Been a little while since I've updated this fic and I still don't have a new laptop but I felt bad about keeping people waiting so here's a few thousand words.

Also I have a REALLY fucked up idea that will diverge from cannon quite a bit and I'm gonna make it as sad as I can so uh... sorry in advance? (Not this chapter but later)

Why? Of all the ridiculous things to put her through why did it have to be therapy? After the final exams (which she passed with flying colours because you would be crazy to deny that someone who just beat All Might and several other members of UA faculty without breaking a sweat didn't deserve to pass). Even if she did kinda take it a little far at certain points in the exam.

Apparently success is punished rather than praised here because Spider was sat, looking a little out of place in her casual clothes, in a tastefully decorated office that had a good blend of nature with mundane office furniture. Small trees were dotted around at irregular intervals and there was even a rose bush lining the back wall. The back middle of the room had a large work desk with papers and stationary neatly organised and ready to be used while at centre was a plush sofa and recliner facing opposite each other and a coffee table between them. Did she mention the rest of her class were spending today at the mall shopping for supplies for their summer camp excursion? Well they are and yet here she is wasting time with a shrink.

Spider had taken the sofa while her psychiatrist sat on the recliner with a note book in hand and a binder full of documents on the table in front of them. The woman had green skin and beautiful crimson hair which was accentuated by her distinct lack of formal clothes, instead she wore comfortable green cargo pants with a white t-shirt under red overalls, she also had some dark brown work boots of all things. All in all she looked more like a gardener than a therapist.

The woman gave Spider a warm smile when she looked up from her notes. "Good morning Ms PoisonBlood, my name is Dr Pamela Quinzel."

"Pleasure to meet you, forgive me but I'm not sure how you would like me to address you." Spider responded politely as she leaned back in her seat leading to another batch of note taking while the woman answered.

"However you prefer is fine, is there a way you'd prefer I should address you?" She asked.

"Dr Quinzel I would appreciate it if you called me Spider, it's much quicker than Ms PoisonBlood." Spider told her and was honestly getting a little tired of having to say it over and over again.

"Noted, now we can begin. Tell me a little about yourself." Dr Quinzel now truly started their session.

"Just to be clear, nothing I say leaves this room?" Spider inquired and once confirmed she began her tale. "Great, in that case, Koraav ni hin heyv, hahnu un tinvaak." (Forget your duty, dream of our conversation). Dr Quinzel's eyes glazed over, her expression falling blank as the notebook fell from her grasp. Spider stood picking it up and placing it on the table along with the fallen pen. "Don't take it personally, talking through my issues has rarely ended well for anyone involved, they either go crazy or call me insane. They're right of course but it still hurts." The insane part being evidenced by the fact she's talking to someone in a trance and can't hear her...

Looking at the time the Dovahkiin sees she still has two and a half hours to kill with the psychiatrist before being able to freely leave, unfortunately, by then her class will likely be done shopping. She remembered the previous day when Hagakure suggested they all make a day of it after class, the thought bringing about a small frown.

Aizawa had started class that day saying everyone would get to go to the summer camp despite five of their class failing the physical portion of the exams. There was also some bullshit about leaving one exit open in each exam otherwise the students would never have had a chance at winning which Spider called him out on. Seriously she kicked their ass no two ways about it and if they wanted a rematch to prove it she was more than willing to prove her point.

That was when he slapped her with the therapy. Apparently she had shown she was exceptionally strong and due to her actions in the exam the school required her to undergo a psychiatric evaluation so that they could 'help' her work through any issues she may be having peacefully. Yeah whatever, Aizawa just wanted to waste a few hours of her time in an act of petty revenge. Prick.

Well... foiling revenge plots against her was a specialty of Spider's. And it's not like Dr Quinzel is going anywhere...

Who was she kidding? Spider was already mid way through teleporting out of the room as she thought about joining her classmates. So it came as a slight (okay pretty big) surprise when she found herself inside of what can only be described as a nicely decorated hospital room. Books filled the shelves, a small T.V sat near the far wall from the bed and the desk had a few bottles of medication clearly labelled on it.

