Singularity F

Servants. They are legendary heroes of history that can range from mythical epics to bizarre realities. It can range from a knight that upholds the peace and proudly stand for his own ideals or a monster who bears every evil so that nobody else would.

They etch their names into history, carve it so that they would never be forgotten.

Someone from the modern times facing off someone who could possibly counter literal gods is absurd, laughable even.

Yet here Olga was, staring at Shirou Emiya facing off against a Rider class Servant that's faster than the human eye. Even the Demi-Servant is surprised at the current situation.

"Senpai… can fight Servants?" Mash looks in wonder as she witnesses the spectacle that is happening right in front of her eyes.

From Shirou's perspective, calling this a fight was laughable at best. He is doing everything he can to defend himself from the Servant's attacks. But her random patterns, her thunderous speed, her agile flexibility, made it incredibly difficult for him to even counter attack.

Whatever he does… he just has to make sure he doesn't stare into her eyes. He's lucky that she has a blindfold on too. He doesn't know how dangerous it is to stare her in the eyes, but he has a feeling that he experienced it before and it is a sensation that he never wants to experience again.

Shirou slashes with his left sword, Kanshou, at the oncoming attack. The impact from the Servant pushes him back. His left arm feels like it wants to tear itself out.

"If you take off the shroud, you'll die."

Shroud…? But he has none… His arm is right there…

"Goaagh."

He coughs out blood as the Servant kicked him in the stomach. He reinforced his entire body, so the impact shouldn't have been as painful as it normally should.

But it still hurt.

Like some horse decided to rush and headbutt you in the stomach. The pain is immense and knocked a lot of air out of Shirou. He was knocked back several feet before he finally landed on the floor. He struggled for air as he attempted to stand up.

"Senpai!"

Mash begins to rush in as Shirou got injured. There were no immediate threats in the vicinity other than the Servant. She was the one the group had to deal with.

"Ha!"

She slams her shield at the Servant, who was caught off guard. It sent her back a bit as Mash prepares to follow up with the edge of her shield. She rushes towards her as she lifts up her weapon and thrusts it at her.

Clang

"What?!"

The Servant caught the shield with her bare hands. In terms of strength, she is only one parameter above Mash. Catching it with should be possible, but not with ease. So how was it possible.

Rider growls in anger.

Monstrous Strength. This skill should normally belong to monsters and beasts alike. However, this skill is necessary to Rider, as her Noble Phantasm cannot be used in close quarter combat. It allowed her to use that strength with ease.

This skill would normally turn Rider into a legendary beast. But after what had happened… after what was lost…

What would it matter?

The Servant looks up, annoyed at Mash, who was struggling to hold the shield. "You…"

She raises her dagger to stab her but she is interrupted as the black sword is thrown at Rider, cutting her right hand.

Shirou glares at Rider with Byakuya still in his hands. "Like I'd let you hurt her!"

He is relieved that Mash is alive. But currently, with the given situation, the relief is short lived. They are in the middle of a battle. Their reunion should wait.

Rider returns the glare, but that distraction was enough to have Mash get the shield out of her grasp. Rider turns to have her face meet the edge of the shield, knocking her in the air.

"Hora!"

Shirou throws Byakuya while rushing in to collect the thrown Kanshou. Rider manages to defend herself from the oncoming strike, parrying the sword mid-air.

"You…!"

Shirou notices his sword return to him as he gets the other one.

These swords… have magnetic properties?

Somewhat true.

Kanshou and Byakuya are always connected to each other. If one is thrown, it will find a way back to the wielder who has the other one. These twin blades are inseparable. A perfect representation of yin and yang.

Shirou stares at Rider while preparing the image in his mind. "Well then, if that's the case…!" He throws both the swords at her.

Rider looks at him, thinking about the foolish attempt. How straightforward.

She pulls her daggers and the chains form a shield to block the twin blades. The attack was predictable, easy to read, and stupid. There are many ways to go around that attack he pulled off.

But what she didn't expect was for his Servant to immediately follow through, as she pops up right in front of her.

"You…!"

"Ha!"

