A/N: So, hello there. First of all, I will not be bashing anyone in this story, secondly, Naruto will likely not be paired with anybody as it would not be logical for his character.

The other thing I wanted to talk about, is that I will be answering to any questions that you ask or have asked in reviews. I am thankful for each positive review or that cirtiques my work but I will only be answering questions here. Have a nice day!

artittro2003. Q: How strong is Naruto? A: Naruto will not have Kurama nor Hirashin that he can use like his father, but his Mokuton and two sage modes already make him more powerful than prime Hashirama, so I'd say he is currently very strong and will be stronger in the far future. Since Naruto is near god-like, I will be putting the focus of the story on the politics and relationships. This doesn't mean I am not going to write action, you will see action soon but it will be a little scarce.

Now, onto the story, enjoy!

Coming back to consciousness, he found himself buried under rubble. Naruto felt around a little before starting to utilize his strength to break the large pillar that had fallen onto him.

After a while, his hands bloodied and bones inside broken, he had finally broken off a large piece of the pillar, as the sun finally graced Naruto's sights. With a push from his legs, he managed to create a gap from which he could get out to the ground.

After finally freeing himself, he gave his surroundings a look, and at the sight, he couldn't help but let out a loud gasp as tears built up in his eyes.

The entire village was no more. The beautiful Konoha was replaced by a crater.

Jumping to action, he began looking around for his friends, but he could not find them. He encountered corpses of shinobi and civilians on the way, some who had died from what happened to the village and some who had been murdered.

He was ready to give up until he caught sight of a familiar man with long, white hair.

Hearing something nearing, Naruto turned around to see a kunai flying at him. Quickly extending his hand, he caught the kunai only to notice an explosive seal attached to it.

By the time Naruto noticed it, he was already engulfed in an explosion as smoke flew into the air from where he stood.

Seeing that his sensei had not noticed the tag and actually blown up, Itachi quickly became worried as he rushed to where Naruto blew up, only to feel cold metal on his neck. Letting out a quiet yelp, he tried to swipe Naruto off his feet.

Feeling his foot land on something and no longer feeling anything on his neck, he turned around only to see a small puff of smoke vanishing from the place, as he once again felt the touch of something on his neck.

"You did well. Remember, you shouldn't approach places you can't see with such carelessness, I will teach you a simple wind jutsu to blow away smoke and wind next time." Itachi heard Naruto speak from behind him as he lowered his kunai and put it in his pouch.

"I understand. If you don't mind me asking, what are those clones you make — I am sure that they are solid, yet I have never heard of such clones before." Itachi asked, a curious glint in his eyes.

Naruto chuckled at Itachi's politeness. "I don't mind you asking, I use a clone variation called Shadow Clones. They are solid clones they take much more chakra to make, even a Jonin could only make two or three," he replied with a smile. "If you are interested, I can teach you the technique once you make Chunin," Naruto added as an afterthought.

"It sounds very useful, I'd be very grateful if you taught me that," Itachi responded.

"That's great, it's kinda like my signature technique, y'know. Anyway, would you like to join me for lunch?" spoke Naruto as he looked at Itachi.

"No, thank you. I will head straight home. Have a nice day." Itachi said as he started walking towards the Uchiha Compound. Seeing that, Naruto just shrugged, heading off to eat lunch.

Feeling the slightest bursts of chakra from the Hokage's office, Naruto gets up and dresses himself, before Body Flickering inside the office, where he is greeted by the familiar face of Jiraya.

"Oh, hello Jiraiya-sensei. Here to talk plans?" Naruto greeted cheerfully, as Jiraiya donned a perplexed expression.

"Sensei, are you socking another student on me? Cause if you are, I'm out that door and will disappear for the next decade." Jiraiya threatened, anger and grief in his voice.

"No, Naruto-kun here isn't going to be your student, don't you worry," Hiruzen assured with a smile, "He already was your student. In the future which he came back from, you understand, right?" he added.

Jiraiya loudly scoffed. "You don't actually believe that do you?" he asked.

"I assure you, Jiraiya-kun, this man is Naruto Uzumaki, over two decades from the future." Hiruzen assured, a slight smile still on his face.

"Oh, you've gone senile, sensei. You should pass on the hat soon." Jiraiya exclaimed.

"I once again assure you, I am very much sane. And he is very much the fourth Hokage's son who has traveled back in time." Hiruzen said in response, as a wind enhanced Rasengan formed on Naruto's hand.

"Bullshit," Jiraiya muttered, ready to leave the room before Naruto called back to him. "Could you summon Fukasaku real quick, I got some business, non-lethal, very friendly with him."

"I'm sorry, but I will have to make this an order." Hiruzen piped in as Jiraiya let out an exasperated sigh and summoned Fukasaku, before leaving the room.

"Hello, Pa. Sorry for the inconvenience." Naruto greeted, before walking up to Fukasaku, placing a hand on his shoulder and with a single hand-seal, reverse summoning them back to .

In an instant, Fukasaku and Naruto appear inside the toad's home, as Naruto leaves the home and wanders off.

"Don't you worry, I promise to explain everything in a bit!" he shouted as he ran to a giant building, which was the residence of one great toad sage.

"Gamamaru-sama." Naruto greeted with a nod of his head, standing in front of the humongous orange toad.

The toad, Gamamaru, looked at Naruto with a conflicted expression, one he did not wear often. "You… are not from this time. The prophecy had changed, you are the cause." the toad said with confusion in his tone.

Naruto looked somewhat embarrassed at those words, scratching his neck sheepishly. "Yeah, sorry about that. Didn't intend to take my younger self's spotlight," he said with slight amusement in his tone. "But, in my excuse. I did not intend to travel back in time." he added, emphasizing the word 'not'.

