Jose19: Um, magic does not solely belong to one person. Sky God Slayer Magic does not solely belong to Chelia and as such Naruto can use it.

Okay, because to many people requested to many anime I'm just saying thank you to everyone. I have watched some of those requested, don't like others, and have begun to read/watch others so I thank all for any and all recommendations.

Stormfall

Erza glared at the man in front of her. "So you didn't do anything after 'The Fire Knight' appeared on this island?" The man blushed, "I apologize." Erza glared at him. "The fact that the mission wasn't signed off on should have been enough of a warning sign for you." Erza sighed. "I guess I'll go deal with these three idiots."

The chief of the village frowned at Erza's harsh words, surprised with her. "How could you be so cruel to your own guildmates?"

Erza frowned. "It's none of your business."

The man frowned. "I think it is quite sincerely our business. You are on our island-"

"Trying to stop my guildmates from destroying it, that's it that's all. My relationship with them is of no concern of yours."

Erza stormed off from the man, her anger mounting. 'That was to sharp,' she thought after she cooled off for a while. 'Still it wasn't his business...I care about them…but if they go off they might not be able to defend themselves…especially if the bijuu show up again. I can't let them go off on their own…'

Lyon couldn't help but frown as he looked at the unconscious form of Yuka on the ground. "What happened," Lyon mumbled, noticing the degree of burns on Yuka's body. "Burns like these are by no means natural. 'The Fire Knight' to my knowledge isn't capable of such degree burns…but Gray is in Fairy Tail…and the Salamander is believed to be capable of using such intense flames."

Lyon frowned. "Well then…this may be a very big problem." And with that Lyon turned on his foot and stalked off, determined to find Natsu and defeat him under any means necessary. He was not afraid of a Dragon Slayer.

After all, what was a Dragon Slayer to a person about to slay a demon?

XxX

Gray awoke with a groan and a painful feeling in his chest and shoulder. "What the hell," Gray mumbled, recalling his encounter with Lyon. He groaned, lifting himself with one hand and leaning against a wall of rubble. He groaned before he noticed he was in a cage. "Goddamn it," Gray mumbled, before he looked at his broken shoulder. "With how my arm is using full Ice-Make powers is a no go. You have got to be kidding me."

Gray however was not prepared to give up simply because of a broken shoulder. It was simply broken, he could still move his hand. Barely, definitely not enough to rely on in a fight. Yet Gray still walked up to the bars containing him in his cage, smirking as he saw they were made of metal and not ice.

"Well I guess this is the smarter decision," Gray stated, his smirk falling. "Why waste his concentration keeping this spell up when he could simply use iron to bind me. Then again, his ice likely would have worked better." Without another word Gray grasped a bar of the cage with his good arm before he closed his eyes and slowly began to channel his magic energy. A chill settled over the surrounding area before the bars containing Gray simultaneously froze over. Gray smirked.

"And this is exactly why mages that use an element are so freaking overpowered," Gray mumbled before shattering the ice with a punch. He hadn't made it dense enough to stop his punch, and it happened to make the iron brittle enough for him to break. It was a win-win.

Gray stepped out of his cage, glancing around the hallway he was in. He frowned at the classic decision of going right or left before he just randomly decided to go left. The majority of people chose right when lost, so he decided to go against the flow.

'Unless of course it's a trick by Lyon and to find him I need to go right…but he could be double-faking me and actually went left…' Gray entertained the thought process for several steps before he shook his head. 'If I keep thinking that way I'll just go in circles!'

Levy glared at Naruto with a hate that no man, woman, or Uchiha could ever have hoped to match in either of the lives he had lived…bar Kaguya…but she didn't really count as an Uchiha now did she?

"Gut you," Levy mumbled. "Gut you like a fish."

Naruto laughed, "There we go! I knew I could get the violent little Levy out of her shell and into the open. I just had to pick on you for a while!"

