Hey, sorry its been a little while. Work's been so busy lately and by the time I get home I'm absolutely drained with zero motivation. Still, for anyone that cares, here's a new chapter, sorry if it reads kinda weird, it's been a while since I've written anything.

"I would advise against such action." Durnehviir's rumbling voice responded to the teacher standing to his left. The dragon was currently lying down, flattening a not insignificant portion of the forest surrounding the base camp in doing so. His giant head flat against the dirt in what Aizawa could only assume he found a comfortable position.

"And why is that?" Aizawa asked.

"Because I have known the Dovahkiin a long time Onikmun." (Teacher). The old dov side eyed his shaggy haired companion. "She despises inconveniences. If you were to introduce such punishments, not even her respect will save you from her anger."

Aizawa nodded before a short laugh escaped him. "So you think she respects me huh?"

"Of course." Durnehviir confirmed. "You are still alive after all."

"I suppose you're right but it's not for lack of trying on her part. You have no idea how many times she's almost given everyone around her a heart attack." Aizawa responded. "But I think you're wrong about her hating inconveniences."

Both of them were currently watching the class mostly do their own thing around the base camp. Aizawa had given them the rest of the afternoon / early evening to do as they pleased. Most took the opportunity to just rest after trekking through the forest but others went right back to training. Right now Bakugo and Kirishima were sparring whilst Ashido and Kaminari sat off to side cheering them both on. A perfect example of the split in the class.

"And why is that?" The dragon inquired.

"I've seen Spider 'inconvenience' herself a lot for the students in this class. Hell, once she walked out of school just to check on Kaminari when he called in sick." He revealed which caused the mountain of decaying flesh next to him to bellow a deep rumbling chuckle. "I can't tell if you're laughing at me or that maybe she's changed."

Durnehviir calmed himself and looked to the subject of their conversation. Spider was currently training with the young man he believed she called Izuku. It was startling at first, how similar he looked to her lost child. Even after so many millennia, a mother always remembers. Yet she denies the claim.

"I think you misunderstand what she sees as an inconvenience." He replied. "You will find no one with a more fierce desire to protect her loved ones, and when they are hurt... she would crawl through the depths of oblivion to find those responsible."

"Hmm." Aizawa almost huffed. "I found that out the hard way on her first day. I was sure she'd kill me for suggesting Midoriya wasn't cut out for hero work."

The dragon looked to his companion. "She isn't quite so violent any more. As you humans like to say, her bark is becoming worse than her bite."

"Clearly you didn't see the bodies of the people she killed at the USJ."

"Did they provoke her?"

"They tried to kill her." The teacher responded.

"Then it seems they were killed for their own foolish endeavour." Durnehviir huffed.

Aizawa's eyes grew hard and a hand balled into a fist. "They were still people. She wasn't the one that had to return broken corpses to their next of kin and ask them to keep quiet about it."

"The Dovahkiin would have restored their bodies if you had asked." He shifted to dislodge a rock digging into his exposed rib. "She is not without sympathy."

"And that makes it better? They were villains true but they could have been rehabilitated and saved. They didn't deserve to die."

The sound of idle chat and exertion from the students pervaded the silence between them. Neither completely sure how to proceed until Durnehviir broke the silence.

"Perhaps you are right, it is honourable to spare your enemy even if they would not have done the same to you."

"So why won't she listen when we try and teach it her?" Aizawa's frustrated growl caught the attention of those closest to them but none were close enough to hear what he said and quickly looked away when he turned his glare on them.

"Because she has already learned and discarded the lesson Onikmun." The dragon replied causing Aizawa to turn to him. "What need is there for mercy when brutality exists to stop the enemy trying again?"

"And what about when the villains are just like her? Ready to strike back harder and stronger than the last?" Aizawa retorted.

Durnehviir huffed, almost like he was amused. "Then I feel nothing but pity for them." The man beside him had time to look confused before the dragon continued. "It is often said that the one who has lost everything is the most dangerous, but there is another far more deadly creature. One who has first lost everything they care for and managed to claw it all back through grit and shear determination. What do you suppose such a person would do to the people who tried to take what they love from them a second time?"

