The stone floor was cold and damp, moss growing from the cracks scattered throughout the room like thick spider webs. There were no windows, and only one door made from 10-inch thick reinforced steel. The room smelled of rotting flesh just as it starts decaying, leaving a thick and putrid smell in the air. On the back wall of the room opposite the door sat a boy in a cruel state. The boy was on his knees hunched forwards. He had metal spikes hammered through his legs and arms as well as chains wrapped all around his body.

On his forearms were two celestial bronze cuffs 2 inches thick, attached to the cuffs were chains that went through holes in the walls. Through the holes, there were two boulders of osmium, both 5 cubic feet in size weighing a total of 7000 pounds on each arm pinning the boy to the spot. That being said, this boy was not what you would expect for a boy who had been rotting in a cell, had eaten nothing for five years, or moved for 2 and a half. He was tall, about 6 foot 6 and weighed about 210 pounds of solid muscle, not overly swole like Hercules but more ripped with useful muscle. His skin was still a perfect tan, despite not seeing the sun for years. His face was perfectly chiselled with a strong jaw and high cheekbones. He had a beard that went down to about his sternum. His hair was raven black and went down to about his mid-back. His head was down and his eyes were closed. This was the position he had stayed in for the last 2 and a half years until someone walked into his cell.

The man was wary not to get too close to him. An image flashed through his mind of the shredded corpse of the man who had gotten to close to this monster the last time someone entered his cell. The man steeled himself and then spoke, "there is a war brewing and the gods order you to help." The man did not move for a moment until his eyes shot open and in them, there was the darkest black with only miniature dots of fiery white showing an image the man couldn't quite make out. Those eyes made him feel small and insignificant like he was just a speck in the universe. A millisecond later, they changed back to what they once were, or at least almost.

The once calm and playful sea-green eyes had kept their base colour but also had a ring of fiery red around the pupil, and where you could once see mirth and playfulness you now saw anger and hatred hidden under a deep, calm yet dangerous, façade, then he met the eyes of the guard in front of him. The guard looked at him with slight fear hidden behind a confident mask. The man pulled out a key and was about to take off the chained man's cuffs when the chained man grunted causing the guard to squeal and jump back.

The cuffed man then stood with the giant metal spikes still in his legs and moved his arms to take out the spike, then, he yanked his arms in and pulled the osmium through the walls and afterwards flexed and broke the cuffs off his forearms. The guard then said while shaking in fear and complete terror "follow me, please" the prisoner nodded slowly and coldly and followed the guard out of his cell. he looked out of one of the windows and saw a city of gold floating in the sky 'Olympus' the prisoner thought 'city of the betrayers'

Each step he took echoed eerily in the walls of the prison. before he had stepped out of his cell loud arguing and screaming could be heard but as he walked the prison quieted. It was so quiet you could hear the sound of the blood dripping onto the floor out of the holes in the prisoner's body. The various enemies of Olympus shot empty threats at him loudly after a moment of silence. He continued walking until he heard a traitor demigod yell something that caught his attention "got to say I loved fucking that whore mother of your's oh great betrayer".

The prisoner stopped abruptly and whispered one-word "ειρήνη" then he followed with "στην ύπαρξή σας" in a harsher tone. After a moment he started to walk again and the demigod started to scream in agony and his body folded itself inside out while slowly combusting. He had walked out of the prison, blood dripping out of the holes in his arms and legs, though the holes seemed to slowly be healing. As he stood outside the prison a cloak had immediately appeared on his body. The guards realized this and tried to take off his hood so the goddess would see his face, yet when they tried they couldn't make the hood budge.

After a few minutes, they gave up and started walking however when it seemed he had expected them to turn left to take him to the throne room they didn't; instead, they kept walking straight. He walked for about 1 kilometer more and they walked right up to a chariot. Most men would cower in fear just by being near this chariot, it was silver and shone like the moon on a beautiful night. Anyone who did not know who's chariot this was would call it one of the most beautiful things they had ever seen, however, he knew who this chariot belonged to, it was the man-hating goddess of the moon, Lady Artemis.