Levy directed her hateful gaze onto the club Naruto had generously bought for her, her gaze perhaps intensifying. She had been at this for hours and she hadn't accomplished a damn thing. "You know," Naruto said, beginning to attempt to help the young mage, however she might as well have bit his hand off with how she looked at him. Naruto immediately recoiled, clamming up.

'I regret bringing out violent Levy. Violent Levy is seriously scary.'

Instead of actually watching Levy's continuous failed attempts Naruto simply looked at the ground, poking it with a stick…the same stick he had used when he first arrived to Earthland.

Where the hell exactly did he keep that thing? Levy did not think she wanted to know.

Levy sighed and closed her eyes, frowning at her low magic reserves. She once again formed the word Light and basically equipped it to her club, but once again it did nothing but radiate light.

"Think of it like a videogame," Naruto quickly stated, allowing him to finish the statement before Levy cut him off with another one of her evil glares. In fact, Levy was so shocked to hear him say that that she raised an eyebrow, her previous anger all but forgotten. "Like a…videogame? Why a videogame?" Naruto smirked. "Think about it Levy. I know you're not really the type to play videogames but this is fairly obvious. In videogames you can add certain buffs for a limited time on items. That's essentially what I want you to do with that club. Just imagine it as if you are activating a specific element about the buff you're putting on your items, in this case the club, and activate it."

Levy blinked at Naruto's explanation, kind of shocked. She blinked once more before she realized something.

If people ignored the stupidity Naruto spewed on an almost daily basis, even out of battle Naruto was a genius.

Sometimes.

Like as in 20 percent of the time it worked every time.

'That doesn't make sense.'

Levy ignored her sudden realization on Naruto's intelligence before she closed her eyes and once again focused on creating the word Light, only this time using Naruto's videogame concept as the basis of her thought process. She formed the word, much more confident in it before she 'equipped' it once more.

This time the club did not shine brightly, instead it did something potentially much more dangerous.

It burst into flames.

Naruto quickly snuffed out the flames with his Sky God Slayer Magic before he turned to look at Levy who was looking at him now with a blank look. Naruto gave a light smile. "Hey, it was a different use of the word Light."

Levy simply looked up at the sky and sighed. "GODDAMN IT NARUTO!"

Sasuke sat on the ground in the closest grassland to Magnolia, breathing deeply. If anyone came upon him at this moment they would wonder what he was doing, however he simply sat there, breathing deeply. Cana was no longer with him, likely reading in the library…or disobeying Sasuke's orders. Likely the latter, which was what he had expected.

Sasuke breathed in once again, however this time he channeled his magic, generating a surge of black lightning around him before he breathed out, causing the lightning to dissipate. He repeated this process several times before he suddenly stopped breathing and shot his lightning outwards in small sparks. He frowned, concentrating even more, attempting to draw back the lightning. He succeeded, sweat falling from his face as he tried to manipulate his powers. He then sent a surge of electricity outwards in a dome-shape, before his eyes snapped open in realization as the dome crumbled due ot his lack of concentration.

"No way," Sasuke mumbled. "I can do it…"

XxX

Natsu frowned as he stared at the person in front of him and Lucy. "Who are you?" The man frowned. "Another Fairy Tail mage? I really don't want to have to deal with another one of you right now. Your ice-using friend is already getting in my business."

Natsu raised an eyebrow. "I have no idea what you're talking about." The man snorted. "Yes, because you likely did something stupid like steal this mission didn't you mage? After all the official notice for its acceptance wasn't sent out, and it wasn't a dual-guild request."

Natsu frowned, although he blushed. "I didn't happen to do that…"

Chuck sighed. "'Salamander' you are a horrible liar." Natsu, completely forgetting about his previous embarrassment, got to the point. "So you're here to complete the mission then? So we should work together."

Chuck shook his head. "No we shouldn't. I'm not working with a Fairy Tail mage. You may seem to be the exact opposite of the ice-wielder but I'm just really not in the mood right now. I happen to be very irritated right now."

