This is a story suggestion that was messaged to me from IAbsolutleyLoveKong. This story takes place after Hulk leaves at the end of Age of Ultron. I do not own any of these characters or have any part of MCU. If I did, Natasha wouldn't have been killed and she and Steve would have lived happily ever after. Please let me know what you think.

Hulk sat quietly on the Quinn jet contemplating over the most recent events. He had just dropped off Natasha on the flight deck of the air carrier. She had hit her head knocking her out momentarily when Ultron fired upon them. But with her enhanced biotechnology, he knew she would be okay. Out of all the things the Red Room had done to her, subjugating her to the biotech enhancement was probably the only thing he would consider to be a blessing. Not only did it make her resistant to aging, but it also helped her heal beyond what a normal human body was capable of doing. It also made her practically immune to any illness or disease.

Hulk's thoughts drifted back to the last message she had sent him. The hurt in her eyes when she had asked him to take the jet out of stealth so they could track his location. But he knew deep down inside that Bruce did not want to be found. Hulk knew he would never hurt Nat on purpose but that was the key word. He would never hurt her intentionally but if one day he lost control, her enhanced biotech may not protect her from him.

He felt Bruce pushing back to the surface attempting to gain control. He tried to fight it as best as he could by hitting himself in the face. "Hulk not ready!" he yelled as she stumbled from where he was standing. He felt Bruce fight to take control become stronger until he felt a snap within him, indicating that the change was about to happen. Hulk knew there was no point in continuing to resist the transition. He closed his eyes and allowed Bruce to continue to push forward. For now, he would rest from the world.

Bruce fell to the ground after the transition had finished. No matter how many times he transformed into the hulk, the transition was painful each time. He stood up pulling his pants tightly around his waist. The Quinn jet? Why am I in the Quinn jet? He walked over to the flight controlled and replayed the last message.

Nat's face appeared on the screen. "Hey big guy. We did it, the jobs finished. Now I need you to turn the bird around, okay?" Bruce saw the hurt in Nat's eyes and his and his heart broke. "We can't track you in stealth mode. So help me out, I need…" the message ended abruptly.

Bruce looked out the window and saw that they were still flying. To where, he didn't know at this exact moment. To be honest, he had no idea where he was going to go but he needed time alone, time to think about what decisions he would be making in the future. He needed to sort out the situation between him and the Hulk. He can't live like this forever. There used to be a time when he had control over his emotions. He was able to channel his anger to the point where he was able to transform into the Hulk whenever he please. But now, the Hulk was fighting for dominance. The Hulk had grown an attachment to Nat and he was constantly fighting for control when around her.

The love the Hulk had for Nat was not a sexual attraction but more like a child to a mother figure. Nat treated him kindly and cared for him like no one else had done. She was the only one that could sooth him so Bruce could take control. The battle with Ultron was a blur to Bruce. Hulks memories were like a dream to him. What caused Hulk to run? Bruce thought hard trying to recall the memories forward.

"Hey big guy, suns getting real low." Hulk turned around to see Nat standing in front of him with a soft look in her eyes. Her hand raised as she reached out to him. She nodded at him as she held her hand out further indicating the trust she had for him to take her hand. Hulk reached out to accept her hand. His guard let down to the point where he was no longer paying attention to his surroundings. And out of nowhere, gun fire erupted nearly missing Nat. Hulk stumbled backwards as Nat was thrown to the ground onto her back.

Bruce pinched the bridge of her nose as he felt Hulk's fear coursing through his body when he saw Nat unconscious on the ground. She had almost been killed because Hulk let his guard down. She was distracted with calming Hulk that she let her guard down. He almost lost her that day twice. He couldn't take the chance again. He couldn't return to her until he fixed himself. He couldn't risk losing her again.