He waited for about a minute before he saw her approach, all of the men around him bowed but he stayed standing. She was very displeased at this and punched him right in the stomach expecting weak and loose flesh only to find rock hard muscle. He hadn't moved an inch she took a step back and looked at him then walked past him with a scowl. as soon as she had walked past him all the men surrounding him stood, but no one saw as she shook her hand in pain. She stepped on her chariot and ordered the men to chain him to it they did the forty or so men had chained him to the back part of the chariot. Once he was on and secure she took off.

Prisoner pov

about 10 minutes later I was in the hunters camp in Manitoba in Canada when they landed Artemis hopped off of the chariot and ordered her hunters to carry me to the cage, the four hunters walked up to the chariot and lifted the floor that I was kneeling on and carried me off to a black metal box the hunters put me in there and then locked the door. I knelt there for a while before I fell asleep I awoke to the sound of banging on the cell entrance I heard it bang about 4 more time's before the door opened up I was pulled out of the cage and set down in front of Artemis "you are being ordered by the gods of Olympus to help with this battle, this will be one of many if you win all of these battles then you might be allowed to live freely" she said then whispered "of course you still won't be able to use your voice" she said with a slight smile "you will be fighting the smaller force and then you will help us in killing the general of this force" she said, I grunted and then pointed up she understood and said ok " well then girls he will take on the main force and we'll take on the smaller force" the girls smiled and then we started to walk to the battlefield once we got there artemis walked out onto an open battle field where there were about 600 monster's they charged I reached for my sword only to find it not there then I looked for artemis to my right to find her gone I turned around to look for her when my body reacted and I sidestepped to avoid a spear I then snapped the spear and starred at the enemy behind me it was a 14 foot tall cyclops I starred at its eye and all of the sudden it fell to the floor gasping and screaming in unimaginable pain before it started to tear itself apart before exploding, raining blood everywhere then there was a mighty growl and I lept forwards and started murdering the force with my bare hands. by the time I was done the hunters still had about 20 monsters left from their force of 100 so I decided to go and play a prank I walked into the war room in the base only to see a man that I recognized as Perses the titan of destruction, he looked at me and smiled before he said " wow did my army kill all but one I'm amazed that even you survived child it was an army of 700 but oh well I'll kill you now" he said with a smile when he made a fatal mistake he looked me in the eyes

What Perses observed was an unimaginable hatred and an imprisoned power. He knew immediately that this person could so much as stare harder and Perses would burst in a shower of blood then he started to move toward the man in front of him before he realized it wasn't his body that was moving it was his soul. The boy looked at him and pulled out the handle of a blade at first that's all it looked like just a handle when he saw light reflects off the blade and the blade's beauty terrified him and before he knew it the blade was swung through him and he had died he could feel Tartarus pulling him down and then he started to scream. The man then walked up to his body and took control of it then he let his soul float to Perses body and his body hit the floor the man started to feel what the body was like before he got into position

Artemis pov

I had walked the betrayer into the middle of the battlefield and then stolen his sword and ran, I wanted nothing more than for this boy to die, but a part of me wanted to help turn him back into what he once was, the man I had respected so much. However, he was dead now and all that was left was a hollow shell of a man. I had walked over to where the small force was when I heard a scream of pain. I turned, expecting to see the betrayer with some kind of weapon in him but when I turned I was utterly disgusted.

I saw a cyclops that had stared at the betrayer now screaming and slowly falling to the ground it started to clutch itself and tear its flesh off of its body. It was a disgusting sight so I turned away and started picking off the force we slowly made our way to the war room only to find the betrayer's body on the ground and perses sitting in his throne "hello there hunters how are you today" he asked Artemis quickly pulled out her bow and shot three arrows they all landed around his head " tell us who is your master" she asked.

All of the sudden there was a flicker of light and then he was hanging by chains with metal stakes through his body and a smile carved through his cheeks the hunters stepped back and then we heard a grunt and turned around there was The Betrayer no longer a lifeless corpse on the floor I looked surprised and he noticed and smiled at me I look away, angry before I remember something.

