Guest: I have my work cut out for me in this review. 1) Kaguya was an alien...not a Primordial. 2) Magic and chakra don't work the same way. Also, I never said when Naruto learned how to recreate the regular Rasengan in this story so what? 3) Because paying that much to go grocery shopping is stupid and I changed it. It likely costs less to actually do the shopping. Next. 4) Ace's up their sleeves that only allow one type of magic so they can't be very powerful. If Naruto could only use jutsu Kurama knew and Sasuke could only use jutsu his Sharingan allowed him to and neither could combine it with anything else they knew, Kaguya would have slapped them around like ragdolls. Hell they couldn't even have won. 5) Oh yes let's talk about Naruto's and Sasuke's ninja training. Something both of them ignored in canon for pulling out ridiculously massive-scale jutsu. They're not like Danzo who is much more ninja-like in his techniques. 6) I'm gonna assume you forgot the fact that the angel sent Naruto and Sasuke to Earthland...in their Genin bodies, to utilize a new energy source, with no idea where they were in the land. It bothers me that you ignore things I laid out quite clearly, despite the beginning chapters...rockiness.

Sorry about that guys. But I can't PM guests. I typically PM longer reviews.

Tartarus

Akira raised his hand, lightning flashing off of it in every direction as he was bombarded with flames, the lightning just barely managing to negate the flames rage. However, that wasn't the end of the assault. Akira immediately leapt upwards, the ground beneath his feet transforming into a massive pit of quicksand that kept on growing. Landing, Akira shot forwards, lightning coating his body as he carved through another torrent of fire.

The man smirked, slamming one of his many staves onto the ground, Akira suddenly unable to move. "What the hell," the teen cried, trying to force his body into action. The man smirked. Akira suddenly screamed, blades of wind slashing through skin, muscle, and tendons as the man forced the wind to coalesce around him like miniature blades. Akira snarled, his legs frozen in pain. The man allowed the wind to drop Akira then, his legs useless sacks of meat as he was now.

"You almost had me there," the man stated. "I'll deal with you in a second," he muttered, continuing his process of closing the tear in the sky. The man frowned however, before he glanced back at Akira, a glare on his face.

"You idiot," he muttered, glancing upwards. "What have you done," he said. Akira smirked, the device he held in his hands sending a stream of magic into the sky. "I realized that the tear was drawing in magic, so I simply did what was necessary."

The man snarled. "You don't understand! If I don't close that gap-"

"I don't care if you can't close the gap." Akira stated, thinking back to how he first met Mito. The woman had enslaved him, but he eventually ended up becoming loyal to her. He would follow her to the ends of the earth if he had to.

"I care about orders," Akira muttered as his body began to dissolve into particles of light and shoot into the sky. The man frowned, sighing as he rubbed his cloth-covered face. It wasn't the fact that Akira had been transported to Edolas, no the man didn't care about that. He cared about the fact the child had sent a beacon to Edolas, one that was unlikely to not be recognized. Edolas would know who it was that kept closing their tears if they didn't already, and that was not something that he wanted to happen.

Barakiel landed on top one of the multitude of platforms that sprung from the sides of tower, a frown on his face. He quickly glanced at one of the multiple Rune Knights already positioned and waiting for orders. "Activate the shield barriers and the scanners. Power thermo-generators and prepare anti-air and subterranean battle units!"

"Yes sir!"

As the agents rushed off Barakiel turned, frowning as a woman, one of his few equals stepped up to him. "Michelle Lobster," he stated, nodding to the woman. The one General, who despite being below him in rank, he still respected for her strength, but nothing more. The woman was...average to say the least, not what one would expect from someone of her power. She wasn't very tall, nor was she very short. Her hair was shoulder-length, and she wasn't very pretty, however she was not ugly either. She was just that...average. Her shirt was a plain one, lilac in color. Her pants, black, ended at her thighs, revealing drab socks that led to a rather boring pair of sneakers.

"Barakiel Katakana," Michelle muttered, nodding. "Why did you call me and Jiemma?"

"Yes," a man walking on stilts stated as he stood next to a silent, muscular man. "Why did you think it would be a good idea to use my prison as a the staging grounds for a war. I have already undergone the Lockdown Initiative due to the threat level you stated was on the way. The most dangerous criminals, including Jose Porla, are being moved deeper into the base."

"Possessive as ever Nez," Barakiel muttered. Nez snorted, his stilts shuffling slightly as he looked down on Barakiel. If he was without his stilts he wouldn't even reach the man's waist for Nez was a about the same height as Makarov. The man blew upwards slightly from his mouth at Barakiel's comment, the thick bang that hung down the middle of his forehead blowing upwards with the action.

"Yes yes, well it is my prison. I would enjoy not having it destroyed."

"They're on there way," a voice cracked through the conversation, all eyes turning to Jiemma. "You're sure." Jiemma glanced at them as if they were idiots, a condescending look on his face. "I suggest we retreat to a lower position."

"Wait," Barakiel stated, causing the three other adults to turn.

"What?" Barakiel frowned, glancing at Jiemma. "What do you mean, they're!" Jiemma blinked. "I can sense it, albeit barely. There are two massive energy signatures on their way here."

"Oh fuck me," Barakiel muttered. He glanced at Nez who sighed, pressing a button on the collar of his shirt, the loudspeakers all around The Compound lighting up. "Staff, move all prisoners to Lockdown Initiative. Then go to battle positions."

