Because of the response I received on part 1, I have been convinced to write more for this. I think I would be pretty mean if I just left it on a cliffhanger! I need to fix the fish (and Virgil too)
"I don't know, Scott. He just came out of that building and then started attacking me." Virgil winced as he was reminded of the force behind the punch that hit his nose. He was going to need an icepack later. "I have no idea what's gotten into him." Virgil twisted in his chair to look over at the brother in question. "Gordon, stop that!"
Gordon was propped up against the wall at the back of TB2's cockpit. Virgil had used some small cables that he found in Two's module to tie up Gordon's wrists and ankles. He had hoped that his brother would come to his senses when he woke up, but it seemed that wasn't the case as he was currently trying to use his teeth to untie the cable from his wrists.
Gordon ignored Virgil's words, and kept trying to get out of the ties like his life depended on it.
"Just bring him back home, Virgil. Maybe we can work out what's wrong with him here," Scott said through the comm, bringing Virgil's attention back to him. Virgil gave one last look at his little brother, before he spun back around in his seat with a sigh.
"FAB."
He turned to the controls in front of him, and with practiced ease started up his ship. As he did so, he wondered how what was supposed to be a simple rescue turned into something like⦠this. He really had no idea what was up with his brother, but he hoped that once they made it back home they could find some answers.
That was if they made it back home.
Virgil thought he had tied his brother up tightly, but when TB2 started to lift into the air, there were hands suddenly on his, trying to steer the ship away.
"Gordon!" Virgil yelled in surprise as his brother came out of nowhere. He was so quiet that Virgil just assumed he was still tied up.
Gordon tried to grasp at the controls, but Virgil wouldn't let him, and attempted to push his brother away before he did something dangerous. But Gordon didn't stop, and with Virgil too distracted with trying to keep him away from the controls, he wasn't watching where they were flying.
It was too late when Virgil realised the ship was crashing to the ground. He didn't have time to act before everything went black.