Natsu raised a hand. "Come on, it's not that bad is it?" Chuck stepped forwards, ignoring Natsu and brushing past him. Natsu frowned, "Hey why'd you-"

"Leave me be 'Salamander'."

Natsu glared at Chuck. "Dick." Chuck rolled his eyes before he raised his hand, a small ball of fire in his hands. Natsu's eyes widened before he smirked. "Thanks, I was feeling a little hungry!"

Natsu opened his mouth and would have eaten the fire if Chuck hadn't sent him flying with a kick. Natsu groaned as he stood again, Lucy racing over to him.

"Natsu!"

Chuck glared at Natsu, drawing two daggers. The look on his face was one of pure unadulterated rage. "'Salamander,'" Chuck whispered out as he rushed forwards.

Gray stood over the unconscious forms of Lyon's henchmen who were using magic to thaw Deliora. "Well at least that's over with," Gray mumbled. "They were really easy to defeat." Gray looked upwards, glancing at the purple moon in the sky. "And I also now know what the hell is going on with this island."

Gray sighed, closing his eyes as he felt out his magic reserves. They were lower than what he desired but he would have to make due. He sat down on a rock as he looked towards the entrance towards the top of the temple. There was no doubt in his mind that Lyon would come to him in this instance. The spell had been stopped, and Lyon would definitely come to check on him to find out what was going on.

Gray was ready this time. Their rematch would be soon.

It was only a matter of time.

XxX

Erza walked through the temple, frowning as she once again felt a magic signature spiking and dropping, but she felt no other signature that it might have been combating against, which made no sense. 'Why would someone be doing this? There's no way they're training when the island is likely a warzone if the two signatures earlier are anything to go by.'

Erza walked up several flights of stairs before she found her answer in the form of Natsu fighting a man she had hoped he would not encounter.

"'The Fire Knight.'"

Lucy turned, her face paling instantly as she saw Erza whom was glaring at Lucy. "You idiot." Erza mumbled. Lucy prepared to defend her case but Erza brushed her aside.

"Lucy," she stated. Lucy raised an eyebrow. "Yeah?"

"Let's ignore the fact you, Gray, and Natsu will be severely punished when you get back to the guild and focus on the important thing here," she said, getting Lucy to frown. "Natsu may have the advantage over 'The Fire Knight' solely because of the fact he cannot use his flames, but Natsu pissed him off. That much is obvious. We're leaving this island…now."

Lucy's frown deepened. "Erza I get what you're saying and all, but I mean can we at least complete this quest please? There's another Golden Key of the Zodiac in it for me if we do!" Erza glared at Lucy, but she couldn't deny the fact that Fairy Tail needed strength…especially if the incident with Mito Uzumaki, Matatabi, and Shukaku was anything to say.

"Fine," Erza mumbled. "I will allow it."

Lucy smiled before she drew another golden key. "Thanks. Now, Open Gate of The Maiden, Virgo!"

Virgo once again appeared in front of Lucy, bowing. "How may I help you princess?"

Lucy sighed. "Pretty much the same as last time, help out Natsu." The spirit nodded before she rushed off to engage Chuck. Erza nodded to herself before she began to shine, the glow dying down to reveal her standing in her Purgatory Armor.

"Lucy," Erza asked as she watched Natsu evade a slash of Chuck's knife before lashing out with a Fire Dragon's Iron Fist. The attack missed, but that wasn't what Erza was focused on, even as Virgo intervened to help Natsu push Chuck back.

"Did I ever tell you what the Purgatory Armor actually does?"

Lucy shook her head. "I don't recall so." Erza smirked as her magic energy spiked. "It's a simple ability…but one that is actually quite powerful. Adaptability."

Lucy raised an eyebrow. "Adaptability? I don't see how that's exactly powerful." Erza smirked, her armor beginning to change form upon recognizing the ability it was going up against. "It's simple. This armor reacts to whatever I decide is a threat and adapts to it, plain and simple."

