A Swordswoman's Honor

Jura frowned as he saw Ari come out onto the field, practically radiating confidence. There was nothing wrong with confidence, however overconfidence was a problem. The girl was acting like she already had the match in the bag, even though she was fighting a Wizard Saint. While true some none Wizard Saint mages could beat a Wizard Saint, for example Gildarts Clive, or Laxus Dreyar, it was very uncommon. At least now it was. Before Wizard Saints used to only be picked for their magic, but after the Magic Council had a war and gave Wizard Saints the position of the Guild Generals in war they had removed all Wizard Saints and started adding in people who knew how to use their magic to the best of their ability instead of people whose magic was rare.

Jura was determined to wipe the smug look off her face, no matter what. He was fine with people being confident, but disrespect was something he would not accept.

Jura waited patiently as the girl continued to show off, wasting her energy. Jura had no qualms with it. It was prove to be an even more disgraceful loss to her. Once she lost she would realize you could feel confident, but showing off and being overconfident were weaknesses.

Finally, Ari stopped bragging and turned to face Jura. Her eyes widened. She thought she was facing Gajeel, not Jura.

'Oh screw me,' Ari thought as she noticed his slightly irritated face.

"Are you done, because I'm getting bored?"

Ari tensed, not even wasting the energy people used to blush. She dropped down into a fighting stance. Jura smiled. Now that he could respect. He began to gather up his magic.

"Round two of Bracket A: Match two: Jura Neekis versus Ari…begin!" the referee called, running away so he would not get caught in the crossfire.

Ari started off the match, determined to get in a good blow on the Wizard Saint. She would need a preemptive strike to win this. Her left arm began to rotate, increasing the power behind it with every rotation. Jura frowned noticing this. If he let her get off to many rotations the power behind the punch would be enough to shatter his iron rocks. He quickly raised a wall beneath his feet, raising him high into the ground, hoping that Ari couldn't manage to readjust where she was attacking. He was lucky as Ari had no choice but to slam her fist through the rock, however the power behind her punch shattered it. As Jura fell he clasped his hands together, preparing another spell, only to come face-to-face with Ari. His eyes widened as he realized how she had caught up to him so fast.

She had rotated her legs for a quick turn.

She slammed a punch directly into his face, which sent him skidding backwards, a harsh burn on his face thanks to her arm rotating.

He glared at her with a smile on his face. "Impressive. Let's see you continue."

Ari smirked, rotating both of her legs as she ran, which somehow increased her speed. She than began to rotate her arms, lashing out with a barrage of punches. However, Jura avoided the flurry, weaving through them as even though they were powerful they were quite slow. However he was on the back foot. He couldn't start a spell as all of his focus was on dodging her blows. While they weren't enough to take him out, the more they rotated the more power they earned behind them. Taking the blow the earliest that he could would have been the better option, yet he had allowed both of her arms to rotate ten times. That was ten times her normal punching strength, or at least that's what he assumed.

He didn't know her punching strength, but ten times anything was deadly. He needed a spell to counter, meaning he had to get away. Jura leapt backwards, using all the leg strength he could muster on short notice. However, even that wasn't enough to completely get away from Ari. She appeared in front of him, her arms raised for an elbow strike. However, Jura this time wouldn't allow her to strike him.

He shot his arms upwards, grabbing her arms and trying to stop the rotation. Her arms continued to rotate. Jura's hands however stood strong, suffering minor burns from the speed her skin was rotating. However, he found out that she was unable to lift him and spin him around, which she was so obviously trying to do. He took advantage of this brief moment of respite to turn the tide of the battle, concentrating on a spell. Suddenly, a massive pillar of rock shot up from beneath Ari just as Jura let go of her arms. She soared into the sky, surprised by the development before she could do anything about it.

More pillars shot from the ground, forming a little platform beneath Ari. Ari however, wasn't expecting it when one of the pillars shot upwards again, slamming into her. She coughed, feeling her left arm shatter as blood flew from her mouth.

She landed on her feet anyways, only to be surprised again as the pillar she was standing on shot upwards, causing her eyes to widen. She flew into the air only to be hit by another rising pillar that crushed her other arm. She screamed loudly, unable to take the pain any longer. Jura smirked, his plan coming into effect. It was something he had been working on. Building a platform of iron rock pillars beneath his opponent that randomly shot up, slamming into the opponent or throwing them into the air. It was impossible to stop unless your defense was high, you could fly, or you could shatter the pillars, which in it of itself was near impossible.

