Wizard vs Wizard

Naruto grunted as he saw Makarov and the rest of the guild arrive. "Where is everybody else?"

"Recovering," Makarov stated. "Laxus decided to be a fool and the majority of the guild was harmed. I'll tell both of you about it later. How are both of you?"

"Pretty bored," Naruto responded. "We've mainly just been relaxing since we finished the construction of the new Domus Flau."

"Naruto!"

Naruto rolled his eyes, dodging Natsu's flaming fist. "Fight me!"

"No," Naruto muttered, lazily kicking the Dragon Slayer away. Natsu easily flipped in the air, landing on his feet to blanch at Naruto.

"But I'll be more of a match this time! I fought Laxus really well!"

"You fought Laxus? Why?"

"Master will explain later," Erza stated, walking up to Naruto. The duo smiled, embracing each other in a tight hug. They hadn't had much time to just be together, and they were desperate for any that they could get. Natsu frowned, annoyed that his mentor was being stolen, before turning his attention to Sasuke. The Uchiha didn't both acknowledging him, off talking with Mira and Gajeel to the side.

Natsu heard a snort, turning to look at Azuma who stood there, not being close to any particular member of the guild. Natsu grinned walking up to him."Well you'll fight me sometime right? I heard you were fighting Laxus at a fairly even footing so you'll be a good measuring stick."

Azuma snorted again. At his current level of strength only three of the people here were actual threats to him, and the Dragon Slayer was not one of them. Makarov rolled his eyes at the antics of his guild, turning his attention to the two Generals standing behind Naruto and Sasuke.

"Wolfhiem, Draculos."

The duo nodded back at Makarov. The rest of the Fairy Tail members who were not Wizard Saints then turned to the Generals, seemingly finally taking in their presence. The elderly man was normal but when they turned and saw him they wondered how they hadn't noticed him earlier. His hair was well-kept but crooked, it's dark purple shade sickly. His mustache was short, too short yet managed to perfectly cover his top lip. His glowing red eyes was only matched by the glowing red tattoo on his forehead. Right next to it were two unnaturally sharp ears, one's sharper than even Natsu's or Gajeel's. That plus his old school baron-like getup was unnerving. The fact that light seemed to bend away from him and he was so much darker than the elderly man next to him just made him...wrong.

"Who are they master," Erza asked, tense. Makarov glanced at the duo who sighed.

"Wolfhiem," the elderly man stated. "General of the Magic Council. Supervisor to the blonde idiot."

"Draculos Hyberion. General of the Magic Council. Supervisor to one Sasuke Uchiha."

"Damn," Natsu muttered. "When master said you two had supervisors that were Generals he wasn't kidding. They're big stuff. I'm sure you guys are strong, especially you Creepybion! Let's fight!"

"Creepybion?"

Erza grabbed Natsu's head, slamming it into the ground with a blush on her face. "Forgive him, he's a fool. He meant no disrespect General!"

Draculos was completely silent, seemingly confused but otherwise unbothered by the situation.

"Did that idiot really think he could fight a General when he can't even beat the blonde," Gajeel whispered to Gray.

"Natsu knows he won't win. He just likes to fight." Gray decided not to mention the fact that he definitely could see Natsu beating Draculos if he was on Naruto's real level of strength, but that was irrelevant for multiple reasons.

"Typical Fairy Tail mages," Woflhiem stated. "Rowdy, disobedient, and entirely too beholden to your idea of friendship."

Gray, Erza, and Natsu bristled glaring at the elderly man but Makarov raised a hand silencing all of them. Wolfhiem smirked but Makarov glared at the man. The message was received loud and clear.

"They are how I like them yes," Makarov muttered. The elderly man turned, looking at his guild members still participating in the tournament. "Are you two ready?"

Naruto and Sasuke both paused, ending their conversations briefly to look at Makarov. A look of determination filled their eyes, clenching their fists the message Makarov was trying to send clearly being received. They knew what they were there to do. Winning the tournament was just a bonus victory, their real reason for being here was to send a message to Mito Uzumaki. Naruto nodded, as did Sasuke.

"Completely," the duo hissed.

Mito smirked as she saw down in her hotel, content to stare out the window towards the rebuilt Domus Flau.

"Well...what do you think?"

Matatabi frowned, looking at the woman confused.

"Do you think it's a suitable arena for your clash with Sasuke and Naruto?"

Matatabi snorted. "That thing won't be able to handle my full power. The civilians will die."

Mito rolled her eyes. "Yes I don't doubt it."

Matatabi frowned. "Why are you bringing us back?"

She got a raised brow in response. "I'm not exactly sure I understand what you're asking."

"Why bring the Bijuu back for your revenge. You already have your own Magic, and then access to a fraction of all of our abilities. So why bring us back? All to get revenge on someone who isn't Hashirama?"

Mito glared at the Nibi, a rage on her face the Bijuu hadn't seen in a long time. Briefly she wondered if she had overstepped her bounds, but Mito answered the question anyways.

"Hashirama is someone I can never see again," Mito explained. "I'll never be able to show him the pain he inflicted upon me. Never be able to show Madara how much he harmed my future happiness. Sasuke and Naruto are reincarnations of those two. I may never be able to show the men themselves, but I'm entirely capable of having their descendants face my wrath in their stead."

"Doesn't that sound, I don't know, petty?"

"Did I ask for your opinion Nibi?"

Matatabi was silent.

"Remember your mission. Dismissed."

Matatabi frowned but nodded turning on her heel towards the door. She knew her mission. Kill the two Wizard Saints she would be fighting in the tournament. With them lacking access to their full power and her being ordered to go all out it would be easy but she'd do it regardless.

"Hello everyone," the ref called at the packed Domus Flau. "We apologize for the brief intermission of the tournament. The actions of a certain two Wizard Saints caused us to delay the events more than we truly wanted to. However I hope you're all excited to see it continue. I'm sure I don't need to reintroduce the contestants to you do I!"

The roar heard by the crowd confirmed that he did not. The ref smirked, turning to his contestants. "Alright then, let us get Naruto Uzumaki of Fairy Tail and Jura Neekis to the battlefield! Everyone else, please return to the waiting booth."

As Sasuke and Naruto left the duo nodded at each other. They understood what their purpose was here. Win. Naruto glanced to his opponent, a fellow Wizard Saint. He couldn't take Jura lightly. The man was strong, and undoubtedly a serious threat. Of course he was still significantly stronger than him, but taking him lightly was out ofthe question.

"I must admit that I'm quite honored to be fighting you," Jura stated. Naruto tilted his head slightly confused. Jura smirked. "I thought I was powerful before, but then I felt it. The strength of yourself and Sasuke Uchiha. If you two are not considered the strongest Wizard Saints then I truly fear for the monsters that reside in Fiore. It was both humbling and inspiring," Jura stated, shrugging off the overcoat he wore over his outfit. "I have trained relentlessly since that day to try and close the gap. I must admit I'm glad you and Sasuke-dono destroyed the Domus Flau, it gave me time to close the gap."

"Oh," Naruto stated. "You think you've closed the gap? That we haven't been training since that day?"

Jura smirked. "We shall find out won't we?"

Naruto smirked. Jura's smirk turned into a full blown grin, spinning his staff before he stabbed it into the ground, a yellow aura exploding forth as he called upon his magic. Naruto was quick to react, the golden highlight of Meteor covering his body before he disappeared in a burst of speed. Jura didn't even blink as his stone towers he called upon smashed into the ground where Naruto once was, his eyes tracking the blonde all the while.

Naruto shot by in the sky, a smirk on his face.

"That all you got?"

"Not at all," Jura stated. "Please, allow me to show you exactly what I mean Naruto-dono!"

The yellow energy around him intensified, four large arms made of stone soaring towards the sky to punch Naruto. The blonde smirked, effortlessly weaving between the large attacks, only for his eyes to widen as he saw the flash of yellow energy between the cracks of the rock, the stony arms exploding in a deluge of earth. Naruto tried his best to avoid all of the large stones, but no matter how hard he tried he couldn't avoid them all. A couple smashed into him, knocking him to the ground.

Cries came from the stands, undoubtedly the cries from his friends and fans but the blonde shrugged them off. He had to focus on what was coming next. Stones sprouted from the ground around him smashing into his body and pinning him in a massive tower of stone. The blonde grunted, beginning to gather the energy required to shatter his prison only for his eyes to widen as he saw two shadows envelop him. Jura had created two massive hands of stone on the sides of the tower.

"Supreme King Rock Crush!"