Aizawa paused his thoughts on the people Spider had killed at the USJ and instead looked to the girl herself. Nezu and the staff at UA have long suspected she is more than she seems but have never had the proof. Now that he's heard this though, the teacher wonders just how much his student had been through until this point.

"She is not so complex as she wishes to be seen Onikmun. The Dovahkiin will often pick the simplest, fastest and most effective solution to a problem. And the easiest way to get humans to stop attacking what you love, is to show them nothing but pain and death await them should they try."

"... You still didn't answer my question. What about the ones who aren't afraid and try anyway."

The old dov blinked as if the answer were obvious. "They are the ones she uses to send the message."

"Hey so uh, I know you've helped me train before but that was after I asked you to." Izuku said after getting into position a few paces opposite his friend.

"I get the feeling that you're working up to a question mal hun." Spider's voice had a humorous lilt to it.

Izuku blushed a little but quickly shook it off as he got himself into a defensive position. "What I mean is this is the first time you've come to me so that we can train. Before, you left it up to myself and All Might unless I asked."

The Dovahkiin nodded as she too readied herself. "And I apologise for that. I have spent some time adjusting to this new setting and I've been a terrible friend because of it." She could see the adorable confusion on her friend's face. "I should have been taking your desire to be a hero as seriously as you are, so please allow me to make up for it now."

Izuku's features flashed with an emotion so warm she couldn't quite describe it before the look morphed into a determined nod in of his own as he activated full cowling. "Thank you, I'll give it my all!"

"Good, and perhaps once we're done we can show the little one a thing or two?" Spider's comment was directed at Kota who was sat on a fallen log just a few meters away. The boy was clearly eying the dragon across the clearing with interest but his attention was dragged away when Spider looked to him.

He immediately scowled and turned his head. "Why would I want to learn how to be a dumb hero wannabe?"

"Hmph, fair enough." Spider's focus returned to Midoriya. "Prepare to get knocked on your ass a lot today." Spider stepped forward, hand outstretched and reaching for Midoriya's throat.

The teen immediately jumped, attempting to flip right over the attack. Half way in the air he saw Spider's movement change directions as he other hand shot out to grab the collar of his clothes. Just like he knew she would.

Izuku quickly grabbed the Dovahkiin's arm and used his momentum to swing from the appendage and deliver a brutal kick to Spider's cranium before bouncing away to a safe-ish distance.

Spider turned to face him and ran a glowing gold hand through her hair to shake out some of the dirt Izuku had ever so politely introduced her to., and dispel the ringing in her ears That little bastard perfectly predicted exactly what she was going to do and scored a free hit out it, and had that been anyone else... "It would have knocked me out cold." She whispered with something akin to pride.

"Sorry, I didn't quite catch that." Midoriya almost sang, something that dare she say came dangerously close to mocking.

Her eyes narrowed. "Have I ever told you I hate you?"

"You could start but I wouldn't believe you." Izuku replied with a bright smile.

"Hmph." Spider huffed. "Alright then, lets play."

Midoriya's eyes widened when Spider rushed towards him faster than he'd thought she could move whilst in a weak state but his reflexes had him dive away by a rabbit's heartbeat. He almost felt the Dragonborn's skin on his ribs as the punch sailed a cut above him.

Spider didn't waver however and continued towards her target, throwing out jabs and just when it looked like Izuku was slipping, trying for another grab only for the scoundrel to slip away again

By this point the duo had gathered something of a crowd. Seven students in all hanging out on the side-lines and cheering for them. It consisted of Uraraka, Iida, Kaminari, Sero, Mina, Asui, and even Shinso.

Ok maybe not all of them were cheering but Asui and Shinso were definitely watching at least.

"WOO! Come on Deku, give it your best shot!" Uraraka shouted supportively whilst Iida smiled and added a few of his own cheers.

Kaminari piped up alongside them. "Hey Spider, you really gonna let Midoriya do you like that?!"

"YEAH, GET IT GIRL!" Mina cried out with him as Sero laughed with his two fellow idiots.

