Lafan's Demise! Akira's Fall!

Lafan ducked under another of Naruto's punches only to feel another one connect with his side. It was strange to him. The teen did not fight this well during their first encounter, heck he didn't fight near this level. While Lafan had his suspicions of the two teens holding back against him, for them to hide his much skill was nothing short of impossible. No one could control their strength that well, not even a master.

However, he had never met a shinobi before. Naruto was holding back severly in their fight; he didn't even begin to go full power against Lafan. He now regretted that decision, but it was not too late to fix that mistake. He would just have to fix it now, with the utmost amount of positivity that Lafan was dead, no questions asked.

Lafan charged, swinging his gauntlets out in front of him, however Naruto just bobbed and weaved backwards, easily avoiding all of the strikes.

"Is that the best you've got," Naruto goaded. The goad seemed to have worked as Lafan charged shouting, "I'LL KILL YOU!" very loud. Naruto however just smirked at this and formed a Rasengan in both hands. The spiralling orbs began to enlarge to the point of being monstrousities, before ending. They were huge, easily comparable to some of the smaller buildings in size. However, the impressive thing about them was not only their size, but also their intimidation factor. After all, seeing your opponent form two spiralling orbs that grinded you into a paste that were the size of buildings was not a comforting sight. Even the bravest of men would shatter at it. Of course, men were different from mages and shinobi, however even some shinobi, genin and some chunin, would shatter at looking at that.

"Um," Lafan began to say, however Naruto just smirked before putting his two hands in front of him. The orbs merged, doubling in size, forming one gigantic Rasengan which Naruto was fully prepared to unleash upon his enemy with all its fury, however something made him pause. The fact that Lafan had potential; he could be sculpted into an amazing fighter, especially with the diversity his magic gave him made Naruto want to train him, to raise him to a high enough level where he would be able to pose a threat to Naruto. However, the fact was that few people on Earthland were at his level yet, and by the time Lafan reached his level Naruto would be to old to fight back, so did it truly matter? Naruto jumped into the air and smiled down at Lafan.

"Sorry Lafan. You have lots of potential I'll give you that, but sometimes you just fall to the power of others."

"I REFUSE!" Lafan roared swinging his fist upwards to meet the attack. He forgot to use a spell.

Naruto looked at the fist with a look of shock on his face. Unless Lafan forgot, as Naruto did not know he did, what Lafan was suggesting was absurd. To take on the fully burnt of Naruto's attack without even using a spell? That was impossible, not even Makarov or Gildarts would want to do that. Heck, even Madara Uchiha and Sasuke wouldn't want to do that. Still, Naruto accepted the foolhardy challenge and swung his orb down.

"TAKE THIS! ENERGY-MAKE: BAZOOKA RASENGAN!"

"DIE!"

The attack carved through Lafan's fist and gauntlet, immediately shredding them to pieces, however Lafan had no time to scream as almost a millisecond afterwards the orb smashed through his skull and pulversized his body, causing cement to be sent flying everywhere. The Bazooka Rasengan turned blood red from the amount of blood pouring around the ground and into it.

As the smoke cleared Naruto could be seen standing in a crator that was exceedingly wide and deep, unbelievably deep. Naruto looked down at the one thing that hadn't been blown away or destroyed by his Bazooka Rasengan. It was one of Lafan's gauntlets. It must have not been hit by the attack as the other gauntlet was ripped to looked at the gauntlet with pity.

"Foolhardy," Naruto said before crushing the gauntlet with his foot, sending metal flying around his feet.

Natsu dodged a high speed punch from Akira before whipping around on his hands. His feet swung fast in the air, sending out large tendrils of flame as they did so.

"Fire Dragon's Claw!"

Akira dodged the strike easily, before jumping towards Natsu again. He knew that his speed would allow him to break through that decent defense, however he was not counting on Gray interfering, not that it mattered.

"Ice-Make: Hammer!"

A giant hammer fell from the sky towards Akira's next landing spot, also known as right towards Natsu. Akira just smirked and stopped his charge, barely out of the hammer's range. He wasn't surprised when the hammer began to melt as it came close to the fire, as he doubted Gray hadn't seen him move and must have stopped sending magic into it so it didn't crush Natsu. However, when he saw Gray jump off of the ice hammer and attempt to cut his arm off with a slash of his sword he was surprised, and barely avoided the exceedingly crippling blow.

Akira smirked at Gray, thinking he had avoided the strike, however once his overcoat fell off and his shirt had a cut where Gray's attack would have pierced had he hit his mark Akira's smirk faded. Gray had hit him, quite badly. Akira frowned at that. He would have liked to blame it on the fact that he was injured, but he knew that wasn't it. Even if he was at top condition he wouldn't have avoided that attack. Sure he wouldn't have lost his overcoat, and nor would he have gotten his shirt cut, but his clothing would have been hit.

"Surprised," Gray goaded.

Akira growled and disappeared, reappearing behind Gray with his fist cocked back.

"Not quite. Booming King!"

"Ice-Make: Dummy!"

"Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!"

Gray jumped above the two strikes, throwing down an ice-made dummy just in time. As Akira's attack reached the dummy and shattered it before making contact with Natsu's fist he lost power in his spell. Gray smiled as he thought of his plan. Akira would lose more magic from this combination, even if he did somehow manage to beat Natsu in a clash of strength. As the two attacks connected, throwing Gray from the air in an explosion of fire, electricity, and vibrations he smirked. Natsu was winning, slowly but surely pushing Akira back.

Akira smiled at that before slamming his knee into Natsu's side, effectively knocking him off balance and stopping his attack. As Natsu stumbled Akira prepared another Booming King.

"You lost Natsu," Akira said.

"No way," Natsu said.