"Oh you have won your battle so I think I should give you this back" I went to hand him the sword handle only to find it not there I looked up to see him holding it in his hands " well I can still give you this back" I reached into my back pocket and threw a pen at him he caught it and smiled the light's flickered and then he was gone without a trace 'oh no if I lose him our plans could fall apart and Olympus may fall' I thought. "Hunter's look for him he needs to be found right away" we searched for an hour and a half before we decided to call off the search.

My hunters set up camp and walked up to the dining room when they opened the tent flaps I heard a gasp then multiple more gasp's I quickly walked over to check out what had happened when I walked in two of my youngest hunter's ran to me and hugged me and said thank you "why are you thanking me" I asked

"well you made all of this food right," they both asked confused I looked up and noticed the table covered in the finest foods any of the hunters could think of

"Ummm... as much as I would love to take credit for this, I didn't do it," I said. One of my hunters then spoke up

"milady there's a note it says 'I know this isn't enough to thank you for freeing me but it was all I could do with the time I had Thanks from you know who. P.S Don't try finding me I will flee to the land beyond your power." She finished and the hunters looked at me questioningly "who is it," one asked I looked at her

"it was Percy Jackson" all of the hunters looked at her in shock before Thalia my lieutenant started screaming at me

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT WAS PERCY. YOU TOLD ME YOURSELF THAT HE WAS EXECUTED ON OLYMPUS BY THE GODS FOR HIS TREASON AGAINST OTHER DEMIGODS, WHICH AGAIN DIDN'T HAPPEN, BUT NOW HE'S JUST ALIVE AND WELL AND WALKING THROUGH OUR CAMP." she exploded

"yes he was here, in fact, you helped carry him into his cell Thalia" I replied sadly Thalia looked at me with a face of betrayal before she stormed off, once I had eaten and all of the huntresses were done I sent them off to bed, then I walked about a mile from our camp where there was a cliff next to a lake, I sat there for a while thinking about everything that was going to happen soon and then I spoke a few words before I went to sleep "please come back Percy. Not The Betrayer, but Percy"

3 Months later

No one's pov

in the mountains of Girdwood Alaska, there is a place of extreme beauty and elegance near the top of the mountains. There is a small town, very basic but elegant. Across a medium-sized lake, there was a large hill in a circle in the middle of that circle there was a small pond. This small pond was impossible to see from far away. The reason being the ghostly fog that shrouded the area, but that's not what made it terrifying. The creak of the woods and the silence of nothingness the beautiful green trees encased in the cold fog of the lake it's what made this place so beautiful, but so terrifying to explore however the most terrifying thing about that area isn't the land or the fog, it was the rumours of the monster that lived there.

The rumours had started about 2 months ago when a newly married couple went for a hike and ended up deciding to go exploring through that area while walking around they decided to climb over the small hill that surrounded the pond and when the did they saw a monster it was about 6'6 and covered in hair the hair from its head went down to about the things butt and its beard hair went to the middle of its stomach the monster was made of sheer muscle and was built like a god however that didn't even slightly compare to the creature's eyes they seemed like they were once green maybe a bit blue.

But now they looked like a pale blue-white as if the person inside the body had died a long time ago but looking at the ring of angry blood red that surrounded the creature's pupil showed it was alive and the only thing it needed to finally rest was to kill something or someone. Rumours spread through Alaska and quickly to Canada then to America where one day a girl named Tracy Wilson. She had heard these rumours from a friend when she told her father who was an explorer and they set off to Girdwood, Alaska in search of a monster.

it was 2 weeks later when the Wilson's were finally in Girdwood Alaska. They had followed the rumours to the village on the top of the Girdwood mountains it was early in the morning the fog had covered the lake leaving the far side of the lake invisible to the villagers. At about 7:30 AM Tracy and her father took a small boat across the lake they travelled around the land for a while until Tracy recommended they travel over the hill. Once they got over the hill they were greeted by a very strange sight.