She looked over the four occupants and her confusion cleared almost immediately, on the bed and laying on his stomach was a young man with pure white spikey hair, feet frozen in the air from when he'd been presumably kicking them until she'd arrived. Sat next to him on the edge of the bed was young woman, her hair also white but flecks of red made themselves known here and there. An older woman sat by the desk in an elegantly carved oak chair, her own hair similar to the young man's, white as snow. Then came the reason Spider's confusion cleared. Todoroki was sitting opposite the older woman, his head turned to stare at the Dovahkiin same as everyone else.

"I am not where I'm supposed to be." Was all she could say to the three gawking faces of who she assumed to be her classmate's family before turning to Shoto himself. "Krosis, I apologise for interrupting." Spider's arm was already enveloped in purple flames when a hand reached out to stop her.

"Wait." Shoto's hand was on her forearm as he shot out of his own chair, and the flames made themselves scarce. The teen paused for a moment but the determination in his heterochromatic eyes came back in full force. "They were actually just saying that they wanted to meet you." Shoto turned towards his family and released his friend once sure she wouldn't disappear.

Now the Dragonborn looked perplexed again. "You wished to meet me?" Spider asked the three other people in the room who seemed to be getting over their initial shock at her sudden appearance.

The oldest was the first. "Yes, Shoto has told us about his class but you and Midoriya are the two he talks the most about." She said this with a small smile playing on her lips.

'Pretty sure Todoroki and Izuku are close with each other so it's no surprise he talks about him. But why me? I haven't done anything that suspicious recently.' Spider asks herself when the young man perks up and shifts into a cross legged sitting position looking like he's been given a Christmas present early.

"Shoto told us about how you put dad on his ass at the sports festival!" He spoke elatedly.

Spider looked back to Shoto. "The matchstick?" This gained a giggle from the young woman and a snort from the young man. "I remember, he tried to grab Todoroki so I put him in his place."

"She says that like he isn't the number two hero in the country." The young man laughed and got elbowed in the side by the young woman.

"Ignore Natsu, he's just glad someone finally stood up to dad rather than..." Her sentence fell off there, clearly uncomfortable with continuing that line of thought. "Anyway, I'm Fuyumi, that's my brother Natsu and this is our mother Rei." Fuyumi's attitude picked up at the introduction. Natsu and Rei gave little waves when their names were said.

"A pleasure to meet you all, as I'm sure you've been told I'm Spider PoisonBlood and if there's anything I can do to be of assistance don't hesitate to ask." The Dovahkiin said after a short bow.

"Do you do assassinations?" Natsu asked and got another harder elbow from his sister. "I'm kidding obviously." He laughed before leaning towards the Dragonborn with a smirk. "Unless..."

Shoto looked at the interaction with fondness though you would have to have known him a while to pick up on it. "I wouldn't doubt it, she has a weakness for money even though she's wealthy."

The Dragonborn smacked his arm playfully. "Did you have to reveal that particular weakness?"

"It's hard to think you have any after seeing you in action at the Sports Festival and the news stories about the hero killer, he managed to take down so many good pros but from what we've heard you took him out without even trying." Natsu liked praising her it seemed. She won't stop him.

"Allegedly." Spider turned to Shoto and raised an eyebrow. "I can't take credit for anything that was done to the hero killer before I arrived on the scene, lack of evidence and all." She spoke carefully, not wanting to incriminate herself needlessly. "But if you want to hear about an exciting fight, I fought the number one hero and won yesterday."

Shoto chose that moment to interject when his family had basically entered a constant state of shock. "That's right, but aren't you supposed to be in therapy right now?"

"I can name five of our classmates in greater need of therapy than me right now, do you really want me to go through that list." She asked pointedly glaring at the teen.

"I'm sorry, back up a second." Natsu had jumped up onto his feet and got right into Spider's personal space with a thousand watt smile. "Did you seriously go one on one with All Might!"