Mash smacks Rider with her shield again and sends her off a great distance…

Shirou leaps to catch one of the swords as the other begins to spin around to return to it's other. After catching it, he lands right besides Mash and leaves his guard up.

Shirou and Mash both pant as they assess the situation.

For Shirou, the greatest concern was Mash and the Director. Now that he found them, he had to bring them to safety. But that means they have to defeat that Servant.

At the rate they were going… it's going to be impossible to do so.

Rider relies on her speed and agility, but that does not mean she is not strong herself. Currently, she can beat the two of them. In fact, he doesn't even understand why she isn't finishing them off instantly. Given that she currently seems to hate him, it would make sense to kill him on the spot.

For Mash, she couldn't even think anymore. All that training in the simulator, all that preparation was nothing like the real thing. She may be able to keep up, but she won't be able to dish out as much damage as she'd like.

Her role is to be the defensive one. From what she can see, her Master likes to be at the offensive. Therefore, right now they need to find a balance in order to defeat her.

"You…!" Rider quickly reaches for the back of her head in order to undo her blindfold. This is to be the deciding move of these next few attacks.

However, …

"That's too bad, Rider. Thanks to these two, you fell right into my trap."

… someone else interfered.

Shirou looks up to see a man in light blue clothes and has his hoodie with a fluffy appearance. His blue hair, his red gaze, his battle hungry smile. They all seemed too familiar to Shirou.

But nothing enters his mind.

"You're…"

"Save it kid! Right now, I'm about to roast this woman!"

Caster waves his staff as runes appear out of nowhere, blasting out flame around Rider as she grits her teeth.

She glares through her blindfold as Caster smirks. She knows. As much as she hated it, as much as she despised this outcome. It is fairly obvious at this point.

She had lost.

Caster slams the floor with his palm. "Ansuz."

With that a pillar of flame consumes Rider as she screams in agony. Mash winces as she looks on and Olga looks in fear of the Caster.

Shirou looks towards the Rider class Servant with his eyes beginning to tear up.

He knew her. Someone that knew his past. He fought with her because she was hurting people he knew, but somehow, he knows that isn't the type of person she is. Something must have broken her.

No.

He knows exactly what did.

There can only be one possible explanation for the current situation. One that Shirou clenches his fists at the thought.

He failed here.

That's the only thing ringing through his mind.

Amidst the burning flames, he sees her glare at him. Her mouth opens and closes as the torching of her body consumes her. Her purple hair turning into cinders, her body turning into sparkles of mana and her clothes into ash.

They won…

Mash's body falls limp as Olga sighs a breath of relief. It was their first experience in a Holy Grail War. It was even their first time to see Servants in action. This newcomer was clearly an ally to help them out, but as a magus she should be wary of him.

On the other hand, Caster was curious about the Servant. There was something… off about her. She uses a shield, yet she does not seem like she's at her full potential. Like she's being held back by her own self. But from the looks of it, she seems unaware of it… it seems like he might have to teach her about it soon.

Yet amidst all of them, someone felt the worst from this outcome. Looking at the burnt remains, the charred spot, Shirou felt like he had lost for some reason. Her final words stuck in his mind.

"Why couldn't you have saved her?"

.

.

.

In the depths of the cavern, the guardian reports to the holder of the Grail. They have lost a Servant.

Artoria Pendragon remains as emotionless as ever. She turns to Archer with her eyes as sharp as ever. Her expression betraying nothing of her intent.

"Find the boy and bring him to me. I will personally kill him myself."

Archer simply nods and runs away. He has a plan in mind to get rid of Shirou Emiya.

It's time to put their Berserker to use.

.

.

.

"Well for now, I'm your ally." Caster smiles as he grabs Shirou by the head with his arm, hugging him around his neck as they walk to a nearby leyline. "Seems like we meet again, eh kid?"

Caster joined them after giving them a bit of information about the current Singularity. There are 7 Servants including Caster and Rider. Assassin and Lancer are off somewhere else dueling with each other, while Berserker was on a rampage somewhere.

The ones holding the Grail are Saber and Archer.