Erza's Purgatory Armor know covered every inch of her body bar her eyes, spikes jutting out at the shoulders, elbows, and knees of her armor. A long trailing helm ended in a snake-like pattern behind her. The mace Erza once held was no a long, extremely sharp katana. Erza smirked.

"Wow," Lucy said.

Erza suddenly disappeared, shocking Lucy with her speed. Erza appeared in front of Chuck abruptly, her katana already in mid-swing. Chuck was unable to use his magic to defend, caught off guard by the strong offensive and was sent flying by the strike, slamming into a wall.

"I apologize for their stupidity," Erza said. "But I cannot allow you to harm my friends." Chuck groaned as he stood, glaring at Erza. "Well now I'm pissed."

Natsu smirked. "I'm ready to go!" He cried before he felt a disturbing presence wash over him. Erza was glaring at him, causing him to shrink away. "Get Gray…and then get your asses back here, am I understood?"

Natsu and Lucy weakly nodded before they rushed off, Virgo rushing after them. Erza turned to Chuck who had sheathed his daggers, preferring to wield a katana of fire. Erza smirked, knowing the exact armor she could have worn to face him easily, but she stayed in her Purgatory Armor as it changed.

The armor deepened in color and instead of covering her entire body it covered her chest arms and legs, leaving her midriff, neck, and head open. The katana she once wielded changed back into a mace, albeit it a much smaller one.

Sure…she could have used her Flame Empress Armor, but she felt like crushing an opponent.

After all she was a tad miffed about the fact the bijuu hurt her friends. She had to let out pent up frustration somehow right?

Chuck shot forwards, swinging his katana in an attempt to cleanly bisect Erza through her midriff, yet the attractive redhead easily dodged by jumping out of range before she lashed out with her mace. Chuck brought his katana back, the katana transforming into a war as he blocked the strike, and with insane physically strength sent Erza skidding backwards with a push from his arm.

Erza's eyes widened as she looked at the man in front of her. "You…" she mumbled. "That kind of physical strength shouldn't be possible using only one hand." Chuck simply twirled his axe and shot forth once again, determined to press his advantage. He was not in the mood for talking.

Erza bobbed and weaved between the swings, able to outpace Chuck's powerful swings of his axe. 'I can't let that hit me. With how fast he's striking I have to focus solely on dodging. The Purgatory Armor can't adapt in a situation like this! I have to be perfectly still and concentrate on it! Plus the insane power behind any of those blows would be enough to break any of my bones.'

Chuck suddenly grabbed the war axe and did something highly illogical, which happened to work in this instance. He extended the war axe and slowly began to spin until he was a cyclone of pure unrestrained power, the axe, moving quickly. The intense speed exposed the fire to an even larger area of influence so to speak, giving it more oxygen to feed off of.

Needless to say Erza got the hell out of there before the firestorm was every launched in her direction.

Chuck simply waited patiently for Erza to emerge from the hallway that connected with the one that was now thoroughly radiating heat. Erza walked in the hot hallway, wearing the bare minimum of armor, revealing the amount of sweat coming off of her body.

"That's a creative way to use Fire-Make."

Chuck snorted. "I'm nowhere near as limited as the Ice-Make user from your guild is. Even if I use Fire-Make I can still transform it into other weaponry."

Erza couldn't deny the fact that she was impressed as she looked at Chuck. He was definitely more powerful than Gray that was for sure. Erza raised her hands, revealing the daggers in them. Chuck simply smirked and raised his hand, a katana in them.

"Let's see which is better," Chuck asked before he shot forwards. Erza met him halfway in a clash of metal and flame. The duo danced around the hallway, the noise of combat eerily obvious as the duo moved so fast they were simple blurs to the untrained eye. It would have been an invigorating battle had someone been watching it.

Chuck had the reach advantage, capable of staying further way from Erza and lashing out with quick, precise slashes from his katana that kept her on her heels. Erza however had the speed advantage, being slightly faster than Chuck thanks to her armor and she was capable of launching more than one attack at the same time, allowing her to defend and attack simultaneously.