Naruto's eyes closed as he felt the pain of being crushed under the tons of rock on his body as the hands squeezed into him. Before he could react the rocks exploded in a deluge of yellow energy, causing him to grumble. As the smoke from the explosion cleared Naruto was standing, clearly in pain but still functioning.

"You done?"

"I'm afraid not. I do not believe I can take any risks against someone of your caliber."

Naruto blinked only for his eyes to widen as he saw the spears of rock shooting at him. The blonde grunted.

"Prick," he muttered, the golden light enveloping him before he moved, disappearing in a burst of speed that surprised even Jura. His surprise attack had been completely avoided, the blonde already high in the air.

"He's faster than I thought...and I don't believe this is his full speed." Jura shook his head. "I knew he would be difficult when we started this fight. I have to trap him and defeat him."

"You know I can hear you right?"

Jura's eyes widened. That made no sense! The blonde was far to far away to hear him talking. How could he? He wasn't yelling.

"I control wind Jura remember that, I can magnify just how far the sound waves carry in the air."

Jura's eyes widened before he grinned. "Impressive. In that case I can't reveal any more of my strategy."

"You've revealed enough," Naruto roared. "It's my turn now!"

Before Jura had any time to react a Thunder God Kunai was in Naruto's hand and he was shooting towards him, a golden blur descending from the heavens. Suddenly Jura realized why the technique was called Meteor. Naruto shot downwards, his spinning kick shattering the rock wall Jura rose to defend himself, however the force behind the technique was gone. Stone hands reached up to attempt to grab Naruto only for the blonde to vanish in a crack of yellow, his sheer speed replicating his teleportation technique.

Naruto smirked, raising his hands to the sky. "Pleiades!"

Jura's eyes widened as he saw the six beams of light that descended from the sky all seeking to strike him. With a thrust of his staff an earthen dome surrounded him, weathering the attack with only a few dents to show for his effort. Naruto frowned.

"I still haven't made you move," he muttered, forming a Rasengan. "Let me fix that."

Naruto shot forwards, reaching forwards to drill his attack into the dome only for his eyes to widen as the area where he was going to strike suddenly opened up, revealing Jura pointing his staff directly at him.

"Rockstorm!"

Naruto grunted as a storm of earth smashed into his stomach, sending him flying backwards. With a grunt he bounced off of the ground, glancing up to glare at Jura only for his eyes to widen as the very shield around Jura glowed with a yellow energy and flew towards him.

"Oh fuck this," the blonde muttered, black wind swirling around him before it exploded in a mighty tornado that shredded the earth to dust. Naruto's smirk fell however as he saw Jura smirking. The dust suddenly reformed into massive spikes that surged towards him. Naruto grunted throwing his Thunder God Kunai into the air before teleporting to it, avoiding the attack.

"You're pissing me off Jura!"

The fellow Wizard Saint did not respond, causing Naruto's eye to twitch, twelve spheres of golden energy rotating around him. "Meteor Shower!"

The storm of light descended, only for Jura to easily counter it with his own stone arms he sent to catch them. The orbs of light destroyed the arms, but it expended all of their energy doing so, causing Naruto to frown. The blonde began to write with his kunai.

"Dark Ericture: Chamber of Gravity!"

The rune Naruto wrote shot downwards in a chamber shape. Jura frowned, leaping away from the chamber. He didn't know what the spell did but he did not want to find out. Naruto smirked however, suddenly vanishing from the sky as if he wasn't even there. Jura's eyes widened as he realized the true purpose of the spell, a distraction. Jura glanced to his side where Naruto had cleverly placed one of his markers on the ground, the blonde already right next to him.

"Odama Rasengan!"

Jura grunted as the giant Rasengan smashed into his stomach, sending him flying and spiraling through the air until he crashed against the ground. Naruto smirked at the Wizard Saint, watching as Jura rose albeit slowly. The blow had clearly not been what Jura was expecting. At least, that was what Naruto had thought until he saw the flecks of rock falling off of Jura's body.

"That was a close one, you almost had me," Jura stated, before he grinned at Naruto, the earthen armor he used to protect himself slowly falling to the ground, completely useless after Naruto's attack. "Luckily for me I practiced activating my armor at faster and faster speeds knowing I'd have to fight fast opponents no matter how much farther I advanced into the tournament. I can't simply let you speedblitz me, Naruto-dono."

Naruto's eye began to twitch. "Maybe I took you too lightly..."

"I thought the boy said Jura was no match for him," Wolfhiem stated. "Sure as hell doesn't seem that way, ranking be damned."

"We haven't seen Naruto go all out yet," Makarov stated. "He's mainly just testing Jura right now. Jura's expending more energy than Naruto, and he has less of it as well. He has no intention of making this a battle of attrition."

"Is that not an interesting choice considering his style of magic," Mira stated. "It's more suited to longer, drawn out battles. Earth Magic by nature doesn't use much magic to cast it's spells, even one's as powerful as Jura's. Naruto's magics are much more cost-intensive for their spells to truly be effective."

"No," Erza stated. "Naruto has almost unparalleled offensive firepower. Even Jura doesn't want to let Naruto let loose. Remember, it's common knowledge that Naruto and Sasuke's battle destroyed the Domus Flau originally. While I don't doubt any Wizard Saint could replicate such a feat, that's a lot of firepower coming at you to try and stop. Putting Naruto down quickly is in his best interest."

"How will Naruto respond," Gray muttered.

"Simple, more overwhelming force," Natsu stated, as though it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Hey everyone turn on the T.V.," Cana called. The guild members blinked, slightly confused at the request. The T.V. was almost never on. Most of the mages never really used it, but they turned it on nonetheless. It flickered on, showing the news.

"What did you want to see Cana," Levy questioned.

"Turn to channel five and you'll see what I heard when coming back from my job."

Levy shrugged, changing the channel only for her eyes to widen as she saw Naruto and Jura fighting on T.V. Everyone in the guild's eyes widened, surprised to see the two Wizard Saints fighting.

"Why are they fighting?"

"What's going on?"

"Is that where Master and everyone else went?"

"Master must have exclusively brought them to the tournament," Jet stated, a frown on his face.

"But why would he do that? Last time we all went," Cana questioned.

"I know why," Levy muttered, a frown forming on her face. "Mito Uzumaki."

"Who," Freed questioned, sitting on a nearby chair. The guild looked at him, frowning. They forgot that Freed was not there when Naruto and Sasuke revealed exactly who they were to everyone. It would be...complicated to explain.

"Well..."

"Alright, you've earned my respect Jura," Naruto stated. "Be careful though, that means no more holding back."

Jura grinned. "I'm glad to hear it."

Naruto smirked. "You won't be," he hissed, before his magic power exploded, throwing his Thunder God Kunai. In a flash there were dozens, littering the field in all directions. Jura tensed, frowning as he realized what Naruto had set up without any interference. There was nothing that could be done anymore however. With a grunt Jura activated his full body armor, his body a dull gray color as his armor covered him. A single hit from Naruto would not be tolerable, it would seriously put him at a disadvantage.

Naruto smirked. "Ya know I've been meaning to try out this new technique," he muttered, his right fist glowing intensely with yellow light before it darkened to a black that seemed to suck everything in. "At the last tournament Shin used Altairis, and frankly speaking I always hated the spell. It's more suited to murder than anything else. But I think I may have found a way around that," the blonde muttered, a grin forming on his face.

"By concentrating the power of the spell down it increases it's power, but it makes it less likely to kill you see," Naruto stated. "The gravitational aspect is still there, but it doesn't act on every inch of your body. It's just highly concentrated. In summary...it hurts like a bitch."

Jura's eyes widened as Naruto disappeared.

"What do you think?"

Jura barely had time to turn before Naruto's punch slammed into his side, the force of the concentrated Altairis blasting into him. Jura's body contorted, the earthen armor on his body shattering like glass, Naruto's punch actually hitting flesh and bone. Jura howled, feeling some of his ribs crack before he was sent flying from an explosion of force, slamming into the concrete slab that separated the audience from the competitors. Naruto blinked, tilting his head.

"Ok I didn't think it would do that."

The blonde's eyes widened as he slowly saw hands emerge from the rubble, revealing Jura slowly rising to his feet, clutching his side in pain. His staff was on the ground between the duo. Naruto rubbed the back of his head. "I'm impressed you're still standing."

Jura didn't bother responding, realizing his predicament. He needed to buy time to give his body time to rest from the ridiculousness that was that attack, and he was determined to do so. The man placed his other hand on the ground, yellow energy flashing over the ground before uncountable rock spires shot towards Naruto. The blonde frowned, weaving between the attacks. Jura sighed as the blonde was preoccupied, tapping his foot on the ground. The ground where his staff was suddenly shot upwards, throwing his staff back into his hands. As soon as he caught it the jewel at the top of the staff began to glow.