Barakiel sighed. "This is gonna be a bumpy ride." Barakiel glanced downwards, looking at the massive earthen mass below them. The most isolated place on Fiore was about to be attacked, and it would have to hold. Barakiel sighed as he and his group descended into the base, all feeling a weight on their shoulders.

"Why do I have a really bad feeling," Barakiel muttered.

"It's deserved," Michelle stated. "I can sense them now too, meaning they have to be getting closer much faster. Jiemma's range is much further than my own. There are much more than simply two energy signatures. There are elevent." Barakiel glanced at Jiemma, annoyed. Jiemma shrugged. "They must have been cloaked in the other two's energy signatures. Michelle has better sensing capabilities than me, despite me having a larger range."

"You do realize we'll be fighting more than one of them at once." Jiemma shrugged. Barakiel sighed. "Today just keeps getting better..."

"Four on eleven...can we beat them," Nez asked. Barakiel frowned, glancing at the weakest member of the four. "In all likelihood? No. One of us would have to take on nine of them in order to take on the only powerful two, and in all likelihood-"

"They wouldn't be coming back," Nez muttered, a frown on his face. "If anyone is going to sacrifice themselves, it's going to be me."

"No," Barakiel stated, the door to the elevator opening, letting the four walk out. "Jiemma, Nez, both of you handle the nine weaker members. Your magic's compliment each other, so in all likelihood you'll be capable of taking them down the fastest. Then rush to help us out. That is probably the best way to handle this situation. Until then Michelle and I should be able to hold off the other two at least."

Nez nodded, perfectly willing to comply with the plan, yet Jiemma frowned. "Why you and Michelle," Jiemma muttered. "Why can't I fight the strongest opponents?"

"We're stronger than you," Barakiel stated bluntly, ending any argument Jiemma may have had. Jiemma frowned but nodded nonetheless. Barakiel smiled, feeling explosions rain in the distance as cannons fired at the approaching threats. They had likely already breached the first shield by this point. A massive earthquake shook the base briefly, causing Nez to frown.

"The second barrier is down already?"

Barakiel frowned. "I told you, they're powerful. They tore through the barriers. Still, we should be capable of handling them."

"There's more energy signatures," Michelle stated, glancing up towards the ceiling. "What's going on! How are there so many more of them."

Nez frowned, swinging himself over to a computer. He quickly began typing furiously. In the distance another earthquake occurred, the final barrier falling. "What are you doing," Jiemma muttered. "Activating the traps," Nez muttered. "And I'm also manually firing the cannons," Nez muttered, quickly slamming down the space bar. A blast of magical energy shot towards the group, however the blast was suddenly redirected back at the cannon, causing it to explode.

Nez frowned as the screen went black before he shifted to a different cannon, firing only for the same result to occur, only this time, before the screen went blank the last barrier shattered. "Well this is troublesome," Barakiel muttered. "Don't worry," Nez stated. "I have a back up plan."

Barakiel raised an eyebrow, explosions heard not to far away as the group continued to destroy the cannons firing at them. Nez smirked, continuing to hammer away at the keyboard rapidly, activating some sort of initiative he had programmed into The Compound. "Call it a fail-safe, just in case the barriers ever fell. When the barriers are destroyed they release excess energy-"

Nez paused as an explosion shook the base, causing him to smirk. "They've found my traps," he stated, a smile on his face. He then glanced back at Barakiel before continuing his explanation. "Anyways, as I was saying, the barriers release excess energy when they're destroyed, likely the energy Michelle sensed. I can access this energy, and in turn use it to my advantage."

"How so," Michelle asked. Nez smirked. "I can forcibly create an action that is similar to that of an Explosive Lacrima. It's more powerful, although it isn't on the same level as an Ultra Concentrated Light Lacrima."

Barakiel smirked. "You're a genius Nez." Nez smirked. "Of course," the man stated, slamming on the space bar once more. A piercing sound rung throughout the area as magical outside gathered into a white ball before it erupted in a flash of searing light, the explosion surging through the underground base like an earthquake, rattling the entire group. They glanced up at the ceiling, their eyes wide.

"What happened?"

Nez smirked. "If I had to guess...I'd say I just blew up the equivalent of Magnolia."

"And the base is still standing," Michelle asked, confused. Nez nodded. "This base was built to last Michelle. Something as small-scale as this type of explosion wouldn't destroy it. An Ultra Concentrated Light Lacrima would probably damage it beyond repair however."

The group was going to continue talking, however another explosion racked the area. Barakiel frowned. "They'll be reaching us soon. Even your traps, while slowing them down, aren't stopping them Nez." Nez nodded. "I think the best thing to do here is to, in all likelihood, separate the groups. If we can push the weaker nine away from the two powerful ones, specifically into this room," Nez stated, pointing at a map, "I should be able to handle them by myself and Jiemma can assist you with the last two."

Barakiel glanced at Jiemma who nodded. "I understand. Help Nez get the seven weakest signatures into that room. Understood."

Barakiel sighed, glancing at the door. "I hope you all are ready." The remaining trio in the group nodded, causing Barakiel's eyes to harden, the door exploding off of it's hinges. "Don't let them take a step further down this path," Barakiel muttered. "They will not reach the bowels of this base!"