As the duo broke apart for a brief respite they couldn't help but look at the other in a new light. They had finally found someone they could fight all out against and have fun whilst doing so. They did not have to hold anything back so that they didn't accidentally kill their opponent, because they knew the opponent could counter it.

It was an euphoric feeling.

XxX

Gray stood in front of Lyon, who already had two lions of ice in front of him.

"You Gray," Lyon mumbled. "I never thought of you as an idiot. You never were smart…but this is sheer stupidity. You can't beat me with a broken shoulder." Gray simply smirked. "Come at me Lyon." Lyon wasted no time in fulfilling Gray's request, sending the two lions of ice at Gray, however he was surprised when he saw two spears of ice impale the lions from all around the duo. Lyon frowned, glancing around before his eyes widened. Gray smirked.

"There's a reason I stood in front of rubble. You didn't notice it until now did you?"

The entire battlefield around the duo was made of ice. Lyon growled. "What did you do?" Gray laughed.

(-Flashback-)

Gray stood above the defeated mages of Lyon's group, frowning. "I can't beat him with a broken shoulder but…"

Gray slowly went around in a square-formation, forming a small piece of ice in key areas. He sat down on rubble and closed his eyes his magic trailing to each of them. He smirked as he felt them grow.

"They'll be ready for when Lyon arrives."

(-Flashback-)

"Ur taught it to us…you just never bothered to actually pay attention to this lesson. Ice-Make: Frozen Zone."

Lyon, displeased with the situation, still smirked. "Gray while this may be a formidable move against a different elemental mage it's of no use against me. I can just manipulate it Gray!" Gray smirked at Lyon who laid a hand on Gray's ice, preparing to use it to attack him to no avail.

"What?"

Gray sighed. "Lyon I knew from the start that I wouldn't be able to win a straight up match with you with a broken shoulder. And there's no way in hell a basic area coverage spell that you could manipulate would do anything to change that, I'm no idiot. This just confirms that while you may be Ur's star-pupil, I was clearly the one that actually paid attention. I was never able to perfect this technique until a year ago," Gray said. "But it's all worth it now. This spell…negates any form of control another Ice Magic or Ice-Make user could have over it if my overall magic capacity is greater than your own."

Lyon's eyes widened. "What are you saying?" Gray smirked. "My overall magic capacity is higher than yours Lyon. Of course magic capacity can be changed…but you don't have that luxury right now do you?"

And with that a dome of ice surrounded Lyon before a scream erupted from the dome. The dome suddenly shattered to reveal Lyon, unconscious with a number of painful cuts and bruises on him. Gray frowned. "Maybe I overdid it a little," he mumbled.

Gray shrugged. "No need to worry."

And that was when Gray froze in fear…because of the nostalgia that just hit him.

Deliora had roared.

(-Flashback-)

Ferocious roaring. That was all a much younger Gray heard as he stood looking up in terror at the Demon of Zeref. Deliora towered over him, completely ignoring his existence as if he were an annoying fly buzzing around it. It simply destroyed the town around him, launching several magic beams through the ground that left giant rows of flame shooting into the air, superheating the area around the town.

Gray didn't even notice Lyon grabbing Gray's shoulder, running away from the 'Demon of Destruction' that threatened to destroy them too if they didn't get far enough away. However, the running drew Deliora's attention as it shot a magic beam at the small children. Gray screamed in terror only for his eyes to widen in shock as a massive wall of ice appeared in front of the duo, however part of it was shattered upon impact, vaporizing a leg.

Gray couldn't believe his eyes when he saw Ur glaring up at Deliora, a leg missing. Ur quickly created an Ice-Make: Leg to solve the problem of walking and staunch the blood loss.

"What did I tell you Gray," she mumbled, seemingly slightly irritated and slightly amused. "Don't run off fighting Deliora…you'll get somebody killed."

