Hi guys!

I know it's been 5 years since this was updated - so why (if you're still even visiting ) is it being updated now?

I've been trying to work on the sequels with TGTBTR as the reference, but it has been near impossible when all I see revisiting this work are inconsistencies, mistakes, and things I wanted to write and hinted at but forgot to add. Needless to say, it's been frustrating and it's holding back the sequel.

So I decided I would like to rewrite this. Now that I've grown as a person and a writer, I think I can really do this story justice and set myself up for a sequel I'll actually write - one that doesn't frustrate me to no end. I have yet to start the rewriting process as I'm currently going through this story and actually making a plan for the second one (something that I did not do the first time. I was winging it half the time.), but hopefully the first rewritten chapter will be up by September.

I'm aiming for semi-regular updates of at least once a month, if not twice a month, since I prefer to write and post as I go. I'm still retaining the core parts of the story, though I'm changing up some things that I feel didn't work or adding in the things that I did forget. The plot will still remain the same.

If you're reading this and if you would like to read the rewritten story, don't worry. It will be posted to on this account. But if you don't use this site anymore and are just reading this because you got the notification, I'm also going to post the rewritten version on my AO3 at the same username.

The old version is not being deleted and it is also not going to be posted on my AO3. This is the only place it will be, and it will remain here. While I'm not that proud of the work itself, I am proud of the effort I put into it. This was my first completed work of over 50k, and I will always be proud of that. It jumpstarted my interest in writing novels and because I completed this once, I started to write my own original novels. This is a piece of my history and it won't be going anywhere.

Thank you for reading the original. And if you read the new version, thank you so much for that as well. Your support means everything to me and thank you so much for enjoying my work, even in its messy state.