Their current plan of action was to search for a leyline to rest and replenish energy. There seems to be another reason, but Marie did not explain any further other than that.

Shirou smiles weakly as he turns to face the Servant. "I… I'm sorry. I don't remember you. Nor anything about the Holy Grail War."

Caster looks at him and whistles. "Damn. That's a shame." He looks up to the sky and shrugs. "Or maybe it isn't a shame. Might be a good thing that you don't remember me stabbing you in the heart."

Shirou stops walking.

"What? You came back right fine after than and you summoned Saber afterwards." He laughs it off as he walks away.

Shirou holds his hand over his heart. It's true that there was a scar in his heart… so that was what happened?

"Sorry kid. Looks like you were pretty unlucky to bump into me."

He holds his head with his left arm. A new memory. The aching was strong.

"Damn. Why is this happening…?"

Being unable to remember. Being able to remember. Contradictory statements, memories they all collide with him.

Did he truly succeed in saving Sakura Matou? Or did he fail like in this world?

Trying to look at it from a factual stand point, he doesn't know. He is unaware how much of his memory was cut, how his amnesia functions. All he remembered, or rather feels, is that he saved Sakura Matou and that he was saved by his sister, Illyasviel von Einzbern. Then he is contacted by Merlin for Chaldea.

In truth, he does not know anything about his time. Things slip out but he still does not truly know anything. Doubt festers in his mind.

This troublesome memory of his is what holds him back.

"Senpai?"

Shirou looks up to see Mash stare at him. She walked back just to check on him.

Ah. That's right.

They were walking towards a leyline for some reason Olga would not explain yet. Mash tilts her head as she looks at Shirou. "Are you alright? Does this have something to do with your amnesia?"

Shirou stares at her and chuckles nervously. "No, no. Don't worry about me. I'm fine. Let's just move forward." Shirou walks right past Mash in order to hide his fears.

Whether or not he failed in saving her, in order to see her again, he needs to so this task.

Mash just watches him walk away with her hands holding her chest and eyes looking worried.

.

.

.

"We made it." Marie sighs as they make it to a leyline. Shirou looks around him and wonders if he knows the place.

"To—ak-"

The headache came again but he decided to ignore it as Olga's attention went directly to him.

"We still can't get into contact with Chaldea yet. Maybe after we connect to the leyline and perform the summoning ritual, we can actually get in contact with them… and maybe Lev… maybe he can find a way out of this situation…"

Shirou eyes her. It seems that she looks up to Lev Lanur. He stays quiet for now as he does not understand the full situation around him yet.

Mash looks at Olga. "We need more Servants?"

The director nods. "While it is good that we have you and Caster, it won't be enough to guarantee a victory at all. With additional Servants, it's sure to help us out in ensuring our victory."

"In other words…" Shirou reached the conclusion ahead of Mash as the director nods at Shirou.

"We need more Servants to help us out." Marie explains as she draws a simple magic circle over the leyline.

For a Holy Grail War, you do not need a complicated magic circle since the Grail will be the one to do the actual summoning. However, since this is a special case, it will be Chaldea that will provide the prana in order to summon the Servant.

Shirou will act still as a Master, but he will not drain himself dry of his mana thanks to the connection he has to Chaldea. Thanks to Chaldea's summoning system, he should be allowed to summon multiple Servants.

Marie turns to Shielder. "Mash, can you place your shield over here?"

Mash blinks before placing her shield over the circle. The circle began to flow as magical energy was poured into it.

Marie then turns to Shirou. "Since you'll be the one doing the summoning, you'll have to be the one to do the chant. Just repeat after me."

After a few minutes of explanation, all while Cu is watching, Shirou nods and heads over to the summoning circle.

Cu smirks. "Wonder what will come outta this one?"

Shirou closes his eyes and stretches out his hands. He lets the prana flow out of his body and into the summoning circle.

He feels like he's done this before but not properly. This time however… this time…

His circuits begin to flare up. Tracing all the way to his eyes. The magical energy feeling like it's about to burst at any given moment.

He opens his eyes.