"Watch out!" Gray hollered at the top of his lungs, pointing at Deliora preparing to launch another magical beam of its, however Ur spun to face Deliora, a sad look on her face. "Take care of yourself Gray…Lyon."

Ur dropped into a stance Gray hand never seen her use before. Her hands formed an "X" position as her right arm rested above her left, with her right palm facing down and her left palm facing up. A surge of magic energy blasted off of her as magic seals surrounded Deliora, the power radiating off of them binding it in place. A vortex of ice seemed to form around Deliora as Ur uncrossed her hands.

"Iced Shell!" A surge of white covered Gray's vision as snow and ice was blown everywhere from the shockwave of the spell. As the smoke cleared Gray saw Deliora sealed within a giant form of ice, a look of pure rage on its face. He glanced forwards to see Ur giving him a smile and waving before her body began to crack and break off into pieces of ice.

Gray froze in place as he looked at the now imprisoned form of Deliora unable to do anything. He didn't even register Lyon fall to his knees and cry.

And he didn't notice when Lyon got up and left.

(-Flashback-)

Gray snapped out of his paralysis before he raced down the steps of the temple, rushing to get to Deliora. He had to seal the monster away…or who knew what would happen?

XxX

Erza and Chuck paused as they heard a massive roar interrupt their fight. "What was that?" Erza mumbled. Chuck frowned. "That may have been that giant monster that was imprisoned in the ice." Erza's eyes widened. "But if that thing is free then-"

Erza was cut off as the temple suddenly shook violently, before the floor gave way and the entire temple fell.

XxX

Natsu reached for Lucy, flames blasting from his feet to propel him to her. Virgo had disappeared upon the first roar Deliora had let lose. Natsu grabbed Lucy, holding her tightly as he glared at the quickly approaching ground. He opened his mouth. "Fire Dragon's Roar!"

XxX

Laxus watched the only temple on the island collapse with a vague form of interest and a slight form of worry. "Well that's not good. Them dying isn't exactly benefical to anyone…but the magic power that was just released."

Laxus shuddered as he shot off. "I don't want to be near whatever let that amount of magic power loose when it gets out."

And with that a yellow lightning bolt shot through the sky.

XxX

Gray groaned as he slowly stood, pushing rubble off of his body. He let out a heavy breath, leaning against an upturned stone as he looked around. "I'm lucky I was on the top floor…or else that would have been bad."

Gray let out several more deep breaths before his eyes widened with realization. "Natsu! Lucy!"

Gray saw a blast of fire shoot through rubble, causing him to let out a breath of relief. From the hole the fire generated Natsu and Lucy emerged, both looking tired but nothing serious. "Gray," Lucy said. "What the heck happened?"

Gray frowned. "That roar…Deliora is free."

"Deliora?" Lucy asked. "You mean that monstrosity that was trapped in the ice?" Gray nodded before he shifted through rubble near him, smiling with relief as he found Lyon. 'Good he's not dead. Ur would never forgive me if he died.'

"Erza," Lucy cried, looking around. "Erza are you alright?" Gray glanced at Natsu. "Erza's here?" Natsu nodded. "She came to take us back." Gray's eyes widened. "Right…I was supposed to do that huh?" Natsu nodded before he saw a tuff of red hair. He walked over to it, pushing rubble out of the way before he looked down, revealing Erza and Chuck, both unconscious. "They were pinned in between all the rubble…they likely got more of it than we did."

Natsu picked up Erza, putting the redhead on his back before he turned to look at Gray. "You ready to go?" Gray shook his head. "No…we have to reseal Deliora."

Natsu frowned. "You act as if-"

A massive roar cut Natsu off as rubble was sent flying everywhere. Natsu, Lucy, and Gray all were pushed back by the sheer power radiating off the roar.

"It's like a shockwave!" Lucy called out, Natsu barely able to hear her over the roar, only because of his enhanced senses.