"Nice pep talk!" a voice called from the smoke. "Let's see if you can back it up ey?"

From the smoke a figure launched forwards, hand outreached towards Barakiel, yet the man was ready, sidestepping before he launched a lightning-enhanced punch into his assailants stomach sending him flying backwards.

"Restraint Jackal," Tartarus stated, the smoke clearing as his group entered. "You cannot beat that man." The creature, Jackal, frowned but nodded nonetheless. "He knows nothing of restraint," a strange creature stated, gray in color and quite large. The creature had four arms. "You're one to talk Ezel," a man stated. "Enough," Tartarus droned. "Handle them." The seven weakest members nodded, rushing forwards, however Michelle was already prepared for them, raising a hand.

Vines erupted from the floor, wrapping around the arms, legs, and throats of each assailant. Michelle smirked, clenching her fist, the vines tightening, however suddenly they were all cut to pieces. "You think something as pathetic as that can hold me," Ezel roared, rushing Michelle. "Please!" Michelle frowned, preparing another attack when Nez appeared in front of her, a smirk on his face as he raised one of his legs, the stilt flying upwards and smashing into Ezel's jaw. Ezel stumbled backwards annoyed, yet rushed forwards quickly again, two of his four arms cocked back in preparation. Nez frowned.

"It is time for you to bow before me. All of you," he muttered, the room erupting in flames. Explosions racked the room, sending the creatures flying away. "Now Barakiel!"

"Bolt Hammer!"

Barakiel cocked his hand back, a massive sphere of blue lightning crackling off of it, before he launched his arm forwards, a loud crack splitting through the heavily damaged room as his powerful lightning tore through the room with a roar, only for it to clash with another wall of electricity, the two forces cancelling each other out. "What," Barakiel asked.

"Master Tartarus was right, you will be a difficult opponent indeed," muttered another creature. "That attack was difficult to stop." Barakiel smirked. "Of course...so are you ready...demon?"

The creature roared, a powerful tornado shredding the room to pieces. "You have no idea how right you are," the man of the group muttered, freezing the tornado before he shattered it, the combination attacks sending projectiles of ice at the group of four. Nez prepared to counteract the attack, however before he could move Jiemma stepped in front of him, waving a hand towards the approaching shards of ice. Suddenly the very air erupted in a blast, destroying the shards of ice until they were nothing more than harmless pebbles. The man frowned.

"You know we never got your names," Barakiel muttered during the chaos.

"I suppose you didn't," the man stated. "I am Silver. My comrades here are, respectively, Jackal, Ezel, Kyoka, Seilah, Keyes, Franmalth, Torafuzar, Master Erebus, and Master Tartarus. My apologies for not telling you sooner," Silver stated, gesturing to each member when he mentioned their name. Barakiel smirked. "I assume you know all of us...otherwise you wouldn't be so confident in attacking us."

"Indeed," Tartarus stated, raising his hand, black flame wreathed around it like a halo. "Now...run."

Black flames surged from Tartarus' hand, enveloping the room in a black death, smoke filling the air. Barakiel frowned, quickly blasting a hole in the ceiling with lightning, shooting out of it. Tartarus was quick to follow, Michelle hot on the demons heels.

"Even Master Tartarus will struggle against such strength," Seliah muttered, frowning. Erebus nodded. "Do not worry, I will handle the woman. You nine kill these two," he stated, shooting into the sky, a strange, inky energy trailing after him. Nez glanced at Jiemma who nodded. The two then raised their hands, an explosion ripping forwards, sending the seven demons flying backwards. Jiemma shot forwards, grabbing Silver by the head, roaring as he released an explosion that should have killed the man. Yet the man shattered, ice flying everywhere. Jiemma's eyes widened, quickly detonating the pieces of ice by him to stop them from piercing his skin as they rushed towards him.

Silver smirked, glancing upwards. Jiemma followed his eyes, eyes wide as Kyoka descended, claws ready to rip out Jiemma's throat. Nez shot forwards, explosions allowing him to move faster, yet Jackal appeared in front of him, an excited look in his eyes. Nez frowned, waving a hand. "Out of my way," he muttered. He tapped Jackal, an explosion birthed upon contact, yet Jackal didn't move, grinning as Nez's eyes widened. "You'll have to do better than that," Jackal stated as he swiped downwards, narrowly missing Nez with his hand, yet the explosion that ripped from his hand sent Nez flying, a grunt escaping the mans lips as he impacted with something solid.

"Jackal can be quite the formidable opponent," Torafuzar stated, a tidal wave of black water surging towards Nez and slamming into him, sending him careening into a wall. Nez groaned, slowly standing.

'What the hell? Why am I so tired,' Nez questioned, managing to jump out of the water. Torafuzar smirked. "Do you feel it? The waters of Hades draining away all of your strength," he stated, the water rushing towards Nez. Nez growled, stomping on the ground, before he jumped away. He glanced to his side, Jiemma busy engaging Silver, Kyoka, Franmalth, and Keyes. That momentary distraction cost him, Jackal and Ezel leaping towards him. Nez frowned, grabbing Jackal, ignoring the biting pain as Jackal caused explosions, one of his arms forced away from the power of the explosion. Ezel leaped forwards, cocking his arm back before launching it forwards. Nez spun, with the use of an explosion, swinging Jackal into the line of fire. Jackal screamed, Ezel's arm shredding through his right arm. Nez smirked, releasing an explosion that sent both members of Tartarus flying away. Nez smirked, landing on a platform, smirking as the platform was rocked by the currents of the black water.

