind me Eve was standing there. "Miss Luthor I'm sorry but Lex as told me I must take you to him when you get here." Eve looked apologetic I smiled "Eve it's okay I need to speak with my brother anyway." I followed Eve to Lex's office.

"Ahh Lena finally you return. How is your new apartment?" I hated that he spoke like he owned me that would change soon enough. "It's perfect thank you. I need to talk to you about the device when we will be setting it off." Lex laughed at me and grinned like he knew something I didn't. "Oh, little sis have you not heard? I'm not setting it off just, yet I have a new plan." I couldn't keep the shock off my face. "What plan? Anything I can help you with?" Lex opened his laptop and typed for a while before calling me to look, I walked over and seen a man sitting in a cage. "Who is that?" I was confused as what this had to do with Lex's plan. "That sweet Lena is Mon-El." I looked from the screen to Lex "Mon-El as in the guy Supergirl was marrying?" Lex smiled "Yes the same one." "What are you going to do with him?" Lex closed the lid down on the laptop. "I'm going to use him to get Supergirl there in fact she should already be fighting her way in to there." I started to panic did Lex shut me out or did this just happen to fast for him to tell me either way I needed to warn Kara.

I quickly text Alex without Lex seeing. If Kara as gone to save Mon-El it's a trap that lex has just told me about. I don't know exactly what he has planned but I will do my best to find out. I flicked my phone onto silent mode. Alex reply came shortly after. What do you mean? Kara is already there. Find out fast! What didn't Alex understand I know as much as she does. "What do you need Supergirl for?" Lex looked at me "You haven't gone soft on her, have you?" I needed to make sure Lex believed me. "Of course, not brother, I'm keeping her distracted like you said. Is there anything you needed me to help with?"

Lex stared at me for a while before speaking "I am using him to get what I need from Supergirl I managed to find Mothers research. I'm picking up where she left it and I need your project to do this so yes I do need your help." "How did you get your hands on her research? And what do you need Non Nocere for?" Lex tilted his head and grinned at me "Are you sure you haven't fallen for the Kryptonian? How about we head down to the facility, and I will show you what I'm doing?" I thought for a moment before I replied "What if Supergirl finds out I'm there? I wouldn't be able to keep her distracted for you." Lex thought about it for a moment "You're right but you can still come and stay away from her if she does see you then you will need to come up with an excuse." I paused for a moment I needed Lex to think that I had just come up with this plan. "I could always make out that I'm setting you up if she see's me." Lex contemplated it for a second "I'm not sure she will fall for that I know she is dumb, but she isn't that dumb." I clenched my fists inside my pockets I hated that I couldn't defend Kara.

Lex's phone began to ring I used this as the perfect opportunity to get out of there and let Alex know what is happening. Alex, please tell Kara that Lex is using Mon-El to get her there so he can use Non Nocere on her. Alex reply came almost instantly Did he say why he was going to use it on Kara? I typed as fast as I could as I knew Kara was in danger. Lex didn't say he was going to use it on Kara but that's the only reason I can think of. He is taking me there to show me what he has planned he doesn't realise I'm helping you so please tell Kara that if she does see me that I'm doing it to get information for you I will not let him hurt her either. I had a bad feeling about this.

Mon-El

I was sitting in my cage again I haven't tried to escape since seeing them with Kara, I didn't want them to hurt her because of me. I have already hurt her enough. Kara must have thought that I didn't care that I had walked away until she seen that I was being held here. Maybe if I get out of here, she might be able to forgive me. I was pulled from my thoughts from shouting in the corridor I had used to try and escape. I could hear what sounded like fighting then one of the guys that had been guarding me comes flying backwards through the air slamming into the wall. I jumped up but everything had gone quiet.

Kara

I couldn't believe what Alex was saying through my coms. "Alex are you sure and tell Lena to stay away I don't want her getting hurt." I dodged a punch and kicked the guard in the stomach that sent him flying into the wall. "Hands up Supergirl!" I turned slowly ready to take on another guard but what I came face to face with was a man with a green glowing rock in the centre of his chest. It didn't take me long to work out that it was Kryptonite I could feel it in my veins they had begun to glow green. "Alex, we have a problem there is someone with Kryptonite here." Alex's voice was so loud in my ear that I flinched "GET OUT OF THERE NOW SUPERGIRL!" I stepped backwards trying to put more space between us.

"Who are you?" I shouted to him, but he advanced on me my body couldn't take the Kryptonite being so close I dropped to on knee. "My name is Metallo." With that the rock of Kryptonite in the centre of his chest glowed a brighter green then it shot a beam out hitting me sending me flying. I was on the verge of unconsciousness when I heard a familiar voice. "Supergirl are you okay? Can you hear me?" Everything faded to black.