Jura let the pillars crumble as he heard Ari scream, letting her fall to the ground. She groaned as she hit the ground unable to move due to the pain in her arms. The severe pain of having one of her arms crushed and the other having all of its bones shattered almost to beyond repair was unbearable. Jura did not hold back with his attack.

Ari shook her head painfully, tears running down her face. "I give up!" she roared.

The referee nodded. "The round two match two winner of bracket A is: Jura Neekis!" the referee roared, getting a cheer from the crowd. They seemed to enjoy the quick match, apparently liking the high intensity it had since the very beginning of the fight.

Naruto smirked as he saw Jura win. He was glad now, he could finally fight the person in his group that he would obviously call the biggest threat in his bracket. Now he could finally fight and defeat the man. He didn't understand why the man seemed to have a strong dislike for him, but he did, and Naruto wasn't exactly a fan of it. Plus, he personally believed that when two people near equal grounds fought they could truly understand each other.

(-Flashback-)

"When two people of similar strength fight against each other they can truly understand each other!"

XxX

"CHIDORI!"

"RASENGAN!"

(-Flashback-)

At least that was what Sasuke believed, and Naruto had taken to believing it too.

Erza looked at his face, noticing how excited it looked. She smiled. "You see excited." Naruto nodded, his eyes never leaving Jura's form. "Yeah…I can't wait for our fight tomorrow. It'll be interesting, that much is for sure."

Erza's eyes closed as she thought of what the fight would be like. Her eyes snapped open as her imagination finally settled on one picture…the entire arena would be a mess…utterly and completely destroyed. Erza thought back to the time when Jose and Makarov fought a brief spar, which ended up in Makarov's victory. After the match she had asked him how the fight went. To this day she remembered his answer.

(-Flashback-)

"Master…how did the fight go?"

Makarov looked at Erza seriously. "It was dangerous, I'm glad we were only sparring."

Erza looked at him strangely. "I don't understand. How could you two actually fighting prove so much more destructive than when you're sparring? I understand you're holding back when you spar, but to destroy as much as I think you're implying…"

"Erza," Makarov began, "when we were sparring alone we destroyed five mountains. I full on fight between Wizard Saints would cause a cataclysm, and that's not even including the 'Four Gods of Ishval'.

Makarov pointed to the destruction they had caused and Erza's eyes widened. The forest they had been fighting in had been destroyed, along with the five mountains surrounding. Then, in the valley behind the mountain….a crater the size of Magnolia rested.

From that day forward Erza took his words to heart.

(-Flashback-)

Erza's eyes widened. "That's frightening."

Naruto looked at her. "Something wrong?"

She just sighed and shook her head. However, Sasuke stretched and jumped down onto the field, prepared for his fight. Louise, with her strong arm in a sash that prevented if from moving, walked down onto the field, passing Jura. Jura turned to look at her intensely, and she stepped back from the man, slightly afraid of him.

"Good luck. I fear you will need it with your injuries."

Louise nodded although it was obvious she didn't appreciate Jura making light of her, injured or not. Rather ironic considering Jura was slightly miffed about Ari making light of him.

Louise continued on, her face remaining neutral all the while. Just because she was angry didn't mean she was going to allow herself to do something rash. That would just be unwise, especially considering the fact she was just about to get into a fight.

She walked onto the field, her face one of calm as she drew her blade.

"Let match one of round two in bracket B: Sasuke Uchiha versus Louise, begin!"

Sasuke paused as he looked at her arm. "You should forfeit. With an injury like that you stand no chance of defeating me."

Louise looked at him as if he was an idiot. "I didn't stand a chance of defeating you even if I was in top shape, I realize that. However, that doesn't change the fact that I will fight you with all of my strength and more to prove myself. I'd rather go down fighting than go down submitting to an enemy I know I could have caused a hell of a lot of trouble for."

Sasuke smirked at her. "I see…I like that. You have pride, you have something to fight for. That's good…very good. I'll respect that."

Sasuke drew his blade, black lightning beginning to flicker around it. "Let's see if you're a better swordsmen."