"Pesky little demons you are huh?"

Torafuzar roared, the water surging up towards Nez. Nez frowned, preparing to blast a hole through it when he saw the water rush forwards at even more frightening speeds. Nez's eyes widened. "That's not on time," he shouted, jumping away, barely dodging the cascade of black liquid. Nez glared at Torafuzar, angry at his supposed deceptiveness, yet Torafuzar shook his head.

"Not me," he muttered. Nez raised an eyebrow before he landed on a higher platform, eager to find who was responsible for the water. However, before he could do anything he jumped, plunging directly into the black liquid. Nez's eyes widened at the movement, unable to control his actions. Torafuzar glanced upwards, looking at the woman sitting on a large computer. "I didn't need your help you know Seliah?" Selijah glanced at him, her eyes leaving her book. "He was dealing with the three of you quite handily. I thought I might make myself known."

Torafuzar frowned, preparing to argue, but he was suddenly knocked over, a sudden force hitting him. He groaned, pushing the body off of him. His eyes widened, Franmalth slowly rising. "What are you doing you idiot," Torafuzar muttered. Franmalth pointed at Jiemma, who quickly caused an explosion before Keyes' wave of energy, jumping towards Franmalth. "Die!"

Franmalth snarled, his arms launching forwards, nearly grabbing Jiemma, yet the explosions Jiemma caused right in front of them forced them backwards with the sheer force. Jiemma then landed in front of the duo, his arms coated in purple magic. Torafuzar launched himself forwards, black water coating his arms as he rocketed himself forwards. Jiemma launched his punches, the explosions cloaking the duo in smoke.

"Well what are you waiting for, don't wait on them!" Kyoka called, preparing to launch herself into the smoke. Yet before she had the chance from the black liquid Nez appeared, lashing out with a kick that sent her flying into the ceiling. Nez was panting however, and Silver took advantage of that, freezing him solid before Jackal and Ezel launched themselves towards his body, fully intending to finish him off. Yet from the smoke Jiemma shot forwards, grabbing Jackal and Ezel and releasing a monstrous explosion that cloaked the entire room in smoke. However, in his haste to save Nez's life, Nez plummeted back into the water. Yet the water and ice worked against each other, freeing Nez from his icy-prison as he crawled to safety. Nez panted, using the smoke as a cover to regain his breath.

'Shit, even though Jiemma seems to be handling them I'm still on the defensive. One of them seems to be capable of controlling body movement, another water that drains you and doesn't allow you to use magic, one with explosions, one with arms that are like blades, one that can cause tornadoes and electricity...what the hell is this! Their abilities are too versatile. If only we could force them into the torture room!'

The smoke slowly began to clear, being filtered through the several holes in the room. Nez stood, glancing around before he shot to the side, not using his magic out of fear of being detected. He managed to sneak up behind the group of nine, raising his hand. "Full Panorama Bomb!" The nine members turned, surprised at the sudden use of magic, desperately trying to avoid the hundreds of spheres that rushed towards them, however they couldn't all avoid in time, the bombs exploding and sending all nine members flying backwards, where Jiemma was waiting. Jiemma raised a hand, striking a squatting position while Nez did the same. "Unison Raid: Nuclear Launch!" The mages cried, their magic's joining together to create an absolutely massive explosion that tore the confined room to shreds, even evaporating the black liquid. Nez and Jiemma took advantage of the attack, launching themselves towards the plummeting members of the Nine Demon Gates.

Nez roared, releasing another wave of bombs, Jiemma cocking his arms back. "Twin Dragon Roar!" Two chains of explosions rocketed forwards, slamming into the demons before Nez's attack did, the combination of explosions generating another round of explosions. As the fall came to an end Nez smirked, their plan having worked. The explosions managed to destroy several floors of infrastructure, putting them at the torture room. Jiemma waited however, the duo wanting to make sure that their attacks had worked successfully.

As the smoke cleared the duo were greeted by an awful sight. Each, and every member of the Nine Demon Gates, bar the man, now looked completely different. However, it was not simply their looks that had changed, their magic levels had skyrocketed, each one equal or above Nez on their own. Nez's eyes widened. "I...did not anticipate this," he muttered. "Still think you can handle them," Jiemma asked, not prepared to leave Nez to a likely quick and brutal death.

"Help would be appreciated," Nez said, beads of sweat coming down his brow. Kyoka stepped forwards, waving her arms forwards. "What's wrong? You seem afraid. Can you not handle, the sensation of our power," the female demon cried. However, as she finished her sentence Nez and Jiemma roared in pain, their bodies erupting in a blinding sensation of pain, literally. Both of them could not longer see. Kyoka laughed, waving her hands towards the remaining members of the Nine Demon Gates. "Don't bother staying here," she stated. "I can handle the both of them by myself now. Don't worry, it will all be over in a flash."

"No," Jackal stated, his bestial form only making his rage that much more palpable. He glanced at his useless arm that hung by his side. "I want to shred the small one to pieces, and then blow him to even smaller pieces!"

