"Sir, the team has returned from the mission at the Knee. According to Kikimora report there´s no Titan blood" said one of the guards to Belos who was working on some of the portal details. He was not in the least surprised by the news, it had been so long since he had visited the place. If it had been a successful trip it would have been the surprise.

"All right, tell Kikimora to come immediately," he said and in a moment he was alone again. The curse had become a problem recently, he could barely maintain his almost original form. That's why he tried to keep his temper at bay, the stress made it worse as with all curses.

"Y-You wanted to see me? "asked the trembling demon in a shaky voice, waiting uneasily.

"Kikimora... empty-handed,again" he spoke trying to sound annoyed by the failed mission and not so much by the presence of the woman.

"There was a setback! A young witch, one of the Blight's daughters was looking for Titan's blood just like us!"

"A young witch... with not so powerful parents, daughter of an inventor can deal with someone like you? A member of my coven? " something about that made him really annoyed, nowadays his witches showed weakness. With the day of unity getting closer and closer he couldn't tolerate that, maybe he should put them all into hibernation like Raine Whispers.

"N-No! Of course not sir, she just complicated operations but w-we have data that near the jaw there were reserves. The mission is on its way to leave tomorrow" almost whispered the demon trying to avoid the wrath of her superior. Belos didn't have time for that, Kikimora was just a distraction that he couldn't wait for the day to get rid of.

"All right, you'll have one last chance before I start questioning your place here," he sternly stated, "Now leave me alone"

Without a word the little woman left the room and Belos had to take off his mask because the pain was particularly unbearable that day. The effect of the last palisman was no longer working, he would soon begin to struggle to maintain his form. Suddenly he heard a small rustling of clothes and something jingling.

"Hunter... I thought I ordered you to stay safely in the castle," he turned to see the boy with several bruises and covered in abominable goo "you're starting to disobey"

"I just want to help you" the blond defended himself as he approached the older man "it took me a lot but I managed to get the original key. It broke in the process but there is still some blood inside it"

"I guess I should thank you for your effort" the man took it and looked at it "so there was a lot of resistance the human and the young Blight?"

"Uh... not much" for some reason Hunter was nervous, something different about him or at least in his presence. So indeed the young witch was involved but it didn't matter, she was in a coven and that was all that mattered...for now.

"Very well, good job Hunter," he said sincerely. He didn't know how he had managed it since his scepter had been confiscated as punishment for the failed mission last time. The blond smiled slightly and ducked his head, a small blush appeared on her cheeks.

"It was a pleasure helping you" he said before starting to walk to the exit.

"However Hunter... your scepter will remain confiscated for a while longer for disobeying orders"

"I understand. I accept my punishment," he replied with a bit of sadness and disappointment in his eyes.

"You know I do it for your own good, the Titan has big plans for you" Belos was about to start working on the key and stop the blood leakage but his young follower looked like he didn't want the conversation to end.

"Uncle, you keep telling me that over and over again. I wish you would at least give me a hint of those big plans... at least I want to know if my training, my potential is really adequate. I don't want to disappoint you, neither the Titan!"

Silence in the place, Belos meditated how much it could affect to talk to Hunter about it while the blond thought if he had done the right thing or it could be the last time he was going to see his uncle. Belos set the key down on his desk and faced the young man who couldn't help but take a step back at the action.

"I see that your body still reacts by his own"

"I just thought you'd kick me out of here" Hunter said, hating himself for a moment. So many years had passed since the time Belos accidentally attacked him when the curse overpowered him sooner than expected and hurt his cheek. That horrible appearance that rarely let him sleep.

"Come Hunter, I'll tell you something so you can get an idea of what plans there are for you" said the man walking to a few books nearby. The young man cautiously approached until he reached his side "Many years ago a human was the one who built this portal that we are repairing."

"I had heard something about the keeper of the castle library"

"It is a well-known rumor, but it is real. His name was Philip Wittebane, that man wanted to return home after being dragged by his brother to this place. Or rather abandoned. His brother had been blinded by the wild magic of a witch who inhabited the human realm, Philip also wanted to learn and was virtuous...perhaps with more potential than his brother. But one day he woke up here...he made a long journey of almost 6 years but finally found a way to open the portal home. His brother greeted him with apologies and gifts to show how sorry he was."

"What does all this have to do with?"

"You'll soon find out" said the elder still without looking at Hunter "but just when it looked like everything was getting better, his brother betrayed Philip. He cursed him using Titan blood that is in the human realm... Philip became a shapeless monster but the curse was such that it revolted in him. Killing the brother... Tell me Hunter, have you ever heard of the GrimWalkers?"

"No, I had never heard of them" admitted the young man. He was still confused what he had to do with the titan, with his uncle´s story, but at the same time he was hooked to it. He wanted to know more.

"They are beings that are born and kept in a deep sleep until someone gives them a purpose... or a soul. Philip returned to his original form but the curse wasn't going to go away until the same witch who cast it undoes it. If he didn't, Philip must have found a way to get rid of it."

"But the brother died, how could he come back to life?"

"There is a way, a Grimwalker can be given the task of being a reincarnation of a deceased being. But to do so completely an incredibly large amount of magic must be used. As the Glimwalker has a purpose it awakens from its sleep, begins to grow and if it is healthy then it may be a candidate to be able to reincarnate a somebody"

"Does that mean... that...?" Hunter tried to understand his place in all this but could not.

"One distinctive feature of the Grimwalker is to have eyes of a certain color... most witches have gold or blue eyes. They don't."

"I don't understand, wh-"

Suddenly Hunter felt an inexplicable pressure in his chest and closed his eyes trying to calm the pain.

Or so he thought.

Belos watched as Hunter began to emanate a dark aura, his eyes glowed so bright that you couldn't see his pupil and he was levitating a couple of meters above him. He took out of his pocket an amulet and pointed it directly at Hunter who was slowly beginning to relax to the point of fainting. He fell hard on the floor and Belos went to pick him up, left him leaning against the wall and decided to go back to his work.

"The day of the unity is near, finally I will be able to use the power of the Grimwalker after several attempts...I just hope he survives" he said looking in the direction of the blond "as for you, Titan, my part of the deal will be fulfilled. I expect the same from you."

Hello everyone!

This was my first fic about this cartoon and it all came from a crazy idea that came to my mind before I started writing. I don't know if I'll come up with more fics from (it's likely) but I tend to have trouble with this. Still there is a slight possibility.

I'd like to know what you thought of it, yes, I'm a little crazy. So I look forward to your messages. Thanks for reading and maybe we'll see each other soon with another story!

By the way, I'll upload this later to AO3 but I don't have an account yet and I have a date until the 22nd...so for now I'll just be posting here. Thanks again and see you next time!