I woke up inside a metal cage I jumped up and tried to pull the bars apart, but it was no good. "I tried to escape, they had you. You told me to run but I couldn't leave you here." I looked at Mon-El he must have taken a bang to the head. "Mon-El this is the first time I have been here we had word that you were being held here so I came to release you." I tried my coms, but it wasn't working. "What do you mean you saw me?" Mon-El stood up and walked closer "It was you. Oh, my that's it. I was trying to work out what was different and now I can see your suit it was a different colour."

We were interrupted by someone I hadn't met in person, but I had seen and knew a lot about. "Ah look who we have here." I looked into Lex's eyes "What do you want Lex?" he just laughed at me "You really are just a dumb blonde aren't you. I want you that's why you were told were to find your beloved Daxamite." I moved round the cage "You already know that we aren't together. You made sure of it." I seen Mon-El's head snap round to look at Lex. "You are Eve's boss? The one who set me up?" I looked at Mon-El before I could bite my tongue the words had come out "He didn't make you do it did he you could have said NO." Lex was clearly enjoying this "Ooh look counselling session." He clapped his hands.

I could feel my powers were stronger now my eye's glowed red. "I wouldn't do that if I was you, Kara." I had to act shocked that Lex knew my human name. I need you to become human for a small amount of time I know that when you use enough heat vision you deplete the solar radiation in your cells." I looked at Lex then Mon-El "Why do you need me human?" Lex laughed "You will find out soon enough but right now my mother had designed a helmet to absorb the radiation." I moved as close as the cage would let me to Lex "You want me to solar flare that's never going to happen." I put my hands on my hips

"Right now, I can't hurt you." Lex grabbed the gun off one of the guards and pointed it at Mon-El "But my mother had studied your friend here and found that even though he's strong he has a bad lead allergy." Lex shot Mon-El in the leg. "No Mon-El." I scanned him and seen he was okay, but I couldn't solar flare I don't know what Lex has planned. "I still won't do it Lex." Then came the hard part I watched as Lex pulled Lena roughly by the arm into the room and put the gun to her head. "Lex don't you dare hurt her!" Lena looked at me with pleading eyes. "She will be safe as long as you do as I ask." There was no way I would risk Lena's life I couldn't.

"Lex stop put the gun down I will do it!" then Lena shouted "No! Kara don't do it." Lex turned and slapped Lena across the face. "I said don't hurt her!" Lex looked at the guard holding the helmet and nodded to give it to me. The guard opened the cage and I put it on I did as Lex asked and began depleting my heat vision into the helmet. As soon as I solar flared I dropped to the fall I felt so weak I couldn't stand up. Lex got two of the guards to lift me up a little as he bent down. "Thank you." Then he slapped my face causing my mouth to bleed. "That's disappointing I was hoping your blood wasn't red."

I watched as Lena went to come towards me. "Jess stay back." Lena's expression went from shock to realising I was protecting her, convincing Lex that she is loyal to him. "Let her go now Lex I have done what you needed please just let her go." I pleaded with him, but he just laughed "Someone has got it bad haven't they. Shame its all based on lies." I looked confused. "What are you talking about?" before he could speak Lena jumped in "Lex please don't do this." Lex looked from me to Lena "Now Lena she should know the truth." "Lena? What is he talking about Jess?"

Lena

I thought I hated Lex now I know I do. "Kara I'm sorry I lied." Before either of us could talk Lex ordered the guards to take Kara away somewhere. Alex, Kara as solar flared Lex as taken her send everyone. I didn't need Alex to reply I knew that the second she got that text the team would be on their way. I caught up with Lex "What are you going to do with her? Superman isn't back yet." Lex carried on marching as he spoke "You will find out I needed a way to get a needle in that skin of hers." It took a while for my brain to process what Lex had just said. "A needle for what?"

Lex paused outside of a room I hadn't noticed when we came in. "Little sis your about to find out." Lex pushed open the door and as I walked in behind him, I seen something I will never be able to shift out my mind. Kara was strapped to a hospital bed Lex walked over to her, picked up the needle out of the metal dish next to the bed. "You may feel a sharp scratch." Lex was laughing all I could do was watch as he took a few vials of Kara's blood. I couldn't watch any longer I walked out Kara was unconscious by now I hoped Alex wasn't far away. Alex be quick, Lex has taken some of Kara's blood she's unconscious. I hated that I couldn't help her.

Then I remembered Mon-El I went to check on him. He was propped up the side of the cage he had tied his shirt around his leg. "Are you okay?" I bent down by Mon-El he just blanked me. "Can you hear me Mon-El? Alex is on her way you will be okay." That's when he turned to face me "Don't get to comfortable Kara belongs to me." he spoke with so much venom. "For your information Kara is a person not a thing she belongs to no one and second you're a little to late me and Kara are official." Mon-El scoffed "You have lied to her do you think she will forgive you?" I ignored him stood up and walked away.