Kyoka frowned at Jackal's direct disobedience, but nodded nonetheless. She understood his rage, he had lost an arm due to the small one forcing him into Ezel...that was something she definitely wouldn't want to happen to her. "Over in a flash," Nez choked out, his eyes slowly opening. "You're right...it will all be over...in...a-"

"Shut up," Kyoka stated, intensifying their senses, causing both Jiemma and Nez to continue experiences seizures of pain. Jackal laughed as he walked over to Nez. "It's almost to easy...I almost feel bad for slaughtering you like this! Now...time to die!"

Jackal thrust his clawed paw forwards, yet suddenly the room erupted in a flash of light before an explosion rocked the area, sending the Nine Demon Gates skidding backwards.

"What?" The demons looked upwards, their eyes widening as the wall behind them seemingly disappeared, electricity trickling in place. The demons watched in awe as black flames surged forwards, yet a wall of vines shot from below, taking the flames and managing to hold them back, albeit the intertwining vines had to create numerous layers to fend off the fiery attack. Yet the vines were soon swallowed by a wave of darkness, that clashed with bright blue lightning, a cry of "Bolt Hammer!" thundering through the room.

"They're really going at it huh," Tempester stated. "We should try and help," Torafuzar stated. Kyoka shook her head. "Despite our unique capabilities we couldn't defeat either that woman or the Etherion. Even with the nine of us together it took our Etherious forms to defeat this two. If any of us were alone I don't think we could have defeated either of these two."

"I could have done it!" Jackal roared. Silver snorted, gaining Jackal's ire. "What is that supposed to mean, human?" Silver glared at Jackal, ice beginning to form on his fingertips. "It means that even with help you got injured the worst, dumbass."

Jackal looked prepared to attack Silver, yet suddenly he snapped towards Kyoka, their eyes widening as she screamed, Jiemma and Nez grabbing her throat. "Unison Raid: Rupture!" Nez let Jiemma guide his magic, the duo setting off an explosion from within Kyoka's throat, blood flying everywhere. Jiemma and Nez didn't waste time however, moving instantly, realizing they had to attack the most dangerous members of the group, which were mainly the two females of the group. Seilah's eyes widened, yet she was prepared, halting both of their movements, however Jiemma and Nez were expecting this, releasing their explosions at the same time, cloaking the area in smoke as to stop her from seeing where their next strike would come from. The explosion broke Seilah's concentration, Jiemma rushing towards her. However, Torafuzar expected the strike, and moved to intercept Jiemma's punch. Jiemma smirked. "As expected," his arm being cloaked in purple magic energy. Torafuzar smirked, preparing himself for the blow as the explosion rocked the entire room. Seilah smirked, snapping her fingers, however as she did so a trigger beneath her feet erupted, an explosion blasting into her.

Seilah skidded backwards, burn marks on her skin. Snarling she snapped her fingers again, hearing grunts. She smirked, the smoke around her clearing, to reveal Jiemma and Nez unable to move. She smirked, making each one grab their throats.

"Bye now," she said. However, before the duo caused their own throats to explode with their magic, the room suddenly opened up several tubes, releasing a pink gas into the room. Seilah raised an eyebrow. "Care to explain, Nez?" Nez tried to resist her command, yet her magic forced his response from him. "They're explosive gas. The second you breathe them in they're supposed to fill your body and with a single cue of my magic...explode. My ultimate failsafe."

Seilah raised an eyebrow. "Oh, that is quite dangerous...Silver!"

"Already on it," the man called, waving his hand, causing the pink gas to freeze solid. Nez groaned, causing Seilah to smile. "Well now, I guess we win." However, before Seilah could do anything Jackal exploded, the entirety of his damaged arm being blown off, and his chest severely damaged. Seilah's eyes widened, however Jackal was not the only one that exploded, Ezel erupting in a massive explosion, although due to not being nearly as heavily injured as Jackal he managed to withstand the attack. Seilah turned, glaring at Nez, who was laughing. "What's so funny!"

"Any physical contact with my body," Nez muttered as Jackal fell to the ground, unconscious. "Any physical contact with my body allows me to place a timer on you. When that timer winds down...boom, I don't even need to be alive for it to work either." Seilah smirked. "It's a good thing that you're going to die without touching the rest of us then," she stated. Nez laughed again, causing her to narrow her eyes. This time however she didn't have to order him to explain to her what was going on, as an explosion ripped into existence right in front of her, sending her flying backwards. "Jiemma can pretty much do the same," he stated, laughing. However, before either of them could attack Seliah they were forced to dodge, a wave of black particles flying passed their previous positions.

"What," Nez hissed, looking at the energy. "That can't be what I think it is!" Jiemma frowned. "I'm afraid it is. Magical Barrier Particles," he muttered, glaring at Keyes. "That skeleton-puppet man can use them to their fullest capability it seems."

"Indeed I can," Keyes stated, the Magical Barrier Particles floating around him like a blanket. With a mere wave of his hand they shot forwards, like a tsunami descending upon the duo. Nez and Jiemma prepared to avoid the attack, however a roar caused them to turn, their eyes widening as a literal tsunami of black water, courtesy of Torafuzar, descended upon them. The duo nodded, dashing away from the attacks, splitting the demons attention. Keyes sent another wave of Magical Barrier Particles towards Jiemma, yet the man was ready, forming a purple magical aura him and leaping through the attack, managing to fend off the particles long enough for him to pierce through it despite his aura being significantly drained. Jiemma raised his hand, purple magic crackling off of it.