Jura ignored the blood trickling from his mouth as he watched Naruto shoot into the sky, annoyed of dodging his countless attacks. With a roar of effort the spires of earth shot into the sky in countless amounts of boulders, causing Naruto's eyes to widen. Black winds suddenly swirled around the blonde's hands, generation a tornado of wind that shredded the rocks into dust. Jura smirked however as he noticed the dust in the air with the blonde.

"You're not the only one with unique abilities," Jura muttered. The dust in the sky suddenly began to glow a molten red, causing Naruto's eyes to widen. An explosion of lava filled the sky, causing Jura to smirk. His eyes widened however as he saw the lava get sent flying towards the stands in a burst of wind, the special barriers Naruto created activating to negate the damage. The blonde was sweating, the heat of the attack seemingly getting to him.

"How did you create lava...Earth Magic user?"

Jura smirked. "Lava is just molten earth. It's not that complicated."

Naruto snarled, the golden glow of Meteor around him intensifying. Blue energy began to swirl around his body before two clones of him formed into existence. Jura frowned before the clones took off in a flash. Jura grunted watching as the trio of Naruto's began to trace symbols in the sky before all three shouted, "Grand Chariot!"

The three sets of seven magical circles flashed in the air, three giant constellations of the Big Dipper forming in the sky thanks to Naruto's magic before twenty-one blasts of light descended down towards Jura. The Wizard Saint grunted, the glow on his staff magnifying as he called upon his magic power. With a roar of effort several giant dome's of earth formed around him, the blasts of light cratering against them in a massive explosion. The crowd was silent as they waited with baited breath to see what happened. When the smoke cleared it revealed Jura completely unharmed from the attack. A massive roar of applause shook the building, but Jura paid it no mind as he noticed only two Naruto's were in the sky.

The man turned instantly, his sensory abilities just barely giving him to the time to deflect Naruto's slash with his staff. Naruto grunted, launching a kick that the larger man caught, swinging Naruto around. The blonde grunted, using his core strength to force his body upwards to launch another punch at Jura's face. The blow was blocked by Jura's thick forearm, however the force behind it was enough to send Jura skidding backwards and force him to release Naruto. Naruto frowned, launching himself forwards once more, two Rasengan in hand. Jura grunted, launching his hands to grab the grinding orbs, his rock armor just barely able to withstand the initial clash. Naruto smirked.

"How long do you think your earth can fight against the grinding?"

"Long enough," Jura stated with a smirk, the rock covering his body suddenly extending to trap Naruto's forearms. The blonde's eyes widened as he tried to pull away only to fail. Jura smirked, and with a tap of his foot a spire of rock shot forth from the earth to slam into Naruto's body. The blonde coughed, spit flying onto Jura's shirt as Naruto was held in place by the earth on his hands. Jura smirked, releasing him to launch a punch that cratered into Naruto's head, sending him flying. Jura had no time to breathe however as two Naruto's were suddenly in front of him, slashing at him with their weapons. Jura just barely managed to block their attack, until he felt a third presence behind his back. Jura tried to dodge Naruto's attack, but was too slow, the blonde slamming a palm onto his back, sending him stumbling forwards. Jura grunted, mainly just annoyed by the tactic until he saw the duo of Naruto's in front of him launching themselves forwards.

"Dark Ericture: Marking Rasengan!"

Jura grunted as one of the orbs smashed into his stomach, only for a new painful sensation to flood his body as a spear of solid energy smacked him into the air. Naruto aimed the weapon, the spear beginning to spin with visible air resistance until he launched it. "Energy-Make: Thrusting Rasengan!"

Jura howled as the spear shredded through his right shoulder, a small but excruciatingly painful hole formed on his body. The trio of Naruto's all nodded at one another, the real Naruto holding out his hand as the others began to write using Dark Ericture.

"Sorry about this Jura," Naruto roared. "But it's time to end this!"

The two clones of Naruto disappeared, the real Naruto holding up a monstrosity above his head. It was a Rasengan, but modified with the effects of Dark Ericture. Flames swirled around it, contained within a tiny swirl of wind. However the core of it was pitch black, and judging from the way rocks and dirt were drawn to it the black look was due to a gravitational effect.

"Energy-Make: Dark Explosion!"

Naruto then threw the attack, the thing howling all the way towards Jura. The man, completely separated from the ground, realized he wouldn't be able to defend himself in his normal way. With a grunt yellow energy swirled around him before it solidified into a stone sphere that the attack struck. Upon impact the crowd went silent as a titanic boom filled the air, knocking away the clouds and sending dirt and debris flying in every direction. Naruto stared at the explosion, waiting to see what would happen.

Natsu's eyes widened at the explosion, glancing around at his fellow mages. "No way! Did you guys see that! Naruto's attack really did that!"

"Impressive," Azuma stated, a grin on his face. His battle lust shown clear through his eyes. He wanted to face someone who could throw attacks like that around like it was nothing. "I'm sure he would give me a good battle."

"Oh you'd better believe it!" Natsu called. "Naruto's one of the strongest members of the guild!"

"He's stronger than I gave him credit for," Wolfhiem stated. "However, I can tell this isn't his full power. To be able to casually toss around what is clearly a low S-ranked spell with such ease is an impressive feat. How strong is he Makarov?"

"To be honest," Makarov began. "I'm not quite sure. I've only felt his full power once in my life, so I'm not quite sure what he has up his sleeve."

"Erza," Mira stated. "You're the one who knows him best besides Sasuke. How strong do you think he is?"

"Naruto..." Erza stated silently. "He is strong. So is Jura, but...I don't think Naruto's ranking on the Wizard Saints accurately displays his strength. When Phantom Lord attacked Fairy Tail he was fighting evenly with Jose Porla, a Wizard Saint of higher ranking than his own. Jose had the advantage, but Naruto has only grown more powerful since that day, and he was already tired from fighting someone else before fighting Jose. And he's creative. Some of the moves he's using here I've never seen him use before, but they're clearly powerful. I don't think he's as powerful as you Master...but he may be a match for Gildarts."

"Gildarts Clive," Woflhiem questioned. "As powerful as that man...heh. He truly would be a monster then."

"A match for Gildarts," Gray muttered. 'And yet he's less powerful than the last time he was here? Just how powerful was he to be fighting those Bijuu back in his homeworld! How dominant did he have to be in order to save his world!'

That thought was echoed among all but one Fairy Tail member.

"Woah!" Droy called. "Did you guys see that! Naruto just vaporized a Wizard Saint!"

"We don't know if he's vaporized," Evergreen stated. "Stop exaggerating."

"I don't think it's out of the question," Freed stated. "That technique...Naruto blended his Energy-Make: Rasengan with a multitude of boosts from his Dark-Ericture. He added flame, gravity, and wind. The combination of magic must have made that attack extremely dense. It was a single person made Unison Raid. For Jura to survive that would speak highly of his defensive capabilities, especially considering he's an Earth Magic user who was forced to defend himself midair. It truly was a good thing for Laxus that Naruto was not here during the Battle of Fairy Tail."

"Yeah, he'd have dealt with all of you with ease," Max stated, a smirk on his face. Freed nodded.

"Yes...I don't think any of us could have stood up to his strength."

"Funny that this isn't even his full strength then."

The guild froze, staring at Levy with horror. The bluenette blinked, slightly uncomfortable under all of their gazes. "What is it?"

"What do you mean this isn't his full power?"

"Well it's just I've seen Naruto go all out before. Using his Drive. I mean think about it, he hasn't even started to really use his Sky God Slayer Magic. He's relying mainly on Heavenly Body Magic, Dark Ericture, and Energy-Make. We all know those aren't what he uses when he is really taking a fight seriously. So I know that's not his full power. Simple as that."

"That's not his full power," Cana muttered. "No way...what a monster. I thought I had gotten stronger but he's..."

"Impossible," Juvia stated. "It shouldn't be possible for someone to be that strong."

"And yet here he is," Jet muttered, clenching Gae Dearg with a tightness. He knew there was no way he would be able to survive an attack of that magnitude. The only reason he was able to even stand in front of some attacks was due to this spear. Jet stared at the screen, a resolute look on his face. He needed to find a way to activate Double Accel. That way he would at least be more capable of facing these levels of opponents.

Naruto was inspiring indeed.