The Dovahkiin smirked. "I fought All Might one on seven and beat them within twenty minutes, if I'd taken them seriously it wouldn't have even taken that many seconds."

"Is that true?" Fuyumi looked to Shoto who nodded.

"It is. I watched the match with the rest of the class, Spider took several of All Might's punches without receiving a scratch." He confirmed.

Spider's attention switched from Natsu who was practically jumping up and down, to his mother who was looking at the Dovahkiin with something akin to hope that dared not make itself known. 'Why would that be? And while I'm questioning things, why are they in a hospital? Everyone here is perfectly healthy.' The Dragonborn gently moved the excited young man aside and made to sit on the edge of the single bed at the point closest to Rei Todoroki and looked her in the eye. "What do you need?"

Surprise, hope, fear, acceptance. Spider saw each of them flash briefly before the woman even opened her mouth. Once Rei did try to talk she was cut off by Spider's raised hand.

"I meant what I said when I offered my assistance. If it's Endeavour you're worried about then don't be, I've killed people more dangerous than him for so much less." Spider's voice didn't waver and neither did her gaze.

"Less?" Rei Todoroki asked.

"I may not be aware of the exact details but I know you've suffered at his hands." She turned to the others. "All of you have suffered in some way thanks to him, that much is obvious." Spider stood and stepped towards Rei while taking a diamond ring expertly crafted and faintly glowing with golden light and pressing it into her hands. "This ring will protect you even when no one else is there, all you need to do is ask for my help and I'll take care of it."

Rei looked from the ring in her hand to the Dragonborn and back a few times. When she next spoke it was clear she was fighting back tears. "I... could you really help? Without hurting him, he might deserve it but the world needs heroes now more than ever."

"You have a deal, first step is checking you out of this hospital." Spider offered her hand to help the woman up from her seat.

"You can't, dad has this place in his pocket they'd never let her leave." Fuyumi and Natsu both said basically the same thing at the same time and were similarly surprised when their brother let out a small chuckle.

"Never tell her she can't do something." Was all he said with a minute change in his expression showing he was amused.

Spider smiled herself as well. "You're learning." She told him. "A very interesting man once told me 'there is no greater pleasure than doing what people tell you that you can't do' and I agree wi-" Spider cut herself off and her head whipped to the window on the opposite wall. "You have got to be fucking kidding me." Spider growled, her attitude change leaving the others in the room reeling.

"What is it? What's wrong?" Rei asked nervously.

Spider cursed again under her breath. "New plan, start packing anything you wish to take with you and I'll be back in about ten minutes. I have to help a classmate."

This got Shoto's attention. "Who? What happened?"

"Izuku's got himself in trouble, I'll be back soon don't worry yourself too much." Spider reassured him but left in her usual haze of purplish flames before he could stop her or even demand to go with her. No she hadn't missed the look that flashed in his eyes when she mentioned who it was that had gotten themselves in danger but didn't have time to deal with the aftermath bringing Todoroki would end with.

As expected the mall was fairly crowded given the day and it was easy to spot the head of wild green hair amongst the hubbub of people, as well as a suspicious character heading straight for him. The aura was familiar, he was there during the USJ incident but it was difficult to place exactly who, given that her powers were bound at the time, Spider's aura reading was weak at best and it's not as if she was in the best state of mind during her fight with the Nomu.

The man had a black hoodie and made sure the hood cloaked his face from view while the rest of his outfit was fairly plain. Not that it mattered too much since the intent to mess with Izuku was rolling off of his aura in waves.

Spider quickly intercepted him on his way to her friend though it was too late to stop him getting close enough for Izuku not to notice them both. When the aspiring hero turned around at the strange gasp and harshly whispered words he found himself looking at Spider and the weird guy in the hoodie. He wouldn't have been able to say why he thought the man was 'weird' exactly but it just fit his character at first glance.