"I announce!"

The shield cries out.

.

.

.

Two knights stand up.

They smile. They know what is pulling them in. It is the shield of their comrade. The shield that united them as they sat around it.

They get prepared.

One is short and clad in silver steel armor. The knight picks up a shield and a lance that seems to be too big for the knight to handle. Still, the knight bears these weapons proudly and strongly. Staring down into nothingness, the call is there. The knight is being summoned.

The other is larger than life. Bearing bulky armor that is white as clouds and lets his short white hair get blown away by the fictional wind. He prepares his spear that matches his armor. His smile radiates through the darkness as he steps forward. The call is there.

The Knights of the Round head the call.

.

.

.

"Let it be declared here and now! Your self is under me and my fate shall be with your sword!"

The arm cries out.

.

.

.

It should be impossible to summon him. For he already exists inside the singularity. The red clad marksman has betrayed humanity for this singularity. The Wrought Iron Hero had become the Guardian for the enemy of mankind.

But what about his broken counterpart?

He fires another round as another body drops. The hole in his chest left agape as it stares into the smoking barrel of the gun.

The Counter Guardian shows no emotion. He's done this countless of times. A logical outcome.

He feels a tug against his darkened skin. It wasn't the breaking of his body, but rather a call. It seems like there was another job for him this time.

But he feels like this job would be a catastrophe.

He chuckles. "Well then… a job's a job. What will you have me do this time… Alaya?"

Golden eyes stare into a bright shining light as the call pulls him over.

And EMIYA Alter joins the battle for humanity.

.

.

.

"In accordance to the will of the Holy Grail, if you abide by this feeling and reason, then answer!"

The ancestry cries out.

.

.

.

Her world was gone.

She knows that much.

But she travels anyway. As a wandering sword master. As a warrior with an unending journey. She will never stop until she reaches the pinnacle of swordsmanship. She will not stop walking down this path until she reaches the void. She will continue to walk and move forward and fight as many enemies as she can.

She sheathes her own swords as she slices down another enemy. She sighs as the next enemy kind of disappoints her with how much he had been gloating that he was the greatest swordsman. He had a long way to go.

She considers her next move before-

'Growwwwwwwwl'

Well, now she knows what to do next. She just needed something to eat first. A bowl of udon would be nice.

But before the swordswoman could even contemplate even further, she feels a strong pull. Something is calling out to her, asking for her help.

Normally she would refuse. That's the type of woman she is. She is still one incredibly selfish and self-centered woman after all.

However, …

She got the feeling that she would join many battles if she answered this call.

Besides… how could she refuse a call from a fellow swordsman?

Musashi Miyamoto smiles.

"Guess I'll join in as a Servant, huh?"

With that, she faded from the world she was currently living in.

.

.

.

"Here is my oath! I shall be one that becomes all the good in the world! I shall be one who destroys all the evil in the world!"

The victor cries out.

.

.

.

A victor of the Holy Grail War.

One won with sacrifice. With all those dreams that have passed, with all those dreams that move on to the future, he bears it all as he brings the Holy Grail to the Reverse Side of the world.

He waits for her there.

Should it be an eternity or even just a moment, he waits for her.

But he feels a slight tug in a certain direction.

Ah.

So that's what this is.

He may not be an experienced Servant, but he could guess that this is what they call a summoning. It seems that he's wanted for a Holy Grail War.

He does not know why he is wanted, all that he knows is that he is being summoned.

He chuckles.

He can't really go there, but he can send a copy of himself there.

When that copy vanishes, he'll retrieve the memories of that copy. He wonders what that version of him will experience.

So, he sends himself to his new Master. Not as Fafnir the Dragon.

But as Sieg, the Victor of the Great Holy Grail War.

.

.

.

"You seven clad in the heavens in three words of power, arrive from the ring of deterrence."

The heart cries out.

.

.

.

It was nothing but a bottomless ocean.

She thrives in it. Water is where she should naturally be.

But… even she would like to be summoned. She would never admit it however. This desire is something that is deep within her heart rather a desire that is obvious to her.