Naruto watched slowly as a trail of dust descended towards the ground, landing in a thud. Naruto frowned. That...wasn't a good sign. Did he kill Jura? He hoped not. He was testing some of his new attacks because he knew Jura's defense was famous and wanted to know exactly how dangerous they were, but maybe he had pushed it a bit far. That attack was purely theoretical and he had just kinda thrown it at him, when he wasn't on the ground. Then again, he supposed that was a good thing. Jura wasn't giving him any breathing room, so he had to take the advantages he could get.

"I'll admit," the voice came from the smoke cloud as it cleared, revealing Jura. The man's upper body was marred in burns and wounds, the lacerations that weren't cauterized shut bleeding profusely. The man's shirt was not longer there and even his pants were mainly in tatters. They covered his dignity, but that was about it. There was no trace of his rock skin armor, not that it would have made any difference. Even his staff was destroyed. Naruto was fairly impressed he was still able to stand.

"That's some attack."

"Thanks," Naruto muttered. "I gotta say I wasn't expecting you to still be standing after that. That was essentially a self-made Unison Raid. For you to be able to withstand that, without being connected to the ground or having the time to call some to you is quite impressive."

"Thank you," Jura stated, looking at Naruto with a wary smile. "Now...shall we keep going?"

Naruto smirked. "Of course, let's continue."

The crowd erupted in cheers at those words.

"With an amazing display of defense Jura weathers Uzumaki's catastrophic blow! What will happen next," the referee called.

"He's continuing," Gray called. "With wounds like that?"

"I don't think a Wizard Saint would go down in one move, regardless of power," Erza stated. "It makes sense. Besides, Jura is well-known for his defensive capabilities. If he wasn't capable of fighting after this I'd be mildly surprised."

"Still," Gajeel stated. "Naruto's offensive firepower is something I don't think I've ever seen matched. He's versatile and can create self fucking made Unison Raids. That's terrifying."

"That's not that difficult," Makarov muttered, drawing horrified looks from his members.

"What do you mean! To be able to simultaneously use two types of magic is something most mages can't do," Azuma stated.

"Most average mages," Woflheim interrupted. "Any Wizard Saint worth their salt can create self-made Unison Raids. Once you get the balance of magic accounted for they're really not that hard to create. Anyone who considers themselves on or above the level of a Wizard Saint should at least be able to do that."

"How are they just talking about that so casually," Mira deadpanned.

"That's good," Natsu stated, a grin on his face. "That at least gives me a benchmark on what I need to be in order to beat Naruto in a fight! Once I can do that I'll know I've closed the gap just a little bit more!"

"I wouldn't think that Natsu," Makarov stated. "Naruto was evenly fighting Jose mostly, who is capable of using an Abyss Break, by himself. That requires at least four different types of magic, so Naruto likely is much more powerful than simply one self-performed Unison Raid."

The guild members faces dropped.

"Just how strong is he!"

Naruto blurred into motion, the golden aura around him dazzling the crowd. The blonde shot in front of Jura, his fist cocked back for a devastating punch. Jura ducked underneath the blow, stone forming on his hands before he launched his hands upwards. The strike didn't even come close to touching Naruto, the blonde already having maneuvered out of the way. Instead Naruto stood behind Jura, purple energy flaking off of his hands before he pointed them at the giant.

"Dark Ericture: Suffering!"

Jura whirled, eyes widening as the beams of energy smashed into his chest. All at once his body erupted in pain, the pain he was able to fight through earlier magnifying tenfold. Naruto grunted, forming an Odama Rasengan in his hand before he smashed it into Jura's chest. The man howled, being sent flying from the force of the attack. The pain from the attack usually was a lot, but the added effect of the spell Naruto had cast before made it practically impossible for him to endure it. Luckily for him the length of the spell wore off just then, allowing Jura to stand.

Naruto smirked.

Jura frowned, clasping his hands together. With a roar a flash of white erupted, causing Naruto's eyes to widen before he glanced at the ground. He tried to get away but he knew he wouldn't move fast enough.

"Rumbling Mt. Fuji!"

The enormous amount of magic energy surged, shredding the ground and sending a pillar of blazing white energy into the sky. Jura watched with curiosity at the aftermath, noticing a distinct lack of a blonde headed figure. He turned, not surprised to see Naruto standing across from him, energy swirling in his hands as he held a Rasengan his clones were modifying.

"Those kunai," Jura muttered.

Naruto grinned before the clones disappeared and he raised the attack above his head. "Energy-Make: Typhoon Water Vortex!"

Naruto smashed the Rasengan on the ground, causing a massive deluge of water vapor to surge towards Jura. Jura grunted, raising his arms as the water vapor surrounded him. The mist was moving to fast for him to see through it, likely Naruto having incorporated a bit of Wind Magic in the attack using his Energy-Make. Jura was not going to be caught by surprise however, quickly creating a pillar of earth to lift him out of the cloud. That proved to be a mistake however as a kunai floated in the air above him. Jura's eyes widened as Naruto appeared before him, holding a Rasengan that pulsed with crimson energy.

"Energy-Make: Flashing Rasengan!"

The beam fired from the Rasengan struck Jura in the chest, sending the man flying downwards towards the ground. The force sent the vapor cloud into the air, but it didn't matter. Naruto wasn't done, accelerating his fall from the sky with the use of Meteor as he formed another Rasengan.

"Energy-Make: Magnet Rasengan!"

Jura frowned, slamming his palms on the ground. A storm of earth shot upwards, pillars attempting to smash into Naruto while a dome erected itself between him and Naruto as a protective measure. Naruto grunted, slipping past the pillars before smashing the attack through the dome, frowning as he found Jura missing from where it should be.

"Where did he..."

Nrauto didn't have any chance to respond as a yell came from the ground, the earth changing to sand and wrapping around him before he had any chance to react. Naruto grunted as he was forcefully dragged into the ground. Before he could react the sand changed to stone, with the ground beneath him changing into quicksand. Naruto growled, trying to fight his way out of the trap but found himself unable. With a resolute sigh he teleported away, a Thunder God Kunai in hand.

Naruto wasn't free from assault however, the ground roaring as two mountains appeared around him. Naruto frowned, cautious as the mountains began to rumble. Suddenly they blew, lava blasting from the holes that appeared in the sides of the mountains, plumes of smoke being released into the air. Naruto immediately reacted, shooting off using his Meteor to avoid the powerful streams of molten earth. The blonde shot into the air, the surface of the battlefield covered in a thick layer of lava. Naruto grunted, before his eyes widened as he saw the mountains rumble once more. Suddenly the lava they were shooting out stopped, instead a storm of thick dust spewing into the sky. Naruto frowned, using his Sky God Slayer Magic to create winds that parted the dust around him.

That wasn't all he had to do however, the dust around him roaring as they began to form miniature shards of earth that shot towards him. Naruto barely dodged the initial volley, not expecting it, but was quick to react, avoiding the weapons. However, the blonde wasn't dumb, he knew he would eventually get overwhelmed. He tried to reach out for one of his kunai, only for his eyes to widen as he realized they were all gone.

"He destroyed them with the lava," Naruto realized, before he felt two hands clasp his feet. Naruto's head shot down, to see Jura standing on a rock grasping his legs. Jura grinned, his body coated in his rock armor before he threw Naruto towards the ground. The blonde grunted, managing to regain control of himself before he made contact with the lava, only for Jura to crash on top of him, forcing the duo into the sea of lava. The dust followed the duo, laying over the top of the lava to turn itself into stone. That brief moment of distraction was enough for Naruto to create a barrier of wind between him and the lava so as to not be burned to death however. Jura had expected that though, swimming through the lava with seemingly no issue as he launched a punch at Naruto. The blonde grunted, raising a hand to catch it. His eyes widened however as suddenly rocks surged through his wind shield where lava should be, yanking him downwards just enough that his hand was in the wrong position. Jura's punch crashed into his cheek, sending him spiraling through the lava.

Jura kept up his assault, waving his hands forwards. Naruto blinked, confused only for his eyes to widen as he saw teeth try and pierce his wind shield, the lava sharks trying and failing to reach him. Naruto grit his teeth, sending a burst of wind forwards to destroy the sharks, only for Jura to get close to him in the time required, the man actually moving faster in the lava. With a roar Jura slammed a punch into Naruto's abdomen, keeling him over before he launched a kick that sent Naruto flying to the side. Naruto grunted, shaking his head to clear it. Jura appeared before him once more, his rock gauntlets looking larger than usual before he grabbed Naruto's hands. The blonde grunted, only to restrain a scream of pain as Jura began to squeeze.

"They've been under there for a while," Levy questioned.

"I'm sure he's fine," Bickslow stated. "If Naruto's as strong as you said then a little lava won't kill him."

