Mipha closed her because she knew she was beaten. There was no way she was going to win. She was too exhausted, and there wasn't any help coming. Or if there was, she knew that Link and Princess Zelda were too far away from her, and they wouldn't make it in time to give her a fighting chance.

Mipha had to face it. There wasn't any help coming. She wouldn't see her people, her father, and little Sidon again.

Mipha's heart clenched at the thought of her little brother. She wouldn't see him grow into the wellspring she had hoped for him to be.

Just then, a very familiar trident slammed down on the ground separating her from the Water Blight Ganon. Severing what would have been his killing blow against her.

"No!" she heard a male voice yell out. "I will not let you take her again!"

Mipha opened her eyes. She stared for a moment at the Zora in front of her, and without thinking, she blurted out, "Sidon!?"

Mipha didn't know how or why, but she knew that this was an adult version of her beloved younger brother, Sidon.

When he flashed the winning smile, Mipha's thoughts were confirmed, and she knew, without a doubt, that someone had heard her prayer and answered it to bring her brother from the future to give her a fighting chance. Someone to fight for and to fight with against the encompassing darkness. Someone she loves and respects, and no doubt, he loves her.

Mipha didn't know who or what gave her this chance, but she would gladly take it with someone she knew had come to save her, possibly her future, and possibly the future of Hyrule.

Maybe, she thought, this is exactly what I needed. If they can hold out just long enough for Link and Princess Zelda, then everything will be alright. At least, that's what she hoped for.

Mipha looked at her brother. "Alright, Sidon," she said. "Let's do this together for all of Hyrule." She took her own trident and together they raced at the Water Blight Ganon.