However, that was impossible. She is no natural Servant, and there is very little to nothing that connects her to the world. She exists only in the Mooncell. There is no way she would ever be summoned to fight in a Holy Grail War.

She sighs.

She's a prima donna. An epitome of beauty. She should have…

Well then, this development is certainly something new.

She smiles.

Perhaps a certain Don Juan called her out there, huh?

Whatever the chances, she is grateful for this miracle that has happened.

And so, with a beauty unmatched, with the core of three Goddesses, with a face and hair so similar to his beloved, she swims towards the call.

.

.

.

"O, Keeper of the Balance!"

The sheathe calls out.

.

.

.

The catalyst calls out. It wants to summon the true wielder. After all, it was who it was closely related too.

But she was an enemy. The true wielder cannot appear. For she had damned herself to eternal Holy Grail Wars.

Then there is only one more option.

The only alternative is to look into dead end worlds. The Throne of Heroes is a place that goes beyond past, present and future. It should stand to reason that it goes beyond the current strand of time and connect to even those.

Ah.

It seems there is one.

The Ruler of Avalon le Fae. The Queen of a Fairy Camelot. The Witch. The Sister of the Child of Prophecy.

Her blue eyes blanketed by her eyelids. Her pale skin hidden behind her veil. But her crown and her staff tower over all in her Camelot.

She should refuse. She would never support the Master.

Yet… she felt the urge to follow the pull.

It would be illogical of her to go through with it. It makes little sense to do so, as it would mean abandoning the kingdom that she had built for the fairies. Without her, the land would grow chaotic and filled with destruction.

But there is this odd sensation… this odd feeling that she couldn't shake off no matter what. An odd discomfort in her heart, a pain through her chest, and a sear through her brain. She could not help but picture a burning Camelot as she goes through this pain.

She is a ruler. She shows no weakness.

She stands from her throne and her eyes open. Her gaze piercing to those that would dare stare into them.

"It seems that it is time…"

She vanishes from her world.

.

.

.

Seven shadows. That leaves Marie in shock as Shirou kneels to the floor, suddenly feeling drained from summoning so many Servants instantly. Mash looks in awe as Caster whistles.

The blue man smirks as the new cast of Servants pop up. "Damn, kid. Seems like you got hella lucky."

"Servant Lancer, responding to your summons."

"Servant Lancer, responding to your summons."

"Servant Saber, responding to your summons."

"Servant Archer, responding to your summons."

"Servant Caster, responding to your summons."

"Servant Alter-Ego, responding to your summons."

"Servant Berserker, responding to your summons."

Each and every one of them stare down at Shirou as he looks up with weakened eyes. Some of them demanding respect, some filled with hate, and others with excitement and awe.

All of them legendary heroes across time and space. All of them people of great power. All of them have responded to his summons to aid him.

"Are you the one who summoned me?"

.

.

.

OMAKE

What really would have happened.

.

.

.

"Wha-"

"Wha-"

What stood on the shield was no Servant… it was no Heroic Spirit… it was no legend of old…

"How… How the hell can this be?" Caster asks as he just stares at the shield.

Shirou somehow fainted from the sight. Seeing it brought back a terrible memory. He recognizes what those are.

What stood there… was…

Ten plates of Mapo Tofu.

From across timelines, from across worlds. Second magic be damned. Everyone heard those words as soon as they realized what it was.

"Rejoice young man."

The priest smiles.

AN

So why did I take this long you ask?

I'm leaving my home country soon. I'm heading off to my university which is half-way around the world, so I'm a bit busy. I might have made a lot of mistakes with this current chapter, but I didn't want anybody to think I abandoned writing this. I can't even ask for help writing in the state I'm in because my free time's being devoured instantly.

Also, no. I don't plan on bringing ALL the Servants I summoned here for every Singularity. Just a few. There are too much, I learned from last time.

Anyways, don't expect an update for a bit… or maybe not. Remember, I told you I have an inconsistent schedule. So, keep that it mind as you read my stories.

Anyways, thanks for reading. I hope you enjoyed it! If not, then thank you for your time.