"That's a lot of lava," Elfman muttered. "He destroyed Naruto's Thunder God Kunai with that lava as well, so Naruto can't even teleport out of the swarm. I doubt Jura is giving Naruto the time required to destroy it either. A battle in the lava! Such a manly strategy!"

"I don't like the fact that you're flattering him," Cana muttered. "Either way, Naruto isn't going to lose to that. If he was he'd have lost already. I'm sure Jura is surprised that Naruto is able to withstand the lava."

"I mean I suppose he could be trying to kill him," Juvia stated. She got horrified looks from her guild mates, causing her to blink. "I mean, Juvia is just saying that it is a possibility."

"So dark," Lucy droned.

"I hope the blonde is as capable of withstanding temperature as you Salamander," Gajeel stated. "Or he may just be dead."

Natsu grinned. "Oh a little lava won't kill Naruto. Slow him down? Tire him out? Maybe, but kill him? Not a chance."

"He isn't dead off the simple fact that he'll be disqualified if he does kill him," Gray stated.

"You'd be surprised how often accidents happen when mages of their caliber are fighting," Draculos muttered. Gray blinked, the off-putting aura the General gave off combined with the words making them sound more ominous than they should.

"Naruto is fine," Erza stated. "He's still fighting underneath those waves. I'm confident in it."

"Your confidence is misplaced girl," Wolfhiem stated. "I have no doubt the blonde is still fighting, but your confidence is based on a blind faith rather than realism. Sometimes your allies are simply to weak to defeat their opponent."

"Then I'll be there to defend them."

"You think you can take Jura 'The Mountain' Neekis? Please by all intents go and do so."

Erza frowned, irritated at the tone the General was using. Sure she knew she couldn't defeat Jura in a straight fight. Naruto was struggling to do so and Naruto was definitely stronger than she was, but she could give him a fight. And with everyone at her back she was positive that she could defeat him. Fairy Tail fought as a team rather than as an individual. If one person wasn't strong enough to defeat an opponent then the entire guild would help them. It was how a family operated. Something this man did not seem to understand.

Naruto's eyes roared with new life as he increased his wind, the wisps slashing against Jura's armor while pushing the lava away. With a roar Jura was kicked in the chest by Naruto, forcing him backwards. Naruto snarled, holding his hand out, a Rasengan forming before he shot towards Jura. Jura grunted, bringing the lava back in before using it to shoot out of the way of the attack with his increased speed. Naruto snarled, more Rasengan's forming around his arm before he fired them at Jura. The man's eyes widened, but he still defended, his rock armor growing a darker, more oppressive color, managing to withstand the barrage.

'Did he just increase the density of his earth? What the hell can't he do?' Naruto thought.

Jura roared, shooting forwards in a burst of speed. Naruto snarled, a glow emitting from his arms that was a telltale sign of him using Altairis. The two charged at one another, before they each launched a punch, the collision of their fists causing a shockwave that surged throughout the lava. The stone at the top of the submerged battlefield cracked.

'It's density is enough to withstand Altairis!'

The duo didn't stop, launching blow after blow that cratered against one another, shockwaves forcing lava away from them, only increasing the pressure against the ever cracking stone above them. Eventually the duo stopped worrying about defense, each smashing blow after blow against the other's head. After another blow Naruto stumbled backwards, Jura using the time to take the initiative. Naruto snarled, ducking underneath his punch before slamming a punch into Jura's stomach, forcing him upwards. With a roar Naruto shot upwards, slamming another punch into Jura's chest that sent him into the stone above them. Naruto roared, charging forwards once more only for Jura to dodge out of the way, launching a punch at Naruto's side. Naruto kicked off the ceiling, using it to readjust and launch a punch. The blows met, and another shockwave rippled out. This one was the decisive blow, the shockwave and lava pressing against the stone being too much, causing stone and lava to explode into the sky, Naruto and Jura still trying to fight each other off.

The crowd cried out in excitement, the fantastical display more than they had ever expected, even from S-class mages such as the duo on the field. This was a Wizard Saint. Lethal elements such as lava were nothing to them. With the power they possessed they could crush anything.

The duo landed on the field, lava and stone raining down on them. The duo didn't bother talking as lava began to pool once more, shooting forwards in another melee. Their punches met once more, sending lava flying away from them. Naruto snarled, a Rasengan forming in his other hand that he launched at Jura only for the man to catch it and then crush it. Naruto grunted, his hand firmly caught by Jura. He leapt into the air, launching a kick that smashed into Jura's chest, forcing him to release him and take a step back. Jura made Naruto pay however, some of the lava behind the blonde turning into earth and slamming into his back, right into Jura's thrusting fist that keeled Naruto over. With a roar Jura brought down a double ax-handle that slammed the blonde into lava. Jura tried to solidify the ground and finish the brawl, but Naruto was too fast, exploding upwards and slamming two Rasengan into Jura's chest, sending him skidding backwards.

Jura grunted, sliding backwards. The man slapped his hands together, a deep roar rising from the back of his throat before lava surged forwards in waves in an attempt to bury Naruto. The blonde raised his hands, winds spiraling around them. He waved them down, the tornadoes spiraling forth and sending the lava flying around him, Naruto smirking all the while.

"Sky God's Dance."

Jura grunted, surging forwards with speed that belied the weight of his armor and size. Naruto frowned as he realized it. He was moving at the same speed he was when they were fighting under the lava. Jura was using the lava to make him move faster. With the combination of his ridiculous defense it made it a formidable combo. It was intelligent, but not nearly fast enough. In a blur Naruto shot forwards, slipping underneath Jura's punch and throwing his hands forwards. His hand slapped against the rock defense, a mischievous grin filling his face as purple light surged forth.

"Dark Ericture: Shatter!"

Jura's eyes widened as purple energy flowed over his form, lightning arcing around his form before his extremely dense armor sprang off of his body.

"What?"

Naruto snarled, launching a punch that smashed into Jura's stomach, bending him over. With a grunt the blonde placed his hands on Jura's shoulders and with a roar threw him into the air. The blonde smirked, shooting towards Jura in a blur of gold, signifying his use of Meteor. The glow of his Altairis-enhanced punch was all Jura could see before the blow cratered into his stomach, causing him to heave before he was launched even further into the air. Naruto shot upwards, easily catching up to Jura and passing him as black winds spiraled around his legs.

"Sky God's Heavenly Kick!"

The blow cratered into Jura's back, causing the man to howl as he surged towards the ground, cratering into it. Naruto smirked, only for his eyes to widen as he realized Jura had disappeared.

"Did he?"

The roar of the arena ground itself surging towards him in the form of sand was his answer. Naruto grunted, using his wind to blow away the sand as he charged downwards, searching for the Wizard Saint. It was only when he found Jura that he realized he had fallen for the man's trap, the sand instantly transforming back into earth, trapping him underground once more.

Naruto grunted, unable to move in the small hole Jura had provided. It was dark. The blonde pushed against the ceiling, trying to force his way through, but he could tell it would be impossible. Jura was reinforcing the earth with his magic. Naruto howled as he felt the ground begin to compress. With a surge of his magic he fought against it, his enhanced strength just barely able to slow it. It wasn't enough however, a light trickling into the hole as lava began to slowly seep into his prison.

"Bastard," Naruto hissed, black winds surging around him. He'd need to put a lot of power into this to break free but that was fine. He could do that. With an explosion of wind the arena rumbled, a massive tornado of wind surging from the arena depths, a blur of motion shooting forwards from the winds. Jura watched as the motion suddenly multiplied and stuck into the ground. With a grunt the man realized Naruto had placed his Thunder God Kunai back onto the arena.

That could be fixed however. The second the tornado died down, freeing Naruto, Jura acted. Lava swirled around him before he sent it flying towards the Thunder God Kunai. Naruto was quick to react however, summoning a whirlwind that directed the lava upwards and into the sky.

Jura frowned. "You're a frustrating opponent Naruto-dono."

"So are you," Naruto muttered. "You've tried to crush me, boil me alive, submerge me in lava, crush me under the weight of your boulders...if you weren't a master of Earth Magic I'd think you're trying to kill me."

Jura smirked. "Ah, but the very sky itself darkens as you continue to unleash your power."

Naruto blinked, glancing upwards before he smirked. The sky was darkening. Not significantly so far, but he could see it. And it wasn't due to him, but from he could tell exactly why they were darkening due to his magic. He looked back down at Jura, his confident grin growing even more.