There was a small hut set up and smoke coming out of the hut. Said hut was made of different animal pelts as well as stick and bones around the hut there were a few different things. First of all, there was a table that was made of wood and bone with a pelt as the tablecloth a few meters away from the table there was what looked like a training dummy that was made of the bones of a moose and with the skull of a black bear, this was not the weirdest part, however. The weirdest part was what happened afterwards, out of the hut came a man holding a small blade made of carved bone but he didn't try to attack Tracy and her father, he was trying to shave.

Tracy pov

As my dad and I stood there the creature in front of us stared at us curiously it started to take a step forward when my dad ran away at full speed, but I stayed. The creature looked at his retreating figure with sadness for a second before making a gurgled noise "ghhhgrefgghhh" it said "greaaaaanoraway" it said again then It cleared its throat and said "great another ran away" but then he looked down at me surprised. "Are you not scared of me" he asked I looked at him and smiled.

"Why should I be" I replied then smiled at him. He looked at me for a second before letting out a small chuckle.

"I like you little one, what's your name," he asked with a warm smile.

"I'm Tracy" I replied.

"Ok, Tracy tell me a little about you while we wait for your dad to come back".

the two of them talked for a few minutes before Tracy's dad came running back with a big knife but once he got there he saw Tracy was fine and laughing. he slowly came to a decision and approached the giant man and started talking to him as well. it didn't take long for them to get into a full conversation then talk long into the night. Percy learned that Andrew (Tracy's father) was an explorer and had made a few crazy discoveries. Percy started to talk about his quests changing some things and getting rid of the gods obviously but it had Tracy transfixed.

Tracy pov

as I watched the man and my father talk about their stories I eventually butted in and asked the man if he wanted to join us on an expedition. "Tracy, don't go inviting people into my work without my permission, you got it," my dad said with a cold voice. The strange man then started to ask about the expedition and my dad got excited again. "It's unlike anything I've ever heard of in the middle of the Rockies there is a cave that suddenly appeared with a strange glow inside of it and the words chaos inscribed on the was in many ancient languages including old English but the problem is the rocks date back to pre-Christopher Columbus and to around the time of the ancient greeks." my dad said.

"Andrew I would love it if you would allow me to join you on your expedition," the strange man asked. my dad looked hesitant but accepted and then the next day was a cluster. we woke up at around 10 and saw the strange man up packing his things into a backpack that would be way too small to fit them lastly I saw him slide a scythe into the bag but it flickered as it went in and I saw something weird.

I decided to ignore it and then got up and grabbed my stuff waking up my dad while I was at it. about a week later we were next to the entrance of the strange cave. it was definitely out of the ordinary. The symbols engraved into the stone surrounding the entrance. The cold wind blowing out of the cave. The vines that reached the ground and acted as a door. Then I heard a voice it was a woman soft and smooth yet punctual and powerful 'HE will need you to guide him you will be his reminder of the failure that he will need to overcome'.

'That was weird, I heard a voice and I want to comply with its every request, but, there's no way anything could have spoken to us from in there.' I stood there for a moment then I saw the strange man who we had addressed as soul the entire time he stayed with us, walk into the cave and then pull a flashlight out of his pocket and keep walking. As they walked deeper and deeper into the cave they started to notice the material of the walls changing it went from the dark stone to a yellowish brownish granite then they hit a wall that had a question written on it.

'It can't be seen,

can't be felt,

can't be heard and can't be smelt.

It lies behind stars and under hills,

And empty holes it fills.

It comes first and follows after,

ends life and kills laughter.

What is it'?

was inscribed on the wall they all sat there for a second before Soul stepped to the wall and said "The dark" after a second the wall started to retract to reveal a hallway of gold and white marble. The entire room shone like it was built just yesterday and had the sun shining on it from every angle. but neither of those scenarios made any sense. the ruins were extremely old and the room was in a cave so there could be no light. That being said, we pressed on.