"Oh hey Spider, I thought you weren't going to be able to join us today." Midoriya said happily as he approached the two. Spider had her arm wrapped around the other person's neck in a very familiar gesture suggesting they were close friends but with the way the man was stiff as a board... well it didn't look like he was comfortable.

"Yes well I'm on a break right now and I ran into an acquaintance I haven't seen in some time." Spider explained without a hint of hesitation. "We were just about to go and get a drink if you would like to join us?"

Midoriya started shaking his head and his hands in front of him. "No, no I don't want to intrude. You can go without me. I have to go and get some gear for camp anyway."

Spider's free hand went into her pocket and pulled out a few notes handing them to Midoriya. "Could you use that to get me something that catches your eye, you can keep the rest."

Midoriya took the money with a small "Sure." Only to practically fall over when he saw how much he'd been given. The poor boy was looking all over for the Dragonborn but she and her 'friend' had disappeared during his crisis.

Shigaraki found himself sitting at a table outside a coffee shop with his favourite drink in front of him while the person he despises almost as much as All Might sat in the seat opposite, nursing a gold coloured liquid which certainly didn't smell like it was meant to be drank before five in the afternoon.

"Why haven't you attacked me? After what I did to you and your class at the USJ you've gotta be angry." The man's voice was scratchy and irritating to listen to.

Spider looked to his jaw and subtly tightened her grip on the cup. "My therapist told me to try a new thing, it's called forgiveness."

He scoffed and all but ignored the answer. "How did you know I would be here? Is it another one of your perks, smurf?" Shigaraki asked with obvious hostility.

"That's the second time I've been called that. Could you explain what it means?" Spider responded and took another drink of her honey imbued wine.

The man scoffed again. "Of course your a noob, it's a gaming term. Just means that you're overpowered and snuck into a low level area acting like a low level character."

Spider hummed 'Kaminari showed me a few of those.' "Well that is accurate, though I can't say I'm fond of the term." She placed her cup down on the table. "Tell me what you wanted with Izuku and I might let you live."

That got a laugh out of him. "You're training to be a hero and you're threatening me? No wonder society is a burning pile of garbage with people like you running around."

"You seem to think I give a damn about being what this world calls a 'hero' joor. Well I don't, I'm here to alleviate my eternal boredom and if that happens to mean helping some aspiring heroes by joining their class then so be it, you may even notice I've befriended them and with my friendship comes a certain degree of protection." She gestured to the table and Shigaraki himself. "That's why we are here."

He was quiet for a minute, glaring at her for any hint of a lie. "You really think you'll be able to stop the League from killing them if we tried?"

Spider leaned across the table, close to his chapped face. "Darling if you even tried to hurt them again, however shitty you think your life has been I can guarantee that I'll make it a thousand times worse." It happened fast. Shigaraki's hand on her face with all five digits touching Spider's exposed flesh, a manic grin on his features... slowly turning into a scowl as Spider removed his hand from her still intact features. "That little trick isn't going to work a second time." Spider retreated and leaned back in her seat. "Now start talking."

"I hate everything." He started.

'Sounds like you should kill yourself and save me the trouble.' Spider thought ruefully.

If Shigaraki noticed the look that flashed in her eyes he didn't comment. "But the hero killer is what pisses me off the most, he upstaged everything I did with the attack on the USJ and the Nomu's I released in Hosu. The media only wanted to report on him and make the League look like a side show he deigned to be a part of. Even dead he's a pain in my ass. I wanted to ask the kid, what did he think the difference is between me and Stain."

"Charisma." Spider answered. "I doubt Izuku would have the same answer, but it's undoubtedly the truth. Stain was able to put his ideology into words people could understand as a twisted view of justice and they like the controversy it creates as they are drawn in by his tenacity and drive, whilst you and your 'League of Villains'..." She let the sentence hang for a moment. "You're like children playing at a game, screaming that the rules aren't fair."