Naruto disappeared in a burst of speed, a blur of golden circling Jura. The injured Wizard Saint grunted, clenching his fists as yellow energy flickered off of his body. Suddenly the earth began to rumble before waves of yellow energy exploded from the ground, sending Naruto flying backwards. Naruto flipped, steadying himself only for his eyes to widen as he saw Jura descending from above, rock covering his hand. With a roar Jura brought the blow down, Naruto just barely managing to dodge out of the way of the attack even with his enhanced speed. Jura was counting on that however, his hand touching the ground with a pulse of yellow energy. Naruto's eyes widened as suddenly four hands of earth shot from the ground, grabbing his limbs. Suddenly three spires of earth shot from the ground, smashing into his chest. The blonde roared, air forced from his lungs by the attack. Jura smirked. Naruto grunted, glaring at the man only for Jura to clasp his hands together. With a roar a massive fissure opened in the ground, revealing a massive tower of earth that sparkled with yellow energy. With a roar of effort waves of yellow energy and earth shot down the mountain, slamming into Naruto.

"Landslide," Jura muttered.

The attack cascaded into Naruto, the blonde's howls of pain worrying his guild mates. Suddenly the screams stopped however, causing Jura to worry. It was then that he felt it. The surge of power to fight against his technique. The man tried to fight against it but he wasn't able to, a tower of black wind shooting into the sky, the howling winds sending dust and personal belongings flying in all directions. Jura covered his face with his arm, looking towards the center of the tornado to see a lone figure standing in the center of it all. Suddenly the tornado vanished, revealing an injured Naruto standing in front of Jura. The bruises caused from Jura's attack were an ugly color, but the pain clearly didn't bother the blonde that much considering he instantly flowed into a counterattack.

"Meteor Strike!"

The twelve golden orbs shot towards Jura, the man instantly conjuring several walls of earth to withstand the blast, only for Naruto to appear at his side, nine blades of lightning at his back, crackling with a dangerous energy.

"Jiu Leixing!"

Jura stumbled backwards, barely managing to create a lone wall to defend against the lightning made blades. The wall withstood the first three blades, however the remainder all broke through it, stabbing into Jura's chest. The man roared in pain. Naruto smirked, immediately following up with another attack.

"Pleiades!"

Jura fought against the waves of electricity surging through him and the pain of the stabbing to glance to the sky, the six beams of light descending at a terrifying speed. Jura grunted, leaping away to just barely avoid a direct hit, however the subsequent explosion sent him flying. Naruto smirked, shooting after him, writing his spells as he followed.

"Dark Ecriture: Pain!"

Beams of purple light swarmed Jura, and they would have smashed into him if not for the quick activation of his rock armor, the beams of light useless in their effort to penetrate it. Jura flipped, landing on the ground to glare at Naruto. The blonde's eyes widened, but Jura was not going to let him react in time, an arm of earth extending from his arm to grab Naruto by the throat. He would have slammed the blonde to the ground if he didn't teleport away to one of the many Thunder God Kunai that existed on the battlefield.

"And this is why I did not want you to set those up."

Naruto grinned cheekily. "Best believe I do what you don't want me to! That was my favorite thing to do as a prankster!"

Jura rolled his eyes, yellow energy flashing off of his armor. "I see. Well then I suppose I'll have to get a bit more serious. After all, I am facing a Wizard Saint." The yellow glow suddenly magnified, blinding anyone who dared to look directly at it as it filled the arena.

"Earth Magic: Gaia!"

The ground shuddered. Yellow energy exploded throughout the ground, causing Naruto's eyes to widen before a flash of yellow enveloped the field. Before the blonde react he saw and felt it. The earth began to move, swirling around Jura, before in a flash of yellow light there was a virtual army of earthen creations standing behind Jura. Jura smirked, blinking at Naruto. Naruto frowned.

"What's this?"

"A powerful spell indeed," Jura stated, dropping his stance before his army moved. Disassembling into dust to move with the wind, slipping into the ground to travel along it, or just charging as a regular person would, the entire army moved. Naruto frowned, instantly realizing he would have to use his God Slayer Magic. None of his other magic would be capable of handling such a large number of enemies. However it was his surprise that as soon as he made this decision the army was upon him, disembodied arms throwing punches at him. Naruto grunted, dodging the first two punches only for his feet to suddenly pause. Naruto glanced downwards, noticing the hands gripping his feet, but was unable to do anything before two fists plowed into his stomach.

The blonde grunted, skidding back from the force, preparing to counter only for his body to be yanked backwards, a creature pulling backwards. Naruto snarled, only for another creature to shoot up from the ground, its hands in the shape of giant boulders that it smashed against Naruto's sides. Naruto howled, feeling his ribs creek from the pain. He tried to pull away, only to see a wave of earth form above him. It descended crushing everything under it with a shudder that shook the arena. It wasn't enough however as Naruto appeared from the center of the still earth, surrounded by black winds. Dust swilred around him, only for his eyes to widen as it flew above him, turning to a massive boulder that dropped down on him. The blonde easily split the boulder, only for his eyes to widen as he saw thousands of cannons in the center of it pointing at him.

"The hell?"

The cannons fired, waves of earth and lava slamming him into the ground. The earth collapsed onto him, quickly forming into quicksand in order to trap him underneath. Jura smirked.

"You're fighting the earth itself. It's reaction time is significantly faster than any regular Earth Magic spell. Earth Magic is notoriously slow, so I merely solved that. It requires a substantial bit more magic than typical Earth Magic spells, but it achieves a much better effect. Earth Magic that is controlled merely by my thought and reacts at the speed of Wind Magic. It named after Gaia due to her divine creation of the planet Naruto-dono. With such a powerful magic removing it's only limitation there's no way you can defeat it, even with your impressive offensive onslaught."

Jura smirked. "It was a fun battle."

"It's only gonna get more fun."

Jura's eyes widened, turning to see Naruto sitting on the ground near him, a smirk on his face. "Did you forget about all of these," Naruto muttered, gesturing to all of his kunai still on the battlefield. "I am everywhere Jura."

Jura snorted. "I suppose that was an oversight Naruto-dono. Allow me to fix that."

Naruto instantly shot into the sky, barely avoiding the quick shifting of the ground, the entire arena floor turning into quicksand swallowing his kunai with ease. Naruto frowned, noticing that the only solid ground remaining was where Jura stood. And it was not restrictive to the mage at all, if his power was to be believed. An intelligent move, but Naruto had one better.

"Not bad."

"Oh it gets better," Jura roared, the quicksand quickly turning to lava. The heat in the arena skyrocketed before Jura sent wave after wave flying towards Naruto. Naruto grunted, a small tornado forming in his hands. With a grunt he brought the burst of air downwards, the ensuing windstorm sending the towers of lava against the barrier's Naruto made for the residence, the seals doing their diligence as lava covered the view of the audience, reaching multiple meters into the sky. Jura smirked, the platform he was on suddenly shooting into the air as the rock around his arms began to steam, lines of lava flowing through it like blood. Naruto watched as the man ascended, a sphere of lava forming in his hands.

With a roar Jura fired the beam, the lava tearing through the air. Naruto grunted, deciding to dodge instead of counter, only for his eyes to widen as a pillar erupted from Jura's tower, the man leaping onto it before shards of sharpened earth shot his way. With a gesture of his hand they were sent flying, only for the lava that was slowly falling to surge forwards in an uncountable amount of daggers that speared their way towards Naruto. Naruto snorted, tornado's forming on his arms.

"Sky God's Dance!"

The tornado's of wind swirled outwards, none of the lava touching Naruto, the tornado instead sending it towards Jura. The man rolled his eyes, easily shifting the lava to dust before causing it to swirl. Naruto grunted, cancelling his tornado so it didn't add to the effective sandstorm Jura had created. That was smart. Suddenly cuts began to form his his body, causing his eyes to widen before he shielded himself with a veil of black wind. Very smart. Jura had placed incredibly sharp pieces of rock in the sandstorm, and due to their high velocity they were slicing into his body. And intelligent attack, but not nearly enough.

"Jura you underestimate me," Naruto stated. "You're using an attack based on an environmental phenomena based on what exactly?"

Jura's eyes widened as he realized his mistake. Naruto's grin turned predatory as winds exploded from his body, the sandstorm instantly under his control even with Jura fighting against it. Jura grunted as Naruto turned the sandstorm into a more concentrated stream that he sent flying towards Jura. The Wizard Saint grunted, disassembling his sand into even smaller particles to make it harmless. Naruto smirked, letting his control over the attack drop. Jura snarled, forming the field of lava once more, the temperature spiking once more.

