A brown hair boy who was the age of twelve walked in Miami hospital he wasn't feeling too nervous, just curious on where the room he intended to go to was at. He asked a nurse passing by and she told him. However, when the lad gotten there, he stood in front of the door with a nervous expression and a stiffen body.
"Don't be a big baby and go in already?!" A familiar voice popped up.
He narrowed his for a second, feeling annoyed a by the voice's words. It was his fault that things are like this. Letting out a defeated sigh, the twelve year-old gulped before he placed a hand the door's handle, opening it.
There he saw his friend, a glasses wearing girl who was his age sitting on her bed messing around with something on her food tray.
Just then K.O's body stiffen back up when he saw his friend ceasing what she was doing and looked at him.
"Oh, uh?" He uttered, breaking eye contact several times struggling to masks his nervousness with a smile. "Hi Dendy?"
"Greetings K.O." The glasses wear replied.
"So nice, huh?"
"Agreed,"
K.O soon watched his friend bring out her cell phone and started to fiddle around on it.
"Based on my weather app, there's a eighty point nine percent of favorable weather."
"Oh." He responded looking side to side, insecure on what to say. As K.O walked over curious on what the girl was doing on the tray.
"Guess that you've been busy with your deck?"
"Correct. In my ample time of resting, I've been inventing new strategies."
"That sounds good. Sure wish we could duel each other again."
"Hm?"
At that moment, K.O felt a bit of his nervousness return. He looked away. Why did she after to look at him like she was plotting something?
"Have you gotten any better at controlling him?"
"Uh, yeah. Of course I did."
"Faker!" The same familiar voice sprang up.
He narrowed his eyes for a second before resetting his attention back on his friend.
"I would like to duel you again, when I get out of the hospital."
"O.. kay."
K.O felt his heart pounded as he said that. It and the worrying continue even after he left and walked down the street Miami streets.
What was he going to do? Dendy excepted a duel where his darker half wouldn't hurt her again, but she would find out about the newest sin had had committed.
"Agh, This is all your fault Why did you tell her that you big baby?!" The voice from earlier sprang back up.
"I didn't want her to worry T.K.O."
"Who cares? All that matter is having fun in winning."
He wanted to tell his alter ego that there to more to dueling then having fun through winning and that just dueling with his friends was all that needed, however he knew T.K.O would never hear listen to him. However, he didn't. When the brown-eyed boy last told him not use an attack, it send Dendy to the hospital; so why would he listen now?
Meanwhile a kid with green and red hair was going trough his own problems. The teen watched as his friend, gong fallen to the ground.
"Gong?" He called he rushed over as their monsters disappeared. "Are you okay?"
"Gong's alright. Gong wasn't excepting that move."
"Sorry, guess I lost control their for a bit?"
"YUYA!" The Christmas-colored hair lad heard a familiar voice spoken up. He looked behind him and saw their other friends running towards them.
"Hey guys." Yuya replied with a beam, despite the uncertainty he was feeling.
"That was an awesome duel." Tate said, smiling right back.
"Yuya was in complete control during the duel." Fredrick added.
"Maybe Yuya could battle with other duelist now?" Alley asked, sounding hopeful.
The red-green haired duelist looked away with a sadden expression, holding the crystal that was attached to his necklace.
"Actually, I wasn't. I lost control for a second back there."
"Don't worry so much, Yuya?"
He turned back and saw Yuzu standing wearing a smile.
"I'm sure, You'll be able to keep Yuri from doing things to drastic."
"Thanks Yuzu." He said with honesty.
Despite his optimistic wording, he felt deep down that controlling his half. It's been while since he and the other Yu boys separated except Yuri stayed because he didn't any place to go back too. and since the purple haired Yu boy caused a lot damage to Yugo, Yuto, and their love ones, it was no wonder why he stayed with Yuya. However, that they liked it.
"My you two sure are cute together." A familiar voice popped up.
"Would you pipe it down?" He whispered.
"But I was trying to compliment you."
"Well, compliment something else other then me and Yuzu?"
Just then, the duel colored hair duelist noticed said looking at him with a baffled expression.
"Wo, hey, why are you looking at me like that?"
"You seemed to be muttering something to yourself."
"Guess I was just use to Yuto being inside me that it became a habit?" Yuya said hoping his half of a lie would fool them.
"Okay."
"Say, how about we find a stranger for Yuya to duel now?" Alley suddenly questioned.
"He's gotten better at controlling Yuri." Tate stated.
"Gong notices this too."
At that moment, Yuya soon noticed all questioning eyes fallen on him.
"Okay, but where are we going to going to find them?"
He and his friends were silent on for a bit. The person has to not have knowledge about what happen with Zarc and the dimensions, otherwise they might either provoke Yuri to come out or they'll be too scared because of that. This maybe a tough one.
"Hey there's someone Tate uttered, snapping Yuya out of his thoughts.