Shigaraki processed the statement, and smiled. "I see. How could I have been so blind? It's like all the dots are connected now, the problem is All Might! He's the reason you and these morons are able to smile so thoughtlessly and live the way they do, it's all because that idiot is smiling too as if there's no one in the whole world he can't save." He stood sharply. "I'm glad we had this chat, I can't thank you enough."

Spider's voice cut through the air like a blade through flesh. "Praal tum." (Sit down). Shigaraki promptly dropped into the chair as if his legs had given out from under him. "These fools are able to smile thoughtlessly because people like me aren't afraid of people like you. The fact is if you were to try and kill them I wouldn't hesitate to rip your skull clean from your spine and crush it in my hands. And if you want to know a little secret, All Might smiles to let the people he protects know that they're safe. I smile to let my enemies know that they aren't." Spider now stood and walked towards Shigaraki placing a hand firmly on his shoulder. "I'll leave you with a warning for both you and your boss. If either you or All for One come after me and my friends again then I'll show you what a monster really looks like."

A deadly chill passed through the villain's very bones from the physical contact, as if his existence depended on his next move. Those words digging into his head until it was all he thought about while they repeated over and over as the hero student stood over him. It really pissed him off.

"Oh, one more thing darling." Spider's voice no longer held such a threatening tone and was instead much softer, more what you would expect to hear from someone talking to a toddler. "About the forgiveness thing I said I was trying."

Shigaraki's expression morphed into an even deeper scowl. 'Just what the fuck does that have to do with any-'

His answer came in the form a fist crashing into his jaw with enough force to shatter his mandible and send the man sprawling from his chair and to the floor. It was amusing to watch him cry out in agony, bleeding on the ground and trying to hold a hand against the injury without accidentally disintegrating himself.

Spider kneeled next Shigaraki and brought her hand to his shoulder again. "I lied." She spoke in a hushed voice before standing again.

Both she and Shigaraki disappeared from sight after being swallowed by purplish flames, one going back to his little hideout and the other to a hospital room, away from the prying eyes of everyone in the mall who had come over to see what all the commotion was about.

A few things happened in the next hour or so, Spider helped Rei Todoroki formally check out of the hospital after her extended residence there and took her home until they could find a suitable place for the matriarch to call her own. That's not to say it was smooth sailing getting her out though since the entire place was basically in Endeavour's pocket and after finally getting out of the building itself (because the 'bend will' shout is a life saver in getting people to do what you want) all three of the Todoroki children had their phone's blow up.

"It's him." Shoto said as he looked down at his phone while it displayed the call I.D of his father.

Spider held out her hand while everyone else looked worried or downright panicked (Natsu). "Do you mind if I answer?" She asked and a devilish smirk ghosted across the teen's features as he handed the device over. Spider accepted the call and was immediately assaulted by the gruff loud voice of the flame 'hero' sooner than she would have liked.

"NATSU! Why has the hospital called saying you three brats have taken your mother out of their care!?" Spider held the phone away from her ear and it was as if he were on speaker. "Return her at once, she is unwell and needs to be kept in a supervised environment." He seemed calmer by that point but his voice was equally as grating.

"I'll be sure to supervise her condition very closely joor." Spider spoke clearly into the phone and it was silent for a long time. "Tell me you didn't die over there, I would simply hate to lose the chance of seeing it in person."

There was a growl on the other end. "When will you stop interfering and leave my family alone?"

Spider couldn't help it. She laughed. "I haven't decided yet. Probably when they ask me to, until then I suggest you refrain from attempting to contact Rei or there might be certain... consequences." Her playful taunting fizzled out at that last word which was delivered with such cold precision her meaning was painfully clear. Ending the call she handed the phone back to a star struck Natsu.

Said Todoroki immediately pocketed his phone and moved to Shoto's front and placed both his hands on his younger brother's shoulders while looking him dead in the eyes. "Marry her." While Shoto looked suitably terrified at the thought, everyone else fell into a fit of giggles over Natsu's demand.