as we approached the wall a second question appeared on the wall

'during the day it deprives you,

during the night it can guide you,

both beautiful and powerful,

it takes many forms,

some to calm and soothe,

others to hurt and scorn,

while there may be thousands around you,

you need only one, to guide you,

what is it'

after a second the answer popped into my mind. I stepped forward and said, "it, is light". After a moment another message appeared on the wall and my father read it aloud, "he who is among the wrong-doers and the wronged shall cast his blood into it" my father and I both had confused faces but the man just pressed on. As he went to open the door an arrow shot at his head from no more than half an inch away I was sure he was dead so I closed my eyes and waited to hear the thud of his body hitting the ground 1...2...3...4...snap. I opened my eyes to see the man had caught the arrow before it hit him and then snapped the shaft. After a brief moment, he started forward again. as we walked the feeling inside the hallway became far more ancient and powerful. when we hit the third wall another question popped up

'It is the river,

to unchanging ends,

though it seems to wander,

there are methods to its bends,

perhaps you did not realize,

its duty is to ferry you,

oarless, and without a rudder,

to the end, and bury you,

what is it'

After a moment the man let out an annoyed grunt and cursed someone under his breath. "The answer is fate" he stated agitated he then picked up a stone that was about the size of him and said "get behind me" a second after my father and I were behind him he kicked the door open and I heard arrows whiz past us and a few hit stone.

The man then dropped the stone which made me jump then he continued forwards as we walked we weren't met with another wall instead we came across a temple made of the most beautiful materials imaginable the very temple itself seemed to be made of two warring sides though because the back half of the temple was so terrifying that it would make satan shit himself. As we stepped closer the colours started to morph until it was the brightest white next to the darkest black and in the middle was a woman who was equally both

"When I exist there is peace.

when I exist there is anarchy.

when I don't exist it means all are flawed.

when I don't exist it means all are perfect.

I am solid but you cannot touch me

I am metaphysical but you cannot think of me

I am everything and yet I don't exist

in a world, without me, there is only the center in which you can look out from

what am I"

she said without opening her mouth.

"You are Chaos," the man said, his eyes wide, then bowed. The thing's mouth twitched into a smile

"I am not the greek chaos Perseus Jackson," she said staring at the strange man

"I prefer Percy," he said before realizing that he just corrected a god-esc being

"Very well then Percy, I am the embodiment of chaos itself, not your creator but the physical embodiment of the imbalance that creates balance, chaos as a force," she said still without opening her mouth. Percy and I nodded partially understanding this. "I require a sacrifice for you to have what you most desire if it is deserved" she continued.

"The wronged and the wrong-doers" Percy stepped forward and pulled out a knife before cutting open his hand and draining his blood. "I am the wrong-doers" stated Percy "but who is the wronged," he asked.

"It's probably this little bitch but I don't know," said my father. Percy turned and looked at me.

"He beats you" he stated, I slowly nodded. "well then how about a soul for a soul" he walked up to my father. "I have no need for you but I'm merciful so I'll make a deal, just to teach you the pain that you have caused your daughter I'm going to leave with only your finger, deal," said Percy a coldness growing around him.

My father walked up to Percy, after a second he handed him a dull knife and told him to cut off his left index finger. my father did as instructed then threw it in Percy's direction. the blood gushing from his finger sprayed unnaturally covering the floor all around him to the altar In a split second, Percy was behind my father and after he connected with his punch my father turned to ash. "I said I would leave with only your finger," Percy said.

"Tracy you need to drain some blood now I need someone who has been wronged and you are the one to do this," said Percy handing her a sharp blade.

The woman turned and smiled "your wish has been granted" she said, the elegance of her voice calming but harsh like an order, but given by a mother. "please step through this portal, save the family" she said. Percy slowly walked forwards, "I can be free, I can live my life without the deaths of everyone I failed throughout both wars, my wish to be at peace with everyone that I saved everyone is coming true, thank you," He said a single tear coming out of his impossibly bright eyes. He stepped forward into the portal and disappeared. The woman turned and spoke "you will have to guide him, the stories he told you each night of the hero going on the journey and being betrayed, that was his story, his past. Remember what you have learned, go and guide him, I will help you" she finished with a smile before walking up to me and merging into my body. I walked forwards and then appeared next to a house with a baby in my arms.

Hope you enjoyed the first chapter I'm gonna apologize now for grammatical errors my first language is greek so even though I know English it's still hard.