However, from the massive hole generated by the roar an intimidating figure rose. Deliora, the 'Demon of Destruction' was a massive, dark blue demon of humanoid shape. It had a large torso and two large arms that ended in scaly hands. His legs were thick and muscular, trailing to feet that was similar to that of a birds. He had mane-like styled hair that flowed to the nape of his neck with a pair of horns pointing upwards that began from the plate that rested on his forehead. Large pointed teeth that dripped some form of liquid with hollow eyes.

Gray's eyes widened as he looked at the beast. 'There's no way! He's free! And I can't even use Iced Shell to seal him again.'

Natsu glared at the massive beast, flames gathering around him. "Fire Dragon's-"

Natsu stopped his attack as Deliora began to crack before crumbling to the ground. Gray's eyes widened…"What?"

Deliora crumbled to the ground, no more than dust in the wind.

Gray's eyes widened. "Ur," he mumbled. "Iced Shell must have drained him of life for the last 10 years…Ur…killed him."

Natsu smirked. "Well I guess that's that." Lucy blanched at Natsu's nonchalant attitude. "You know I didn't want to fight that thing…but it was fairly anti-climactic."

Gray gave off a light smile. "I think I'm glad it was."

Lucy simply raised an eyebrow at the teenager before they walked off, Gray carrying Lyon and Natsu carrying Erza. "There's still the problem of the moon though," Lucy stated, looking up at the discolored moon. Gray smiled. "I think I know what the problem is," Gray mumbled, forming a bow.

"Ice-Make: Bow and Arrow!"

Gray let lose a powerful arrow of ice into the sky, causing Lucy to look at him, wide-eyed. "Are you gonna try and blow up the moon!?"

Gray shook his head as suddenly the sky seemed to crack before it shattered…revealing the sky once again but with a moon that looked like the stereotypical one.

"The spell Lyon's henchmen were using to free Deliora…it formed some crystalline substance in the sky," Gray explained. The trio had now arrived at the village full of demons.

"I don't know exactly what it did to these guys…but that is what the problem was."

The village elder walked over to Gray. "Now that I think about it," the elder mumbled. "I would have to say this young lad is correct. We didn't transform into demons…we are demons."

Lucy paled. "Wait…if you're demons…does that mean that you're going to kill us?!" The village elder chuckled. "No, no. You have all done what you promised, and we have no reason to even dislike you. Here is your reward."

A key and a large stack of money was held out by the leader. Lucy squealed slightly, grabbing the key. Gray grabbed the money, nodding his thanks at the elder.

"Thank you." Gray then sat Lyon on the ground. "Could you do me a favor and take care of him until he wakes?"

The elder gave a light smile. "We owe you. It's the least we could do." Gray once again nodded his thanks. "Tell him that if he's really that angry and hurt over losing Ur…tell him to join a guild for me please?"

The elder nodded before he walked off, Lyon in his arms. The trio turned to walk off also.

"Mission complete," Lucy asked. Gray smirked. "Mission complete."

Natsu pumped his fist in the air, cheering. "I completed my first S-rank mission without help from an S-class!"

Lucy blanched. "Um…Erza."

Natsu's energy suddenly died down. "Shut up Lucy," Natsu mumbled, slight tears trailing from his eyes. Lucy gave off a slight laugh, uncomfortable with Natsu's tears before Gray handed her the money.

"Gray?"

Gray sighed. "Lucy I won't be returning to Fairy Tail for a bit. Tell the Master I'm sorry…but I have to go back home to check up on a few things…and reestablish myself." Lucy frowned. "Why can't you do that with us Gray? We're your friends."

Gray shook his head. "You guys are family…but I have to do this Lucy. Naruto said I had another magic that would be easier to learn back home…and I also have a lot more that I need to think about. Lyon was right…it was my fault Ur died…and I never wanna be the cause of someone's death ever again."