Louise smirked, silver flames licking her blade. "Bring it on."

The two simultaneously disappeared, reappearing above the stands swords clashing. The crowd stood amazed at the duo who were clashing above their heads. They didn't seem to realize they were falling while they were fighting. Sasuke smirked as they got closer to the stands, flipping in midair and channeling magic to his feet. Suddenly streams of black lightning shot from his feet, sending him flying forwards and towards Louise. He poised his sword for a thrust. Louise's eyes widened as she tried to figure out how to block the technique. Her time ran out before she could think of anything and stuck to blocking it with the flat of her blade. They shot towards the arena, landing with a thud as Louise's back impacted harshly with the arena floor. She groaned as she felt her back ache, but pushed harder against Sasuke's blade which seemed to be pushing Louise's back.

Louise growled, her silver flames picking up in intensity. "I will not lose yet!"

Louise's flames licked the small crater that Sasuke had made when he slammed her into the ground. They started to surround the duo in a circle of fire. Louise growled deeply, the flames rushing towards her. In fear of being hit with the flames Sasuke jumped away, landing outside the crater. He frowned as he saw the silver flames cloak Louise.

"Flaming Armor!"

Sasuke smirked as she coated herself in her element. It would only be just for him to do the same. Black lightning began to cloak his body, sparking madly. Eventually the only thing you could see were the red eyes of his Sharingan.

"Lightning Coat."

Louise's eyes widened as she Sasuke counter her armor with one of his own. She smirked afterwards, clutching her blade tightly.

"Spiral-"

"Lightning Cutter!" Sasuke roared, vanishing. To those with poor eyes he reappeared on the other side of the crater, but for those with keen eyes they saw him appear before Louise, his blade flickering off tons of black lightning before he lashed out with the blade, creating a deep cut on her chest as he cut through the flames.

Louise coughed as her blood hit the ground, and some made her flames seem a bit more of a red color. She turned slowly, preparing to fight again, however she turned and Sasuke shaking his head. She was too injured to truly put up any form of a fight. However, he knew that what she really wanted was to fight him full force, to defeat him with everything she had.

Louise disappeared reappearing before Sasuke.

"It's impressive she can still move like that after taking so much damage," Lucy said.

Makarov nodded. "Indeed. Sasuke may not be holding back when it comes to his skill with the blade, but that girl is no pushover. She is pushing beyond her limits now, and that will only make her stronger."

Happy looked confused. "I don't get it. What happened?"

Makarov looked at Happy. "I'm surprised your eyes didn't catch it seeing how much time you spend with Naruto. Sasuke made a deep cut on her chest."

Happy's eyes widened. "What!? I didn't see it."

Natsu shook his head, patting Happy on the head. "Don't worry. Sasuke was moving at about a third of his full speed when he did that, it would be impossible for a lot of people to see. I'm sure the only people who saw it accurately were Naruto and master."

Happy nodded, but still looked slightly down that he couldn't see what Sasuke had done. Lucy walked up to Happy.

"If it makes you feel any better Happy I couldn't see it either? All I saw was a blur appear and vanish." Happy frowned, although it did seem to make him feel slightly better.

"Yeah, but at least you saw that."

The guild was quiet, realizing a fact that they hadn't truly taken notice of before. Happy wasn't strong enough to be considered a B-rank mage. Not to say the cat was weak, or not useful, but when it came to the aspect of fighting…the cat couldn't do much. It wasn't its fault…it was just the way it was born. The creature only had an affinity for Aera Magic and nothing else. The cat must have felt useless for such a long time after it realized in a fight it was basically deadweight.

Louise groaned as she lay on the ground her armor off and her blood slowly pooling on the ground. Sasuke had easily defeated her, cutting her in various places. Eventually she couldn't walk, and before long, she couldn't even lift her arms. His aim was that deadly. He aimed for tendons and muscles, not the flesh. He was truly a master of the blade in every shape of the word.

Sasuke smiled at her.

"When you heal, I'll be ready for another match."

Louise couldn't manage to hide the smile that wanted to come out on her face. It was the first time she had lost a match of blades. It was rather humbling. It also allowed her to find an opponent she cold strive for.

"I'll be back." Louise said as she was carried away on a medical stretcher.