Both combatants smiled at the other students and continued their game of cat and mouse, trading hits and kicking up dirt like there was no tomorrow. Meanwhile the teacher and the dragon continued to watch after being joined by a third.

"She's not bad, but I thought she'd be better at hand to hand given her other skills." Vlad King stated as he judged the technique and overall performance the students were giving. His own brats were spending their own free time either inside the base camp setting up their rooms or out exploring the forest under the watch of the Wild Wild Pussy Cats, so naturally he had to investigate the talk of a real life dragon that their resident powerhouse had conjured. He was not disappointed.

"Geh." Durnehviir rumbled. "But you forget that her true ability lies in swordsmanship and brute force. The Dovahkiin prefers to be slow and precise."

Vlad hummed but didn't say anything else.

"You're both missing the obvious." Aizawa told them as he hid the lower half of his face in the capture scarf. "Aside from taking that hit at the start, she hasn't used her quirk yet."

Back in the action, Midoriya was attempting a blitz attack. His reason being that Spider was slower than she was during her fight with the nomu back at the USJ and the only explanation was that she didn't perceive him as a threat yet, in other words he had one shot to beat her before she got serious.

Multiple rapid fire strikes came in hard and fast, aimed at all the places Spider was trying to hit him. Two shots to the left kidney before twisting into a kick behind her knee. Once she was off balance Izuku jumped into a spinning heel kick that Spider ducked under but sacrificed her balance in the process.

Just what Izuku was counting on as Spider staggered forward right as he'd landed and used his momentum to drive home a nasty sucker punch to the Dragonborn's unprotected stomach. It was met with cheers and sympathetic oohs from the gathered students.

Izuku hopped back a few feet as Spider dropped to her hands and knees, retching even after the air had been harshly expelled from her lungs making breathing nigh impossible for a few moments. And that's all it would have took. Those few precious moments where a mighty villain is brought low by the smiling hero, are always the perfect time to take them out permanently.

Through blurry vision, Spider raised her head enough to Izuku returning to a casual stance.

"Do you give up?" He asked in a tone mixed with disbelief and just a hint of pride.

'It's a shame you haven't learned that yet.' Spider's hand shot out as it was enveloped in a greenish hue which then appeared on Izuku's leg before she pulled the teen right off his feet. Before he'd even hit the floor Izuku saw Spider above looming above him then she drove a blade made of purplish light into the dirt right between his neck and shoulder.

Spider panted heavily as she raised her off hand which burned with an unreleased flame spell. One move and he was toast.

After a few tense seconds she dropped both spells and they disappeared as fast as they were created, melting away in the late afternoon sun.

Rising to a stand, Spider offered her hand to Izuku and he took it gladly to help him get up. "That was pretty good. Only one mistake this time." She smiled to him, positively beaming with pride.

"Right at the end too huh?" Midoriya's hand went to the back of his neck as he tried to stave off the slight embarrassment of losing.

The Dovahkiin nodded. "Remember, never let your guard down against an opponent who hasn't given up. Always put them down hard and fast when they're as vulnerable as you made me"

Izuku chuckled. "Right, I'll try to keep that in mind for next time."

His blood instantly ran cold when he heard his friend echo that chuckle in a much more sinister fashion as she took a few steps away from him and started rotating her shoulder to loosen it up. "What ever do you mean darling? We're only on round two."

"HUH!?"

Some time had passed and eventually it was the moment everyone had been waiting for. Bath time.

Actually, perhaps not everyone was quite so excited to be bathing in a hot spring. On the boys side, they were oblivious to their classmate skipping the experience but the girls took notice that they were missing a certain blonde prodigy.

"Where do you think she is?" Uraraka asked. They were all enjoying a relaxing soak but it didn't feel quite complete without everyone present.

"She's probably off writing in that journal or talking to her cool dead dragon thing." Mina reasoned. "Don't worry about it, if she wanted to be here she knows where it is."

"I guess, but don't you think we should try to include her a little more?" Uraraka responded.

Momo nodded in agreement. "I suppose you're right, she does tend to stray from group activities-"

"Oh come on!" Jiro interrupted. "It's like all anyone talks about it what Spider's doing, we can get through one conversation without her can't we?"