With a cry of effort he swung it downwards, fully expecting it to send Keyes hurtling into the ground, however instead a wall of ice shattered due to the ensuing explosion, causing him to frown. Jiemma followed up immediately however, thrusting his hands downwards and launching a series of explosions towards Keyes that simultaneously propelled him upwards. Keyes managed to weather the blow, yet he seem slightly injured. Jiemma frowned, raising his hands and forming a hammer fist, purple magic glowing around it. He swung his attack, yet it detonated prematurely when Tempester collided with it, a cyclone surrounding him and sending both of them flying away. Jiemma snarled, launching several blasts of explosive magical energy, yet Silver raised an ice wall, smirking before he gathered his magic. "Ice Devil's Rage!"

A massive, purple blizzard of cold air and ice spun towards Jiemma, causing the man to frown. He could sense the power behind that attack and knew he couldn't take it head on, or block it, and expect to be able to continue fighting efficiently. Instead he caused countless numbers of explosions to stall the attack, allowing him the time required to avoid the blast. Yet he was unable to counterattack, Tempester immediately on him, his arms cloaked in raging infernos. Jiemma smirked, cloaking his arms in magic energy as the duo clashed fists, releasing massive explosions of flame, light, and smoke. The duo continued this song and dance, each attempting to press the advantage over one another. However, Tempester, clearly not as well adapted to close-combat fighting as Jiemma, overextending one of his punches, and Jiemma pressed his advantage. Swatting Tempester's punch away, and in turn causing an explosion that swung his arm outwards, Jiemma launched himself forwards, a punch slamming into Tempester's exposed chest. An explosion ripped into existence, burning Tempester's chest, yet Jiemma wasn't finished, grabbing Tempester and lifting him up, despite the demon being a behemoth in size, almost as large as Ezel before he unleashed his power.

"Liger Bomb!"

Jiemma slammed Tempester into the ground, detonating the wreath of magic he had formed around the two of them. The around them shattered, however Tempester's allies would not allow him to be manhandled so easily, sending their own attacks towards the smoke. A grunt of pain let them know that their attacks hit their mark, Jiemma being sent flying from the combination of smoke and Magical Barrier Particles, bleeding heavily on his right arm, a spear of ice sticking out of it.

Meanwhile, Nez managed to avoid another wave of black liquids from Torafuzar, yet Ezel was immediately there, swiping his arms downwards in a savage strike that slammed into Nez's chest, a flurry of blood spurting over Ezel. "Onimaru!"

Nez growled in irritation rolling over to his side, almost tempted to detonate the bomb Ezel had caused right there, but he knew he needed to hold out just long enough to take down at least that demon, preferably the other two as well, before Seliah came back from her fall in order to give Jiemma a fighting chance. Speaking of the other two, Torafuzar sent another wave of water towards Nez, who managed to bisect it down the middle with his explosions. However, Nez didn't get any breathing room as Franmalth shot forwards, the demon looking eerily similar to Jiemma as he cocked back his hand, his own vile purple energy cloaking his hand. Nez snorted, swinging one of his legs upwards, explosions trailing after the tip of his tilts as he moved his leg in a circular motion.

"Time Lock."

Franmalth shot into the smoke, reaching towards Nez's throat, however an explosion ripped out just as Franmlath entered, sending the demon flying away. Nez smirked, launching himself towards the demon a cyclone of explosions detonating around him as he swung his legs rapidly, concealing his position from Ezel.

"Nice try," Ezel muttered. "Juzumaru!" Ezel swung his arms violently, a powerful shockwave of cutting power ripping forwards, shredding the floor and walls of the massive room to pieces. The shockwave managed to even tear through Nez's explosive cyclone, however it didn't matter as Nez had reached Franmalth already, swinging his stilts downwards. The first stilt slammed into Franmalth's head, an explosion occurring before the second one slammed repeated the action, forcing Franmalth into the ground. Nez however didn't wait for anyone to interfere with his attack, raising his hands and swinging them downwards. "Nuclear Wave!"

A series of massive explosions ripped forwards into Franmalth sending the demon into the flooring tiles. Franmalth tried to move, however Nez quickly sealed the crater, trapping Franmlath in an underground tome. However, Nez had no time to celebrate his victory, Ezel lashing out with another speedy attack with his four arms, four shockwaves released as he swung them outwards. Nez's eyes widened, before he caused explosions at his feet, the enhanced movement due to the force allowing him to barely avoid the attacks. Yet Torafuzar was upon him instantly, launching a punch that Nez couldn't block, the punch slammed into his chest, breaking two ribs before sending him flying away. Nez skidded across the ground before he landed, coughing up blood. He turned, his eyes widening as two tentacles slammed into the ground before him, Ezel reeling himself in. Nez cursed, raising a hand. "Bomb Stamp!" he cried as Ezel smashed down on him, a marker place on his chest, yet Ezel was now on top of Nez, and the weight of the burden was slowly suffocating him.

"Any last words," Ezel stated, lowering his hands to Nez's neck. Nez couldn't speak, however he reached out with his magic, pulling upon the many triggers in the room around him, smiling as the floor tiles opened up next to him, revealing to large cannons that slowly lifted themselves from the ground.