Natsu snapped his head up. "Alright." Lucy gave Natsu a look of shock. "But Natsu-" Natsu shook his head. "I can understand where Gray is coming from," Natsu said. "In all honesty I probably need to go back to where Igneel trained me so I can improve my own abilities. I understand Gray…I'll tell Master."

Gray nodded his thanks before he walked over to the ocean. "Ice-Make: Boat!" Gray crafted two boats of ice, with paddles on them. "Take one to get back to the mainland. I'll see you guys soon."

Lucy frowned. "Goodbye Gray." Gray gave off a slight smile and gave her a wave before he stood, looking at Natsu. The two rivals looked at each other steadily before they gave off a nod. They had both made a silent promise.

To become stronger by the time they saw each other again. With that Gray hopped in his boat and set off, looking towards the horizon.

Tartarus' eyes snapped open before he walked through a dark pathway, smirking as he saw a chamber filled with large tubes. He glanced over at a young girl working away, a smile on her face. The girl had a small frame, with her dark hair in a bob cut with two rabbit-like ears protruding from her head. A fluffy lab coat with large pom poms draped over her body, with a dark skirt and shirt underneath it. She sported a pair of tights with knee-high boots, with a tie that said, "1/16" on it.

"Lamy," he said, getting her attention. "Deliora has died."

Lamy's eyes widened before she nodded. "Hell's Core is going to get its first experiment in remaking demons then?" Tartarus nodded getting Lamy to squeal with glee before she ran over to a machine, punching in buttons. The laboratory let off a dull hum of power before one of the tubs revealed a small form of fire and ice.

"Isn't it intriguing?" Tartarus heard, turning to look at the man called 'The Demon King' despite being weaker than him.

"Mard Geer," Tartarus said.

Mard Geer was a tall, lean demon with the appearance of a young man. A smirk was on his face, illuminating his dark features. Long, wavy black hair that reached his shoulders was tied up in a large ponytail, however messy bangs almost obscured his dark, slanted eyes. He donned a long black jacket that was trimmed with a light-colored flame pattern, with lapels matching. The cuffs of the jacket were rolled up, showing the light inside. A black line cut through the edge of the fabric. The jacket however was fairly tattered and split into four torn segments of fabric at the tail. Underneath the jacket he sported a frilly-black v-neck, with lighter lining, that closed down the middle and was adorned with a buckle below the clavicle. Light colored pants draped over his legs, laying almost lazily over plain black boots with a seam running down the middle. A pair of buckles formed an "X" on his thigh and lower calf.

"My power is impressive is it not?" Tartarus snorted. "You do realize I can easily remake Deliora in a much-shorter time."

Mard Geer smiled. "Yes…but this allows us to actually make demons of humans instead of simply make demons in the Books of Zeref…even if they are less powerful. It opens up a world of opportunities. We can make an army of demons to attack Fiore and Alvarez. Zeref-sama will get his wish faster with this. We can conquer the world at a much faster rate!"

Tartarus snorted. "Just continue remaking Deliora…I have things to attend to."

Mard Geer sneered at Tartarus' back as he left. "Like relying on that Mito woman to catch Acnologia with her Bijuu? You really are weak if you are relying on her to capture your own pet."

Tartarus snorted. "Child…I could crush you where you stand. Acnologia is a slave…nothing more nothing less. When he and I are reacquainted, I shall show him no mercy. He shall be punished…no one escapes me."

"Lullaby…"

Tartarus snorted. "The least-useful demon in Zeref's arsenal? A human-made demon would be stronger than him, don't make me laugh. Get to work on training the new demons, Cobra and Midnight. I shall deal with the new Brain…is that understood?"

Mard Geer gave off a dark smile but nodded nonetheless. "Understood…boss."

Double update kinda...for two different stories. Anyways, as stated in my other story I updated, I apologize for the wait..I'm just having a real downer on inspiration which is just making me update the stories I feel like updating when I update them...this also involves the writing. That's the main reason why the side stories haven't reached up so high in chapters yet actually...anyways I hope you like this chapter. Later.