"That's not what I... alright then," Uraraka put a finger to her chin. "What do you guys want to talk about?"

Toru instantly jumped up causing a splash and more than a few squeaks of surprise. "I know! I know! We've got a whole week at this summer camp and I've been dying to ask all of you if you would consider playing a game."

"What kind of game?" Tsu inquired

"Oh you know... just a little truth game to get to know each other better." Toru giggled in anticipation.

Jiro looked down and away, slightly nervous about what might be asked whilst Mina and Uraraka readily agreed alongside Tsu who for the most part just went along with the idea.

"Okay, okay me first then it goes around clock wise." Toru said, taking charge of the game. "Hmm... Ashido."

"Give me your best shot!" A pink fist pumped the air with determination.

"What's your most prized possession?"

"That's easy." Mina smiled wide. "I have the cutest pink lipstick at home which is signed by the hero fashion icon Uwabami!"

"Woah, that's so cool! I bet you had to kill to get something like that!" Toru almost slipped from how fast she'd jumped at the new information.

Momo on the other hand looked like she wanted to move on. Fast. "Is it my turn now?" She asked.

"Oh, yeah. Sorry I got a little excited there."

"No problem. "Momo's composure never cracked, even sat naked in front of several other girls she only really knew from school and the occasional study group. "Tsu, what's your family like?"

"My family?" Tsu asked and on Momo's nod thought for a second. "My parents work a lot so that me and my siblings can live comfortably, being the oldest I took care of my siblings when they were away. My brother Samidare is ten, and my sister Satsuki is six."

"They must really look up to you if you took care of them a lot growing up." Uraraka commented.

"Yeah, I'll bet they made you 'best big sister ever' cards and tons of other cute things too right!" Mina stated confidently.

Tsu smiled at that. "They sometimes made me drawings of us all playing or of me cooking dinner when mom and dad had to work so I know they appreciated it. They are cute when they want to be."

This brought a smile and a generally positive attitude to the group. "Guess I'm next," Uraraka thought carefully before picking her target. "Jiro, what kind of hero do you want to be after we graduate?" A safe topic, not too personal.

"I'll probably be a rescue hero like Thirteen, I can use my quirk to find people trapped in buildings or hidden under rubble. And I could even go into a few villain raids since I'll be able to tell whoever I'm working with where the villains are hiding and if there are any hostages just like on my internship." Jiro answered honestly and without much hesitation, you could tell she really wanted to be able to go out and help people.

"That's so neat and selfless, I only really wanted to be seen for once." Toru confessed.

"Hey, don't worry girl, we see you." Mina smiled across the gap at her friend which she assumed got a smile back but... yeah, yeah lets go with that. "Anyway it's my turn! I pick... Momo!" Mina pointed right at the girl. "What is the most expensive thing you've ever broken?"

Momo turned beet red and looked away. "Well..." After a few moments and a little encouragement from the other girls she began the story. "When I was nine, my parents took me to a party which was a fund raiser for charity. I ended up needing the bathroom and when I was on my way back I tripped into a jewellery encrusted vase which fell and cracked a three hundred and fifteen million yen emerald when it hit the floor." (Little over £2 million)

To say the other girls were stunned is an understatement. So shocked by that number, they just sat there. Silent.

"I replaced it of course!" Momo quickly added. "I used my quirk to make another one and gave it to the owners, my parents were furious but when they saw I was trying to make it right they arranged to have the new emerald fitted into the vase."

"That's more money than I'll see in three lifetimes." Jiro finally broke the silence. That's when the giggling started.

"And our YaoMomo went and broke it!" Mina struggled to get out between fits of laughter which only made it worse for the others who were trying not to double over and drown from laughing.

"I can't believe it, I was expecting a bannister or a cabinet but a whole jewel?!" Uraraka had to wipe a tear from her eye.

"It was an accident." Momo's blush darkened from embarrassment but Toru quickly leaned into her and caught the other teen in a sideways hug.

"You know we don't mean anything bad by it right, besides you replaced the emerald so no harm done." The bubbly cheer in Hagakure's voice quickly dispelled the discomfort Momo had felt moments prior.