Anyway, once everything was unpacked and Rei had her own room in the apartment the Todoroki children said their goodbye's while Spider stocked the fridge and cupboards with food from her inventory. It's so useful how nothing goes stale or spoils in a pocket dimension where time doesn't exist. She even had time to quickly teleport back to her 'therapy session' and was issued a clean bill of mental health by Dr Quinzel before returning to her kitchen.

Walking back into the living room Spider found Rei looking over one of the display cases that the Dragonborn had set up in her temporary home. In fact it was only thanks to her magical abilities she'd conjured some furniture and a bed for her new roommate to sleep in since the Dovahkiin had no need of one herself and the children's room was a little cramped for a full grown woman.

The floor was carpeted with a soft material no one else would be able to identify as mammoth fur while a saber cat rug lay beside a luxurious recliner and two seated sofa with a handcrafted coffee table sat between them in front of a stone fireplace which was only usable because the apartment was on the top floor as well as a few adjustments to the building itself. Paintings of foreign landscapes and strange creatures were hung up between display cases which held anything from jewellery to weapons. Noticeably there was no television however a new WiFi router made it's home in the far corner of the room to the left of the door.

Spider sat in her plush arm chair and took two cups of the gold drink she had been consuming earlier in the day, placing one on the other side of the table nearest the sofa, keeping the other and using her free hand to light the fireplace with a small flame spell. She didn't fail to notice the way Rei flinched when the movement caught her eye and quickly put it out again with a wave of frost.

"You didn't have to do that." Rei said as she finished her inspection of the intricate silver sword alongside several similar daggers in the nearest display case. The elder Todoroki moved and took her seat on the sofa and picked up the cup placed on the table for her with interest.

"Nonsense, if you don't like fire then we can do without, I only enjoy it because sitting in front of a fireplace like this reminds me of home." Spider replied as she sipped her drink sparingly and was pleasantly delighted when Rei did so too and the other woman's face simply lit up from the taste.

"Where is your home if you don't mind me asking? Shoto told us you weren't from Japan but you've taken to the language well, even the honorifics." Rei smiled as she made herself more comfortable curling up on the sofa. Spider got the feeling she hadn't been able to do this in a long, long time.

"My home is... far away from here and I doubt you've ever heard of it." The Dragonborn's gaze was far off for a moment and a slight smile tugged at her lips until she looked back to Rei. "What are honorifics?"

Rei had to take a moment to gauge if she was joking. "Well, they're the titles we place at the end of someone's name. We use 'san' for acquaintances, 'kun' for male friends, 'Chan' for female friends, 'sama' for close adult figures, 'senpai' for someone older or more experienced in a workplace or school, and there's 'sensei' for teachers, doctors and the like." She put her half empty cup down before speaking again. "But you used them so fluently I thought you knew?"

"I had no idea you were hearing them I'm afraid. My quirk allows me to put a sort of... translation mechanic in the area around me so that it sounds like I'm speaking in your native language, however I'm actually using my own." Spider explained.

"Oh, I understand now." Rei said and picked her cup back up to take another drink before thinking of something that made her smile widely. "I can see why Shoto thinks you're not even from this world, but he always comes up with the strangest ideas."

Spider groaned at that. "Is no one safe from his conspiracy theories?"

That got a laugh out of the white haired woman. "I take it your familiar with them then." It wasn't really a question.

The Dovahkiin nodded. "Whilst he hasn't shared that particular one with me, he does like to keep me updated with a few others. But I think I feel sorry for Izuku- that's Midoriya, since he has to bare the brunt of them."

A soft giggle "Oh my."

"Yes, when he sees one that he thinks I'd find amusing he comes upstairs to show me." Spider said fondly.

"Upstairs? Does Midoriya live in this building too?" Rei asked curiously and leaned forward to show it.

"The Midoriya's lived here first, they were kind enough to let me stay with them on my first few days in Japan. To thank them I bought the building and reduced their rent, they're in the apartment below us." Spider told her gaining yet another surprised expression. Honestly it takes a while for people to get used to her actions.

"You're very kind." Rei breathed out just as Spider was beginning to worry.