"This is a strange occurrence. One I couldn't have expected from even our first summoner, Hagaromo-kun." Gamamaru said.

"Ah yes, good ol' dad was quite against messing with the way the world functions, wasn't he." Naruto said in response, not noticing how taken aback Gamamaru was.

"You refer to Hagaromo as your father, yet you should not know who he is. The world refers to him as "The Sage of Six Paths", but his true name was never revealed. Just who exactly are you, to know this." Gamamaru questioned.

"Nothing other than a chakra transmigration of his son, gone wrong… or right, considering that gaining the memories of Asura was a great help when fighting against enemies tens of times stronger than yourself." Naruto admitted with a slight smile, remembering back to the day he regained his memories… or gained the memories of his previous lives.

"That certainly is an interesting thing. I was not aware that Asura had transmigrated, could you explore upon that subject. I used to be quite close with the boy, always such a bag of sunshine." Gamamaru asked with a big smile etching it's way onto his face.

"Sure, I don't mind sharing what I know." Naruto said, as the two began talking about the future and of Naruto's life.

"Mastering sage in such a small-time frame is a mighty impressive feat. I believe even Hagaromo-kun took more time than that." Gamamaru complimented thoughtfully.

"Ah, I thank you. But I do believe we have gotten side-tracked from the reason I have come here," Naruto said, as he jumped up and landed on the podium Gamamaru is standing on. "My reason for coming here was to ask you to become my personal summon." he asked, looking up at Gamamaru, trying to decipher his thoughts on the subject.

Gamamaru let out a chuckle. "I would be honored, but unfortunately, I am long past my prime. I can barely open my eyes, moving proves to be much too difficult for me." he answered, to which Naruto smirked.

"Which brings me to my next topic, I have the ability to reverse the age of a life form, although this does not work on humans, toads should be in my capability," Naruto revealed as an aura of self-confidence could be seen around him.

Gamamaru considered it for a moment before responding. "I would like to see the outside world again… And kicking some ass would be very entertaining too."

"That's great, now, it might hurt a bit, but you will be back in your primes in a minute," he said, as orange markings covered his face. Naruto then slammed his hands on the ground, as a giant wood cocoon surrounded Gamamaru.

Placing his hands on the cocoon, Naruto started flooding his chakra into it as a small purple mark appeared on the cocoon.

After a while, when Naruto had emptied most of his chakra reserves into the cocoon, he released the chakra stored inside it, as purple lines wrapped themselves around the cocoon, and inside it, around Gamamaru's body.

.

.

.

.

Soon, the wood started dying and turning into small flakes which were blown away by the slight breeze present in the room, revealing a considerably bigger orange toad.

"Incredible!" Gamamaru muttered, in a voice much different from before. "What method did you reckon to make this possible?" he asked with disbelief.

"I used the theory behind The Hundred Sealing's Mark, using the wood cocoon around you as a middleman to flood with potent healing chakra, which made your cells regenerate at such speeds that your older cells were destroyed, and replaced with new ones, effectively giving you a new body that looks exactly like you in your youth." Naruto explained, breathing roughly as he was feeling the effects of using up nearly all of his chakra.

As Naruto and Gamamaru were discussing the theory behind the jutsu Naruto just executed, Fukasaku and Shima had burst into the place and staring at the giant form of Gamamaru in awe.

"Oh, hello. I did promise to explain earlier, didn't I?" Naruto says as he jumps on top of Gamamaru. "So, I am from the future where I am the last person alive, all that stuff. I am Naruto Uzumaki, a former toad summoner and a toad sage. I'm here to become a summoner of you again. As for Gamamaru here, I reversed his age, hence the new look. He can also detect I am not from this timeline, so, all the proof you need there." Naruto recapped.

"You are from the future?" Gamamaru pipes up, before remembering what they talked about when Naruto first introduced himself. "Oh, forgot." he muttered under Naruto's amused look.

Fukasaku and Shima, seeing that Gamamaru was clearly trusting of Naruto, could only shrug and throw Naruto a summoning contract, which Naruto caught with ease and quickly signed.

"Thanks a lot! Alright, see you soon, 'Maru." Naruto said in glee as he disappeared in a puff of smoke.

"Such a strange man." Shima says as she tries to process the situation.

"Oddly reminds you of Minato-kun, doesn't he?" Fukasaku wonders in response.

Naruto appeared in the council room, where the Hokage was seated, no one else around.

"It seems like Jiraiya-sensei will not be joining us?" Naruto said and asked at the same time, to which Hiruzen just shook his head. "Give him time, he will come around." Hiruzen replied, to which Naruto simply nodded, knowing it to be true.

"Anyway, a plan to take Orochimaru down while rescuing as many people who are being experimented on and not lose many shinobi. I propose we tail him to a hideout, then call him for mission reasons while we take him down and the people who tailed him to the hideout ransack the place, take all that is important, and the rest is history." Naruto proposed as Hiruzen fell into thought.

"Too much would be up to chance, I do agree with luring him away. A good way would be to send you and Orochimaru on a mission that is outside the village together, while my subordinates and I raid his hideouts." Hiruzen spoke, to which Naruto nodded in agreement.

"Taking him out of the village would surely be an effective way to guarantee nothing would go sideways. Yet, we do not know the location of his hideout. I could leave a ton of clones to look for the place." Naruto responded.

"Oh! There is a spy of Orochimaru in the ranks, I nearly forgot that he is still in the Root forces currently. We could have a Yamanaka scavenge his mind for the location?" Naruto offered.

"Yes, that would likely work. I will send my shinobi to capture the man a few days before we execute the plan. Too early could alert him that there is something going on." Hiruzen agreed as they said their goodbyes and parted for the night.
