Chica's Baby Tooth

It was a calm day in the Sunshine Barn. Chica the chicken was tired. She then noticed Kaitlin McKreckson.
"Heya, Chica!" the nine year old girl exclaimed. "It's 12PM, our show's finished, so WE'RE FREE! What do you wanna do now?"
Chica shrugged. Just then, she noticed a wiggly tooth.
"Your tooth's wiggly?" Kaitlin asked. "Weird. I didn't know chickens had teeth!"
Chica squeaked, and Kaitlin translated "Well, they do."
"When my first baby tooth was wiggly, my parents told me to wiggle it out. It really hurt, but I tried, and it totally worked!" Kaitlin told the squeaky chicken.
Chica tried to wiggle - fast and slow, back and forth - but it didn't work. Her tooth was still wiggly, but it hurt. She moaned.
Kaitlin grabbed her best friend Emily Borromeo. "Emily, Chica's tooth is wiggly and she hasn't lost it yet. It hurts!"
"Well, maybe she should wiggle it more." suggested Emily.
"She tried, a lot. And no matter what, it still doesn't come out, which is annoying. Everyone else on Sprout has lost their teeth so far." Kaitlin explained, before breaking down into a list of her Sprout friends who have lost their baby teeth. "Star, Banjo, Patty, Sharon, Ricky, Reginald, Curtis E. Owl, Otis, Squacky, Cowbella, Apollo, Sweetpea Sue, Meeka, M'Goats, Rico, JB, Coo, Noodle McNoodle…"
"…And Chica hasn't!"
Chica was still wiggling her loose tooth. "Come on Chica, keep wiggling!" Kaitlin insisted.
The tooth got very wiggly until it finally fell out.
"Did I just hear that correctly? Chica lost her baby tooth?" Emily questioned.
Chica nodded and squeaked "yes." Kaitlin was freaking out, until Emily stopped her.
"Hey everyone! Come here!" Kaitlin exclaimed, bringing Carly Ciarrocchi, Tim Kubart, and Kaitlin Becker over.
"Kaitlin M., Emily, what's up?" Kaitlin B. asked.
"It's a big day in the Sunshine Barn, maybe even in the Hills of Sprout!"
"But what is it? Did Chica learn to tie her shoes?" asked Carly.
"No. She just lost her baby tooth!" Emily explained.
"Here's the scoop - it was wiggly today, but then she wiggled it out and then it fell out." Kaitlin added. Everyone was amazed.
"Chickens don't have teeth." Tim pointed out.
"…but Chica does." Kaitlin replied. Everyone laughed.
"Wow, Chica, out of everyone from the hills of Sprout I know, they've all lost their baby teeth, and now you've joined the team!" Carly told her. "That means the tooth fairy is coming!"
Chica was confused. She squeaked.
"You don't know who the tooth fairy is?" Everyone asked.
"She's a magical fairy who takes your tooth in the middle of the night when you leave it under your pillow, and turns it into some money." Kaitlin B. said.
"When I lost my first baby tooth, the tooth fairy came and gave me two gold coins, and I got two number gnomes in return." added Kaitlin.
"Tell us what you want when you get the tooth fairy money, OK?" asked Tim. Chica squeaked back.
That night, Chica went to her nest in the barn and said goodnight to everyone. She squeaked something, which Emily translated.
"You're going to get some sleep so the Tooth Fairy can come. OK! Sounds like a plan Jan!"
Chica held her Baby Chick and waved goodnight to Emily and Kaitlin as they left the Sunshine Barn. She put her baby tooth under her pillow and soon fell asleep in her nest, in hopes that the Tooth Fairy soon would be there.
The Tooth Fairy soon landed in the Sunshine Barn, took Chica's tooth, and traded it with two gold coins.
She also sprinkled magic dust on the sleeping chicken. "Goodnight Chica, sweet dreams!" the Tooth Fairy said as she flew away from the barn.
The next morning, when Chica woke up, she noticed two gold coins next to her nest. Kaitlin and Emily walked in, and Chica "told" them about the coins.
"What are you going to buy with those coins?" asked Emily.
Chica squeaked at her. It was clear she wanted a book and DVD. So Kaitlin McKreckson and Emily Borromeo went to the store and got Chica a book about Sprout's history and "The Best of Sprout," a DVD with clips of Sprout shows and blocks. Once they got back to the Sunshine Barn, Chica was surprised to see them. She always wanted them.
Later that day, Chica, Kaitlin, and Emily gathered Carly, Tim, and Kaitlin B. They told them about what Chica got with her coins.
"Impressive! I've always wanted to learn more about Sprout's history AND never knew there was a Sprout DVD!" Carly exclaimed.
"Chica, did you know that new teeth grow in your baby teeth's places?" Kaitlin B. told her.
Chica squeaked something again. It was clear she was saying "No way!"
"Well, it's true. My teeth are where my old baby teeth used to be." Kaitlin pointed out.
Chica was surprised.
Over the days, Chica grew a new tooth and showed her friends. She was very excited for her next tooth to fall out!