"Too late."

Akira slammed the attack into Natsu, sending him flying into Gray. Gray caught Natsu as they both flew backwards and into a wall. The wall nearly crumbled on top of them, however Gray formed a quick ice dome, protecting them both from the additional damage of rocks. His plan hadn't worked. While it still costed Akira even more magic than they intended Natsu had taken damage. With Akira simply overpowering Natsu he would only feel a slight sting on his fist, nothing more, nothing less. However, as Akira had changed it up it ended up being a near equal trade, as Gray could tell you firsthand Akira's attacks hurt.

"Just give up," Akira said. "You can't beat me, you never could. You don't stand a chance. Even combined I'm above both of your levels. It's not pathetic nor is it shameful to give up. In fact, in some cases it can be considered wise. This is one of those situations."

"No," Natsu growled.

"What?"

"You heard me. Why should we give up, WHEN WE HAVEN'T EVEN BEGUN TO FIGHT YET!?"

Akira looked at Natsu's insane statement. How could they not have started to fight yet? It was utterly absurd. He had seen the limits of their power; he knew they couldn't beat him, no matter how hard they tried.

"Lies," Akira hissed, however Gray smiled, now beside him.

"Not quite," Gray said and punched Akira with an ice-gauntlet. That gauntlet shattered before Gray made a familiar handseal.

'Cut off mobility first!"

"Ice-Make: Lance!"

Akira dodged the attack by jumping over it; however that was what Gray wanted.

"Ice-Make: Prison!"

Gray hollered as he jumped above Akira. He slammed his hands down onto Akira's shoulders, burning his hands and creating a small ice prison to surround Akira. Gray blew on his hands while he cringed. They hurt badly, and he probably wouldn't be able to use magic much longer. He had to finish this soon. He looked over at Natsu.

"NOW NATSU!"

"Fire Dragon's-"

"Rapid King!"

Akira pounded several punches into the ice made bars, shattering the prison. He then sped towards Natsu, his feet moving at speeds that were nearly invisible to the dragon slayer. He cocked his hand backwards before sending it thundering forward, nearly hitting Natsu in the face. The attack grazed Natsu's hair as he tilted his head to the side.

"I've finally adapted to your speed," Natsu said. "Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!"

He slammed his fiery fist into Akira's face before charging after the boy who was just sent flying, shouting a cry of, "Fire Dragon's Sword Horn!" The attack slammed into Akira's gut, sending him flying into a nearby building, which nearly collapsed on top of him.

However, Akira disappeared the second the combinations stopped, appearing behind Natsu with his leg raised.

"Rapid King!"

"Ice-Make: Arrows!"

Giant ice-made arrows were sent flying towards the duo as Akira's leg came down. Some slammed into Akira's leg and some would have hit Natsu had he not ducked under the attack. Akira hollered out in pain as Natsu gathered magic into his lungs, preparing to unleash an earth-shattering blast.

"Any last moves," Natsu asked.

"Just one," Akira said.

Naruto looked at Akira curiously and even more curiously when he placed one hand on the ground.

"Pressure Pulse!"

Vibrations were sent through the ground, because of the high amount of pressure Akira had poured into it, at impossible speeds, knocking Natsu off balance and sending his attack into the sky, however just because Natsu was delayed did not mean Gray was.

"Ice-Make: Knuckle!" Gray roared.

Gray slammed his hands on the now-still ground. The five ice-made fists slammed up from underneath Akira, sending him flying into the air. Gray smiled at his perfect plan. The knuckles had formed a ramp, directly at Akira who was still in midair. He couldn't use that damned speed in midair, and even if he could Gray doubted he would because of the damage in his leg. It could quite possibly shred his leg to pieces. Then again, so would his attack.

"Ice-Make: Saucer!"

The ice-made saucer flew towards Akira, slicing up the ice-made fists and slamming into Akira's shoulder. Akira hollered in pain before falling to the ground, where Natsu was waiting.

"Fire Dragon's Roar!" Natsu hollred from under Akira. The fire attack slammed Akira upwards and back into the saucer, causing the teen to cry out in utter agony.

Natsu stood up just as Gray walked over to him. In front of them lay a defeated and bloody Akira.

Sasuke dodged another wood pillar to the side of him before looking at Xeos.

'Binding Death,' Sasuke thought as he locked eyes with Xeos.

Xeos was shocked as a giant tree appeared from behind him and warpped him up in its branches.

'No matter,' he thought. 'After all, I can control wood with my Wood-Make Magic. There's no need to be worried over something that cannot harm me in the slightest way. Not even trees dare attack me.'

Xeos tried to bend the tree branches binding him, however when he found he could not he began to panic.

'What is going on!?' he shouted inside of his mind.

His answers were soon revealed as Sasuke appeared from the tree, a kunai in hand.

"An illusion," Xeos said.

Sasuke smirked. "It's to late now. This is one of my modified illusions. I've improved upon Illusion Magic. I gurantee that it's the best in the land."

"Please," Xeos said. "Ivan could beat you any day of the week," he said before trying to reach into his pocket. However, when his hand reached nothing but solid rock he looked down, to see his hands were enveloped by the ground.

"What the hell!?"

"I told you, mines are more advanced, than anyone's," Sasuke said.

The kunai lashed out into a neck.

Hey guys it's Kuma Akuma. Bored, as per usual. But I don't wanna sleep. What about you? Sigh, I no longer have interesting things to say anymore...except read Raijin...otherwise boring. Yeah. I hope you guys are having a good day. Mines isn't. By the way, this arc is NOT OVER! Xeos may or may nor be alive, and Akira may or may not be able to fight again. It will be ending next chapter though. Chapter after that is the first time skip, possibly only time-skip hint hint.