Momo smiled at the gesture. "Who's next?"

Jiro spoke up. "That'd be me, uhm, Hagakure. What's the weirdest thing you've seen when no one knew you were there?"

"Ooh, this is gonna be juicy!" Mina clapped.

"I have the perfect story." She confirmed. "So I was in UA after school because I forgot my English paper in my locker when I hear a strange rattling, then out of nowhere, the entire block of lockers on my right pushes out and moved to the side. Principal Nezu strolled right out of a secret tunnel and walked right past me with his nose buried in some papers!"

"NO WAY, THE PRINCIPLE HAS SECRET TUNNELS!?" Uraraka exclaimed.

"THAT'S SO WEIRD!" Mina joined.

"And a little creepy." Jiro added.

"Do you think he did it to mess with you?" Tsu asked.

Toru seemed to ponder for a minute. "Now that you mention it, I was wearing clothes so he might have known I was there but he didn't even look at me!"

"Guess we'll never know. People say that Principal Nezu is like a mystery wrapped in an enigma." Uraraka commented.

Mina groaned. "Yeah, a sadistic enigma. Do you know how unfair that test against him was? Me and Kaminari never stood a chance!"

Momo giggled. "It might be best to move on before Nezu drives us crazy when he's not even here."

There was general agreement when the others looked to Tsu for her turn. "Ochaco, after graduation, will you get a degree in construction to help with your parents company?"

Uraraka looked surprised by the question but it was a pleasant feeling to know that Tsu had listened when she talked about her family. "I hadn't really thought about it but that's a great Idea Tsuyu, I should totally do that!"

The frog girl smiled at her friend. "I told you, call me Tsu, ribbit."

The six girls continued their game and laughed over the silly stories, but seemed to bond over the genuine discussions that stemmed from their answers. It seemed that they were growing closer as a class and as friends. And that's what summer camp was really about.

Inside the main building, Spider was busy with something less than light-hearted bonding. Rather than waste time in the hot spring, she decided to put the time that all of her classmates would be distracted to use by questioning the Pussycats about their young ward.

She did not like the answer.

It had started as a simple question. "Might I ask why Kota appears to have an aversion to heroes? I would have thought that living with a team of them would make him a bigger fan."

Mandalay was sitting in the office area whilst her teammates took care of class B and general security around the camp. "I guess you don't need to be too observant to see that Kota doesn't like heroes all that much." The woman's voice drooped, her eyes lost a little light as she appeared to reflect on a sad memory when the topic was brought up. "There are many in our society that don't approve of us, but I suppose if he'd had a normal childhood he might have grown up to admire heroes as much as your green friend out there."

'I doubt that.' The Dovahkiin thought to herself. "What happened?"

"My cousins, they... they were heroes too." Mandalay's expression grew even more grim. They helped so many people but one day when they were out on patrol they answered a call that was too much for them to handle. A villain murdered them and escaped when others finally arrived on the scene. They died protecting civilians which is probably the most respectable way for a hero to die but-" She cut herself off, eyes with unshed tears looked right into Spider's. "How do you even begin to tell a kid that his parents dies noble deaths? They were his whole world but to Kota they'd abandoned him while everyone praised what they did as a good thing."

Spider's hands formed into fists. Another family ripped apart by the actions of one villain. So similar to her own story yet from another perspective.

"Honestly, he doesn't seem to like us that much either." Mandalay continued. "Heroes just don't make any sense to Kota, after all, if his parents hadn't been heroes then they would still be here."

The Dragonborn had but one thing to say. "Their name."

Mandalay seemed confused before understanding dawned on her. "He's been given the villain name Muscular, after his quirk. He's able to create muscle tissue and increase his strength to horrific levels. One look at his victims will show you that."

"Thank you." Spider's voice was stiff, her fists tightened as she turned and walked away towards the room she and the other 1A girls were given to stay in. An intrinsic hate had blossomed inside of her for this villain, for him to have taken two loving parents who only wished to help people, away from a child, leaving him alone and scared... it hit close to home.

So she walked. A new name added to her list.