Ezel's eyes widened before powerful bolts of magic lanced through him, shaking him violently. Ezel jumped away from Nez, landing on his tentacles as he glared at the small man-child. Torafuzar snarled, swirling water all around him into an orb before he sent it flying towards Nez, the condensed water exploding outwards into an even larger tsunami. Nez snarled, raising a hand, a blade of explosive energy cloaking it.

"Explosion Blade!"

Nez swiped down, the massive blade of explosive energy carving through the black water, the water being funnel towards the fall, pouring over the edge. Nez smirked, thrusting forwards with his blade, yet Torafuzar was prepared, leaping forwards. Air shot from the many holes on his body, causing his body to harden. Nez's eyes widened as the massive explosion and cutting power of the blade barely affected Torafuzar, who stood scratching his stomach with a smirk on his face.

"What?" Torafuzar laughed. "That couldn't pierce my hide! I have the highest defensive power on the Nine Demon Gates!" Nez cursed, jumping away as Torafuzar leapt forwards, smashing the ground with a punch.

"Don't forget about me," Ezel roared, leaping into the air after Nez. "I have the highest cutting power of the Nine Demon Gates." Ezel swirled his blades, "Mikazuki!"

Ezel swung his arms, their forms losing definition to Nez's eyes as they became blurs, crescent-shaped shockwaves carving through the air towards him. Nez cursed, waved his tilts once more. "Bomb Storm!" Nez released a multitude of bombs towards the shockwaves, however he could only watch in horror as the shockwaves carve right through them, shredding into his chest and arms, sending him flying to the ground. Groaning Nez began to rise, however he immediately retreated, ignoring the burning pain in his body as Ezel slashed into where he once was standing. Nez continued to retreat as Ezel hastily gave chase, shockwaves ripping through the air. Torafuzar growled, trying to help Ezel, yet the demons frantic slashes made it more likely that he would hit his ally before he hit Nez. Torafuzar slowly began to move behind Nez, smirking. The second Nez shot through the smoke, somehow still there after Nez's Time Lock spell, he would get a fist to the skull, which would skewer the man onto Ezel's blades, ending this fight.

Nez saw the approaching smoke, smirking before he flipped over it, his smirk widening into a full blown smile as Ezel swung an arm through it, trying to blow it away. However, instead of blowing the smoke away a power explosion merely ripped into Ezel's arm, heavily damaging it. "What?" Ezel roared, crying out in pain. Nez smirked. "Time Lock doesn't stop acting as my bomb just because I used it once. It's an infinite loop of explosions as long as you're in the smoke!" Ezel roared, jumping towards Nez, his four arms raised.

"Enough gimmicks, enough traps, you die now! Onimaru!"

Nez smirked, preparing to dodge, yet his eyes widened as he heard a heavy footstep behind him. Torafuzar had cocked back his punch, preparing to slam it into Nez's spine. "He's right! You lose!"

The combination attack was perfectly timed, there was nothing Nez could have done to avoid as he alone was not fast enough to dodge both attacks. Yet he didn't need to be, an explosion rocketing to his side, hurting him but also blasting him out of harms way. The demon's eyes widened, their attacks already to far in motion for either of them to stop.

Nez laughed. "Let's see which is more powerful shall we? The highest defensive power or the highest cutting power!"

Torafuzar and Ezel screamed in pain, the two attacks clashing together. Torafuzar's armor was shredded through, his entire left arm flying off, however Ezel fared no better, his four arms broken. Nez smirked. "Checkmate," he called, releasing the explosive timers on Ezel and Torafuzar at the same time, smiling as two of Ezel's arms were ripped off from the sheer power of the explosion and his chest dyed red with his own blood. Torafuzar's right arm exploded, however compared to the damage done to Ezel the effect was minimal.

However, Nez's goal had been accomplished. Franmalth was buried under rubble, Ezel was unconscious due to blood loss and pain and was likely to die soon if nothing was done to help him. Torafuzar was to crippled to be of much use, the powerful demon barely standing. However, Nez, despite his exhaustion couldn't afford to rest. He, like Torafuzar was on his last legs, but the enemy had the numbers advantage, and Jiemma was in trouble, being just pinned to the wall with ice sticking out of his right arm.

Nez prepared to take off to help Jiemma when his body locked up. He cursed, his body turning to come face-to-face with a furious Seilah. "Damn...I wasn't able to free up Jiemma," he muttered. Seilah snarled, magic energy coalescing at her hand. "Oh don't worry, I'll kill him soon enough," Seilah hissed with venom. A kanji swirled around her hand, a third eye growing on her palm, releasing a massive blast of energy directly at Nez that swallowed him whole.

Seliah smirked at the crumpled, defeated form of Nez. She was a tad surprised that he managed to survive, likely using his explosions to divert some of the blast around him, and seemed like he would make a full recovery if he was allowed to live despite the severity of his injuries.

"You are worth more praise than I initially thought," Seliah muttered, a smirk on her face. She raised her hand, magic cloaking it before she thrust downwards. The hand would have cleaved straight through Nez's head if it weren't for Silver's mutilated body being slamming into her. Seliah's eyes widened as she withstood the toss, throwing Silver to the grown in haughty annoyance.