Lava began to swirl on the air before several massive streams roared towards Naruto. The blonde blinked, wind swirling around his hand before he sent it towards the streams, winds blowing the molten earth away. Naruto suddenly was shrouded with golden energy, shooting forwards towards Jura. The man grunted, the platform he was on rapidly expanding before a wall rose in front of him. Naruto shot above it, looking to reach Jura only for the ground to suddenly spear upwards, forcing Naruto backwards. The blonde grunted, only for his eyes to widen as the ground shot forwards, thinning to incredibly sharp points.

With a burst of wind they were sent flying, Naruto glaring down at Jura. The man smirked, the only warning Naruto got before he felt a blazing pain rip across his body. The blonde glanced downwards, a frown appearing on his face as he saw shards of earth digging into his skin. With a pulse of his magic he sent them flying.

"How?"

Jura smirked.

"Dust is in the air isn't it?"

Naruto growled, coating his body in a tornado before he shot towards Jura. Jura paid it no mind, his lava roaring to his call and raising into a massive wave as the pillar he was on began to create another he road to a safer location. Naruto burst through the wall of lava, turning to glare at Jura. There was a faint golden flow underneath the storm before the air behind Naruto began to shimmer with golden energy.

"Meteor Shower!"

Countless golden beams shot towards Jura, the man's eyes widening before he hastily dropped, the lava around him swirling to create massive and thick stone wall that weathered the blast. Naruto grit his teeth, watching as more of the ground began to turn into lava, roaring up towards him. Jura was slowly but surely transforming the battleground into his playground. A vague glow appeared from within his tornado before he snarled, shooting towards the wall between him and Jura. With a roar he launched his attack.

"Altairis!"

His punch shattered the wall like glass, revealing Jura smiling. Naruto frowned, confused until he realized Jura's trap. The earth around him suddenly morphed forming a massive stone above him that fell. Naruto clasped his hands together above his head, wind spiraling around him. The rock hit the wind, the wind neatly carving it in half. Naruto frowned however as he realized his vision was blocked by the massive boulder. That was clearly Jura's aim as the lava from the ground finally reached him, surrounding him in a wave.

Naruto frowned, the heat flowing around him as he took a deep breath.

"Sky God's Bellow!"

The massive tornado of black wind sent the lava flying in all directions, simultaneously shredding the boulder that surrounded him into dust. Naruto then focused his attention to Jura, wind swirling around his harm before he swung his arm downwards, the Sky God's Cleaver shredding through the earth Jura stood on. The man's eyes widened as he began to fall before he reacted. The earth began to swirl, lava forming a slide towards the central pillar. The lava quickly formed solid earth, Jura sliding down it before he gestured his hands upwards, the parts he had already passed breaking off to fire at Naruto. The blonde frowned, forming a gust of wind that sent the rocks flying around him. With a roar he sent them flying back towards Jura but it was to late, the man had opened a hole into his pillar. Naruto grunted, cracking his neck.

"Not enough," the blonde muttered. A massive whirlwind appeared on his hands before he raised it. Naruto smirked. "Sky God's Boreas!"

The massive gale tore downwards, shredding the tower into pieces as it descended. The attack roared all the way down, reaching the arena floor, leaving deep gashes on the ground but at the end it revealed an uninjured Jura. The man was standing still, his feet submerged in lava. Naruto frowned, noticing the massive amounts of dust in the air due to his attack. Normally he could just disperse the dust, out of whatever Jura's range of control was, but before he could do anything he felt it move. The dust surged towards the ground, beginning to boil as they transformed into lava. Jura smirked, stretching his arms towards Naruto as the ground around him began to boil.

"Forgive me Naruto-dono. For your sake I hope you stop this attack."

Naruto smirked, winds beginning to swirl around him. He was confident he could handle this move, whatever it was.

"Gaia's Rage!"

He was not expecting what happened next.

The ground erupted, lava shooting into the air at a speed that would have made even some S-class mages jealous. Soot and a terrible heat surged into the skies as a titanic wave of lava aimed to roast Naruto alive. The blonde instinctively shot higher into the air, powering up the winds at his back. He was not expecting that. The monstrosity moving his way was at least a SS-ranked attack that Jura had just casually thrown his way in a manner of seconds to set up. The blonde had to counter it or he knew he'd be dealing with some serious damage. He just didn't know if his seals could withstand the power.

He'd have to hope, as the attack was upon him. It was now or never. Naruto smashed the two tornadoes together, roaring as he brought them down.

"Sky God's Aurora!"

The massive storm of wind clashed with the lava and for a brief moment the spectators wondered if they were witness to a divine event, as it looked like the very elements were battling against themselves. They were so enraptured they didn't even notice the straining of Naruto's seals to hold in the attacks. And then it happened. The balance was broken in an instant and the victor of the clash was decided.

Lava surged upwards, blowing back the winds. Naruto barely had time to create a flimsy wall of wind before he was engulfed. The lava swirled around him, unrelenting. Jura grunted, satisfied. With a grunt he solidified the outermost lava, creating a giant sphere of earth that contained lava. With but a thought he created a pillar that lifted him up into the air, reaching the sphere. He frowned as he noticed the clouds. Was it always this cloudy? This dark?

Jura placed a hand on the sphere, using his magic to see if Naruto was either conscious or alive only for his eyes to snap open. He shot down his pillar, barely reacting in time to avoid the sphere exploding, an utterly humongous whirlwind forming in the sky. The lava and earth was sent flying, but Jura, never one to waste an opportunity, create his structure in the middle of the arena again, his palace of earthen pillars set up to allow him more maneuverability. Several pillars pointed upwards with a dangerous red glow inside them, vents to send lava flying towards Naruto at the slightest indication.

The whirlwind disappeared, revealing a horribly burned Naruto. His shirt was gone, as were his pants, revealing only a thin pair of shorts underneath them. Third degree burns covered his chest and back, and his arms and neck looked an angry red and black color. His eyes looked so pained that it hurt for them to open. The blonde didn't look like he should be able to move, and yet he lowered his arms with control that showed it wasn't exhaustion. Naruto looked down at Jura, the Wizard Saint blinking.

Erza's eyes widened in horror as she saw her boyfriend covered in such horrible wounds. That...that shouldn't be possible. Naruto was infallible. He had been hurt before, but that, that was something they had never seen before.

She wasn't the only one thinking that. Natsu and Gray were stunned, rooted to their place as the person they looked at as the apex of strength was forced to such a state from just a single attack. Particularly Natsu. During his training sessions with Naruto he had launched a similar attack at the blonde and Naruto had merely deflected it with such ease. Was this the gap in strength? Naruto had tried and failed to blast that attack away. The move was far too powerful to simply disregard. Was this really the gap in their power? To be able to shoot a virtual mountain of lava and heat at someone?

Azuma just stared upwards, a savage grin on his face. He wanted to fight them, both of them. It was just too bad his mission didn't allow for it.

"So that's your Wizard Saint," Wolfhiem stated. "Overconfidence was his downfall."

Makarov was silent.

"Naruto!" Levy cried, watching as her mentor was reduced to what was essentially a dead man. "How dare he! He could have killed him!"

Freed frowned, looking at Naruto with an intense gaze. 'Why? Why didn't you just use a focused shield around yourself? Or use a Dark Ericture spell to make a guard? Did you not think you could put enough magic in it to withstand the storm? Not that I blame you.'

"I can't believe it," Cana stated. "Did Naruto just lose?" Even with the titanic amount of power the blonde had demonstrated to free himself from the sphere, it could very well be all he had left. It was impressive the blonde was still able to fly. Any other mage would have fallen due to their injuries long ago.

"Naruto lost," Elfman whispered, unable to believe it. "That...that doesn't seem possible..."

"I can't believe it," Jet stated. "I refuse to believe it. Naruto is too strong to lose to this."

"He just got hit with a ridiculous amount of lava Jet," Cana stated. "Not all of us can negate magic. I don't think even Naruto could do anything against that."

"No," Jet stated, shaking his head. "Naruto can withstand this. That clash didn't even destroy the seals Naruto put in place to guard the arena. Naruto won't get beat by anything that can't do that. He isn't even his Drive yet. No, Naruto can still win this fight."

Cana's eyes narrowed. "Jet sometimes Naruto won't get the chance to activate his Drive. Jura didn't give him that chance and now he lost. That's all that matters."

Jet didn't respond, his eyes staring resolutely at the screen. He couldn't believe it. And from the look in Levy's eyes, he wasn't the only one who thought it as well.

"I'm impressed Naruto-dono. There are not many that can withstand that type of attack."

Naruto was silent.

"You will not withstand the follow-up."