She smirked at that. "I can think of a lot of people who would disagree."

Rei sat back up and leaned across the gap between them over the table. "You've known me for less than a day and you've already done more to help me than my own family when Enji first appeared." She looked sad for a second but it was washed away by something else, something more akin to admiration. "I don't care what anyone else thinks, you're a hero to me. Thank you."

Another smile cracked the surface as the Dragonborn leaned back and crossed one leg over the other. "It's easy to kill someone in order to prevent people getting hurt in the future, but it's situations like yours that I like to help with the most." Spider caught the confused look and carried on. "Wherever I go there tends to be at least one person in a position of power who people associate with 'good' and yet they are some of the most vile creatures I have ever met, and I take great pleasure in removing them from the lives of their victims."

"So I'm not the first." She sounded sad.

"Unfortunately not. Though I usually take a far more literal approach to removing the problem I'm still happy to help you in any way I can." Spider reassured the woman who had let a few tears slip at the thought of there being others like her.

Wiping her face Rei quickly finished the last of her drink before talking again. "Maybe Shoto was right, you do seem too different for this world."

'Is there harm in telling her? Probably not but...' Spider thought briefly. "Well if we are to live together, I suppose I should be truthful about that little fact." Rei seemed like she was about say something but stopped herself and decided on something else.

"A dimension hopping quirk. It would be silly if I didn't know quirks already did the impossible." She said smiling.

Spider returned it. "You're close but it's not quite right. I'm from a world where magic is very real, and our gods like to take active roles in the mortal planes of existence. Long story short I became one under some very unique circumstances. I have to fulfil a promise to a friend but until then I'm world jumping. The things I've seen and experienced have helped me unwind, I rediscovered my passion for adventure and I'm much more... lenient than I used to be."

It was silent for a while after that as the information sank in.

"So... you're a god in your world?" Rei inquired after being handed another cup filled with the gold liquid.

Spider nodded. "Officially I'm the god of destruction since I ate the previous one's soul and gained his power. Then there was a whole thing with a daedric prince that I ended up eating too and getting control over his realm of oblivion which is essentially my world's version of hell. In other words I am basically the devil."

"Can you eat anyone's soul, or is it just divine/demonic beings?" She was taking this in stride! And with Midoriya level questions no less.

"It might be best to start from the beginning..."

They'd talked well into the night trading stories with each other. Spider told Rei of her home and her... family, however painful it was to remember. Thankfully he other woman didn't pry why the stories stopped after her son turned four. In return, Rei told Spider of what it was like to raise her own children and about how despite the circumstances there were still happy times that she treasured greatly, like when she would teach Toya how to write poetry, spent hours with Fuyumi reading fairy tales, or when Natsu would come to her in order to play doctor. But the one Spider was most interested in was when Shoto was younger, before he received his scar. When the two would curl up together on the couch, Shoto nestled securely in her lap and they'd watch All Might on T.V while Enji was at work.

Rei said goodnight soon after the two got through the emotional conversation but Spider stayed sitting in her chair. Once the Todoroki matriarch was asleep she lit the fire again and stared into the flames, she wasn't sure how long for but when it started to die out the birds were singing outside and the sun had risen over the horizon.

Another day here was far longer for her wards in oblivion. The tests that had preoccupied the Dovahkiin kept her away from their training but by now they'll be teenagers. A little younger than Izuku who's fifteenth birthday was coming up. She should get him something special. The boy loves his notebooks so perhaps a new one would be a good idea, a cover made of fine leather and an enchantment similar to her own journal where the pages never ended. But she'd also have to make up for all the missed birthdays of her wards too.

Eh, she'll think of something, perhaps a large graduation present after they pass their own final exam.

Thank you for reading.

Funny idea time again.

Spider: *Brings out the alcohol*

Probably Iida: We are much too young to be drinking!

Spider: You know there's a word for people like you.

Iida: Oh, and what's that? Responsible?

Spider: Fucking cowards.