"Winner of match one of round two in bracket B: Sasuke Uchiha! Would Erza Scarlet and Yui Nii, please come down."

Erza tensed, her body becoming stiff at the mention of her match. It was her time…her time to fight on one of the strongest opponents she would ever face. She turned to face Yui who had a predatory smile on her face. The Matatabi was looking forward to the fight. Matatabi jumped down onto the arena, waiting for Erza.

"Erza," Naruto said. "Be careful, and remember, don't hold back."

Erza nodded, her color returning to normal. Her confidence was back.

Sasuke walked up to Erza, easily jumping up to the holding area.

"Erza…fight with everything you have, but most importantly, don't die."

Erza nodded again as she began her descent onto the arena.

XxX

The Fairy Tail guild was quiet as Erza appeared on the arena. They knew this match would be one of the hardest ones she had ever, no, would ever face, at least going by what Sasuke and Naruto had said. And they would support her all the way through it.

'Good luck, Erza,' Natsu thought.

'You can do it Erza,' Gray thought.

'Be careful,' Lucy thought.

Cana was worried, looking down onto the field. 'Don't you die on me.'

Mirajane watched her rival with the utmost confidence. 'You won't let your dreams die out here.'

Elfman was quiet, as was his mind. He knew this match would be a deciding factor for Erza's future, possibly Naruto's and Sasuke's as well. Along with that Mito person who was scheming all of this.

"Erza," Levy mumbled under her breath, "You won't lose."

Many other Fairy Tail members made their own little prayers, but Makarov was silent. He knew Erza would win.

"Fairy Tail!" the man roared. "TO ERZA!"

The guild, including Naruto and Sasuke, all cheered, throwing up their signature handsign. Erza smiled at the sight, it filled her with confidence, and reassured her. She knew her guild members were fighting this fight alongside her.

"How cute," Matatabi said. "I'll crush that happiness."

Erza growled, a sword materializing in her hand. "Let's see you try."

XxX

Mito Uzumaki watched the two combatants with a smile on her face. "Let's see if you a worthy enough to be called an Uzumaki, to marry into my family. Let's see if you could truly be deemed and Uzumaki in this world…shall we?"

Shukaku appeared behind Mito. "Shukaku, go get Lullaby. Our plans are being set into motion."

Shukaku nodded in submission, although anyone could see that he wanted to rip Mito's head off her shoulders. Shukaku disappeared.

XxX

A flaming blue hellcat surrounded Yui as she released her magic. Erza did the same, a red glow surrounding her before a crimson knight surrounded her. Yui smiled.

"Let match two of round two in bracket B: Erza Scarlet versus Yui Nii, begin!"

Hey guys it's Kuma Akuma. I left you guys on a little cliffy with the Erza and Matatabi fight, along with the Lullaby cliffy. You'll find out what happens with Lullaby next chapter, but Erza and Matatabi will probably be two chapters. Anyways, I hope you guys like my two new side projects, stories. However, I have an annoying story to tell. So, after I got back from my trip the internet and Wi-Fi was completely down, and guess what that means, I couldn't write. Well, that's not exactly accurate, I could have, but I had no way to do research to make sure I stayed true to the laws I wanted to keep. Meaning, no writing. The day the internet and wifi got back up, my computer died completely, meaning that all my stuff that was on Microsoft, which is EVERYTHING, was lost. My two new stories originally had ten chapters, as did Afroze, but then I had to rewrite them and I'm only on chapter one, and I haven't even started Afroze yet. As a plus, the chapter one for bleach and HXH I actually like better than the original. However, the only reason I was able to write was because fanfiction has previews which allowed me to get my stuff back, and because my mom let me use her computer, so thank my mom. AKA, my week sucked. I have to rewrite so many stories, like the mass story upload day that was going to be all of my side projects, yup, THEY ARE ALL GONE. And you guys would have liked a lot of the concepts behind them. Jeez...things are just so tense right now. I feel like I'm forgetting to tell you guys something. Anyways, oh yeah remembered. The final battle, the tournament finale will not be the final battle. There is one after that in this arc, so I hope you guys are getting ready for that. Also, who do you guys think will be in the final, tournament, battle. Go vote on my pole, review, favorite, follow, all that jazz. See you guys later and avoid the Earl.
