"Where is it?" Adrien Agreste mumbled. He was looking for the plastic dinosaurs that his mother had gotten for him when he was little. He turned to his Kwami, who was eating a piece of cheese.

"Plagg, have you seen my box of toys?" Adrien straightened up, wiping his forehead. "Unless its a box of cheese, I'm perfectly fine here," Plagg said. Adrien shrugged and resumed his search.

A musical laugh made him look up to the window. Ladybug looked like a angel, bathed in the late afternoon sun. "Missing something?" she said, lightly swinging into the room.

Ladybug had been stopping by lately, and Adrien (who was also her partner superhero Cat Noir) was thrilled. "Yeah, if you see a box of toys, give a shout, okay?" "Okay."

Adrien watched her look, she was so focused. She moved a few books from a high shelf, then pulled down a plastic box. Blowing the dust from the lid she said, "I think I found it!"

Adrien walked over as she opened the lid, and Adrien stared down into the box. These were the toys that Mother had given him all those years ago. Ladybug put a hand on his shoulder. "You all right?" she asked, softly. "Mother would let me buy a new toy at the toy store when I finished a new piano piece," he explained. "Father would have the final say, but these toys were so much fun…" his voice trailed off.

He looked up as Ladybug's stomach rumbled. "Sorry," she said. "Would you like anything?" he asked, as they walked over to the white couch in the middle of the room. "Coffee, please?" she asked like a question.

"I'll get right on that," he smiled at her, and her eyes lit up when her eyes met his. A happy glow spread through Adrien as he brewed the coffee, and set a pot of creamer, two mugs and a plate of cookies on a tray.

He walked back to his room, to find Ladybug sitting on the couch still. "Oh, wow!" she said. "It said on the Ladyblog you like cookies with your coffee," Adrien flashed her a grin. "That girl, Alya, gets most things right about me, doesn't she?" Ladybug said, as she sipped her coffee. "Do you have any friends, Ladybug?" he asked. A friend could ask that, right? "A few. But sometimes," she paused. "I wonder who my real friends are and not just I-want-a-autograph friend. You know?"

"I can relate to that." Adrien said. "What, because your Paris's fashion model?" she teased. "They can get lonely too," he said. Ladybug brushed away something on her face, turning from Adrien. Adrien placed a hand on her shoulder. "Are you okay?" he asked. Ladybug muffled a slight sob. "I've just been feeling so alone lately," she tried to say. Slowly, Adrien pulled her into a hug. Ladybug stiffened for a moment, then leaned into his embrace. He smelled good, of fresh colonge and goodness. "Its not easy, being a superhero, is it?" he asked. "Well, sometimes I love it." "Is it nice working with Cat Noir?"

Ladybug nodded, and a expression Adrien couldn't read, crossed over her face. "He's my best friend. I'm working on opening up more towards him. I-I'm kinda shy underneath the mask," she stammered on the last part. "I think being a bit shy is good. Makes you look at the world with a compassion," he told her. "Do you have many friends?" Ladybug asked, her eyes were dry now. I wonder how many "real hugs" she gets. Adrien thought.

"Well, there's my buddy Nino. But my main friend, her name is Marinette," he said. "Is she nice, pretty?" Ladybug asked. "she's a good listener. And she stands up for others," Adrien told her. "She reminds me a lot of you," he said.

Ladybug nodded. She changed the subject by nodding to Adrien's piano in the middle of the room. "Could you play for me?" she asked. "Of course," he said, walking over to the piano.

As Adrien began to play, he got lost in the music. Having his Bugaboo here, made the ache of being lonely and shut in doors made today so much more bearable.

Ladybug clapped as Adrien walked back over to her. "That was beautiful," she whispered. "Ladybug…." Adrien started to say. Should he ask her to stay and watch a movie? He would get to later with Marinette as Cat Noir, but without the mask, Adrien was just as shy as Marinette. "yes?" she asked. "Would you like to watch a movie?" he tried to keep his hands from shaking. Ladybug smiled. "yeah, I love to. And besides," she held her cookie. "I haven't finished my snack yet," she grinned.

Adrien pulled a soft blanket off his bed and started the movie, plopping down next to Ladybug. So close he could feel her body heat, and smell her beautiful perfume.

Halfway through the movie, Ladybug yawned slightly. "Sorry," she said, blushing. "if you want to lie down, you can," Adrien said, softly. He expected her to lean against her side of the couch, so when she laid down across his lap, his heart nearly stopped.

Okay, so they had been hanging out a lot, but he hadn't been expecting this! He looked down to find his

M'lady fast asleep, her breathing even. She looked so peaceful, the stressed erased from her face.

Adrien's hand slowly touched her hair, moving a pigtails holders out of her hair, then began stroking it. Ladybug sighed happily in her sleep, murmuring, "keep doing that."

Adrien continued, rubbing her back and she fully relaxed. He hadn't expected to cuddle with Ladybug today, but his heart sang a different tune from what he played for her earlier. A tune of joy.

After awhile, Ladybug slowly opened her eyes. "Kitty?" she asked, groggily. "No, just Adrien here," he said. He kissed her soft cheek, nuzzling her ear. Ladybug shivered happily. "You look like my Kitty. You have his green eyes," she said. "You are one sleepy bug. But don't worry, Cat's not far away."