Lava shot from the vents at Naruto, the blonde not even bothering to defend. He was too tired to generate the gales required to push them away. Instead he withstood the waves of lava roaring over his skin, the thin layer of Meteor he created over his body enough to make sure he didn't melt in the flow. Jura blinked, slightly impressed that Naruto had managed to survive the attack. He would not survive another.

"Any last words before I end this fight Naruto-dono?"

Naruto slowly opened his mouth, and Jura waited.

And waited.

And waited.

Jura blinked as he suddenly felt the air feel harder to come by. He wasn't the only one by the looks of it. The crowd looked slightly uncomfortable if the shifting in their seats was anything to go by. Was there less of it? But how was that-his eyes widened in realization.

Naruto's body glowed with power, his rejuvenation of his magic power complete. Then he roared, his wounds beginning to heal themselves. Jura's eyes widened in horror was Naruto's body began to treat it's wounds, the injuries fading as though they didn't exist in the first place. How was he doing that? Some sort of self-healing spell? But could Sky God Slayer Magic really offer something like that? His answer was revealed as all of the injuries on Naruto's body suddenly disappeared, revealing a perfectly healed mage.

"What?"

Naruto smirked as the crowd cheered as his display of dominance, making Jura's massive attack look like something he could shrug off indefinitely. That was definitely wrong. He would prefer to never do that again. If Jura launched another attack of that magnitude he wouldn't underestimate it. He would use his Drive.

"How?"

Naruto glanced at Jura.

"How did you do that!"

Naruto grinned, the cheeky look on his face causing Jura to despair. "Simple. Sky God Slayer Magic offers a healing spell. It was a strong attack, I'll give you that, but when I can restore my magic by eating the air and heal myself indefinitely because of it...well as long as I live and get the time that spell won't beat me."

Jura's face turned from one of despair to absolute horror as Naruto snorted. He supposed he hadn't quite revealed that trick to often. Then again so few people pushed him to actually using the ability that he almost forgot that he had it. The blonde grunted, stretching his sore muscles before he saw that the ground beneath him was darker.

Naruto blinked, glancing upwards before he smirked. He looked back down at Jura, his confident grin growing even more.

"Well on that note I think I'll have to use my strongest spell to beat you," Jura stated, a resolute look on his face. Naruto's grin didn't falter however, in fact it seemed to grow if possible. His body language was that of one who was disinterested.

"Jura you know me, I'm a bit of a braggart but I'm not really a mean guy right?"

"Yes Naruto-dono, but I fail to see how this has any bearing on our fight."

Naruto shook his head. "It should. You see Jura, I haven't been going all out in this fight to be honest. I'm sure you haven't either, there are civilians after all and even I don't have the confidence in my seals to restrain to Wizard Saints throwing around their full weight in a field like this."

"Indeed," Jura stated. "I haven't revealed my most powerful spells either. What is your point?"

Naruto wanted to shudder. He launched an SS-ranked spell and it wasn't his most powerful? Sure Naruto knew he could throw more powerful attacks around, but he had expected that to be around Jura's peak. He had thought the man bluffing when he mentioned using his strongest spell. But that confidence in his voice was absolute. He was not. Still it didn't matter.

Naruto grinned. "I mean Jura that my ceiling is just higher than yours. Even if you did use your most powerful spells you wouldn't be able to beat mine and you know why? Because wind, air, the sky, it controls everything. Sure if we were fighting underground you may have had a chance, but up here? In my element? I'm unbeatable. I'm sure you know that I can eat the air to regain my magic, that's common knowledge. But I don't think you understand the strength of it. Jura what spurs the waves? What smothers all fire if it so desires? What rages the hurricanes or tornadoes? Even the clouds bend its knee to it to an extent? The air Jura. The entire world is at my beck and call. Nothing can stop a truly powerful wind. Not earth, not fire, not water or any defense. Wind will always win. Even lightning itself can be manipulated by the wind under the right circumstances."

Jura's eyes widened, suddenly seeing the cumulonimbus clouds roiling in the sky.

"I can bring the clouds down, I can bring them up. The atmosphere itself is at my beck and call at my full power. The climate. The weather. All so heavily impacted by air you'd be surprised. And what's my magic called again?"

Jura had stopped paying attention, lowering his pillar and bringing all of the lava to him to form his defense, preparing for the massive attack Naruto was about to launch. He was positive he could withstand it. The blonde wouldn't launch something that would break his seals, so as long as he could be at least that strong he would be fine. Earth Magic was known for its defensive capabilities. He was sure he could do it, even against something as powerful as a lightning-based attack.

Lightning flashed in the sky.

Sasuke frowned as he sensed what was going on.

"That idiot actually copied me," he muttered. "I'm slightly impressed he has the control for that."

"Master should we do something," Erza called, staring up at Naruto with terror. She had never seen him utilize this level of control before. She hadn't though it possible. Just how strong was he? Every time she felt like she closed the gap he made another massive leap forward. Was this a side-effect of him mastering his Drive? This impossible control?

"There's nothing we can do," Makarov stated. "Naruto won't endanger the civilians so there's no need to worry."

"We might wanna worry about Jura," Gajeel stated, although he didn't seem like he cared much. The Dragon Slayer was still slightly miffed at his loss to the Wizard Saint in the first round.

"He'll live," Wolfhiem stated. "Although I can't guarantee he'll still be fighting after the blast hits."

"You know how lightning works right Jura," Naruto called. "I only really know because I was experimenting with this. Plus, seeing Sasuke manipulate it all the time gave me some ideas. A spark of electricity between the air, ground, or clouds. Air typically insulates it somewhat. But when that insulation breaks down..." Naruto trailed off a grin on his face. "And they say I don't like books. Never say I don't read right?"

Naruto cracked his neck, a swirl of black wind forming around his hand. "Typically the insulating capacity of air is higher but if I lower it..."

A flash blinded the world as an utterly massive lightning bolt struck down right at Jura, the ground exploding with the pent up energy. Chunks of earth flew into the air as the lightning shredded the ground and sent a shockwave flying outwards that sent everyone not solidly secured flying. His seals flashed with energy, trying their best to contain the attack and for a brief moment Naruto wasn't sure they would be capable of doing it. Naruto wasn't done however. He knew what happened after lightning. With a demonstration of masterful control he corralled the air so it followed his bidding.

No one heard the deafening BOOM of thunder.

No one except for Jura.

A massive dust cloud covered the battlefield. Naruto snorted, snapping his fingers. The dust cloud and the clouds above dissipated in a light breeze, revealing Jura. The man looked abused, covered in burns, lacerations, and bruises. His entire body was injured. Deep scorching marks covered his chest, with multiple lacerations and bruises on his back. The man's arms were mangled, either bleeding or blackened to the point of looking immovable. He looked exhausted, his body doing everything it could to remain standing.

Naruto grimaced. Maybe he had overdone it a bit?

"You still alive?"

Jura did not respond, likely unable to hear if the blood trickling from his ears was any indication. Naruto's eyes widened. "Please don't tell me I made him deaf!"

"You did direct an entire thunderclap directly at him," the referee muttered. "That's basically impossible for anyone not to go deaf at."

Jura slowly looked up to Naruto, the blonde expecting to see a look of shock on his face, only to see a man smiling serenely.

"Oh what the hell," Naruto muttered.

The tattered remains of the battlefield, barely anything more than a massive crater at this point, suddenly began to morph, not moving with their previous speed. The ground slowly turned into a swath of lava. Naruto blinked.

"He's really still trying to fight me after this..."

The lava surged upwards, moving with a speed that shouldn't be possible considering Jura's injuries. Naruto snorted. The man was truly deserving of the feats of his name if he could keep fighting in such a state. Wind swirled around Naruto, the blonde's hair flicking back and forth.

"Still the amount of magic he must have left is minuscule. An attack like that barely drains me because I don't actually do much of anything to set it up. No need to go allout on him. An light blow will end it."

Naruto dropped his wind, watching as the lava soared towards him. He disappeared, appearing behind Jura, using the seal he had placed on him earlier in the fight if the situation had called for it.

"Good fight Jura," Naruto muttered, preparing to fire a blast of wind, only for his eyes to widen as he saw the lava turn back into earth and fall back to the ground. Naruto glanced at Jura's face, a light smirk forming on it.

"Falling unconscious on his feet. How honorable."

"The winner is Naruto Uzumaki of Fairy Tail!"

For everyone asking about Naruto's control over lightning in the battle, as I'm sure there will be questions, yes I did bend the science behind how lightning works in thunderstorms a bit, but I think that the explanation works well enough when we remember magic fills in the rest of the gaps. The magical science behind it is iffy, but there's a foundation.