She glanced upwards, her eyes widening as the powerful cloak of magic surrounding Jiemma. It was thick and oppressive the magic so dense and powerful that even Keyes Magical Barrier Particles couldn't break through them. Instead it looked like the particles were being pushed back if that was possible. Seliah warily took a step backwards. Jiemma roared, his magic reaching outwards as if they had tendrils, causing massive explosions across the entirety of the area. Keyes was suddenly blown backwards the magic assaulting him almost instantly. Jiemma didn't give him the chance to rise, using explosions to rocket his body over to Jiemma, for Seliah had tried to control him. He landed above the injured Demon, using his magic to rocket his arm backwards before he used it to launch his fist forwards. The blow smashed into Keyes' body, causing it to rupture dangerously as explosions swarmed him cloaking the duo in smoke despite the intensity of Jiemma's magic cloak. Seliah frowned, releasing her own magic in a burst to send the smoke flying away. She didn't want Jiemma trying to use any advantages, even with her technically under control of his actions.

She couldn't really control him anyways. Her power allowed her to completely overpower one's own bodily functions, with few limitations. Jiemma however was proving there to be a massive loophole in her Curse, as he was moving his body with sheer explosive force. However she noticed the sweat on his body, even if it was evaporating due to the intense heat of his magic. This form exhausted him, and with the heat could only amplify the process in which he'd be wearing himself out. Seliah smirked, raising a hand. If she could just withstand his overwhelming power for long enough, he'd take himself out.

Yet apparently the world wasn't on her side as Jiemma used the explosive force to launch himself out of one of the many holes in the building, to join the fray against her masters. "What?" She frowned, infuriated at her opponent for taking her so lightly, yet she soon realized why as the entire room she was in went up in flames, searing her body badly. She screamed, explosions ringing throughout the entire base. She turned, using her magic to shield off as many hazards as she could, looking at Nez in fury.

"What did you do!"

Nez only laughed. "This is it," he cried, a deranged smile wracking his figure. "This is how I die! Bringing down nine sons of bitches with me!" Seliah snarled, trying to fly out of the building, however she was forced to avoid the copious amounts of falling debris in the process. She managed to avoid it for a while, but eventually it became to much. She shook her head in disbelief. This much debris wasn't possible even with how large the room was. She glared back at the crazed Nez who was laughing himself into insanity on the floor. She couldn't believe it. What type of jailer would plant such large-scale bombs, likely Ultra Concentrated Light Lacrima, on so many floors of the prison? One was enough to absolutely demolish the building, but with this many the result was obvious...everyone inside the building, including herself, the prisoners, and Nez himself, would die.

She snarled, launching her magic power upwards, destroying the incoming debris, only for it to be replaced almost instantaneously, with more. She looked towards other holes in the room, but found herself trapped, the copious amounts of debris already sealing off the majority of the exits. Seliah sighed, inhaling smoke before she shot her power outwards in a beam, shredding through a wall and creating a massive hole. She smirked, rushing towards freedom and safety, however suddenly her world was encompassed by a bright light and then it went dark.

All she could hear was Nez's voice laughing in the destruction, claiming it to be "Right on time."

People keep asking me if Naruto and Sasuke will be too OP by the end of the story and I feel like I've created a problem with hyping up the bad guys and good guys late-level power so let me clarify for the sake of clarification. They won't be. I keep hyping up the power of Naruto and Sasuke and people are thinking they're like cataclysmic levels. They're not. Any character in this story can be killed by a mage of lower rank if they are well-prepared enough, lucky enough, have a countermeasure, good teamwork, etc, etc. A multitude of reasons can cause the death of a mage of higher rank by a lower one. There will be no mages flattening entire armies in my story, that's simply not a thing. It won't end up being like Madara vs. that entire unit of shinobi in Naruto. Don't get me wrong, Naruto and Sasuke could cause fuck-tons of casualties, however late-game villains will be much more strategic about handling Naruto's and Sasuke's destructive power. You're already seeing how one early late-to-late-stage villain is handling that already. Few to none mages in this story will have the sheer destructive capability Naruto and Sasuke do because they don't need it. When I finish introducing the Four Gods of Ishgar you will see that many of them, bar God Serena for obvious reasons, don't rely on destructive ability. They have it in spades, but destructive capability isn't enough to wipe out a well-prepared army in my story, it just isn't. 3 characters I think is the max that will be capable of army-wiping, and that's because of the specific set of abilities that they have. Zeref and Naruto are obviously on that list due to their respective techniques. The third one is actually a group, and that's essentially the Bijuu because they've never been seen before and have a very big bag of tricks. They won't be too OP. Late-stage battles won't be about who can pull more bullshit out of their ass, it will be about skill. With some bullshit thrown in here or there.

Lastly, if you're wondering why I didn't do a lot of descriptions this chapter (especially for character's who don't have a canon Etherious form), well that'd just be to much so I took it out. You'll see them later.

PS: Michelle Lobster is not an OC. She's from a filler arc...but technically so is Daphne so bite me.

PPS: So I got a notification that somebody was displeased with my story. They told me I had a couple contradictions in my writing (and if you've noticed those PLEASE notify me. I didn't finish planning before I wrote this story considering it's my first so it's entirely plausible) among other things. I appreciated their feedback, and I do want honest feedback from all of you guys so please remember to review, review, review. Think of it this way: Without you telling me how awesome I am or how much I suck...I'm not gonna actually get any better...

Which sucks for all of us.
